Romance & Relationship Report
Daily Trends
The FULL MOON occurs on Saturday, October 31st, 2020, at 10:49 AM EDT.
On Saturday morning, a Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Scorpio forms an opposition to the Moon in Taurus. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
Full Moons always pit opposite signs of the zodiac against each other. They also invite us to work to achieve a balance between the opposing energies.
The contrast between earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus and emotional, transformative, crisis-oriented Scorpio comes full bloom. The Moon in Taurus wants us to find emotional fulfillment through the simple, tangible things in life, while the Scorpio Sun draws our attention to complexities, intangibles, and mysteries.
The Full Moon illuminates this conflict between form (Taurus) and transformation (Scorpio), and between collecting (Taurus) and sharing (Scorpio).
This is a passionate and creative Full Moon, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences. Intimate relationship matters, such as personal comfort levels and values and sexuality, figure prominently now.
The Moon aligns very tightly with Uranus at the time of this lunation, adding an element of surprise to our feelings and revelations. The desire to experience something new, exciting, and bold can figure strongly.
There can be a strong urge–or need–to break free from old patterns in our relationships.

This week: The Sun is in Scorpio; Mercury is in Scorpio until October 27th when it returns to Libra; Venus is in Virgo until October 27th when it enters Libra; Mars is in Aries.
The Sun is in Scorpio from October 22-November 21. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire.” Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Superficiality simply will not do with the Sun in Scorpio. We have the desire to get to the bottom of matters. Mediocrity does not satisfy either. All that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed interests us. In Libra, we strived towards equality and fairness. Scorpio, however, instinctively believes that life simply isn’t fair. Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense. It can be an immensely healing and transformative energy. Jealousy, vindictiveness, beating a dead horse, and manipulative are some of the more negative expressions of Scorpio.
Mercury is in Scorpio from September 27-October 27 and November 10-December 1. [Note that retrograde Mercury re-enters Libra on October 27th. Mercury spends longer than usual in Scorpio due to Mercury’s retrograde from October 13-November 3, although this Rx is partially spent in the sign Libra.] When Mercury is in Scorpio, our thoughts and communications are more probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and to arrive at fair solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover. We tend to probe, observe, and focus our thoughts under this influence. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. Our thoughts are profound. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations. Scorpio is extremely sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking is inclined to be one-track minded, focused, and even obsessive.
Mercury is in Libra from October 27-November 10. [Note that retrograde Mercury re-enters Libra on October 27th and continues its retrograde until November 3, but stays in Libra until November 10.] When Mercury is in Libra, we are diplomatic and friendly. During this cycle, we are able to bring a more rational approach to one-to-one relationships. It’s a good time to think about ways of improving our negotiation skills. In an attempt to see both sides of any given situation, Mercury in Libra can be a vacillating energy. It can be more challenging than usual to make quick decisions, as we can sit “on the fence.” We may too easily accommodate others’ opinions in order to keep the peace. In our negotiations, we don’t want to assert ourselves in such a way as to appear to be the “bad guy”. However, this is a good period for considering others’ points of view. We are more inclined to arrive at fair conclusions.
Venus is in Virgo from October 2-27. This is a time when we express our love through practical means and gestures–running errands, doing detail work, or just being there for our lovers. Love needs to make sense and have a purpose with Venus in Virgo. Virgo is an Earth sign, which is sensual but also quite practical. Besides our romantic natures, what we decide to buy and the types of entertainment we enjoy during this cycle are ruled by whether or not things make sense. We could easily feel guilty if we are too self-indulgent at this time. Rendering services to others can fill a need and can be an expression of love. The shadow side of this position is being overly critical of our partners, picky, or fretting.
Venus is in Libra from October 27-November 21. We are more inclined to employ charm than direct or assertive behavior to get what we want during this cycle. Although relationships mean everything to Venus in Libra, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We are very obliging with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. We can be incredibly idealistic about love. We prefer things are done the “right” way, and aggressive or uncouth behavior especially turns us off. The shadow side of this position is dependence, inconsistency, and superficiality. As we attempt to avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to our partners while privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so! It’s also a time when we are more artistically inclined. We tend to seek balance in our personal environment.
Mars is in Aries from June 27, 2020, to January 6, 2021. [This is longer than usual due to the retrograde of Mars from September 9-November 13, 2020.] Mars feels at home in one of the signs that it rules, Aries, and therefore its power is boosted. Our energy is spontaneous, forward-looking, and even courageous under this influence. Our competitive spirit is well-developed, and our goal is to win! We are active, single-minded, and confident. Our actions are direct–we instinctively find the fastest way to get from point A to point B. The shadow side of Mars in Aries is a tendency to be impatient, arrogant, impulsive, short-lived, unreflective, and self-centered.
Jupiter entered Capricorn on December 2nd, 2019, and will transit the sign until December 19th, 2020. Read more about the Jupiter in Capricorn transit.
Saturn has returned to the sign of Capricorn in retrograde motion (early July). In 2020, Saturn divides its time between the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius. Saturn transits Capricorn until March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here. Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July, 1, 2020, and then later, from December 17, 2020, to March 7, 2023. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aquarius.
Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus transits Taurus May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Virgo from October 2-27. This is a time when we express our love through practical means and gestures–running errands, doing detail work, or just “being there” for the ones we love. Essentially, we fuss over our partners, sometimes a little too much! Our availability and accessibility are signs of love. Love needs to make sense and have a purpose with Venus in Virgo.
Virgo is an Earth sign, which is sensual but also quite practical. We could quickly feel guilty if we are too indulgent during this cycle. We can be a little shy and prone to worry. We pick up on many different cues, attempting to analyze every detail of our lovers’ reactions and responses. We could worry ourselves sick agonizing over details! In the process, we can miss out on the bigger and perhaps more meaningful cues. As well, Virgo is a sign that can live very much in the mind in the middle of an experience, failing to enjoy the moment. Self-consciousness can get in the way of enjoyment. Rendering services to others can fill a need and can be an expression of love. This position’s shadow side happens when we’re overly critical of our partners, picky, or fretting.
Venus is in Libra from October 27-November 21. Venus rules Libra and thus is dignified in the sign. Venus feels right “at home” in Libra, where she seeks to balance and harmonize. With Venus in Libra, we can easily be in love with love. We are more comfortable with a close partner with whom we can seek to have a balanced relationship. We are more inclined to employ charm rather than aggressive behavior in order to get what we want. Although Venus in Libra virtually lives for relationships, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We are very obliging with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. We can be especially idealistic about love. We prefer things be done the “right” way, and are turned off by aggressive or uncouth behavior. The shadow side of this position is dependency, inconsistency, and superficiality. In an attempt to avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to our partners but privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so!
This week: On Tuesday, we should watch for misrepresenting what we feel. There can be a temporary disconnect between the heart and mind. On Saturday, the 31st, we can be commitment-phobic. Our interactions can open up soft spots or trigger sensitive issues, however, which can help us understand ourselves and others more deeply.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Virgo If it makes sense you love it, and if it doesn’t you feel guilty about it: that’s what it’s like now. Loving attention to details and a sense of satisfaction in doing what is right (especially with respect to your health) are some of the qualities that come to the fore at a time like this.
Venus in Libra As this new cycle takes hold in your life, romance and social interaction take on a greater importance for you. Harmonious ties to others are what you yearn for; refinement and elegance are what you seek. The ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty – these are some of the things that quicken your pulse now.
Venus square True North Node October 20. Social niceties go by the wayside, and we may be working at cross-purposes with our relationships or relationship goals. There can be a lack of agreement, dissatisfaction stirred up, and a sense that our relationships are preventing our growth.
Venus semi-square Mercury October 21. Communications between lovers may feel superficial or unsatisfying, and perhaps awkward. We may be especially sensitive to what’s being communicated now.
Venus trine Pluto October 21. Powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions. Relationships are intense and deep, but not draining.
Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus October 22. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness. A desire to experiment in the romance department may be fleeting and ultimately unsatisfying or frustrating.
Venus trine Saturn October 23-24. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. A new sense of realism and maturity in existing partnerships. Relationships begun under this influence possess a distinctly practical theme, almost as if the partnership is a business endeavor, and have much potential to last.
Venus semi-sextile Mercury October 27. It may be all too easy to say things we don’t mean/feel.
Venus opposition Chiron October 31-November 1. Love cannot be forced. This is not a commitment-friendly transit, as we may feel alienated for no apparent reason and unwilling to give of ourselves. Our relationships may open up some inner wound.
Venus quincunx Uranus November 3. Impulsive spending, peculiar attractions, fear of commitment, freedom vs. intimacy issues. We might question whether we need more excitement in our relationships, or whether we need freedom from them; yet we don’t feel confident enough to rock the boat.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Saturday, October 24th, from 5:55 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces the next day, Sunday, October 25th, at 5:19 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, October 27th, from 8:46 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Saturn), until the Moon enters Aries the next day, Wednesday, October 28th, at 4:45 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, October 30th, from 12:12 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Mercury), until the Moon enters Taurus at 5:19 PM EDT.
October 2020:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 31st, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings but with some exceptions. The Moon is waning after the Full Moon on the 31st, which is generally considered unfavorable, also with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs from Sunday, October 25th, at approximately 5:20 PM EDT, until Tuesday, October 27th, at approximately 8:40 PM EDT, while the Moon is in Pisces. Caveats: Mercury and Mars are retrograde during this window, and both Mercury and Venus are changing signs on the 27th. Another window occurs from Saturday, October 31st, at approximately 12 PM EDT, until Sunday, November 1st, at approximately 9:25 PM EST, while the Moon is in Taurus. Caveats: Mercury and Mars are retrograde during this window. This window is also better after 3:00 PM on the 1st.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Mercury sesquiquadrate Neptune. We are not thinking clearly, preferring to daydream. Technical facts can be glossed over at this time. It’s not a good time to make a presentation, to ask for what you want, or to formalize agreements.
Mercury conjunct Sun. We are especially sharp, communicative, and open at this time, as our wants are aligned with our thoughts. It’s a favorable time for solving problems. What we say or write now has impact, for better or for worse!
Sun sesquiquadrate Neptune. Our willpower is low as we stray from our goals and temporarily lose focus. It’s difficult to formulate — or stick to — clear goals during this transit. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters that require straightforward, factual thinking today. It can be difficult knowing where or how to direct our willpower under this influence. It’s also a challenge knowing where we stand with others. Avoid such things as scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time.
Sun quincunx Chiron. Doubting ourselves and our effectiveness, as well as guilt for not facing important issues, can subtly undermine our confidence under this influence. Self-expression can be choppy and unnatural as a result.
Sun opposition Uranus. We want freedom, and we refuse to conform. Our wants are somewhat unstable and changeable. Sudden changes of plans are likely, and could stimulate us to try new approaches and they certainly act to cut boredom. This transit could offer us the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being.
Note: Times given in the table/calendar above are Eastern Time (ET).

OCTOBER 25
The inferior conjunction of Mercury and the Sun occurs today in the sign of Scorpio, giving us a unique window into the past as it might impact our future. This is a good time for processing recent events and ideas and looking at problems or issues from a new perspective and with a new understanding, mainly related to shared resources, intimate relationships, and indebtedness. Significant new ideas are born at this time, and they’re likely to have real staying power or importance in our lives. What we say or write now has an impact, for better or for worse. However, we may not have all the facts necessary to come to a definite conclusion, and we might later need to revise plans or decisions. The Moon continues its transit of Aquarius until it heads into Pisces at 5:19 PM EDT. The Pisces Moon is a gentle, creative, and compassionate transit. This is a time for winding down and taking a break from the usual pace. Emotional or mental refreshment is useful for gaining perspective now.
The void Moon continues until it enters Pisces today at 5:19 PM EDT.
OCTOBER 26
The Moon in Pisces all day is wise, understanding, and empathetic. We are receptive and passive today, perhaps avoiding definition or confrontation. The ability to let certain things go can be relieving. The morning’s Sun-Neptune challenge suggests we can temporarily lose focus. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters that require clear, factual thinking now. The Moon’s sextile to Uranus suggests that we’re attracted to new approaches and might find it difficult to concentrate on lifeless or ordinary tasks. It’s a good time to invent, imagine, and inspire.
OCTOBER 27
Two sign ingresses occur today: both Mercury and Venus enter Libra, but from opposite ends of the sign. In fact, they form a semi-sextile. This transit can serve to subtly contrast a logical and playful approach. It may be all too easy to say things we don’t mean or feel. However, we seem to be able to make things work, and while we may not be especially focused today, we’re adaptable and making an effort to understand one another. Retrograde Mercury enters Libra today, returning to the sign until November 10th, while Mercury will remain retrograde only until November 3rd. Mercury in Libra is conciliatory and analytical. While retrograde in the sign, we can be slow to reach a decision – possibly painfully slow, as our minds bounce back and forth between the alternatives, finding merits for any and all of them. This period may affect our close partnerships the most. We might rethink old positions and relationships, and our observations tend to be unusually idealized. Venus transits Libra starting today and running until November 21st. During this cycle, we use charm and diplomacy to attract what we want. There is a stronger desire for companionship, and we’re very accommodating with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. We prefer that things are done the “right” way, and aggressive or uncouth behavior is more offensive than usual. The shadow traits of this position include dependency, inconsistency, and superficiality. To avoid unpleasant situations, we might gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. We are more artistically inclined during this cycle, seeking out harmony and balance in our environment. The Moon spends the day in sensitive, mystical Pisces.
The void Moon occurs from 8:46 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Saturn), until the Moon enters Aries tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28th, at 4:45 AM EDT.
OCTOBER 28
The Moon continues its transit of Pisces until it heads into Aries at 4:45 AM EDT. The Aries Moon can feel like a fresh start on an emotional level. We could feel motivated to take on a challenge. We begin to crave more action or the excitement of something new. Our energy seems at its peak for new beginnings and innovations, and we’re far less interested in what’s already happened or what others have already done. The Moon in Aries is direct and assertive, but a Sun-Chiron quincunx suggests some wavering of confidence. We may doubt our inner guide, and we may face situations that seem to test our vulnerabilities. Some indecision is possible.
The void Moon continues until 4:45 AM EDT when the Moon enters Aries.
OCTOBER 29
The Moon spends the day in Aries, aligning with retrograde Mars this afternoon and forming a square to Jupiter tonight. We’re motivated and ready to start fresh, yet easy to distract. Feelings are strong as we wrestle with the desire to attend to personal goals and our more worldly ambitions. Situations seem to pull up unrest, resentment, and buried frustrations. There can be a real desire to master a problem. We should watch for too-quick decisions and actions. As the day advances, we notice and fully appreciate the more unique elements of people, situations, and projects. We’re also drawn to interesting and unusual activities.
OCTOBER 30
The Moon continues its transit of Aries today, and a desire to start a new chapter is with us. Our feelings and desires are fiery, immediate, and hard to ignore. We are more impulsive than usual–we tend to want things to happen quickly, and our competitive instincts are strong. The more impatient side of this Moon position is likely to come to the fore as it forms squares to Pluto and Saturn and an opposition to retrograde Mercury. We might face obstacles to our goals, and it may not be easy to communicate well. The Moon enters Taurus at 5:19 PM EDT, and we are more naturally inclined to want to slow down and get our bearings.
The void Moon occurs from 12:12 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Mercury), until the Moon enters Taurus at 5:19 PM EDT.
OCTOBER 31
The Sun forms an opposition to Uranus today, and we can encounter resistance from others or within ourselves. Unanticipated events may be part of the picture now, mainly through our relationships and the illumination of a different perspective. This energy is rebellious and touchy, especially if we feel constrained. It’s a yearly influence that can pull up the need to review our appetite for more freedom. The drive to do something new is with us, but we may not have a clear direction or purpose yet, and it’s best to avoid making significant decisions that are hasty. The Full Moon in Taurus occurs around the same time, and it’s fertile and potent, awakening us to our feelings or a new approach to enjoying ourselves. As it ties into the Sun-Uranus opposition so tightly, there can be surprise or abrupt elements to our epiphanies. Full Moons always pit opposite signs of the zodiac against each other and invite us to work to balance the opposing energies. The contrast between earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus and emotional, transformative, crisis-oriented Scorpio comes full bloom now. It’s a passionate and creative Full Moon, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences. Intimate relationship matters, such as personal comfort levels, sexuality, and values, figure prominently now. There can be a strong urge (or need) to break free from old patterns in our relationships. Our feelings about a lingering problem or matter can become very clear now. While there can be a tug of war between closeness and independence, we might discover ways to interact while honoring both needs. We may need to deal with distractions and feelings of discontent that can lead us along unexpected tangents. Disruptions now may lead to a desire to explore motivations and understand meanings. We reach a point of full exposure, especially about autonomy, innovation, and independence. The desire to experience something new, exciting, and bold can figure strongly. A Sun-Jupiter quintile contributes to a sense of growth, although we should watch for posturing rather than embracing change. We’re also heading toward a Mercury-Saturn square that has a more prolonged influence than usual with Mercury’s upcoming station, and there’s some tendency to worry and bicker. The Moon spends the day in the earthy, practical, and steady sign of Taurus, but with its alignment to Uranus, we need to approach comfort in new ways.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Aquarius
Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal, under this influence. This is a time that promotes social gatherings, dealing with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and progressive changes. We are open to new methods of doing things and we have our eye on the future. It can be hard to stick to schedules now, as personal freedom is most important to us.
The Moon in Aquarius generally favors the following activities: Unusual or radical undertakings, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, joining a group.
When the Moon is in Pisces
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
When the Moon is in Taurus
We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses." Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.
While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Scorpio Who owes what, who owns what, and who decides these things: these are some of the major issues for you at the dawn of the cycle that now begins in your life. The only thing we really own is our consciousness; the only master who is never overthrown is oneself. These are lessons best learned early in this cycle. Master them, and you master everything. Dodge these issues, and the great strength that could be yours will remain just out of reach. Understanding inner motivations, seeing through to the core: that’s your real path of power and enlightenment now.
Mercury in Scorpio A pronounced curiosity about taboos and mysteries plays a greater part in your life now. Your mind is on cutting through the nonessentials and penetrating to the core is where your mind is at now; you want to know who (or what) pulls the strings. Sex, taxes, investments, and others of life’s most compelling phenomena may captivate your interest more than ever before.
Mercury in Libra A new cycle begins for you, signaling a greater than usual interest in relationships, social connections, and the arts – on a more intellectual level than in the past, most likely. Seeing both sides of an issue, and figuring out resolutions to opposing views: these things take on more importance in your life.
Mars in Aries Fresh challenges and initiatives light your fires now, as a new cycle begins in your life – lots of energy, a powerful urge to be first, or come out on top. Away with the old and on to the new – let no one and nothing stand between you and your objective! Headstrong impulses and rash courage can take you far … sometimes in harm’s way if you’re not careful.
Jupiter in Capricorn Respect, status, and achievement are central goals for you as a new phase begins in your life. Creating a structure to empower and maintain your ideals and principles becomes a high priority, an article of faith. By taking on greater responsibilities of this kind, you become an inspiration to others. Ambition unlimited always ends in defeat.
Saturn in Capricorn Responsibility, hard work, ambition, and achievement: these are the foundations you need to build on now, as a new cycle dawns in your life. And yet, there is a tendency to be a little too hard, perhaps a bit cold, in your approach to these things. Let ambition take you to the top, but don’t let it lull you into thinking that the end justifies the means.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone, and everyone in their place…
