Until December 18, 2020, Jupiter has now climbed to the top of your solar chart. Your ambitions, career, business goals, and reputation continue to grow and develop. Your talents and skills are recognized now like never before (at least not in twelve years). All of the hard work you’ve put in begins to pay off and is rewarded – or at the very least, recognized. This influence began in December 2019.

You are in the limelight in some way during this cycle. Although it’s a great period for expansion and recognition on a professional level, and you should take advantage of it, choose your projects carefully. Don’t take on more than you can handle. Watch also for gossip or mishandling of information. Be wary of situations that could get blown out of proportion or misunderstood. While Jupiter bestows gifts, these can be wasted if we go to great excess. As well, because Jupiter, which rules expansion, is in Saturn’s sign, which rules contraction, it’s best not to go overboard.

This can be a time of significant progress in the outer world, a fortunate change in status, and increased recognition.

With this transit, there are several possible scenarios that depend on your particular situation. Your hard work and effort can be recognized now. You could find yourself in a position that truly suits you. You take great pride in the work you do. For some of you, more prestige or a higher social standing may be part of the picture now. You can be quite charismatic in a position of authority or responsibility. Advancement in achieving an important goal can occur now. Your reputation may be enhanced in some significant way. This is a time when believing in yourself, your competency, and your ability to take the lead opens up opportunities for you. Until March 21, 2020, and from July 1st to December 16th, the areas of your life that require a “back to basics” approach are associated with the sector of your solar chart that rules career, profession, reputation, and public life. There may be tests of sorts in these areas of life as if the universe is checking that the foundations are strong. Things built on weak foundations may very well crack under the pressure of these tests. Those that are strong will endure and strengthen.

This influence has been with you for a few years and is coming to an end in 2020. It can be felt most strongly earlier or later in the cycle, depending on whether you were born earlier or later in the sign of Aries. This year, those most directly affected by this transit are those born from approximately April 11 to 20 and those with an Ascendant of 21 to 30 degrees Aries.

During this cycle, your career requires critical decisions and choices. Major projects may come to fruition, and this can be a time for reaping their rewards, but there can be some disappointment now as well if you haven’t achieved what you wanted to accomplish. Tests can come to your friendships during this long-term cycle. You may be more discriminating when it comes to making new friends, or circumstances are such that you spend less energy on networking and involvement in your community or in teams and groups. Existing friendships may experience some tests or trials during this cycle, and one or possibly more friendships may end. Ones that are true, however, will strengthen. All year, Uranus transits your resources sector throughout the year 2020 and for many years ahead. During this period, your attitude towards personal finances, as well as your value system, changes rapidly. There is a need to be free from certain attachments during this long-term cycle.

Financial ups and downs are possible, but with Uranus in good shape this year, you’ll probably see most of this transits benefits more often than its unpredictability. Even so, the sooner you adjust to the idea of living with some uncertainty in these areas of life, the better. It’s a great time to think ahead and consider whether you’ve become too attached to certain methods, things, and ways of life that are no longer serving you good purpose.

Your 2020 Aries Horoscope reveals areas of life in which change and transformation take place. It’s a time for “out with the old, in with the new.”

Career, professional matters, and public life continue to transform this year, requiring deep and lasting fundamental changes. This is a very long-term influence that is once again active all year, and in fact, enhanced and reinforced with other influences active in 2020. There can be tests to your level of expertise, and possibly even the exposure of weak areas. Treat these as challenges to improve. Changes may seem more challenging in October when they seem to compete with your desire/need to learn new skills and pursue learning or personal interests. Overall, though, it’s a fulfilling time for you.

Your ambition is increasing and as 2020 progresses, you have even more support for reaching your goals with support from Jupiter. At times, you may have a tendency to take on too much. You’re productive and enjoyment improves, however. It’s a great time to feel more motivated to enjoy your work or the pursuit of your goals.

From May 2020 forward, however, the North Node moves into your solar third house. This transit points to a genuine need to reach out, connect, make contact, learn, and communicate, as these things can bring wonderful benefits and much joy to your life now and next year as well.

Your Planetary Ruler in 2020: Mars is your planetary ruler. The year 2020 is one in which Mars has a retrograde period. Mars retrogrades approximately every two years, and that’s why Mars didn’t retrograde last year. This year, Mars retrogrades in the sign of Aries only from September 9th to November 13th, 2020–in its own sign! It’s important that during this period, you get the rest you need and that you avoid pushing yourself or your personal plans and ventures ahead. Observe, reflect, and be as patient as you can.

Note, too, that there is always a hangover period after a retrograde cycle in which we reorient ourselves, and that lasts from November 13th to January 3rd, 2021. There is also a pre-retrograde shadow period in which it’s best not to push your affairs forward, and this shadow phase occurs from July 25th forward. Ideally, you’ll handle your bigger initiatives outside of these periods, but if you must go ahead with something, it’s better handled in the post-retrograde shadow than it is initiated in the pre-retro shadow.
