Asteroid Ephemeris for 2011
The following ephemerides are for selected asteroids: Eros, Psyche, Sappho, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, and Chiron:
Note: Time is Midnight GMT/UT.
If you are in a different time zone, please adjust accordingly. For example, the Eastern time zone is 5 hours behind UT, while the Pacific time zone is 8 hours behind UT.
The daily position for each day of the month and year 2011 is listed for each of these asteroids. For example, on January 1st, 2011, at midnight UT, Psyche was at 12 degrees Gemini 22 minutes. Because it’s depicted in red, it was retrograde at that date and time.
An ephemeris can help astrologers visualize the progression of planets and asteroids through the zodiac, giving us a sense of its general speed.
On some screens, you’ll see this asteroid ephemeris better through the following PDF (be sure to resize as needed). Note that it’s an Eastern Time ephemeris instead of a UT one as above:

About this Ephemeris:
The ephemerides above show the daily positions, month to month in the year 2011, of the four major asteroids, Chiron, and the minor asteroids Eros, Psyche, and Sappho.
These are longitude positions in the tropical zodiac.
Note: Sign positions are displayed in red when the asteroid or point is retrograde. These positions are black when the point is direct.
Sappho in the natal chart represents same-sex relationships, friendship, love, romantic sensitivity, poetry, and romantic yearning.
Where Sappho is, there is greater vulnerability, yearning, desire for poetry and transcendence, and love.
Psyche in the natal chart represents the soul and the mind. It can represent love, passion, fear of betrayal, envy, fragility, vulnerability when we are in love, and other sensitive relationship dynamics.
Psyche is about getting to know our relationship needs and learning to trust.
Eros represents sexual objectification, passion and desire, and creativity.
Note that Eros is not always sexual, per se, as Eros also represents creative passion. In the chart, it can point to areas into which we pour a lot of heart, passion, and enthusiasm.
If reading an ephemeris isn’t your cup of tea, but you want to know your Eros and Psyche signs, see our Eros and Psyche Sign Tables.
