Wednesday, MARCH 1
Venus forms a quintile with Pluto and approaches alignment with Jupiter today, boosting our connections and elevating or expanding our feelings. Our timing with business and personal pursuits is good.
Venus-Jupiter encourages much hopefulness, generosity, and friendliness. We more readily give one another the benefit of the doubt. We’re cooperative and forgiving. This transit can also elevate our expectations! We can be indulgent or tempted to overspend or overstate our feelings. Our love of learning, exploring, and sharing is in the spotlight, and our appetite for love and pleasure is robust. We’re opening our hearts and perhaps wallets as well.

Thursday, MARCH 2
Mercury aligns with Saturn this morning, shortly before it leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces. It won’t be long before Saturn makes the same sign change (on March 7th).
The meeting of Mercury and Saturn inclines us to think and communicate about serious matters, responsibilities, obligations to others, and worries or grievances. We may be addressing a problem once and for all. Our ability to concentrate is enhanced now, possibly because circumstances call for it. There could be an increased need for solitude to think or solve problems.
This is a time for seeing things realistically or for their practical value, and we seek tangible results. There might be a verbal or written commitment made now, or we could experience a form of a reality check.
Mercury enters Pisces this afternoon, where it will transit until the 19th. During this cycle, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors our thoughts and communication style. It’s a period for making decisions intuitively. We don’t enjoy pinning down, labeling, or strictly defining things during this transit. We recognize that life isn’t always logical and prefer not to think in black-and-white terms. We’re sensitive and impressionable, which means we can take in more than usual, and it can sometimes overwhelm us. Today’s Moon is in protective Cancer.

Mercury enters Pisces
Mercury is in Pisces from March 2-19, 2023–which is relatively quick. Mercury enters Pisces this evening.
When Mercury is in Pisces, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors both our thoughts and our communication style.
We guess well, express ourselves with imagery, and make decisions intuitively. We are more attracted to consciousness-raising information.
It’s not always easy to verbalize our impressions during this cycle. We don’t enjoy pinning down, labeling, or strictly defining things. We recognize that life isn’t always logical, and we prefer not to think in black and white terms. We’re sensitive and impressionable, which means we can take in more than usual and it can sometimes overwhelm us. Pisces needs periodic time alone or within to regenerate and detox.

Friday, MARCH 3
The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 10:16 AM EST, and home or family matters are in stronger focus than usual. From 10:16 AM forward, the Moon in Leo opens us up. We seek more feedback and interaction.
Venus aligns with Chiron today, and it’s a time to express compassion or forgiveness. We may feel drawn to problem areas so that we can repair them. We more readily see the beauty in human weaknesses as well as the pain of growing, healing, and restoring. It’s a solid time to build trust in relationships and see each other’s potential, although the process might feel challenging in spots.
Saturn and Pluto form a semi-sextile today. Both bodies are changing signs this month, and this connection today can highlight intense ambitions and the tendency to keep things to ourselves. We can struggle with balancing matters related to our use of resources and power. Whether to scale back or go big can be an issue now.
The void Moon occurs from 9:23 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Pluto), until the Moon enters Leo at 10:16 AM EST.

Sunday, MARCH 5
With a Sun-Pluto semi-square this morning, we might crave a sense of control over events, relationships, and circumstances, becoming frustrated at any sign that we don’t have it. Tensions can surface if we’ve been holding onto worries and concerns. The more we bottle up, the more pressure builds.
The Moon spends most of the day in the sign of Leo, and our feelings are strong. With the Virgo Moon from 10:39 PM EST, we seek to tie up loose ends and deal with routine matters.
However, the Sun and Uranus are heading toward a sextile, exact tomorrow morning, stimulating our willingness to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations.
The Moon is void from 10:19 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Saturn), until the Moon enters Virgo at 10:39 PM EST.

Monday, MARCH 6
The Sun forms a sextile to Uranus this morning, stimulating our willingness to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. Group connections can be enlightening, and we’ll do the best for ourselves if we embrace flexibility and innovation. We might arrive at creative solutions to problems and make happy improvements now. Spirits are high, and we’re excited about change.
Still, it’s the day before a Full Moon, and Saturn is about to change signs, and it’s best to ride on this innovative energy but avoid jumping into something new. The Moon spends the day in practical, helpful Virgo, and taking care of details can be satisfying.

Tuesday, MARCH 7
The Full Moon occurs this morning at 7:41 AM EST in the sign of Virgo, and there can be a significant epiphany, realization, or turning point. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and fulfillment–an emotional time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
This Full Moon presses us to find a balance between day-to-day functions and routines, physical health, and the need for order (Virgo) and vision, spiritual health, and the infinite (Pisces). Virgo rules the tools and techniques we use to deal with day-to-day life, while Pisces rules the tools we use to deal with our spiritual selves.
The sudden awareness of a lack in our lives gives us a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs. It’s time to express ourselves and let things out of our systems. It’s an eyes-wide-open time for our work, habits, health, and routines. We are likely to receive strong messages from our intuition.
This Full Moon closely harmonizes with Uranus, suggesting a forward-looking attitude toward making changes and improvements. We’re inventive and inspired. However, its square to Mars indicates a temptation to rush things or push our agenda too soon.
Saturn leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces today, where it will transit until May 24th, 2025 (and later from September 1st, 2025, until February 13th, 2026).
During these periods, there can be some frustration in achieving practical goals until we learn to integrate our material and non-material values. We can feel uncomfortable with big shows of feeling or vulnerability/weakness.
However, we limit ourselves by not fully allowing ourselves these very human qualities. While we will work hard or root for the underdog, we don’t feel comfortable feeling like we are one!
We should watch for subtly conveying to others that we don’t need kindness, compliments, and support. We can be bothered by people who seem to play the victim or, on another level, are too “out there” with their spirituality. Lacking some faith or trust in our intuition (or life itself), we can frequently feel vaguely fearful. We can be more comfortable offering tangible help and advice than emotional shows of support.
We should learn to recognize how we may limit ourselves and our experiences if we deny our connection to the more vulnerable, messy, or chaotic side of ourselves. It’s a step-by-step, slow-but-sure process.
Quietly working hard can be a real strength of this transit. We’re learning to allow ourselves to be creative and imaginative. We’re also capable of considerable effort and hard work in support and service. It’s easier for us to put our egos aside to get things done.

Details
The Moon is Full in Virgo on March 7, 2023, at 7:40 AM EST.
A Full Moon occurs in the sign of Virgo on March 7th, 2023, when the Sun in Pisces forms an opposition to the Moon in Virgo. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
With the Virgo-Pisces service axis involved, this Full Moon presses us to find a balance between day-to-day functions and routines, physical health, and the need for order (Virgo) and vision, spiritual health, disorder, and the infinite (Pisces).
Virgo rules the tools and techniques we use to deal with day-to-day life, while Pisces rules the tools we employ to manage our spiritual selves.
Some sort of crisis (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs within the context of the house polarity where the Full Moon occurs in our natal charts.
This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between work and service, practicality and impracticality, criticism and acceptance. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our own lives.
However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us.
For now, we can’t sit on our feelings–we need to express them! Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is not particularly rational as yet.
This is an eyes-wide-open time for our work, habits, health, and routines. We are likely to receive strong messages from our intuition.
This Full Moon occurs around the same time that Saturn leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces. It harmonizes with Uranus and forms a somewhat wide square to Mars.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 16 degrees and 40 minutes of Virgo, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 13 to 21 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.
The following is a chart wheel with additional points for more detail:

- Feb 13, 2026 7:11 PM Saturn enters Aries
While Saturn is in Pisces, there can be some frustrations achieving practical goals until we learn to integrate our material and non-material values. We can feel uncomfortable with big shows of feeling or vulnerability/weakness. However, by not fully allowing ourselves these very human qualities, we end up limiting ourselves. While we will work hard or root for the underdog, we don’t feel comfortable feeling like we are one. We should watch for subtly conveying to others that we don’t need kindnesses, compliments, and support. We can be bothered by people who seem to play the victim, or on another level, are too “out there” with their spirituality.
Lacking some faith or trust in our intuition (or life itself), we can frequently feel vaguely fearful. We may feel more comfortable offering tangible help and advice than emotional shows of support. We should learn to recognize how we may limit ourselves and our experiences if we deny our connection to the more vulnerable, messy, or chaotic side of ourselves. It’s a step by step, slow-but-sure process.
There is some tendency to avoid scrutiny at all costs, which can lead to missed opportunities. Even if we’re strong and resilient, we can sometimes doubt that we are able to cope. There is a possibility of persistent or formidable enemies.
Quietly working hard can be a real strength of this position. We’re learning to allow ourselves to be creative and imaginative. We’re also capable of considerable effort and hard work in support and service. It’s easier for us to put our ego aside in order to get things done.

Thursday, MARCH 9
With the Libra Moon all day, we seek to harmonize and balance our lives. The Moon opposes Jupiter and Chiron around midday, and we might struggle to pull ourselves out of an adventurous or restless mindset to focus on the moment.
Although we’re more sensitive to imbalances, we do what we can to harmonize. We’re more likely to seek feedback or someone to share ideas and feelings with. We’re idealistic and considerate. It’s a time of the lunar month when we see a different perspective or opposite viewpoint more readily, which can lead to more indecision than usual.

Friday, MARCH 10
The Moon continues its transit of Libra until 7:06 PM EST, when it moves into Scorpio. Mercury and Jupiter form a semi-sextile today, suggesting some inability to settle on a particular idea, opinion, or project. However, we think positively and bounce back quickly from disappointment.
Still, Mercury’s semi-square with Pluto can find us mildly skeptical later today. This influence can excite some tension or mental distress and worry. We tend to obsess over an issue that we can’t control. We’re somewhat mistrustful under this influence, although if we harness the energy and use it for good, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of a matter.

Saturday, MARCH 11
Venus forms a sextile to Mars this morning, and we take a creative approach to our relationships and projects. This transit supports flow and ease in close personal interactions without sacrificing engagement. We can make connections that prove fruitful and fortunate, and business relationships and pursuits can prosper. We might express our affection through our actions and feel compelled to create something beautiful. We are also more interactive and charming than usual.
Mercury’s sextile to Uranus encourages alternative approaches, new ideas, and scientific thinking. Intuition is strong, and insights are quick and exciting. Original, creative ideas and theories come naturally. We can take advantage of this by solving problems in new, innovative ways. Varying our usual routine may be especially rewarding, and ideas to do so abound.

Sunday, MARCH 12
Jupiter aligns with Chiron in the sign of Aries today. This standalone transit encourages an increased need for greater understanding, wisdom, and awareness, as well as a more vital interest in the healing arts and holistic health. It may be a time when we update or enrich our personal belief system. The potential is high for ridding ourselves of negative attitudes that have held us back.
As this conjunction occurs in the sign of Aries, we can be especially interested in dealing with personal demons that have fractured our confidence and ability to assert our boundaries.
It’s also a good time for motivation and dedication levels regarding work or projects, research, and personal interests. There can be opportunities to pursue absorbing topics and projects of interest. More joy and meaning can be found in our commitment to wellness, health, work, duties, and responsibilities, and we are exceptionally resourceful today.
The desire to work on problem areas is powerful; to that end, we’re courageous and willing to break through barriers.
It’s a strong time for tapping into our inner genius or personal potential and putting it to work for us. We can be determined to take better care of ourselves, and discoveries made now can fuel or reignite our motivation to pursue a particular path.

Tuesday, MARCH 14
Mars forms a square to Neptune today, and we may struggle to focus on our priorities. Energy is up and down, particularly if inspiration wavers. The Sun and Mercury will get involved in the next few days as they align with each other and Neptune, also set to square Mars.
Mars in Gemini square Neptune first formed in October 2022 and later returned to the aspect in November while retrograde. Motivation or energy levels may wane as we feel overwhelmed with possibilities and uncertain about our next step. Desires are hard to pin down. Instead, inspiration comes from unusual sources.
There can be a change of course or a break from the action. With this transit, we should watch for difficulties with boundaries and limits. Attempts to take the easy way out will probably backfire. However, from disappointment, we can find the motivation to make improvements. Confusing problems or objectives that emerged in October can resurface for handling now.
Today’s energies are also complicated by the Sun-Moon square. With this Last Quarter Moon, we crave action or movement in our pursuits. It’s not the best time to start a significant project, as the decreasing light of the Moon symbolizes descent into unconsciousness. However, it’s reliable energy for taking a mature look at a situation, and it makes sense to process recent revelations.

Wednesday, MARCH 15
The Sun aligns with Neptune today. With this yearly conjunction, we find meaning in our experiences more readily than usual. We’re tuned in, inspired, and charitable. With this combination, we can be extremely sensitive to the moods and undercurrents around us. We make judgments intuitively and instinctually. We might resist defining our actions and goals; instead, we seek alternate ways of connecting with our dreams. Our morals may be flexible as we tend to stretch our usual boundaries.
This transit stimulates and enhances spiritual awareness. It’s a generally good time to connect with our dreams, ideals, and romantic or spiritual selves. Still, the Sun and Mercury are heading toward a square to Mars, and tension is building. Discontent with current situations can be pronounced.

Thursday, MARCH 16
The Sun and Neptune aligned yesterday, and Mercury meets Neptune today. The Sun and Mercury are heading into alignment, exact tomorrow morning, and both bodies square Mars. This combination is intense and complicated, and restlessness can be the result. What we say or write now has an impact, for better or for worse.
We could too easily find ourselves in disagreement with others, however, especially if we’re communicating ineffectively or impatiently. We may be competing for the floor when it comes to expressing our ideas, thoughts, and opinions, making it difficult to engage in healthy dialogue. Mental agitation could dominate. We may stir up controversy with what we say or how we say it. It can also be hard to settle down. We may have a strong urge to do something, to take action, and to make something happen, but we may not know how to direct this excess energy. It can certainly signify that we need more challenge, enterprise, and initiative. Reactions tend to be defensive or competitive now, and we can be averse to negotiation or compromise. We may be looking for strength but disappointed when we see something else altogether.
The day’s energies are complicated further by a Venus-Pluto square. Both Venus and Pluto are in the last degree of signs and challenging one another today, and the potential for making emotionally-charged mistakes runs high.
Our personal plans and ambitions can feel at odds, causing some tension. There can be obstacles to clear as we wrestle with our fears. This transit can accentuate or stimulate our insecurities, bringing suspicions and jealousies to the surface. Jealous and possessive feelings are directly proportional to fear of losing something or someone. We can be worried about betrayal or being in the dark about a matter. Social interactions may be intense or could provoke intense feelings. It can be exceedingly easy to trigger sensitive points, but what works us up can be very revealing to those on a self-discovery journey.
Shortly after Venus and Pluto form a square today, Venus enters Taurus. Venus will transit Taurus until April 11th and performs well in the sign. In Taurus, Venus is comfortable, sensual, content, and perhaps possessive. We seek security more than usual during this cycle and place more value on things that last. In fact, Venus in Taurus improves and enhances our judgment of value and worth. Our appetite for pleasure is strong in the weeks ahead.

Venus enters Taurus
Venus is in Taurus from March 16 to April 11, 2022. In Taurus, Venus is naturally very sensual, content, and possessive. We seek security and value those things that are long-lasting. Our appetite for pleasure is strong.
The sign of Taurus values the here and now and the world of the five senses. Tangible and physical expressions of love and romance figure strongly during the Venus-in-Taurus cycle. Holding on to someone or something we love is our tendency under this influence.
The shadow side of this is excessive possessiveness and treating our partners as objects that we own or want to own.
On the financial side, Venus in Taurus looks for high-quality, solid, practical, and long-lasting items. Holding on to our possessions is more likely now. With art, tastes, and pleasures, we prefer things that are earthy, natural, and grounded. We can be somewhat indulgent at this time. Uncertainty bothers us more than usual–we favor stability over excitement in love and pleasure.

Friday, MARCH 17
The superior conjunction of the Sun and Mercury occurs today, and ideas and realizations now are pivotal.
This Mercury-Sun alignment offers us a nice window of opportunity to see our goals. It can stimulate an epiphany, illumination of a matter, or a clearing of the air. We are sharp, communicative, and open at this time, and what we say or write now has a strong impact. An idea or plan can come to full bloom.
Venus forms a sextile to Saturn this evening, encouraging a considered, practical approach, particularly in our social lives. It’s a grounding influence that helps stabilize our affections. We place a higher value on security, steadiness, and loyalty.
This transit boosts the appeal of the ordinary and reliable–we appreciate longstanding alliances or tried-and-true pleasures. We are more responsible with others and with our own feelings and affections. Our judgment is sound, and we’re a little more conservative with money under this influence. We can enjoy planning and organizing.

Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto today, improving our ability to see more layers of a situation. We might discover further information that gives us an edge or finally “see” the truth of a matter we’ve avoided. It’s a powerful time to look more deeply into a topic.
We benefit from being patient and strategic in our decision-making and are willing to look beyond the surface of things. Conversations are probing, investigative, and meaningful, and we may come to an improved psychological understanding of our lives. Sunday, MARCH 19
Mercury enters Aries today, and until April 3rd, this Mercury cycle can feel refreshingly decisive and forward-looking. It can certainly be a time when we’re a bit impatient or terse, but it can feel good not to dwell or spend too much time arriving at conclusions in the weeks ahead.
We’re less concerned with objective viewpoints and explanations during this cycle and more interested in reaching a decision quickly. We want to pioneer and innovate or be the first ones with the idea. It’s time to speak more spontaneously and directly with the planet of communication in bold and assertive Aries.
Mercury’s semi-square to Uranus today can be a little too tense, however. We’re mentally excited but distractable.
This transit adds minor erratic elements to the day, particularly in our communications, thought processes, and outlook. We may be rushing to complete something, share an idea, or communicate, but things may end up half-done if we’re impatient. We are bored with routine, which can signify that we need some mental refreshment.
The Moon is void from 6:33 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces at 11:12 AM EDT.

Monday, MARCH 20
With Venus and the North Node in alignment this morning, we may connect with others who help move us closer to our objectives, particularly goals related to security, a healthy self-image, money, and resources. We are more concerned with harmonizing than usual and tend to be agreeable and cooperative. We might make fortunate connections.
The Sun moves into Aries today, but just before it does so, it harmonizes with Pluto (also on the verge of changing signs). This Sun-Pluto sextile puts us in a renovating spirit–we seek more depth from our activities and connections. It subtly increases our determination, ambition, and dedication. Making improvements or working toward a personal goal can be successful now. We tend to direct our energy constructively and seek new insight into our lives.
The Sun enters pioneering Aries this afternoon, marking the time of the Spring equinox and the start of the astrological New Year. The Sun will transit the sign of Aries until April 20th. We’re enthusiastic and spontaneous during this cycle, and we can be motivated by the desire to conquer, initiate, or pioneer. We are impulsive, and we want to come first and innovate. Aries is a sign that bounces back quickly and is often without pause for regret. We are direct, brave, and relatively uncomplicated in our needs, but we can also be short-sighted or impatient.
The Moon spends the day in Pisces.

Aries is a sign that bounces back quickly–there is little in the way of shame with Aries. It is brave and pioneering, and somewhat innocent. We are direct and rather uncomplicated in our needs, but we can also be short-sighted and lack the desire to plan ahead.

Tuesday, MARCH 21
Jupiter forms a semi-square with Saturn today, and when we think in big terms, or if we have the urge to expand, we confront obstacles or need to face reality. Re-structuring of our lives and business goals is now in order. There is no “easy fix” just now – we need to keep working hard and can make good progress, even if there are fits and starts.
It’s best to breathe new life into old plans rather than strike out with a new one altogether. We should watch for overextension, which can lead to frustration.
This is the final of three transits, with the other two perfections having occurred July 21st, 2022 and September 21st, 2022.
A New Moon occurs in the first degree of Aries (and the zodiac) today at 1:23 PM EDT, presenting the ultimate of fresh starts. In the week ahead, it’s a good time to try something new and innovative and go at it enthusiastically and confidently. We’re discovering our personal courage. It’s a strong cycle under which to re-evaluate our relationship with ourselves.
With this potent Aries energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and thus a New Moon in Aries is especially ripe with opportunity for new beginnings. We might consider acting on a constructive impulse, following a hunch, or taking a risk. Aries learns through experience and action, and we might treat ourselves to a bit of adventure during this cycle.
It’s also a good cycle for discovering the benefits of authentically expressing ourselves as we are without putting on airs.
This New Moon’s alignment with Mercury adds a mental, communicative theme to this fresh start. Mars, the ruler of Aries, forms an out-of-sign square to the lunation, and while we’re ready to work hard and pace ourselves, we can be impulsive or premature.
The Moon is void from 11:58 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aries at 12:02 PM EDT (a very brief void-of-course period).

The Moon is New in Aries on March 21, 2023, at 1:23 PM EDT. The New Moon occurs at 0° Aries 50′.
The following is the chart wheel of the New Moon in Aries occurring in 2023.
The New Moon in Aries marks the beginning of a new cycle. The Pisces New Moon cycle ends and the Aries New Moon cycle begins.
The New Moon in Aries is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Ram. It’s time to take action – try something new and innovative, and go at it with gusto and confidence; be assertive without being abrasive; take charge of our lives; start a brand new project, and discover our own personal courage.
This is a strong cycle under which to re-evaluate our relationship with ourselves. With this potent Aries energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. It’s time to make some solid yet realistic plans and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our new beginnings, as little or big as they may be, in approximately two weeks’ time after the Full Moon occurs.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and thus a New Moon in Aries is especially ripe with opportunity for new beginnings. We might consider acting on a constructive impulse and following a hunch or taking a risk.
Aries learns through experience and action, and we might treat ourselves to a little adventure now. It’s also a good cycle under which to discover the benefits of expressing ourselves with authenticity – expressing ourselves as we are, without putting on airs.
We might find ways to learn how to rely on ourselves and to be happy about doing so – it will go a long way towards finding inner happiness when we know that we can be self-sufficient without blaming others for not helping us out. It’s a time to revitalize ourselves through experiences that break the routine and that involve doing something new and fresh.
This New Moon occurs in the very first degree of Aries (and the zodiac), suggesting a particularly strong new beginning theme globally. Its alignment with Mercury adds a mental, communicative theme to this fresh start. Mars, the ruler of Aries, forms an out-of-sign square to the lunation, and while we’re ready to work hard and pace ourselves, we can be impulsive or premature.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 0 degrees and 50 minutes of Aries, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 0 to 5 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, and Libra, and Capricorn) and 27 to 30 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.
I like to see two charts of the New Moon. The featured chart uses only the major bodies and is useful for seeing chart patterns and core influences. Adding additional points or bodies is helpful for seeing nuances, as follows:

Wednesday, MARCH 22
The Aries Moon is direct and action-oriented. With a New Moon in the sign just behind us, we want to start fresh and new.
Early today, a Sun-Uranus semi-square can stir some restlessness that may seem too generalized to put to productive use. We may want to shake things up, make changes, and break the routine. However, we could also be tense if there are unexpected schedule changes or if we’re not in touch with what we need to change. It’s better to keep things simple.
Today’s Mercury-Venus semi-sextile can serve to subtly contrast a logical and playful approach. With this influence, it’s too easy to say things we don’t mean or feel. However, while we may not be especially focused, we’re adaptable and making an effort to understand one another.

Thursday, MARCH 23
Pluto moves into Aquarius today. It will transit the sign until June 11, 2023, and later from January 20, 2024, until September 1, 2024, and again from November 19, 2024, to March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces.
While Pluto flirts with Aquarius in 2023, it won’t consistently transit the sign until late 2024. In all, Pluto will spend between 19 and 20 years in Aquarius.
While Pluto is in Aquarius, we take social structures and politics especially seriously and seek major reform in these areas. Unusual, intense, or dramatic happenings are possible with friends and networks. During this long-term cycle, we will likely confront issues of control and power related to individuality, equality, friendships, and group associations. We can be on a quest to distinguish ourselves for our progressiveness, scientific minds, ideals, humanitarianism, or unique qualities. It’s also a time when we seek to change and overhaul society through science, inventions, and the mind/ideas. See more about Pluto in Aquarius.
Today’s Mars-Jupiter quintile can stimulate our motivation to produce, act, grow, and improve. We’re excited to make our own luck. We are very resourceful and can find much to look forward to under this influence.
The Moon continues its transit of innovative Aries until 2:42 PM EDT, after which it moves through grounded Taurus.
The Moon is void from 1:14 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Mars), until the Moon enters Taurus at 2:42 PM EDT.

Friday, MARCH 24
The Moon spends the day in Taurus, and we’re interested in building on our new ideas or what we already have in place. This Moon is a steady, pleasant influence that helps us pace ourselves.
We can be indulgent as the Moon aligns with Venus this morning, but this evening, it forms a conjunction with Uranus, and the need to do our routines just a bit differently can arise. We prefer to do things voluntarily without instruction or direction. We should make an effort to respect and validate others when expressing what we need and want.
With a Mercury-Pluto quintile coming into play, we may want to focus on a particular project or idea and develop it more fully. We’re pleasantly dedicated or attentive now.

Saturday, MARCH 25
Mars enters Cancer today, where it will transit until May 20th. We are cautious and conservative under this influence, but we will fight for, about, or on behalf of those people and things that are dearest to our hearts. Much of what we do depends on our current mood, although we are strong and patient during this cycle.
We’re also very intuitive and can be moved to take action to bring peace or comfort and safety to our lives during this period. We go to bat for our loved ones. It’s a powerful period for putting ego matters aside so that we can push our plans forward. Inner satisfaction and love are generally more important to us than outer achievements at this time. Personal and domestic goals are our priority during this phase.
A Mars-Pluto quincunx complicates the day’s energies, stimulating some edginess and tension. Feelings of anger or competitiveness can be challenging to manage, process, integrate, or understand, especially since they may be displaced or unresolved as they’ve built from other times.
A Venus-Neptune semi-square, on the other hand, points to the tendency to gloss over problems or see what we want to see, imagining the best or the worst. Of course, the truth is somewhere in between. We might have temporary doubts about our lovability and worth or about relationships, pleasure, or comfort levels. Alternatively, we might go in the other direction and look the other way in the face of critical flaws and details.
The void Moon occurs from 12:20 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Neptune), until the Moon enters Gemini at 8:42 PM EDT.

Monday, MARCH 27
Mercury forms a semi-square with Saturn today, pointing to potential delays or miscommunications. We may need to manage some inconveniences in our transit or communications. Drawing on patience is essential, as minor edits can ultimately benefit us.
However, Mercury heads toward an alignment with Jupiter, exact very early tomorrow, and verbal expression flows smoothly as the day advances. It can be an excellent time to come to agreements and resolutions. We see the big picture and are more likely to factor in what’s meaningful to us. We’re inclined to talk and think about our dreams, plans, friends, and connections, opening up and enjoying the process.
We should watch for overstating and promising more than we can fulfill, but it remains an excellent time to enjoy good humor and positive vibes. This transit inspires optimism–we’re finding reasons to feel hopeful. Our opinions are strong. It’s a good time to stretch our thinking to include new possibilities.

The Cancer Moon is warm, comfortable, and protective from 6:23 AM EDT. However, a Mars-Uranus semi-square adds an impatient edge to the day’s energies. We may seek to dominate or assert our independence if we feel trapped, restricted, or otherwise limited. We should watch for impulsive moves but also seek creative, inventive ways to get ahead.
Fortunately, a Mercury-Mars quintile is incredibly clever energy for figuring things out and solving problems.
The First Quarter Moon occurs tonight when the Moon in Cancer forms a square to the Aries Sun. A crisis theme surrounds any quarter Moon phase as we feel compelled to take action. We can face obstacles now, and ideally, they’re motivating.

The Moon’s harmony with Venus and Uranus helps us release and let go, boosting our capacity to embrace different ideas and methods. New techniques or options can emerge, and while the Cancer Moon is traditional and sentimental, we’re not against some minor changes or novel approaches.
Later today, the Moon forms a square with Jupiter, and while the overriding need is to detox and calm, there can be tension resulting from conflicts between desires for independence and needs for nurturing. Patience is necessary now.

The Moon continues its transit of Virgo until 9:45 AM EST, harmonizing with Pluto, and we want to better ourselves or our situation. The Moon in Libra from 9:45 AM forward encourages us to be fair and objective and to use our people skills. This transit is conciliatory and gracious, helping us see the other side of a story. We’re focusing on creating balance and harmony.

The void Moon occurs from 6:37 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 7:06 PM EST.

The Moon is void from 4:50 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Venus), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 8:06 AM EDT.

Why so many dates? Pluto is very slow-moving, and with retrograde (effective backward) activity, it advances only about 1-3 degrees per year, depending on the sign. While Pluto flirts with Aquarius in 2023, it won’t be consistently in the sign until late 2024. In all, Pluto will spend between 19 and 20 years in the sign.

Mars enters Cancer
Mars is in Cancer from March 25 to May 20, 2023. We pursue our interests ardently, but we avoid a direct approach to going after we want while Mars transits Cancer. As well, our goals and plans are subject to mood swings and vacillations. We are defensive rather than overtly aggressive. Much of what we do depends on our current mood of the moment.
We’re also very intuitive and can be moved to take action to bring peace or comfort and safety to our lives during this period. We go to bat for our loved ones. In fact, we’re fiercely protective. It’s a powerful period for putting ego matters aside so that we can push our plans forward. Inner satisfaction and love are generally more important to us than outer achievements at this time. Personal and domestic goals are our priority during this phase.

Sunday, MARCH 26
The Moon spends the day in Gemini, stirring our curiosity and inspiring us to connect.
Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, aligns with Chiron today, and while revelations can be messy, this influence opens us up to learning and healing. It encourages us to open our minds and learn from one another and our circumstances. Sudden awareness spurs us to grow and improve.
We are incredibly open to new ways of looking at problems or life, in general, and we’re more sensitive than usual to communication nuances.

The Moon is void from 9:40 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Cancer the next day, Tuesday, March 28th, at 6:23 AM EDT.

Tuesday, MARCH 28
The Moon continues its void period until it enters Cancer today at 6:23 AM EDT.

Wednesday, MARCH 29
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Cancer, and we tend to seek refuge in familiar places and faces. This transit stirs our need to connect with loved ones and feel a sense of belonging or safety.
