Chiron enters Taurus

Chiron is in Taurus …

• from June 19, 2026, to September 17, 2026,
• and then from April 14, 2027, to July 19, 2033,
• and then from October 23, 2033, to May  5, 2034.

Chiron is now in the sign of Taurus after spending many years in the sign of Aries. Chiron’s now finished with Aries! Chiron did turn retrograde at a very early point in its transit of Taurus in 2026, and returned to Aries in September. Now, Chiron resumes its transit of Taurus consistently–it will stick around until the years 2033-2034.

While Chiron is in Taurus, we’ll be rebuilding our sense of self-worth. Sensitive points include our feelings about comfort, indulgence, money, personal belongings, and our values. We’ll be learning to focus on our needs in healthy doses without feeling guilty in the process.

A major lesson of this transit is that giving more will open us up to receiving.

It’s a time to address our fears of lack, especially in terms of money and comfort. At the same time, we can struggle with feelings of guilt or shame associated with our desire for enjoyment, some indulgence, sensual pleasures, slowing down, languishing, and comfort. It’s an important time to question why we might feel in the wrong for enjoying these basics and aim to address problems if we’re overcompensating in these areas.

As such, Chiron’s transit of Taurus opens up opportunities to manage insecurities and dysregulation in Taurus-ruled areas, including our relationship with our personal things, money, sense of security, desire for sensual pleasures and comfort, and our sense of self-worth.

We may be more sympathetic to people who are in a state of flux, facing scarcity, living unpredictable lives, or living without comfort/security. We may be called to develop and deepen our value systems. It’s a time to find new ways to make do with what we have–our innate resourcefulness comes to the fore.

This is a time to work on our feelings of being unfulfilled and wanting. Importantly, it’s a time to recognize where we go wrong when we’re acting on these things mindlessly, such as filling a void with material things.

It’s also a time to work on being closed off in the areas of values, aiming to open our minds to others’ value systems and recognizing that, even if different than ours, they can be just as valid.

During this transit, we can also become more aware of the connection between health and wellness and financial security or financial sufficiency.

We may be ready to do things differently with our things, our material worlds, how we comfort ourselves, and ways we earn/save/spend money. As we do, we can open ourselves up to better, healthier, and more fulfilling experiences. At the same time, we have a real soft spot for feelings of lack, instability, and scarcity.

 

 

Venus enters Aries

Venus is in Aries from April 19 to May 14, 2027. With Venus in Aries, love is spontaneous and direct. The chase is very exciting to us under this fiery influence. We are bold, fresh, and a little impatient when it comes to matters of the heart. We don’t look back with Aries energy. We are not interested in saying sorry or dwelling on the past–it’s a brand new day! It’s time to make things work right now.

Aries is known for a love of the chase and the conquest, but Aries love can be longstanding as long as it remains relatively fresh. Aries is blunt–there’s no sugar-coating with Aries. This can sting, but rarely is Aries energy mean or petty. Saying it like it is is important to the sign. Desires are strong and expressed spontaneously, enthusiastically, and directly. Aries prefers to seduce rather than be seduced, to chase rather than be chased.

Mercury enters Gemini

In 2027, Mercury is in Gemini in two parts: from May 8th to 28th, and then from June 26th to July 12th. Why so much time and in two parts? Because Mercury is retrograde from June 10th to July 4th. While Mercury is in Cancer when it begins its retrograde on June 10th, it returns to Gemini on the 26th, turns direct (ends its retrograde) on July 4th, and then continues its journey of Gemini until July 12th.

When Mercury is in Gemini, we are especially communicative, curious, and sociable. Mercury feels right at home in Gemini, one of the signs that it rules. We tend to take more pleasure in gaining a superficial knowledge of many subjects rather than dig deep into any one topic.

Mars enters Virgo

Mars is in Virgo from May 14 to July 15, 2027 (and happened recently, from November 25, 2026-February 21, 2027).

In Virgo, Mars is somewhat of a workhorse. We have a passion for details, as well as a need to do the right thing at just the right time under this influence. The satisfaction of a job well done is one of our greatest incentives now. We are more precise and concerned about performance.

We’re more exacting and concerned with correctness and details in our work, output, or efforts during this cycle. It’s a time of greater caution, skepticism, and discipline. We tend to focus on details and plans, sometimes losing sight of the bigger picture.

During this transit, we may find ourselves more interested in health and nutrition. This can lead to a proactive approach to our well-being. Note that Mars typically spends about two months in a sign, but this time around, it transits Virgo for longer, although in a divided way. This is due to a recent retrograde Mars cycle that divided its time between Virgo and Leo. Mars was retrograde from January 10th to April 1st 2027. Part of the retrograde cycle, Mars was in Virgo (Mars was retrograde in Virgo from January 10th to February 21st, 2027).

Now, over a month since the retrograde, Mars returns to Virgo, where it will transit until July 15th.

Venus enters Taurus

Venus is in Taurus from May 14 to June 8, 2027. In Taurus, Venus is naturally very sensual, content, and possessive. We seek security and value those things that are long-lasting. Our appetite for pleasure is strong.

Mercury enters Cancer

Mercury is in Cancer from May 28th to June 26th, 2027, and later, from July 12th, to August 2nd, 2027. Why is this a longer period than the typical 3-week Mercury sign transit, and why does it happen in two parts? Mercury spends a lot more time in Cancer this year due to a retrograde cycle from June 10th to July 4th.

When Mercury is in Cancer, we move from the desire for quantity to the need for quality in terms of the information we are attracted to. We think, speak, and take in information on a deeper, more instinctive level now.

We have less interest in what is universal, and more interest in what affects us personally and what affects the people close to us. Our thoughts are colored by our emotions, making it more challenging to be objective.

Venus is in Gemini from June 8th to July 2nd, 2027.

With Venus in Gemini, we have a finger in every pie. Curiosity motivates us on romantic and social levels. “Variety is the spice of life” is the motto now. We are sociable, communicative, charming, and interested.

While it’s a time when we can be animated and fun, we may also keep our distance on an emotional level. Attractions now often begin with words, as we tend to bond more readily on a mental level while Venus is in Gemini. We’re most attracted to mentally interesting people.

Sometimes, our curiosity leads us into relationships that we might not form otherwise. The shadow side of Gemini is fickleness or disinterest in profundity.

Sun is in Cancer from June 21-July 22, 2027. We are self-protective and insular under this influence. Our attention turns to our nest–our families, homes, and anything that makes us feel “at home,” safe, and secure.

Retrograde Mercury enters Gemini

Mercury moves back into the sign of Gemini on June 26th, 2027. It will be retrograde in Gemini only until July 4th, but Mercury will continue in the sign of Gemini until July 12th.

 

While Mercury began its retrograde on June 10th in the sign of Cancer, retrograde Mercury returns to the sign of Gemini on June 26th, 2027.

Mercury is in Gemini from June 26-July 12, 2027 (it just recently visited from May 8-28).

Mercury’s retrograde cycle, lasting from June 10th to July 4th, is the reason for Mercury returning to Gemini so soon after leaving the sign. The retrograde began in Cancer, but with reverse motion, Mercury now dips back into Gemini.
