This can be an important transition year for you, dear Pisces. Your relationships take on a less pressured, more joyful note in 2021. There is a stronger focus on the background, your private life, and renewal or healing.
Saturn spends the year (and beyond) in your solar twelfth house, and there can be a lot of work done behind the scenes. For much of 2021, Jupiter is in the same area of your chart, and this is an introspective period. While supporting others or problems in your private time can be draining at times, this can be an important time for facing fears and letting go of old attachments.
You are building strength and balance in 2021. It would benefit you to take the time to learn what it is you truly want so that when Jupiter emerges in your chart from mid-May to July 28th, you’re in an even more fabulous position to move forward. You have fantastic support for your efforts to look within and understand your innermost needs.
Jupiter helps you recognize the benefits and joy of reflection, private moments, and putting an end to outdated attitudes or situations in your life. Jupiter enters your sign on May 13th but stays there only briefly (until July 28th) before backing up to complete its transit of Aquarius. From December 28th forward, Jupiter re-emerges in Pisces.

Jupiter square Uranus and sextile Chiron in January. These aspects can produce some rebellion and a strong desire to break free from limiting circumstances. While we should watch for abrupt moves, it’s also a good time to open our minds to new methods.
For Pisces, the nervous Jupiter-Uranus square can aggravate some indecision or tension in your life but avoid the temptation to jump into decisions blindly. A new vision of your future can excite you now, and the details will have to follow later. You can experience a real surge of motivation to resume or take on new projects.
Consider that your interests are plenty, but your time is limited! Watch for putting so much pressure on yourself to get something done that you end up impatient and frustrated. Expecting instant results can bring you down and take energy away from what you’re doing.
As well, avoid taking on something new to avoid making a tough choice or decision. If you’re fearful of underperforming, for example, you may leave a project or endeavor unfinished to pursue something else, which can lead to a lot of waste and possibly guilt.
There can be times when you feel a little scattered or when dabbling can leave you feeling overwhelmed. Concentration and focus are not your strong suits at this time. While you’re not typically a person who blurts things out too quickly, this can be a theme now! Be sure you make words work for instead of against you.
While you’re working on answering to your intuition, you may not always have a lot of faith in your instincts, often overthinking things. Jupiter trine the North Node of the Moon in February and Saturn trine North Node in April. These aspects increase our willingness to grow, learn, improve, and develop, moving past our fears. We are ready to embrace new methods and attitudes, leaving behind those no longer serving our growth. Our conscience is well-developed. We’re more inclined than usual to believe in the power of the group and of words to convey our message.
It’s a fine time for publishing, community involvement, teaching, guiding, and learning. Harmonizing through shared ideas and ideals can figure very strongly at this time.
Saturn square Uranus from February to December. Our needs for freedom and spontaneity seem to clash with a need for structure and stability. Rules and limitations are hard to tolerate, but without some lines drawn, life feels too chaotic. Attempts to assert our individuality, freedom, and originality tend to undermine our feeling of groundedness and security. Yet, we are not satisfied when we conform. There may be sudden and unexpected twists that force us to do something different or free ourselves from old habits.
For Pisces, you might deal with vague fears and insecurities that undermine your confidence in your mental output. Decision-making can suffer as a result. You are not always completely sure what to believe or trust. Watch that fear of letting others in or the discovery of past mistakes doesn’t interfere with communicating and connecting freely. Saturn sextile Chiron from February to November. This transit helps us feel competent, effective, and secure. We have a strong sense of both tradition and innovation. We are also more able to express our unique qualities or to go our own way, without stirring up controversy if we act in a professional, respectful manner. There’s no need for show-boating with this aspect. With humility and realism, the chances of success increase.
For Pisces, there is particularly good support for these efforts. You can be working on a money-making idea or on a boost to your sense of self-worth or self-esteem with great success. You’re learning to use your resources more effectively. Working on healing your fear of loss of your resources can be highly useful at this time.
Other influences:
Sun conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius on the day of a Full Moon in Leo. This influence is in effect from January 26-28. A lot is going on behind the scenes or under the hood. You’re connecting with an important inner spiritual search and a better relationship with yourself from the inside out. You might come to a fuller understanding of an old problem.
In the first two-and-a-half weeks of February, the sign of Aquarius is in powerful emphasis. A high number of points occupy the sign of Aquarius at this time, including the Moon on the 10-12. The New Moon on February 11th pulls all of this together.
This unusual amount of cosmic activity in your privacy and soul sector suggests a period of clearing up elements of the past that are getting in the way of your present and future. This New Moon aligns closely with Pluto. It occurs at the time of a Uranus station, just before it turns direct. Otherwise, all major planets are direct. We’re in good shape for a determined focus on Capricorn-ruled areas of our charts/lives. For Pisces, new beginnings relate to friendship, networking, social life, and happiness goals.
Full Moon in Leo on January 28th
The Sun is between Jupiter and Saturn and quite tightly aligned with Jupiter at the time of this Full Moon. This lunation forms a challenging square with Mars and Uranus. (Saturn is applying to a square to Uranus, while both Jupiter and Mars are separating from their conjunctions). All major bodies are direct!
For Pisces, this Full Moon awakens a need for better routines and health. The motivation to improve your life and to make lifestyle changes is powerful, indeed, since it’s coming from deep within. Blockages that come to light can be revealing, if raw, but this lunation is particularly useful for motivating you to take action on your feelings and epiphanies. For best results, avoid exaggeration and embrace moderation.
New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th
At the time of this wonderful New Moon, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn are all in the sign of Aquarius!
Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are conjunct around the time of this New Moon, also in Aquarius but only very widely conjunct the New Moon. This New Moon is square Mars. Major planets on one side of the chart within two planets forming a trine (a wedge pattern) suggesting a great concentration of focus. It can be difficult to see the other side of the coin, but it’s a good time to put effort into something special. It’s time to investigate and explore new ideas, trends, and technologies.
This is a powerful time for focusing on a special project. We should watch for pushing something too hard, however. Consider that Mercury is retrograde at this time.
For Pisces, everything seems to be going on underneath the surface of things or behind the scenes. The Sturgeon Moon. The Moon can feel a little stuck as it’s between Pluto and Saturn. Otherwise, it’s a period of discovering our need for others or for more community involvement.
For Pisces, this first Full Moon in Aquarius occurs in your privacy sector. While there is typically only one Full Moon in a sign per year, in 2021, there are two! This is the first, and the second will occur on August 22nd. You may have been overworked in recent days, and now, you become powerfully aware of the need for a good rest or recuperation. Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on November 19th
This umbral Lunar Eclipse, the Frost Moon, harmonizes with Pluto and squares Jupiter. It’s the first in a set of eclipses that occur along the Taurus-Scorpio axis (the last will happen in October 2023).
For Pisces, you can experience a revelation of sorts. A writing or learning project can come to a turning point, and there can be publicity or promotion playing a significant role in your life now, or stress over a looming deadline.
