2027 Midpoint Transits
Astrological transits for 2027 with hard aspects to midpoints. The points included in this transit list are: the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
The aspects listed here are only hard ones (45-degree), including the conjunction (Conj), semi-square (Ssqr), square (Sqr), sesquiquadrature (Sesqu), and opposition (Oppos).

About this List
Included points are the Sun through Pluto with the exception of the Moon. Aspects include the conjunction, semi-square, square, sesquiquadrate, and opposition. Note that astrologers normally don’t pay much attention to the soft aspects to midpoints.
Midpoint notation involves inserting a slash between the two planets or points involved. Thus, a Sun (
) Moon (
) midpoint would be:
![]()
In the above midpoint transit list, the midpoint between Sun and Mars, for example, reads “Sun/Mars.”
Example:
“Plu Conj Mer/Sat” means Pluto is transiting conjunct to the midpoint between Mercury and Saturn.
“Par” is parallel and “CPar” is contra-parallel.
Note that this list also includes straight-up aspects between the planets, even when midpoints aren’t involved. For example: “Dec 22, 2027, at 11:00 PM, Mar Sqr Sat” means that on December 22nd, 2027, at 11:00 PM EST, Mars forms a square with Saturn. Since there is no slash, a midpoint isn’t involved. However, the next line that reads “Dec 23, 2027, at 7:31 AM, Mar Conj Mer/Ven” is a midpoint transit: Mars conjuncts the Mercury/Venus midpoint on the morning of December 23rd, 2027, in the Eastern Standard time zone.
About Midpoints
When a planet hits a midpoint via a transit, it energizes that midpoint. A midpoint is the point that’s exactly in between the two planets or points involved. For example, if the Sun/Mars midpoint is at 1 degree Aries, 1 degree Aries is the point exactly in between the Sun and Mars.
Near/Far Midpoints
There is such thing as near or far midpoints, and the near midpoint is the most used.
Technically, in the circular zodiac, there are two midpoints for every planetary pair–one is the closer midpoint that is formed between the two planets (the near midpoint), and the other is the midpoint that falls between two planets in their wider spacing (the far midpoint).
Near and far midpoints of the same planetary pair are opposite one another, that is, at the same degree in opposite signs. For example, if the near midpoint is 1 degree Aries, the far midpoint is 1 degree Libra.

Aspects:
With midpoints, however, the aspects we look for are the hard aspects, including the conjunction, square, and opposition, as well as the minor hard aspects: the semi-square and sesquiquadrate.
