This trend sticks with you for most of the year 2021, with the exception of the dates below (from May 13-July 28 and December 28 forward, these themes change). This period finds you more sociable, hopeful, connected, and concerned with boosting your happiness.

Several possibilities arise with this transit, depending on your current situation. While it’s with you for almost a year, this cycle only comes up every twelve years or so.

It’s a fine time for finding more fulfilling activities, making rewarding friendships or connections, and discovering your need for community.

During this cycle, you’re likely to find your joy in friends, group associations, and brand new and promising projects and initiatives. It’s also a time for planting some seeds, symbolically speaking. You are dreaming up new long-term plans and ventures.

Your connections to others, group associations, and friendships expand and grow. It’s a time for feeling considerably more confident about the future, as well as your ability to set plans in motion that will allow you to accomplish some of your most cherished hopes and dreams.

While this can be exciting, try not to take on more than you can handle. Your vision is quite optimistic, and you might overestimate what you are capable of doing down the road! However, one or two projects can be inspiring and also quite innovative.

With more contact (which can certainly be online) with others, you are sure to come up with new ideas and to be inspired. Others can point you in new directions. There can be a cause that you work towards enthusiastically. A new communications project can excite you and bring you into contact with interesting, helpful people. Business income should increase.

This can be a time of budding friendships and/or group involvement. New people may come into your life and seek your friendship, or existing friendships may be refreshed or enhanced. Note that if you’re in an area under lockdown, this can be online or relative to your situation. Opportunities to advance or for new learning experiences can come through associates, friendships, and networking. For many, this can be a strong time for an internet business.

Potential challenges: Over-emphasis on activities that take you away from your practical responsibilities, too often.

However, for the most part, you are likely to take advantage of this period in your life in order to expand your social life and friends base and to dream up exciting new paths for the future. These are periods for looking within and learning your inner strength. It’s also a time for appreciating some level of solitude.

This influence spans three date ranges, and we’re on the first wave this year:

It may sound complicated, but it just means that you’re experiencing these themes in steps, starting this year from May to July. Matters from the past are magnified in your life now. You tend to sort through the attitudes that serve you well, and the behaviors that need to go in order for you to grow and improve. This is generally a warm, protective cycle, although with Jupiter in the background in your chart, there may be some sense that you are not truly living or experiencing your life to the fullest, or that your joy in life is not as obvious to others. It’s a somewhat more withdrawn, reflective period of your life. You may be exploring the hidden elements of life or developing your spirituality now.

You may also be especially compassionate and empathetic. Events occurring tend to expand your inner world and your innate compassion, warmth, or inner eye.

This can be a powerful period for volunteer work, or for work done behind the scenes, in private, or in the helping professions.

Because this transit connects your sector of higher learning, belief systems, and adventure with your sector of solitude and endings, this can also be a time when your perspective or personal philosophy is going through changes. You might be doing some special studies on your own. There can be hidden or elusive elements to your communications, interests, and studies.

Potential challenges: Escapism. You might often be tempted to escape your everyday responsibilities and challenges, and should avoid reliance on drugs, drinking, or other “glamorous” forms of escape.

Jupiter’s influence is generally considered positive, and it is, ultimately. However, it acts to magnify the area of the chart that it affects, and at times it can be uncomfortable if you are having difficulties in this area.

This transit is felt more strongly earlier or later in the cycle, depending on whether you were born earlier or later in the sign of Aries. In 2021, those most directly affected by this transit are those born from approximately March 22-April 3 and those with an Ascendant of 1 to 14 degrees Aries.

Financial ups and downs are possible, but you’re learning to live with some unpredictability. The sooner you adjust to the idea of living with some uncertainty in these areas of life, the better. It’s a great time to think ahead and consider whether you’ve become too attached to certain methods, things, and ways of life that are no longer serving you good purpose.

When it comes to income, you are challenged to think outside the box to come up with viable plans to improve your finances. You may be seeking alternative sources of income now. Career, professional matters, and public life continue to transform this year, requiring deep and lasting fundamental changes. This is a very long-term influence that is once again active all year, although it’s not as strong an influence in 2021 as it was in 2020.

There can be tests to your level of expertise, and possibly even the exposure of weak areas. Treat these as challenges to improve.

Eclipses this year continue to challenge you to develop and balance communications, transportation, and studies.
