Jupiter square Uranus and sextile Chiron in January. These aspects can produce some rebellion and a strong desire to break free from limiting circumstances. While we should watch for abrupt moves, it’s also a good time to open our minds to new methods.

There can be clashes or obstacles involved in pursuing your intimate world versus your social life. Otherwise, it’s a strong period for opening yourself up to others and for feeling more confident about your emotional depths. This is a period when you can quite successfully purge yourself of some of your inner demons, guilt, and buried psychological problems.

Jupiter is where you are currently finding your joy, and at this time, it’s in your intimate world. Erratic people, surprising events, or unpredictability in your social life, with associates, or with business income can be disruptive to this oasis.

Jupiter trine the North Node of the Moon in February and Saturn trine North Node in April. These aspects increase our willingness to grow, learn, improve, and develop, moving past our fears. We are ready to embrace new methods and attitudes, leaving behind those no longer serving our growth. Our conscience is well-developed. We’re more inclined than usual to believe in the power of the group and of words to convey our message.

Saturn square Uranus from February to December. Our needs for freedom and spontaneity seem to clash with a need for structure and stability. Rules and limitations are hard to tolerate, but without some lines drawn, life feels too chaotic. Attempts to assert our individuality, freedom, and originality tend to undermine our feeling of groundedness and security. Yet, we are not satisfied when we conform. There may be sudden and unexpected twists that force us to do something different or free ourselves from old habits.

For Cancer, challenges can emerge as your social life is a little more eclectic (or unreliable) and you’re getting serious about your inner world or intimate life. Saturn sextile Chiron from February to November. This transit helps us feel competent, effective, and secure. We have a strong sense of both tradition and innovation. We are also more able to express our unique qualities or to go our own way, without stirring up controversy if we act in a professional, respectful manner. There’s no need for show-boating with this aspect. With humility and realism, the chances of success increase.

For Cancer, during this same timeline, this transit helps boost your feelings of responsibility, your career, or your sense of direction. As you pay more attention to your duties, you feel more confident in yourself and your profession or direction. You may very well make an important commitment or form a powerful alliance or attachment. You can benefit from some self-discipline, and it’s an important time for positive lifestyle changes.

Sun conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius on the day of a Full Moon in Leo. This influence is in effect from January 26-28. It’s an opportunity period for your intimate or inner world. Your money goals could prompt you to want to make improvements in the world of attachments, debts, and sharing.

In the first two-and-a-half weeks of February, the sign of Aquarius is in powerful emphasis. A high number of points occupy the sign of Aquarius at this time, including the Moon on the 10-12. The New Moon on February 11th pulls all of this together. This brings an unusual amount of cosmic activity to your sharing sector. Activities, significant events, and opportunities can emerge related to your financial or intimate status.

With so many influences in the sign of Aquarius, you have more power to direct your private or love life, attachments, self-empowerment, and financial obligations.

Venus is retrograde from December 19th. Venus is retrograde in the sign of Capricorn from December 19th, 2021, to January 29, 2022.

For all, love, finance, and pleasure matters are not straightforward during this period–it’s a time to review our attitudes, feelings, and satisfaction levels rather than forge ahead boldly into new love relationships or financial projects. It may be best to avoid any major decisions about love (and finances) during this cycle.

While Venus is retrograde for these six weeks, people are a little more cautious and tight-fisted when it comes to generosity with their heart and their money!

Because this Venus retrograde cycle occurs in your partnership sector, it can be a slow period for relationships of the one-on-one variety. You could be turning to your past rather than looking ahead to your future. Karmic circumstances are occurring now. Nevertheless, you have plenty of warm attention on your close partnerships and loads of time to work things out after this retrograde phase.

New Moon in Capricorn on January 13th

This New Moon aligns closely with Pluto. It occurs at the time of a Uranus station, just before it turns direct. Otherwise, all major planets are direct. We’re in good shape for a determined focus on Capricorn-ruled areas of our charts/lives. For you, Cancer, this is the partnership sector of your solar chart. New beginnings and approaches are about relationships and general balance in your life.

Full Moon in Leo on January 28th

The Sun is between Jupiter and Saturn and quite tightly aligned with Jupiter at the time of this Full Moon. This lunation forms a challenging square with Mars and Uranus. (Saturn is applying to a square to Uranus, while both Jupiter and Mars are separating from their conjunctions). All major bodies are direct!

For Cancer, this Full Moon brings heightened emotions surrounding ownership, talents, self-worth, and finances. Epiphanies now can bring you closer to how you feel about a situation. There can be a settlement of money or attention to something that you owe now. Be moderate in your expectations, but also in what you take on, as you don’t need to commit to more than you can handle. You might discover something about a relationship or your inner workings that makes you feel more confident about the future.

New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th

At the time of this wonderful New Moon, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn are all in the sign of Aquarius!

Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are conjunct around the time of this New Moon, also in Aquarius but only very widely conjunct the New Moon. This New Moon is square Mars. Major planets on one side of the chart within two planets forming a trine (a wedge pattern) suggesting a great concentration of focus. It can be difficult to see the other side of the coin, but it’s a good time to put effort into something special. It’s time to investigate and explore new ideas, trends, and technologies.

This is a powerful time for focusing on a special project. We should watch for pushing something too hard, however. Consider that Mercury is retrograde at this time.

For Cancers, all of this is going down in your intimacy sector. It’s a powerful time for new beginnings related to your dependencies, support matters, intimate life, shared assets, and in-depth or passion projects and connections. It’s an incredible focus on one or more of these areas of life, and it’s an especially creative one. However, it’s important to take things one step at a time, even if it feels you must rush.

For Cancer, this eclipse is good for motivating you to make improvements. Work, health, and routines or habits come into strong focus now. There can be a bit of a scramble to get your life into better working order, and the benefits of doing so are great. For Cancer, this Solar Eclipse challenges you to start fresh with your attitude toward downtime, rest, recuperation, and attention to emotional or mental health. Watch, however, for the traps of escapism and avoidance which can lead to difficulties relaxing, unwinding, and perhaps sleeping, as well as a general sense that you’re behind or out of the loop.

The Blue Moon. It’s the second Full Moon in Aquarius this year, and it occurs in the last degree of the sign, pointing to a turning point.

New Moon in Virgo on September 6th

Widely opposite Neptune, but closely (partile) trine Uranus. Mars is trine Pluto.

For Cancer, this New Moon is about starting fresh on a mental level, with communications projects or studies, with mobility, or regarding a personal interest. Cancer is an emotional Water sign but is also of a take-charge Cardinal nature, so you fully appreciate the ability to connect with your spirit and imagination while keeping your feet on the ground.

The year 2021 is more about keeping your feet on the ground and making adjustments than it is about inspiration. Still, it feels good that Saturn has phased out of its opposition to your sign, lifting a lot of pressure from your sign. Uranus continues to support you this year.

Areas of change and occasional disruption for you in 2021 tend to be friendships, partnerships, and career. Even so, there is certainly less pressure on partnerships.

This is a powerful year for your intimate world, sense of personal empowerment, and financial sharing. Go big in these areas, but know your limits!

Until May 13th, and then from July 28th to December 28th, Jupiter continues to move through your solar eighth house. During this cycle, you may see significant benefits in any of the areas ruled by the eighth house - joint finances, shared resources, loans, taxes, sexuality, intimacy, healing, personal transformation, research, investigation, and psychological matters. This is a time of increased psychological understanding, intimacy, and perhaps the accumulation of wealth if you manage your resources well. This is an excellent time to work on financial planning and strategy. You are more capable of helping friends and loved ones who are dealing with a crisis - you can be leaned upon. At the same time, others tend to support you more readily. You can benefit greatly from employing strategy in your life in general. This is a fabulous time for seeing or discovering the value of patience and planning. Your ability to understand and accept anything that is deep in meaning or significant is enhanced now, and you instinctively realize that the path to healing is to face your fears. Any type of in-depth study or research is likely to go well. In some cases, a significant tax refund, inheritance, inheritance, or other such benefits might arrive during this transit. Financial gains may come through a partnership, or there may be an increase in a spouse's income. Gifts, inheritance, loans, and other forms of financial support are possible now. Sensual or intimate opportunities are likely to abound, or your focus on one partner becomes more expansive, warm, and intimate. This could be a time of purging yourself of literal or psychic "junk," as there is a sense that de-cluttering your life will be beneficial to your emotional well-being. Benefits can come through jointly held resources, loans, or taxes. These positive circumstances won't necessarily fall into your lap and are unlikely to happen all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. The most favorable periods for these matters occur while Jupiter is in direct motion in your solar eighth house from January 1-May 13, and from October 18-December 28.

From May 13th to July 28th, and then from December 28th forward, Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion, is moving through your solar ninth house. During this cycle, you may have opportunities to travel (if appropriate), study, go abroad, expand your horizons, and connect with people of diverse and interesting backgrounds. You are more intellectually curious now, and academic pursuits can both benefit you and run exceptionally smoothly during this cycle. Business dealings, particularly long-distance ones and those involving publicity and promotion, are likely to be profitable now. Legal matters might also work in your favor, or long-standing legal problems might now be ironed out. Some of you will be seeking legal advice and find it especially helpful now. A more faithful attitude towards life, in general, is likely now—you tend to feel that everything will work out in the end. Authors might get published now, receive good reviews, or they could significantly expand their audience. Travel is possible now (if advisable), whether it's business or personal. Educational opportunities expand your horizons. Teaching and learning are favored. Writing and studying flow more naturally. This is also an excellent period for positive dealings with in-laws! You might choose to learn a new language or take on other studies. This is an exceptionally strong placement for Jupiter. You're considerably more adventurous and outgoing now.

Saturn transits your solar eighth house this year. This influence only just got started last year and is now revving up.

Saturn asks us to follow at least some of the rules, be responsible, and pick up our socks wherever he's found in the chart. Saturn spends approximately 2-1/2 years in a sign. In your solar eighth house now, this is a period when getting what you want from others can be challenging, as you ultimately are learning to rely on yourself. You are likely to be more sensitive to what appear to be outer world pressures that force you to examine some of your deepest desires and attachments. These include your sexual relationships, your finances (especially with regards to debts and shared finances/support), and your need for control. You may face some difficulties satisfying your libido and/or encounter problems with intimacy. These pressures are "designed" to make you more aware of your desire nature, and what exactly it is you truly want.

Dissatisfaction and frustrations getting what you want, especially concerning relationships with others and your resources, often characterize the first part of the transit. You may discover that previous methods of controlling your environment and the people in your life are just not as effective anymore. You may not even be aware exactly how you have been employing power and control before this transit.

Saturn's presence in this sector of your chart also urges you to organize your finances. On a psychological level, you face some of your fears that are compulsive—those concerns that lead you to believe you need certain things to survive. Taxes might be an issue during this period.
