2025 Astro Events
On this page: Astrological events for 2025, including transits, eclipses, sign ingresses, and lunations (New Moon, Full Moon, First Quarter Moon, Last Quarter Moon). See also the 2025 Astrological Aspects page.
**Times are Eastern Time.
If you’re interested in a more detailed version that includes the Moon, see directly below the first file.
The following lists Astrological Weather for the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron. Aspects included are the conjunction, sextile, trine, square, opposition, quincunx, quintile, semi-square, semi-sextile, and sesquiquadrate.

Legend:
Use these reports to determine the aspects of the major planets (plus Chiron) to one another on any given day of the year 2025. Also listed are the dates and times of:
- the eclipses,
- four major lunar phases (New Moon, First Quarter Moon, Full Moon, and Last Quarter Moon), and
- sign changes (example, Mars enters Virgo), also called ingresses.
Examples
In the above example, Mars enters Virgo (depicted as conjunct the Virgo sign) at 0 degrees Virgo 00 minutes on June 17th, 2025, at 4:35 AM EDT.
In the above example, Mars re-enters Cancer in retrograde motion (depicted as conjunct the Cancer sign) from 0 degrees Leo 00 minutes on January 6th, 2025, at 5:43 AM EST. This one is a little different since Mars is moving backward from the Leo sign to Cancer.
In the above example, retrograde Mars at 27 Cancer 30 forms a trine with Neptune at 27 Pisces 30 on January 12th, 2025, at 4:15 PM EST.
In the above example, Mars turns direct (D) at 17 Cancer 01 on February 23rd, 2025, at 9:00 PM EST.
In the above example, Venus turns retrograde (Rx) at 10 Aries 50 on March 1st, 2025, at 7:36 PM EST.
In the above example, a Total Lunar Eclipse occurs at 23 degrees Virgo 59 on March 14th, 2025, at 2:59 AM EDT.
In the above example, a First Quarter Moon occurs at 9 Scorpio 32 on August 1st, 2025, at 8:42 AM EDT.
When a planet is retrograde, it’s marked with an Rx symbol (above).
For example, the above depicts Mercury as retrograde.
A “D” marks a planet as moving direct after a retrograde period. In truth, the “D” (direct) status is implied in all cases except when a planet is ending its retrograde period because it’s considered a planet’s regular state. The above shows Mars as turning direct. A planet without a modifier is assumed as direct.
Previous Year Examples
In the above example, Mercury turns direct (D) at 22 degrees Sagittarius and 11 minutes on January 1st, 2024, at 10:07 PM EST.
In the above example, Mercury turns retrograde (Rx) at 22 degrees Sagittarius and 40 minutes on November 25th 2024, at 9:42 PM EST.
In the above example, retrograde Mercury at 23 Leo 12 forms a trine to retrograde Chiron at 23 Aries 12 on August 23rd, 2024, at 8:20 AM EDT.
In the above example, Mercury is retrograde but not Saturn. Here, retrograde Mercury at 13 Sagittarius 06 forms a square to Saturn at 13 Pisces 06 on December 6th, 2024, at 8:53 PM EST.
In the above example, Pluto enters Aquarius (depicted as conjunct the Aquarius sign) at 0 degrees Aquarius 00 minutes on November 19th, 2024, at 3:29 PM EST.
In the above example, Pluto re-enters Capricorn in retrograde motion (depicted as conjunct the Capricorn sign) from 0 degrees Aquarius 00 minutes on September 1st, 2024, at 8:07 PM EST. This one is a little different since Pluto is moving backward from the Aquarius sign to Capricorn.
