Asteroid Ephemeris 2023
Asteroid Ephemeris for 2023
The following ephemerides are for the following selected asteroids: Eros, Psyche, Sappho, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, and Chiron.
Ceres is a dwarf planet and rules food, agriculture, transitions in a female’s life, nurturing, motherhood, and family relationships. With Ceres, there is a love of what is simple, natural, and good for you. There is also a strong need to nurture and protect, as well as to treat other living beings, including animals, with respect.
Juno represents commitment, marriage, betrayal, give and take in partnerships, partnership itself, infidelity, fairness, and compromise. Juno is enraged with inequalities and shows us where we seek to make things balanced, fair, and right.
Eros represents objectification, passion and desire, the thrill of the chase, and creative power. In the birth chart, this asteroid can point to areas where we pour a lot of heart, passion, and enthusiasm.
Sappho in the natal chart represents same-sex relationships, friendship, love, romantic sensitivity, poetry, and romantic yearning. Where Sappho is, there is greater vulnerability, yearning, desire for poetry and transcendence, and love.
Psyche in the natal chart represents the soul and the mind. It can represent love, passion, fear of betrayal, envy, fragility, vulnerability when we are in love, and other sensitive relationship dynamics. It is about getting to know our relationship needs and learning to trust.
Vesta in our natal charts represents dedication, focus, sexual healing, health, warmth, devotion, and a sense of purpose. Vesta points to devotion to a higher purpose, hard work, structure, tradition, obsession, and righteousness.
Pallas in our natal charts represents strategy, wisdom, planning, intuition, intelligence, strength, skill, insight, upheaval, activism, and politics. This is a point where illusions are stripped away, connections are made, and strategies are created. Pallas is an agent of change and seeks to raise awareness.
Chiron in our natal charts points to where we have healing powers as the result of our own deep spiritual wounds. We may over-compensate in these areas of life. Chiron, as a wounded healer, first must face issues of low self-worth and feelings of inadequacy and learn to rise above them. Because the wound goes deep, and we may work hard to overcome the wound, healing powers are potent.
Note: Time is Eastern Midnight. Retrograde planet positions are pink.
