The year 2019 puts much emphasis on your social life and your career or responsibilities, dear Pisces, with some lessons to learn and tidying up to do, but also excellent opportunities to advance your goals.

You may be receiving wonderful feedback for your work, efforts, or talents, and this inspires you to do your best. It’s an exceptional year for work success and improved relationships with bosses, parents, teachers, and the like. People in high places take a shine to you. Or, you take on a managerial role and feel comfortable in that role. Having a plan or a well-defined goal in mind can improve your life at this time. Your enthusiasm is brilliant now.

Again this year (and part of the next), Saturn’s influence may depress business earnings for some, but Jupiter’s influence is excellent for your reputation and career. As such, some of you may find it easy to deal with modest earnings because you’re enjoying your work so much, or it can be a necessarily leaner time as you prepare for bigger gains at a later date. For others, it’s a time of less interest on material rewards and intense focus on burgeoning ambitions to excel and perform at your best.

Even so, Uranus moves out of your money house permanently beginning in March, and this can help steady, settle, and stabilize your resources and finances after a rather lengthy period of some unpredictability in these areas. Of special interest, too, is where it’s going now since Uranus spends seven years in a sign and is known to destabilize and excite the senses. From now until 2026, Uranus will transit your sector of communications, mental interests, the mind, mental outlook, transportation, and connections. This transit changes how you learn, think, communicate, and connect. New interests can come on suddenly this year and beyond. You’re challenging some of the beliefs or modes of thinking you’ve held and employed for most of your life now, and it can lead to breakthroughs and perhaps some interruptions in your studies or daily life. It’s an exciting, although not always consistent, period for learning and sharing.

This growing need to develop and diversify on mental levels can take you interesting places in 2019. There is likely to be some trial and error involved with your interests and studies, and you may want to watch for sudden attractions to impractical ventures.

A wonderfully reinforcing aspect in play for most of the year involves your modern ruler, Neptune, and its stabilizing aspect to Saturn. This is a subtle but helpful transit that supports your efforts. While there is undoubtedly a tendency to go over the top or to waste some opportunities this year (due to Jupiter’s square to Neptune), you’re practical overall and you can find nice support from a good friend or network, or strength from immersing yourself in a special cause or project in 2019.

Personal and professional goals may clash. This can go either way: either you’re inclined to overdo both to the point of exhaustion or to stay in a state of limbo, unsure where to put your energies. Do your best to avoid either extreme and seek out some balance for best results now. Neptune’s transit of your sign isn’t known for its clarity, but you do have some support for a stronger sense of direction this year with Saturn’s sextile to Neptune and Jupiter’s transit of your solar tenth house, so take advantage.

Love can be unpredictable at times this year, and you have the North Node encouraging you to find yourself creatively or romantically. Don’t be afraid to stand out for your special traits and to express yourself more freely and spontaneously. From the last week of August through to the end of September, a power period for partnerships arises.

Jupiter square Neptune from January to September. We are looking for a new source of inspiration, but we have the tendency to latch onto impractical dreams or plans to remedy the situation. For you, Pisces, these two planets are your classic and modern rulers. You may be feeling somewhat torn between your ambitions and sense of independence or freedom at times this year. Aim to avoid avoidance! Try not to stay in a state of limbo while you’re deciding which you prefer, as the main negative potential with this transit is wasting time.

You’re seeking inspiration, and you may not know where to put your energies at times because of this expansive, boundless, open feeling. Definitions are difficult to make. You seek more meaning, and it’s not always clear to you where to head.

Saturn sextile Neptune from January to November. This reinforcing aspect helps ground you. It can be a fabulous help, even if it’s a rather subtle influence. Focusing on stabilizing your social life or handling outstanding or unresolved issues related to your friendships or projects will help boost your confidence in yourself and faith in the universe, and it can give you a sense of mission. This is a fine period for a healthy balance of realism and spirit or imagination.

Saturn conjunct South Node (April to September) and Pluto conjunct South Node (April). Difficulties are possible related to hanging on to projects or relationships that are preventing you from growing, improving, and thriving. You may be sticking with the familiar only for fear of change, and this is a tendency you should watch.

Uranus trine Jupiter in December. This happens near the end of the year in Earth signs. In your solar chart, we find Earth signs in your social and communication sectors and this boost comes to your friendships, projects, studies, and mental outlook. It’s about innovation, progress, new technology, methods, or approaches, and it’s a positive development! This aspect can open up new channels for communicating and connecting in your life.

Significant transits:

Venus conjunct Jupiter — twice! On January 22 and November 24th…and this happens in your career sector both times, making this a special time for connecting with higher-ups or associates and for boosting your reputation. Love through business is possible. Your relationship or business makes you a little more popular or noticed at these times.

Mars conjunct Uranus in late Aries on February 12-13. This occurs shortly before Uranus leaves the sign of Aries for good, making it a powerful time for exciting developments and taking action on matters related to your personal income, finances, valuables, talents, or assets.

This eclipse falls in between Saturn and Pluto, so we could feel a little caged in, blocked, or stuck, as much as we want to start fresh, while a sextile to Neptune helps or serves as an alternative outlet. For Pisces, this is a matter related to friendships, associates, business income, special causes, group associations, or happiness goals. It’s about starting anew, and there may be a disruption before a new beginning. It’s a time for considering your needs for connecting to others or to something higher than yourself. A fresh start may arise from a feeling of being stuck or blocked by others.

Full Moon Eclipse in Leo on January 20/21

In the first degree of Leo. This is the final eclipse in the Leo-Aquarius set – we release something and move on. It comes at the time of a Venus-Jupiter conjunction that makes this release especially sweet. As well, Mercury and the Sun have now moved beyond Pluto – another sense that we’re moving forward, unstuck.

For you, Pisces, this can be a final push towards taking better care of your mental and physical health and needs. There can be a release or culmination of a matter along these lines.

This is an eyes-wide-open time regarding a one-to-one relationship or your relationship needs for you, Pisces.

New Moon in Pisces on March 6th

Aligned with Neptune quite tightly (within a degree), sextile Saturn, sextile Mars, widely square Jupiter. Mercury is stationary retrograde at a critical degree (didn’t quite finish its transit of Pisces).

While this is your personal new beginning lunation, Pisces, there are some outstanding matters to attend to before you begin fresh. It’s a time for reinventing yourself in some manner. You’re in the position to start fresh and take charge.

Pisces is an emotional Water sign and is also of a flexible, adaptable Mutable nature. You continue to host Neptune in your sign all year and beyond, bringing out your creative, imaginative side, but Chiron only until March, after which Chiron leaves your sign for good.

Areas of change and occasional disruption tend to be career and reputation, although you have tremendous potential to improve these things since the challenge is from Jupiter–a planet often considered lucky. Uranus is not in challenging aspect to your sign this year but is always a disrupter on some level, and from March forward in 2019, is encouraging you to make changes to your style of communication, personal projects, and ways of greeting others and your daily life.

With career, performance, and reputation, you’re encouraged to go big but know your limits! This can be a time of achievement, career advancement, and success in business. Business-related travel or the reaching of a wider audience is possible during this cycle. Your worldly or public status may change for the better. There could be a promotion, new job opportunities, a diploma, an important award, or marriage. You may come into the limelight. Authority figures or other influential people tend to look upon you favorably, see more potential in you, and readily help you along, so work it! Something might happen now, or circumstances are such, that your career (or professional interests in general) expands, and you find more joy and pleasure from your work. You could enjoy more freedom, or possibly even responsibilities, in your career. Integrity, directness, and honesty will get you everywhere now. The more willing you are to put yourself in the limelight, the more positive the rewards—this is not the time to be a shrinking violet! These positive circumstances won't necessarily fall into your lap and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. Saturn transits your solar eleventh house until 2020. It’s typically felt most strongly in the first year of its influence – for you, that was last year!

This can point to the strengthening of ties with a special friend or group. You are more selective about how you spend your time and with whom you spend your time. Some friendships built on weak foundations may be left behind.
