2019 Aries Overview: Horoscope for the Year Ahead
Aries (Born March 21-April 20*) – 0 to 30 degrees Aries:
2019: Aries Horoscope: Love, Career, & General Trends
The year 2019 brings fabulous energy for both work and exploration, dear Aries. While you can receive some seemingly very different messages this year, it’s a period with immense potential for advancement and enjoyment once you find a way to fit everything in.
On the one hand, you have heavyweight planets pushing you to perform and accomplish this year (and much of the next). It’s a power period, although it may not be until the tail-end of 2019 when you really come into your own in this respect. It can be a time of quite a bit of hard work and recognition. You’re challenged to simplify and streamline, but also to take charge, particularly with your career and responsibilities. Changes are necessary in the process, and while you can feel overtaxed and possibly pressured at times, these are improvements that will benefit you for years to come!
On the other hand, you have Jupiter encouraging you to explore, discover, and enjoy life to its fullest. This means stepping out of the office or out of your comfort zone from time to time and making the most of your time away. Adventure, travel, and learning may be on the agenda now, and these can be immensely satisfying.
Still another strong force this year is about your home and family or personal life. You’re encouraged to devote special time to these areas of life, and not just superficial attention, but pouring your heart into what you’re doing. How will you manage all of these things? You do receive some help from Saturn itself with time management, but you may feel like you’re juggling things from time to time until you get into a comfortable groove. The idea is to make full use of your time when you’re working hard to achieve your goals, when spending time with family or taking things easy, and when you’re enjoying some hearty recreation.
Particularly from your birthday period forward in 2019, you’re in a wonderfully creative period when you’re more able to compartmentalize in healthy ways, fully tuning out work while resting, for example, and working with few distractions when you’re pursuing your goals.
You’re closing an important chapter in your life as Uranus moves out of your sign permanently in March. Uranus was in Aries since 2010, pushing you to find yourself and assert your independence. Now that it’s moving on, you’re likely to feel more settled and less rebellious or triggered. Uranus moves into your resources sector and will stay there all the way until 2026, and you now begin a phase in which you treat your money, business, and possessions quite differently. It can be a time of some upheaval and unpredictability, but also innovation and progress with these matters. Changes in these areas can free yourself up for an opportunity period with your work and health from the end of August through September. Whether money means freedom to you or freedom is about detachment from certain possessions, this is a time of an evolving relationship with your material affairs.
The year 2019 can be an active and satisfying period for publishing, sharing your ideas, and learning new skills that will boost the upcoming career boon, starting in December and running through most of 2020.
By December, you’ll feel not only more ambitious but also more capable of handling your ambition and reaching your goals! You’re embarking on perhaps the most potent period for your career or life path goals of your life.

Key Events in 2019 for Aries:
Outer Planet Transits:
Jupiter square Neptune from January to September. We are looking for a new source of inspiration, but we have the tendency to latch onto impractical dreams or plans to remedy the situation. For you, Aries, you have a strong desire to take off, explore, and discover new things, but disorganization due to unfinished business or guilt and fear can keep you from going all in at times.
Helping you out with this, however, is:
Saturn sextile Neptune from January to November. This reinforcing aspect helps ground you. It can be a fabulous help, even if it’s a rather subtle influence. For you, Aries, focusing on stabilizing your work, career, or reputation can strengthen your commitment to downtime, rest, and repose. Separating work and rest is important now, and also very successful! As well, having more faith in the universe can enhance your work as you let go of the need to over-control things.
Also this year:
Saturn conjunct South Node (April to September) and Pluto conjunct South Node (April). Difficulties are possible related to hanging on to old habits that may be preventing you from growing, improving, and thriving. You may be sticking with the familiar only for fear of change, and this is a tendency you should watch.
Uranus trine Jupiter in December. This happens near the end of the year in Earth signs. In your solar chart, we find Earth signs in your practical sectors and this boost comes to your finances, career, business, and reputation. It’s about innovation, progress, new technology, methods, or approaches, and it’s a positive development! This is a great time to look at your career, finances, talents, and business in new ways. You want to make improvements and you feel confident that you can. You have a fresh and positive attitude towards your own self-worth and value. Improvements and opportunities are likely in your practical affairs. Some of you could receive recognition, a raise, or simply a boost. There can be new innovations and stimulations occurring now that stir your ambitions.
Significant minor transits:
Venus conjunct Jupiter — twice! On January 22 and November 24th…and this happens in your adventure and spirit sector both times, making this a special time for learning and sharing. It’s a fine time to expand your horizons, publish something special, or promote your work. Love through travel or education is possible now.
Mars conjunct Uranus in late Aries on February 12-13. This occurs shortly before Uranus leaves your sign for good, making it a powerful period for moving forward with a personal initiative. You’re expressing your independence and perhaps breaking free from something that has been holding you back from growing.
Mars in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries on April 3rd and Mercury in Aries sextile Mars in Gemini on May 1. This is an excellent time for learning, communications projects, skills development, writing, speaking, and relationships with relatives.
Sun conjunct Uranus in early Taurus on April 22 and Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus on May 18. Now that Uranus is consistently in the sign of Taurus and your resources sector, these transits can get the ball rolling with change and progress related to personal possessions, money, and concepts of self-worth. What you value is changing now.
Sun conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn on December 25-27th. An opportunity period for your career, public life, reputation, or life path.

Overview: Harmony and Challenge of Outer Planets:
You have wonderful support from Jupiter in 2019, Aries. Uranus is in your sign only until March when it moves on for good, taking some of the pressure off.
Aries is a Fire sign and is of a Cardinal nature, suggesting that you want to make things happen.
Areas of change and occasional disruption tend to be career, reputation, and finances.
This is a powerful year for publishing, spirit, bravery, and travel or communications and learning. Go big in these areas, but know your limits!
From December forward, you really come into your own and fully enjoy your work or career. This can be a more public or responsible time, but also a period of much satisfaction.
You are in a career peak with karmic Saturn at the top of your solar chart and later this year, Jupiter moving there as well. Use any opportunity you can in 2019 to get your ducks in a row, particularly related to your home and family life since satisfaction with these can contribute greatly to your performance.
Eclipses happen in the angles of your solar chart, which tends to make this and the next particularly significant years in your life. Saturn and Pluto expect you to work hard. All the while, Jupiter wants you to expand or broaden your horizons in some manner, whether it’s through widening your audience, gaining new experiences, or reaching new markets. This is a time for checking off some of your bucket list items!
There’s a serious element to your life, no doubt, but you’re also more willing to push the boundaries on a mental level or with your experiences. Relationships require the understanding that you have many irons in the fire and you’re committed to what you’re doing.
While Saturn is constantly reminding you of your ambitions and performance, Uranus begins asking you to go lighter and freer with your things. It’s an interesting combo, and interesting combos is really a commentary on 2019 in general, more so for some signs than others, but all around, the year is filled with unusual combinations of planets. This may mean that the work itself is more important than the income this year and the next for many Aries. In fact, it may be that focusing on the work rather than the money at this point in your life can boost your chances of success in the long run.
