The continued emphasis on your solar twelfth house means 2019 is another year of relative quiet, withdrawal, and repose, dear Aquarius. However, Jupiter’s transit of your social sector for most of the year helps round this all out. On the one hand, you’re inclined to keep to yourself, work on things behind the scenes, and keep a low profile. On the other, you’re enjoying a social boost — a boon, even!

People love being around you, and you them in 2019, more so than usual. You benefit from your connections, too. Yes, you require lots of downtime and space to recharge in between, but you thoroughly enjoy sharing, feedback, and camaraderie with others.

Another big change this year involves your planetary ruler, Uranus, moving into the sign of Taurus for the long haul — until 2026, in fact! Taurus is a fellow Fixed sign — stubborn, persistent, and loyal like you but is from the Earth family rather than your Air, and you don’t always understand its energy (unless you have Taurus strong in your natal chart). For Aquarius, this is a private, secret, or unresolved matter. It’s about starting anew, and there may be a disruption before a new beginning. It’s a time for considering your needs for rest, stillness, and unburdening.

Full Moon Eclipse in Leo on January 20/21

In the first degree of Leo. This is the final eclipse in the Leo-Aquarius set – we release something and move on. It comes at the time of a Venus-Jupiter conjunction that makes this release especially sweet. As well, Mercury and the Sun have now moved beyond Pluto – another sense that we’re moving forward, unstuck.

This is a particularly important eclipse for you since it’s the last one in an eclipse set that’s been directly affecting you for the last couple of years. This can be a final push towards more independence or towards a serious relationship, whichever this set about personal independence and one-to-one relationships has meant to you or been about for you. There can be a release or culmination of a matter along these lines.

Aligned with Neptune quite tightly (within a degree), sextile Saturn, sextile Mars, widely square Jupiter. Mercury is stationary retrograde at a critical degree (didn’t quite finish its transit of Pisces).

Until December 2nd, Jupiter continues to move through your solar eleventh house, bringing benefits and fresh energy to networking activities, the formulation of broad, long-term goals, acquaintances, clubs, and organizations in your life. You can rely on your friends for their help and support, and your circle of friends could most certainly increase during this fruitful transit. Your long-term goals and wishes tend to be broad and perhaps unusual or ahead of the times during this cycle. You may particularly enjoy dreaming up ideas for the future. Achieving your goals tends to come more easily. Others especially value your advice and often turn to you for help. You could become more active with friends or in your community. You may have opportunities to join or lead clubs or groups. Group activities and associations could be avenues for fulfilling your goals. You may take special joy in sharing a common cause or ideals with others. You are especially hopeful and more inclined to believe that if you wish it, it will be! Income from your business or career is likely to increase. You might be more tolerant of others in general, and of differences in values. Reaching out beyond your personal circle can certainly open doors to you and bring joy into your life during this cycle. These positive circumstances won't necessarily fall into your lap and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. From December 2nd forward, Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion, is in your solar twelfth house. During this longer-term transit, you may enjoy benefits to activities that take place "behind the scenes" or otherwise privately, as well as in the soul. This is a cycle in which you become more compassionate, empathetic, and sensitive, or get in deeper touch with these traits. Jupiter in the twelfth house is said to offer one spiritual protection. This is a time when you can rid yourself of self-destructive tendencies, deep-seated fears, and deeply-ingrained tendencies towards guilty feelings. You are more able to get in touch with your subconscious mind, and in fact, confronting your fears can be quite pleasurable during this period. Charity, giving/donating anonymously, volunteering, and helping others without expectation of reward will be most fulfilling during this cycle. Helping others helps you. Work that involves serving others may begin now and bring you much joy. Your dreaming world may be especially rich, lighter, helpful, and more intuitive. Meditation and retreats may be especially useful to you now, as they regenerate and invigorate your spirit. Much pleasure and growth might be found in solitude and contemplation. You may pick up New Age studies, spirituality, dream interpretation, or research during this cycle. Some people enter into a private romance during this cycle. In general, help seems to be there when you need it. You are building or rebuilding your inner faith now. These positive circumstances won't necessarily fall into your lap and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. Jupiter's influence is considered positive, and it is, ultimately. However, it acts to magnify the area of the chart that it affects, and at times it can be uncomfortable if you are having difficulties in this area. In your case, if you are lonely or if you feel helpless, and if you have troubles facing your past, then this influence can heighten these issues. Ultimately, it's for good. The cosmos asks you now to surrender some of your attachments and to surrender to the unknown. Releasing control is necessary. Building your faith is the work you are doing now. While your tendency is to play a supportive role to others, if taken too far, you will need to draw some boundaries when it comes to your energy and time. Your perceptions heighten, and in fact, intuition is extremely reliable now. Your ability to make sacrifices for others increases, and you might build your confidence in yourself as you help and support others.

Saturn transits your solar twelfth house (until 2020). It’s typically felt most strongly in the first year of its influence – for you, that was last year!

You may discover vague fears and anxieties that act to undermine your confidence during the course of this transit, which frees you up to work on resolving them. Contemplation of your accomplishments and your “failures” may figure now. Saturn is turning a critical eye to all that lies beneath the surface, and you are forced to do some serious “spring cleaning” of your psyche during this period. You are facing your own demons–the vague fears that undermine you. We all have skeletons in our closet. What we don’t always realize is that they can seriously undermine our happiness and well-being. Saturn sweeps through your “closet” (the twelfth house), and demands that you take a hard look at what’s been hiding in there. Is this process uncomfortable? For some of us, it can be. But getting rid of outdated attachments, and examining and discarding irrational fears, is not only necessary for further growth and development–it’s ultimately a huge relief.

The twelfth house in some ways is a dumping ground for things we have left “undone.” Saturn here wants you to sort through the junk and keep only those things that you truly need for future development. This process can be rather lengthy and it can feel very slow, but if done properly, it can be most rewarding. You tend to deal with endings rather than new beginnings during this transit, as you shed outdated attachments and unconsciously prepare yourself for Saturn’s upcoming transit of the first house when you will work diligently on your individuality and personal identity (from 2020). Some of you may be introspective at this time, perhaps isolating yourself from worldly activities and acquaintances a little in some manner, although when Jupiter is transiting your eleventh house, you are more sociable. Health issues, generally of a psychosomatic nature, may come to the fore. You may be attracted to alternate ways of living and to self-help or self-study fields.

This can also be a time when you give of yourself to others, as you are valuing charity more than usual. You could be struggling with issues of self-worth, and this is a fine time to really explore what it is that holds you back from going after what you want and deserve in life. There can be a retiring, somewhat withdrawn or private element to your personality. You may need to watch that people in your life don’t feel rejected by your withdrawal. Otherwise, with Saturn in the background of your solar chart and Jupiter in your social sector, you’re in a very winning position.

Uranus continues to transit your solar third house until March 6th. Uranus in your solar third house indicates that you may be easily bored or distracted when it comes to traditional mental pursuits. You may pick up a brand new study this year. Exposure to new ideas opens up new worlds to you. Your daily life is bound to be very colorful. Regular encounters with neighbors, relatives, and acquaintances, as well as everyday activities and business activities, are all changing quite dramatically. In addition, your basic mental attitudes are evolving. Your interests can become quite eclectic during this cycle. Studies may be erratic or part-time.

The more acute elements of this transit have already been experienced before 2019 for your decan of Aquarius.

Uranus transits your solar fourth house after March 6th. Your home life may be in a state of flux this year or can be up in the air in some manner. It’s possible that you move house, but even if you don’t, there could be some disruptions to your domestic routine or erratic elements on the home front that necessitate a fresh approach. This transit could stimulate you to make changes that have long been overdue. For example, you might free yourself from limiting or frustrating circumstances. Letting go of old family conditioning or unhealthy ties to the past may be themes in 2019 and beyond.

Neptune continues its lengthy transit through your solar second house this year. Neptune’s influence in the second house has the effect of changing your value system. Things that you’ve buried, such as past events that you are ashamed of, emerge and require sensitive handling. Facing your ghosts with self-honesty is required of you now and in the coming years.
