Full Moon
The Full MOON occurs on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, 8:19 AM EST.
On Wednesday morning, a Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Scorpio forms an opposition to the Moon in Taurus. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional event – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
Full Moons always pit opposite signs of the zodiac against each other. They also invite us to work to achieve a balance between the opposing energies.
With this lunation, the contrast between earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus and emotional, transformative, crisis-oriented Scorpio comes full bloom. The Moon in Taurus wants us to find emotional fulfillment through the simple, tangible things in life, while the Scorpio Sun draws our attention to complexities, intangibles, and mysteries.
The Full Moon illuminates this conflict between form (Taurus) and transformation (Scorpio), and between collecting (Taurus) and sharing (Scorpio).
This is a passionate and creative Full Moon, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences. Intimate relationship matters, such as personal comfort levels and values and sexuality, figure prominently now. This Full Moon harmonizes with the North Node, suggesting we can quickly connect with a sense of purpose in light of our revelations.
The Full Moon Chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 13 degrees and 23 minutes of Taurus, affecting people with personal planets and points at approximately 9 to 17 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.
NEXT WEEK: The next moon phase will occur next week, on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at 12:28 AM EST, when the Last Quarter Moon will occur.

This week: The Sun is in Scorpio; Mercury is in Sagittarius; Venus is in Libra until the 6th, when it enters Scorpio; Mars is in Scorpio until the 4th, when it enters Sagittarius.
The Sun is in Scorpio from October 22-November 21. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire.” Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Superficiality simply will not do with the Sun in Scorpio–we want to get to the bottom of matters. Mediocrity does not satisfy either. All that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed interests us. In Libra, we strived towards equality and fairness. Scorpio, however, instinctively believes that life simply isn’t fair.
Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense. It can be an immensely healing and transformative energy. Jealousy, vindictiveness, beating a dead horse, and manipulative are some of the more negative expressions of Scorpio.
We are more likely to prosper through strategy and knowing the value of keeping some things to ourselves at the right times. Efforts to repurpose, recycle, salvage, and transform can be successful. We’re especially successful at organizing, researching, investigating, and analyzing.
While we can be quite controlled with effort, there is some inclination to extremism. We can be drawn to challenges and crises, and we feel compelled to heal, fix, and direct or manage.
Mercury is in Sagittarius from October 29-November 18 and later, from December 11, 2025-January 1, 2026 [Mercury transits Sagittarius in two parts this year due to Mercury’s retrograde from November 9-29 that begins in Sagittarius and ends in Scorpio]. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. We seek ideals, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us most now. However, we are not always very precise under this influence.
We’re more inclined to ask questions and seek answers during this forward-looking cycle. We might often wax philosophical, and we enjoy wrapping our minds around new concepts and ideas. Still, the details are not as interesting to us now, as we prefer to envision the big picture.
On the downside, we can be inconsistent and lack attention to details. While frank and open, we can also be tactless during this period. We’re generous with our communications and input, and we’re humorous and friendly at this time.
Venus is in Libra from October 13-November 6. We favor charm over assertiveness to get what we want during this cycle. Usually quite willing to negotiate and compromise, we can be very obliging with others. We’re also very idealistic about love, and we seek intellectual peers. Although Venus in Libra is very relationship-focused, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We prefer things are done the “right” way, and aggressive or uncouth behavior turns us off.
The shadow expression of this position includes over-dependence and superficiality. To avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to partners while privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so.
While Venus is in Libra, we are more artistically inclined or seek balance in our personal environment. This cycle is excellent for promoting cooperation, harmony, mutually beneficial connections, and fairness. We are gentle but firm, and we’re skilled at mediation.
We’re more likely to prosper during this cycle in partnership, through one-to-one associations, such as counseling, or in fields related to harmony, relationships, beauty, design, and the law. We’re not fond of out-and-out competition or aggressive pursuit, preferring win-win situations, hands down. We attract things to us and appeal to others gently and kindly. Equality and politeness are important now, and we despise hurting others’ feelings.
Venus is in Scorpio from November 6-30. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with Venus in Scorpio. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special–contact that breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. It’s a highly emotional position for Venus, and it’s passionate energy.
Our relationships are immensely important to us, and we may even feel that they consume us. In fact, we tend to want to be consumed by them! Our drive is toward intense closeness, but blind faith in our partners is extremely hard for us now. Fears of being too vulnerable or of giving up our own power to others are strong. Scorpio is an “all or nothing” energy, and relationships tend to be somewhat of a rollercoaster ride as a result. Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can compel us to create crises to feel alive and vital.
Similarly, during this Venus-in-Scorpio cycle, we seek or gravitate to absorbing, deeply engaging, dramatic pleasures, activities, projects, and art. Things that are profound, disturbing, mysterious, or unusual can be more appealing now.
This can be a good time for finances, especially when working with others’ talents or resources, whether as an agent, supporter, or partner.
Mars is in Scorpio from September 22-November 4. In Scorpio, Mars is driven and focused on getting what it wants. We are persevering, single-minded, and strong. The desire to experience our emotional depths, as well as the urge to penetrate the surface of life in order to explore deeper levels of existence, is powerful. We are fascinated with what others tend to repress, and are drawn to experiencing and understanding these things.
We are less inclined to avoid important issues now. In some ways, we are attracted to crisis, as we see crisis as transformative and emotionally exciting. We would rather feel extreme emotions than nothing at all, as mediocrity or the “middle road” is felt to be unsatisfying.
Mars is in Sagittarius from November 4-December 15. With a Sagittarius Mars, our actions are motivated by our ideals. We are bothered by routine, quickly becoming restless if we feel confined. Our love of adventure and of conquest is strong–this is the position of wanderlust. We start projects or challenges with gusto, although we may tend to abandon them rather quickly. This may be because we set our sights too high! There is a tendency to jump in and think about it later. Part of us resists directions, instructions, and planning ahead.
We are spontaneous, direct, and passionate about our beliefs with Mars in Sagittarius. It’s a playful, fun-loving, and optimistic energy. We have strong morals, and we’re champions for the truth. We’re also ready for a hearty debate. Given the space to find our own way, we can move mountains. In fact, we enjoy stretching our limits. It’s an inspiring, forward-looking period when we follow our hearts and positive visions of the future.

Jupiter is in Cancer.
Jupiter began its transit of Cancer on June 9th, 2025, and will continue its visit to the sign until June 30th, 2026. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Cancer.

Saturn is in Pisces. Saturn was in Aries from May 24th, 2025 to September 1st, 2025, and will be in Aries again from February 13th, 2026, to April 12th, 2028. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aries. Saturn isn’t yet completely done with its transit of Pisces. Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and currently, from Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Uranus is in Gemini until the 7th, when it returns to Taurus.
Uranus is in Gemini from July 7th to November 7th, 2025, from April 25, 2026, to August 3, 2032, and then from December 12, 2032, to May 22, 2033. Read about Uranus in Gemini in its calendar page.
Uranus will have more work to do in the sign of Taurus from November 7th, 2025, to April 25th, 2026. Uranus began in Taurus in 2018/2019. During this cycle, we approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.

Pluto is in Aquarius. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Note that Pluto finally completed its journey through Capricorn on November 19th, 2024, from which time Pluto stays in Aquarius for many years to come.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Libra from October 13 to November 6.
Venus is in Scorpio from November 6 to 30. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with Venus in Scorpio. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special–contact that breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. This is a highly emotional position for Venus. It is a passionate, sensual, and intense energy.
Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can compel us to create crises in order to feel alive and vital. If a relationship becomes too settled or predictable, we may crave more intensity and catalytic experience. Jealousies, fears of betrayal, and power games are the shadow side of Venus in Scorpio.
We may easily become obsessed with a fear that our partners might be betraying us, or that they are not as consumed by and dedicated to the relationship as us. This can lead us to try to uncover the “truth”, reading too many negative possibilities in our partners’ actions and words.
This week: On Sunday, November 2nd, we can find several little things wrong with our relationships, or there can be some awkward energy in our interactions. In fact, we can be commitment-phobic. We could be questioning our situation or others. However, our interactions can open up soft spots or trigger sensitive issues, which can help us understand ourselves and others more deeply. It’s a time for identifying vulnerable areas, perhaps through controversy or painful experiences and truths. We could also be going overboard as we seek more meaning or new horizons.
On Monday, we may have a hard time sealing the deal. Timing and confidence may be off.
On Thursday, we can be uncertain how to integrate our needs for companionship with the desire to be free or independent. Feeling and expressing our affections can be unnatural, choppy, or awkward, as we can experience vague discontent, restlessness, or doubts.
On Friday, envy, jealousy, and possessiveness can enter the picture if we let fear drive our behavior. Insecurities about not being “in the know” or fears of having the rug pulled from under our feet in our relationships can be stimulated. It might be difficult to get close to one another under these conditions, but with self-honesty, it can be a good time to get in touch with our vulnerability.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Libra As this new cycle takes hold in your life, romance and social interaction take on a greater importance for you. Harmonious ties to others are what you yearn for; refinement and elegance are what you seek. The ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty – these are some of the things that quicken your pulse now.
Venus in Scorpio This is way beyond love, all the way to obsession – that’s the nature of the cycle that now takes hold in your life. We’re not talking just lukewarm WANT here; we’re talking red-hot GOT TO HAVE! Passion, jealousy, possession: these are the kinds of experiences that can flow from the intensity that courses through you at one level or another now – voracious.
Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus October 25-26. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness. A desire to experiment in the romance department may be fleeting and ultimately unsatisfying or frustrating.
Venus opposition Chiron November 1-2. Love cannot be forced. This is not a commitment-friendly transit, as we may feel alienated for no apparent reason and unwilling to give of ourselves. Our relationships may open up some inner wound.
Venus square Jupiter November 2. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships. As well, take what your partner says with a grain of salt. There is no malicious intent involved, but feelings of elation can cloud our judgment, and we can promise more than we can deliver.
Venus quincunx Saturn November 3. A feeling that we may not be able to express our affections, or that our affections will not be received well, can undermine us in our relationships. Fear of rejection, emotional distancing, and over-sensitivity.
Venus quincunx Neptune November 6. Idealism and disappointments in love. Avoid becoming blinded by what you want to see, rather than what really is. Doubts about love.
Venus quincunx Uranus November 6. Impulsive spending, peculiar attractions, fear of commitment, freedom vs. intimacy issues. We might question whether we need more excitement in our relationships, or whether we need freedom from them; yet we don’t feel confident enough to rock the boat.
Venus square Pluto November 7. Intense passions, but there’s a hidden agenda. Jealousy and possessiveness are high, in direct proportion to fear of losing partnership. Avoid starting a new relationship at this time, because it can be characterized by these energies.
Venus semi-sextile Mars November 9. We might struggle with whether to take a direct or indirect approach to get what we want. In truth, we may be better off recognizing that it doesn’t have to be one way or the other–a combination would be ideal, or else the see-sawing can be confusing.
Venus semi-sextile Mercury November 11. It may be all too easy to say things we don’t mean/feel.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, November 2nd, from 10:15 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Neptune), until the Moon enters Aries at 10:39 AM EST.
VOC on Tuesday, November 4th, from 6:22 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Taurus at 11:16 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Thursday, November 6th, from 9:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Neptune), until the Moon enters Gemini at 10:21 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Saturday, November 8th, from 9:33 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Cancer at 10:07 AM EST.
November 2025
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 5th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, although with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). The Moon is waning after the Full Moon on the 5th, which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, also with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from Wednesday, November 5th, at approximately 9:30 AM EST, until Thursday, November 6th, at approximately 9:45 AM EST, while the Moon is in Taurus.
Another window begins on Saturday, November 8th, at approximately 10:10 AM EST, until Monday, November 10th, at approximately 12:20 PM EST, while the Moon is in Cancer. Do note that Mercury turns retrograde during this period, however.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
![]()
![]()
Venus opposition Chiron. Disappointments in love relationships can occur now as we focus on the differences and weaknesses rather than the strong points. We are more aware, and possibly resentful of, imbalances in our relationships. We are less open to romantic feelings and more insecure about whether our affections will be returned.
![]()
![]()
Sun sesquiquadrate Saturn. It’s hard to satisfy the ego today. We feel blocked by circumstances or others. It’s too easy to feel discouraged, but discouragement is a time waster. Gratitude isn’t forthcoming right now, so it’s best to wait it out rather than waste energy letting it get to you.
![]()
![]()
Venus square Jupiter. Feelings of elation in love or with regards to the pleasures of life can lead us to overdo, overindulge, overspend, and overstate our feelings. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. We may also feel lazy and we are inclined to procrastinate.
![]()
![]()
Venus quincunx Saturn. We are extra sensitive, but it can be difficult to know why. Anxiety may overcome us when we wish to express our affections or social urges, and this hesitation can express itself through inhibitions and emotional distancing.
![]()
![]()
Mars trine Neptune. We act on our intuition now, sexual fantasies are strong, we strive towards all that is boundless, and our creative impulses are potent. We are less tense and driven, and more relaxed. “What will be, will be” is the attitude now. Inspiration can be found now. This transit favors dancing, swimming, photography, arts, and entertainment.
![]()
![]()
Mars opposition Uranus. This can be a time of much restlessness, rebellion, and impatience. We have a tendency to take risks and to act on sudden impulses without considering consequences. We assert our wills and individuality powerfully, and we are ready to fight for freedom. There may be changes in work schedules, or life’s circumstances could challenge us in such a way that we need to change our goals or actions. This can also be a time when we tend to resist others and challenge them if they are trying to hold us back. Arguments and confrontations are likely. Technology may be a source of irritation, electrical appliances may break down or not work up to par. Energy fluctuates now. Anger can erupt seemingly from nowhere. If we aren’t too rash or impulsive, we might be able to free ourselves from restrictive circumstances. We could also have more courage than usual to do things that break the routine, and confrontations engaged in now could clear the air and help us to move forward.
![]()
![]()
Mars sextile Pluto. We are able to successfully focus on our goals, to take decisive action, and to go after what we want without stepping on others’ toes under this influence.
![]()
![]()
Venus quincunx Neptune. Under this influence, we are apt to see what we want to see, rather than what actually is, when it comes to both financial affairs and affairs of the heart. Still, we tend to doubt our perceptions of perfection. The end result is a feeling of insecurity on romantic and social levels. Avoid making large purchases and commitments at this time.
![]()
![]()
Sun sesquiquadrate Neptune. Our willpower is low as we stray from our goals and temporarily lose focus. It’s difficult to formulate — or stick to — clear goals during this transit. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters that require straightforward, factual thinking today. It can be difficult knowing where or how to direct our willpower under this influence. It’s also a challenge knowing where we stand with others. Avoid such things as scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time.
![]()
![]()
Venus quincunx Uranus. Impulsive spending, peculiar attractions, fear of commitment, and freedom vs. intimacy issues may be themes now. We might question whether we need more excitement in our relationships (or leisure activities), or whether we need freedom from them; yet we don’t feel confident enough to rock the boat.
![]()
![]()
Venus square Pluto. Intense passions are stirring, but there’s a hidden agenda. Feelings of jealousy and possessiveness run high, in direct proportion to fear of losing someone or something. Social interactions may be intense or could provoke intense feelings. Resentments and issues that have been brewing in a close relationship come to the surface, disrupting the peace. All of our relationships intensify, and people can be more compulsive and demanding. This is an “all or nothing” energy. Manipulative behavior, fear of betrayal, and power struggles are possible.

NOVEMBER 2
Venus forms a square to Jupiter, and there can be misjudgments or overblown expectations, especially regarding our feelings, pleasures, and desires.
This transit exaggerates things, leading us to overdo or overstate our feelings. However, if we keep this in check, it can be helpful for entertaining new ideas and approaches related to entertainment, money, and love. The Sun’s sesquiquadrate with Saturn suggests some cautiousness in other areas of life. We could feel confined or restricted regarding our plans and self-expression until we work out the tension.
The Moon is void today from 10:15 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Neptune), until the Moon enters Aries at 10:39 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 3
The Venus-Saturn quincunx this morning can make it difficult to see our responsibilities to others clearly, leading to either under- or overestimation. It’s not an ideal time to make decisions about value, money, or relationship matters.
However, as the day advances, we benefit from a Mars-Neptune trine, which opens us to alternative and possibly meandering paths. It’s good for feeling inspired, letting go of anger, and softening our dispositions. Creative arts, particularly physical ones, are in favor. With this influence, it’s better to wind down or act on our visions, dreams, and compassion. We’re looking for meaning in our experiences and ready to believe we can make our dreams come true. It’s also a time to bring more imagination to what we do. We are not inclined to follow rigid rules, directions, or schedules; instead, we favor following our intuition, inner guidance, and gut feelings.
With Chiron and Vesta forming a trine, we might tackle working through complex problems. It’s a strong time to tap into our inner genius or personal potential and put it to work for us. We can be determined to take better care of ourselves, and discoveries made now can fuel or reignite our motivation to pursue a particular path.
NOVEMBER 4
The Moon is void from 6:22 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Taurus at 11:16 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 5
NOVEMBER 6
The Moon is void from 9:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Neptune), until the Moon enters Gemini at 10:21 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 7
NOVEMBER 8
The Moon is void from 9:33 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Cancer at 10:07 AM EST.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Pisces
![]()
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
When the Moon is in Aries

We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
When the Moon is in Taurus
![]()
We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses." Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.
While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.
When the Moon is in Gemini
![]()
Our basic instinct is to communicate, think, and learn under the influence of Moon in Gemini. We are motivated by a desire for variety and by an instinctive curiosity. The Moon in Gemini is light-hearted, breezy, spirited, and curious, but it can also be restless and fickle.
The Moon in Gemini generally favors the following activities: Mental and communicative actions, and more than one activity at once. Reading, learning, letters and emails, errands, writing, teaching, making connections, cafes, light and airy meetings, short trips.
When the Moon is in Cancer
![]()
The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence. The Moon feels right at home in the sign of Cancer, as it rules the sign. This Moon position has much healing potential. Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.
The Moon in Cancer generally favors the following activities: Domestic activities, those that involve awareness of personal needs. Home decor, family get-togethers.

THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Scorpio Who owes what, who owns what, and who decides these things: these are some of the major issues for you at the dawn of the cycle that now begins in your life. The only thing we really own is our consciousness; the only master who is never overthrown is oneself. These are lessons best learned early in this cycle. Master them, and you master everything. Dodge these issues, and the great strength that could be yours will remain just out of reach. Understanding inner motivations, seeing through to the core: that’s your real path of power and enlightenment now.
Mercury in Sagittarius A time of expanding your mental horizons is at hand. Religion, philosophy, law, and education are some of the things that may have special importance for you now. Being in touch with faraway people and places satisfies an intellectual yearning – curiosity will take you anywhere and maybe everywhere.
Mars in Scorpio Tear it down and build it up again, reach in and pluck out the offending element: that’s what the new cycle you have entered is like. Power becomes a compelling idea, perhaps even an aphrodisiac – and you’ve got a stronger than usual supply of it now. Use it, don’t abuse it – or you might find that it’s a two-edged sword!
Mars in Sagittarius Ideology is a keynote of the new phase you have begun – the power of ideas and the power they wield over people. Religious, cultural, or philosophical controversies and crusades have a way of stirring your blood. Travel and adventure are compelling temptations as you dare to test your mettle and stretch your horizons.
Jupiter in Cancer Taking care of yourself and all that’s yours becomes a high priority in your life now. Security, setting down roots, establishing your ties with the past: these things are among the articles of faith that guide you. This is often a sign of growth in all things connected with family and property (such as real estate).
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Gemini New ideas, new input, and new ways of exchanging these things with others – all these and more become increasingly important factor in your life now, as you enter into a new phase. This is a period of enhanced mental activity, a nonstop stream of consciousness, of trying out new concepts and perspectives.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Aquarius Reform, revolution, a rejection of the past and a focus on the future: these are the signatures of the new phase now beginning in your life. Tradition becomes irrelevant, and the conventional wisdom is revealed as dogma or outright nonsense – and what’s the difference, really? Radical changes in all things social and intellectual.

(Times are Eastern)

This Week’s Aspects

Mars sextile Pluto. We are able to successfully focus on our goals, to take decisive action, and to go after what we want without stepping on others’ toes under this influence.

![]()
