Last Quarter Moon
The Last Quarter MOON occurs on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at 3:51 PM EST.
On Thursday, a Last Quarter Moon occurs as the Sun in Sagittarius forms a square with the Moon in Virgo.
The Last Quarter Moon phase points a crisis of consciousness. After basking in the awareness symbolized by the full light of the Moon at the time of last week’s Full Moon, we disperse our knowledge and come to a point when we need to sort out what works for us–and what doesn’t–in preparation for next week’s New Moon, when something new is born once again.
This is not the best time to start a major project, as the decreasing light of the Moon symbolizes descent into unconsciousness. It’s time to begin finishing up the details of that which was conceived at the last New Moon. We might consider recent revelations, what they mean to us, and our next steps. As we advance, it’s a better time to tie up loose ends, take inventory, and let go if necessary. We’re sorting out what does and doesn’t work for us.
The Last Quarter Moon Chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 20 degrees and 4 minutes of Virgo square the Sun at the same degree of Sagittarius, affecting planets at approximately 18 to 22 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) the most.
NEXT WEEK: The next Moon phase will occur next week, on Friday, December 19th, 2025, at 8:43 PM EST, when the New Moon will occur.

This week: The Sun is in Sagittarius; Mercury is in Scorpio until the 11th, when it enters Sagittarius; Venus is in Sagittarius; Mars is in Sagittarius.
The Sun is in Sagittarius from November 21-December 21. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need for an intimate connection with a person and with ourselves, to the desire to reach out to the world and connect with something larger than ourselves.
While the Sun moves through this fiery, mutable sign, we can take steps to increase our understanding and awareness of the world around us. We are more able to muster up the courage to expand our horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking.
We can gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the “big picture” as we move away from our focus on the details of mundane existence. Although we may be prone to overdoing our expectations, we have the opportunity to nurture our faith, hope, and vision under this influence.
Mercury is in Scorpio from October 6-29 and from November 18-December 11 [Mercury transits Scorpio in two parts this year due to Mercury’s retrograde from November 9-29 that begins in Sagittarius and ends in Scorpio]. When Mercury is in Scorpio, our thoughts and communications are more probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and arrive at reasonable solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover.
We tend to probe, observe, and focus our thoughts under this influence. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried, the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. Our thoughts are profound. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations.
Scorpio is exceptionally sharp, profound, and analytical yet also intuitive. Thinking is inclined to be one-track-minded, focused, and even obsessive.
Mercury-in-Scorpio isn’t shocked by much, or at least keeps its cool even if surprised. During this cycle, our approach is psychological when analyzing, deciding, and studying or observing. We’re not afraid to go places mentally. We get to the heart of a matter or to the bottom line very quickly, usually through instinct. Our resourcefulness and strategy stand out. We’re competitive.
We can be intrigued by motives and secrets or taboos. It’s not easy to take instruction or someone’s word for it–we have to experience it ourselves to draw conclusions. This position of Mercury is one of the most persuasive. It’s an excellent time to research, investigate, troubleshoot, and work on hunches. If left to observe on our own, we do our best thinking, seeking the hidden layers of a situation.
Mercury is in Sagittarius from October 29-November 18 and from December 11, 2025-January 1, 2026 [Mercury transits Sagittarius in two parts this year due to Mercury’s recent retrograde from November 9-29 that began in Sagittarius and ended in Scorpio]. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. We seek ideals, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us most now. However, we are not always very precise under this influence.
We’re more inclined to ask questions and seek answers during this forward-looking cycle. We might often wax philosophical, and we enjoy wrapping our minds around new concepts and ideas. Still, the details are not as interesting to us now, as we prefer to envision the big picture.
On the downside, we can be inconsistent and lack attention to details. While frank and open, we can also be tactless during this period. We’re generous with our communications and input, and we’re humorous and friendly at this time.
Venus is in Sagittarius from November 30-December 24. Moving from Scorpio to Sagittarius, romantic energy shifts from intense to buoyant. Sagittarius, of course, has its intense moments, considering it is a fire sign. However, its energy is considerably less focused; and, while Scorpio is most concerned with intimacy with a specific person, Sagittarius’ love is of a more universal kind.
Romantic adventures and a straightforward–even blunt–approach to love are on the agenda. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of Venus in Scorpio. Truth and higher meaning are the priorities with Venus in Sagittarius.
We’re idealistic in our relationships during this cycle. It’s more critical than usual that our partners and companions support our dreams, goals, freedom needs, beliefs, and vision. We value intellectual rapport more than usual during this period.
Openness with our feelings can sometimes backfire, but for the most part, it can be refreshing. We tend to more spontaneously enjoy ourselves or throw ourselves into pleasure, art, cultural interests, and special interest topics at this time. We can especially enjoy travel, learning, the outdoors, or animals.
With money, we can be a little reckless or careless, but also faithful and optimistic. Some element of luck or good karma can be involved with our finances. Benefits, whether material or spiritual, can come through publishing, foreign or religious connections, travel, education, or legal matters.
Mars is in Sagittarius from November 4-December 15. With a Sagittarius Mars, our actions are motivated by our ideals. We are bothered by routine, quickly becoming restless if we feel confined. Our love of adventure and of conquest is strong–this is the position of wanderlust. We start projects or challenges with gusto, although we may tend to abandon them rather quickly. This may be because we set our sights too high! There is a tendency to jump in and think about it later. Part of us resists directions, instructions, and planning ahead.
We are spontaneous, direct, and passionate about our beliefs with Mars in Sagittarius. It’s a playful, fun-loving, and optimistic energy. We have strong morals, and we’re champions for the truth. We’re also ready for a hearty debate. Given the space to find our own way, we can move mountains. In fact, we enjoy stretching our limits. It’s an inspiring, forward-looking period when we follow our hearts and positive visions of the future.

Jupiter is in Cancer.
Jupiter began its transit of Cancer on June 9th, 2025, and will continue its visit to the sign until June 30th, 2026. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Cancer.

Saturn is in Pisces. Saturn was in Aries from May 24th, 2025 to September 1st, 2025, and will be in Aries again from February 13th, 2026, to April 12th, 2028. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aries. Saturn isn’t yet completely done with its transit of Pisces. Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and currently, from Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Uranus has returned to Taurus.
Uranus is in Gemini from July 7th to November 7th, 2025, from April 25, 2026, to August 3, 2032, and then from December 12, 2032, to May 22, 2033. Read about Uranus in Gemini in its calendar page.
Uranus has more work to do in the sign of Taurus from November 7th, 2025, to April 25th, 2026. Uranus began in Taurus in 2018/2019. During this cycle, we approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.

Pluto is in Aquarius. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Note that Pluto finally completed its journey through Capricorn on November 19th, 2024, from which time Pluto stays in Aquarius for many years to come.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Sagittarius from November 30-December 24. As Venus moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius, romantic energy changes from intense to buoyant. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of the Venus-in-Scorpio phase. Truth and higher meaning are focal points for Sagittarius.
Venus in Sagittarius is forward-looking, not very specific, outgoing, and energetic. Freedom is most important in our love relationships now. We take a happy and enthusiastic approach to love, and we might find too much intensity or seriousness depressing. We have a taste for the exotic as well as for adventure with Venus in Sagittarius.
This position’s shadow side is restlessness, the inability to “settle down,” and endless searching for something bigger and “better.”
This week: On Sunday and Monday, we may want more pleasure in our lives, but we can be going overboard. It’s best to avoid setting too-high expectations in our relationships. We’re optimistic and ready to take a chance or give someone or something the benefit of the doubt, but we should watch for overextension. It’s best not to overstate or make big promises based only on the good mood of the moment.
On Wednesday and Thursday, some social niceties go by the wayside. We may be working at cross-purposes with our relationships or relationship goals. There can be a lack of agreement, dissatisfaction stirring, and a sense that our relationships are blocking our growth in some ways.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Sagittarius A yearning for adventure and far horizons stirs in you now. To roam, to wander and wonder, to seek freedom and go where no one has gone before – these things are deep and powerful longings. A time of romantic crusades, a universal love that might not be too particular.
Venus sesquiquadrate Chiron December 6. Love cannot be forced. This is not a commitment-friendly transit, as we may feel alienated for no apparent reason and unwilling to give of ourselves.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter December 7. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus contra-parallel Jupiter December 8. We’re optimistic and ready to take a chance or give someone or something the benefit of the doubt. We are able to make the best of a situation now. Watch for overextension. It’s best not to overstate or make big promises based only on the good mood of the moment.
Venus square North Node of the Moon December 10-11. Social niceties go by the wayside, and we may be working at cross-purposes with our relationships or relationship goals. There can be a lack of agreement, dissatisfaction stirred up, and a sense that our relationships are preventing our growth.
Venus semi-square Pluto December 14. Tendencies to look for something wrong in a relationship. Jealousy raises its ugly head.
Venus trine Chiron December 18. A commitment-friendly transit. Love can heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings.
Venus quincunx Jupiter December 18. A strong desire for the pleasures of life is with us now, although our eyes are often bigger than our stomachs. Troubles in relationships now are likely due to overblown expectations. It can be challenging to find a balance between responsibilities and the desire for self-gratification.
Venus parallel Pluto December 19. The desire for drama and intensity in relationships is with us. Love feelings and relationship issues can be all-consuming now, assuming more importance in our lives than usual. Interactions with others are intense now, and themes of sharing and trust dominate in relationships.
Venus square Saturn December 20-21. Feeling unsatisfied, isolated, and unloved. Personal relationships are likely to be strained as we express our affections cautiously and sparingly. If we believe we are not getting what we want in love, we attract negative situations and challenges in our relationships. This is not a good time to begin a new relationship–new ones begun now are likely to be stamped with themes of duty and restriction.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, December 7th, from 8:46 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Neptune), until the Moon enters Leo at 9:49 PM EST.
VOC on Tuesday, December 9th, from 11:57 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Wednesday, December 10th, at 2:21 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Friday, December 12th, from 9:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Neptune), until the Moon enters Libra at 11:04 AM EST.
December 2025
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waning this week, which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, although with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, there are no windows of opportunity this week. The next window will occur on Sunday, December 14th, from approximately 10:35 AM to 10:30 PM EST, while the Moon is in Libra.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
![]()
![]()
Mars quincunx Jupiter. We tend to take on too much–either expend too much energy or overestimate our capabilities–during this transit. Poor timing is possible now, as we may be out of synch with our instincts and natural rhythm.
![]()
![]()
Mercury trine Saturn. Clear, realistic thinking characterizes this influence. A good time to get organized, to do detail work, and to prepare for the future. Decisions made now tend to be practical and well thought out. Work done now is likely to beget tangible results in the future. Conversations may be spare but to the point. Manifestation and achievement are what satisfy.
![]()
![]()
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. Problems in our personal life likely won’t get resolved under this influence. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.
![]()
![]()
Sun semi-square Pluto. A tendency to want to control our lives through some form of manipulation is strong during this influence. Meeting with obstacles in our paths, however, can force us into the position of using all of our resources to fight back, and we can discover resources we never knew we had in the process.
![]()
![]()
Mars square Saturn. Frustrations, smoldering anger, and a feeling of being blocked when we are attempting to go after what we want characterize this transit. Our desire to take action and to constructively express our aggressive urges feels thwarted or blocked. It can feel like more effort than usual is required to complete tasks.
![]()
![]()
Mercury opposition Uranus. Mercury opposition Uranus. We are distracted. Our communications get lost, are interrupted, or are misunderstood. Disagreements with others are quite possible. It’s not a good time to present an argument or an important idea.
![]()
![]()
Mercury trine Neptune. Imagination and intuition run high, and are involved in decisions made today. We are in the right place at the right time. We may easily sense the thoughts and feelings of others. We express ourselves with subtle flair. Favors photography, the arts, poetry, fiction, spirituality, advertising, and promotion.
![]()
![]()
Mars quincunx Uranus. Making adjustments to our goals may be necessary now, and this can temporarily drain our energy or make us feel restless and impatient.
![]()
![]()
Mercury sextile Pluto. We possess more insight and psychological understanding than usual. We are willing to look beyond the surface of things and investigate further. Perhaps more importantly, we are more patient and strategic in our decision-making.

DECEMBER 7
Mars forms a quincunx with Jupiter this morning, stirring discontent and a sense of being out of sync with our instincts and natural rhythm. We could have trouble making decisions or find it challenging to integrate one strong desire with another. Circumstances are such that we need to assess where we’ve been putting too much–or too little–energy. Poor timing is possible, and we may need to shift our focus and prioritize.
A Mercury-Saturn trine midday, however, supports detail work, realistic thinking, and step-by-step approaches to learning and communicating. We can be exceptionally clear and practical in our thinking. Manifestation and achievement are what satisfy. Today’s Sun-Pallas sextile can improve our social relations, negotiations, and ability to compromise. We’re motivated to better understand each other and our situations.
The Moon is void today from 8:46 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Neptune), until the Moon enters Leo at 9:49 PM EST.
DECEMBER 8
While today’s Leo Moon is positive and even buoyant, the day holds complicated aspects. A Sun-Pluto semi-square produces some edginess or tension related to pressures to perform or advance. If we fear we’re out of the loop, it can be hard to accept it. There can be a struggle to let go of the inconsequential. We might crave a sense of control over events, relationships, and circumstances, becoming frustrated at any sign that we don’t have it. Tensions can surface if we’ve been holding onto worries and concerns. The more we bottle up, the more pressure builds.
Also today, Mars forms a square with Saturn, which is a more explicitly tense transit, as it presents blocks. Ambitions and accomplishments are firmly on our minds, but there may be obstacles to surmount. We could feel blocked from asserting ourselves or pursuing our desires. It can seem like more effort than usual is required to complete tasks.
We might face disapproval or a dip in confidence, and we should draw on patience and aim to build our endurance. It’s a better time for maintenance than it is for moving forward. Recognizing our limits and adjusting our speed accordingly is key. It’s a time to slow down and make adjustments and edits, as we may encounter resistance if we push ahead.
DECEMBER 9
Today’s Sun-Jupiter biquintile motivates us to grow and improve, although we should watch for posturing rather than embracing change. This transit also encourages us to view what’s happening in a positive light. It helps us see patterns more clearly. We’re interested in making the best of our circumstances now. It’s also a generally good time to bond and connect on emotional, caring levels. We could have the opportunity to connect and understand others and bond through sharing our humanity, sensitivity, or vulnerability.
The Moon spends the day in Leo, and with its trine to Mars, we’re connecting with our initiative. We seek channels for expressing our creativity and spirit for adventure. The mood is right for enjoyable activities and pastimes. There can be a lot of playfulness, warmth, and enthusiasm at this time. Still, the Moon also forms squares with Mercury and Uranus tonight, and minor disagreements can occur. It can be challenging to express what we intend, and we can be sensitive to situations that have us feeling fenced in.
The Moon is void from 11:57 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Wednesday, December 10th, at 2:21 AM EST.
DECEMBER 10
Neptune turns direct today after a retrograde phase since July 4th. Now and in the coming few weeks, confusing situations will likely become more transparent. Our creativity soars, or at least, we are more confident about applying our creativity in the real world. Instead of thinking of this period as a time of disillusionment, we can see it as a time of illumination–when we increasingly see the light. We have more faith in our dreams and visions, in others, and our belief systems. We begin to seek inspiration from external sources. With Neptune at a station today, however, we may have some difficulty focusing, especially with a Mercury-Uranus opposition also in play.
Mercury first opposed Uranus in late October and then recurred on November 19th when Mercury was retrograde. Today’s is the third and final formation, and it can stir mental tension, controversy, miscommunication, or changes of mind or plans, and resistance to ideas. Friction stirred now can challenge us to learn more about our minds and opinions. Epiphanies and unusual insights can occur. Surprising news might arrive, turning our perception of a situation on its head.
The Moon is void until it enters Virgo today at 2:21 AM EST.
DECEMBER 11
Venus squares the North Node of the Moon today, suggesting a potential lack of agreement, dissatisfaction, or a sense that our relationships are working counter to our growth. As such, it can be challenging to make a decision that we can be content with temporarily.
Mercury forms a trine with Neptune today, however, and we seek mental inspiration. We’re inclined to follow our intuition, imagination, or moral sense. We may easily sense others’ thoughts and feelings, and we express ourselves with greater flair or panache.
Later today, Mercury enters Sagittarius, where it will transit until January 1st. Mercury first entered Sagittarius on October 29th, but due to its retrograde, it retreated into Scorpio. Mercury in Sagittarius is curious, questioning, and brave with thoughts and ideas. Our thinking is optimistic and idealistic, and our faith increases. Until the 16th, Mercury remains in its post-retrograde shadow, and we may be covering old ground, this time armed with more information.
This afternoon’s Last Quarter Moon encourages our desire to help, sort, excel at work, analyze, and organize. The Last Quarter Moon is exact as the Sun in Sagittarius forms a square with the Virgo Moon at 3:51 PM EST, signaling a time to review rather than push something new. Until after next week’s New Moon, it’s a better time to tie up loose ends, take inventory, and let go if necessary. We might consider our recent revelations, what they mean to us, and what our next step might be.
DECEMBER 12
The Moon continues its transit of helpful, observant Virgo until 11:04 AM EST, when it heads into compromising, gracious, and reasonable Libra. While the Moon’s oppositions to Saturn and Neptune and square to Mars early today can be disorienting and tense, we’re tapping into our innovative spirit, and as the day advances, our determination to make things work. With the Libra Moon, we’re gracious, accommodating, and willing to meet people halfway. Especially aware of our social skills and need for more effective communication, we’re ready to make long-lasting changes.
The Moon is void from 9:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Neptune), until the Moon enters Libra at 11:04 AM EST.
DECEMBER 13
This morning, Mars forms a quincunx with Uranus, and we could be dealing with minor changes of plans or a restless urge for change that interferes with the flow. Some fear of change can temporarily stop us in our tracks. Our efforts to satisfy our desires can miss the mark, but this gives us a chance to make refinements and recalibrate.
Mercury’s sextile to Pluto today can bring new awareness to a matter that we’ve recently researched. We might uncover valuable truths or insights, or gain a deeper understanding of a situation. We might discover new information that gives us an edge or finally “see” the truth of a matter that we’ve been avoiding. It’s a good time to let go of something that has kept us bound or stuck in a difficult situation. The Moon spends all day in the balanced, tactful sign of Libra, and we’re focusing on harmonizing our relationships and environment. The Moon’s sextile to Venus this evening further boosts our interpersonal skills.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Cancer
![]()
The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence. The Moon feels right at home in the sign of Cancer, as it rules the sign. This Moon position has much healing potential. Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.
The Moon in Cancer generally favors the following activities: Domestic activities, those that involve awareness of personal needs. Home decor, family get-togethers.
When the Moon is in Leo
![]()
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
When the Moon is in Virgo
![]()
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
![]()
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.

THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Sagittarius You’re now embarking on a trek into a land of dreams – not passive daydreams, but vibrant visions of what may be. The time has come to stop looking at the world as it is and asking why. Now’s the time to imagine the world as it could be, and the question has become: “Why not?” You also cannot do everything you imagine now, but you cannot do anything you don’t KNOW you can do – so believe, and dare to make it happen! This means expanding your mind, your belief system, your whole base of knowledge and experience. Time’s a wastin’ – let no grass grow between your toes!
Mercury in Scorpio A pronounced curiosity about taboos and mysteries plays a greater part in your life now. Your mind is on cutting through the nonessentials and penetrating to the core is where your mind is at now; you want to know who (or what) pulls the strings. Sex, taxes, investments, and others of life’s most compelling phenomena may captivate your interest more than ever before.
Mercury in Sagittarius A time of expanding your mental horizons is at hand. Religion, philosophy, law, and education are some of the things that may have special importance for you now. Being in touch with faraway people and places satisfies an intellectual yearning – curiosity will take you anywhere and maybe everywhere.
Venus in Sagittarius A yearning for adventure and far horizons stirs in you now. To roam, to wander and wonder, to seek freedom and go where no one has gone before – these things are deep and powerful longings. A time of romantic crusades, a universal love that might not be too particular.
Mars in Sagittarius Ideology is a keynote of the new phase you have begun – the power of ideas and the power they wield over people. Religious, cultural, or philosophical controversies and crusades have a way of stirring your blood. Travel and adventure are compelling temptations as you dare to test your mettle and stretch your horizons.
Jupiter in Cancer Taking care of yourself and all that’s yours becomes a high priority in your life now. Security, setting down roots, establishing your ties with the past: these things are among the articles of faith that guide you. This is often a sign of growth in all things connected with family and property (such as real estate).
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Aquarius Reform, revolution, a rejection of the past and a focus on the future: these are the signatures of the new phase now beginning in your life. Tradition becomes irrelevant, and the conventional wisdom is revealed as dogma or outright nonsense – and what’s the difference, really? Radical changes in all things social and intellectual.

(Times are Eastern)
