The Water Bearer

This symbol resembles waves in the ocean, making it easy to associate with the Aquarian Water Bearer. Because of the Water Bearer symbol, Aquarius is often mistaken as a Water sign. In fact, it’s an Air sign.
The flowers associated with the sign of Aquarius are the orchid (depicted above, and representing refinement, unusualness, and fertility) and the gladiolus (representing integrity and strength of character).

Gems: There are several gemstones associated with the sign of Aquarius: the garnet (aiding spiritual grounding, pictured above) and the amethyst (with its healing properties) are some.
The garnet is often worn to attract better health and good humor, as well as a protection against lightning! This is significant because Aquarius is associated with electricity and lightning.
The colors associated with Aquarius are sky blue, electric blue, and ultramarine.
Blues symbolize loyalty and trust.
Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac and is associated with the eleventh house.

While Aquarius is of a Fixed nature, their moods are up and down and they may scatter their energies rather than focus them on something substantial. Aquarius is brilliant at reading others.

Anatomy: Aquarius rules the calves and ankles.
Health issues if they arise associated with the sign are rheumatism, electrical injuries, related to poor circulation, cramping in the lower leg, and injuries to the ankles. The sign is also associated with the oxygenation process of the body, as well as blood circulation. When Aquarius is strong in the chart, a low-starch diet and breathing exercises are recommended.
