The Moon spends the day in the sign of Leo, stimulating our desire to reach out and share ourselves with others in heartfelt ways. Satisfaction comes from pride in our actions and creations.

However, Leo’s ruler, the Sun, forms a semi-square to Saturn, casting a serious tone to the morning. We’re tuning into our sense of duty and desire to protect, control, and build. We’re cautious and serious-minded early today, and we could face challenges to self-expression. Responsibilities can weigh heavily on our minds.

As the day advances, however, a Venus-Neptune trine comes into play, inspiring us. We trust others first before judging, preferring to cooperate, not compete. We see the very best in people now, which takes the pressure off in personal relationships. We’re also inclined to glamorize objects, situations, and pleasures. We prioritize spiritual and emotional concerns over material ones at this time. It’s easier to tap into our inner spiritual wisdom and draw on compassion. We’re also more attuned to the world of beauty, the arts, and the imagination.

Nevertheless, our timing may be a little off with Venus about to form a quincunx to Mars early tomorrow. There can be a dilemma or difficulties feeling entirely at ease with others and making satisfying choices for entertainment or pleasure. Our romantic sensibilities and desires may be at odds, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. Conflicts are likely between desires for independence and the need for nurturing or to nurture.
