The FULL MOON/LUNAR ECLIPSE occurs on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 3:12 PM EDT.
Friday afternoon, the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse occurs in the sign of Sagittarius. Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and polarities. With the Gemini-Sagittarius axis involved, this Lunar Eclipse presses us to look more closely at our needs, lacks, and wants in our lives concerning the balance between Gemini-ruled and Sagittarius ruled areas of life.
The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity is a mental axis, where Gemini represents the “lower mind” and Sagittarius represents the “higher mind.” The Gemini Sun encourages us to think logically, while the Sagittarius Moon persuades us to intuit, and to think in a broader manner. Sagittarius symbolizes the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the here and now. Gemini is quite comfortable in their immediate environment or neighborhood, while Sagittarius stimulates us to venture beyond it. Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire on us.
Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Lunar Eclipse invites us to do. This eclipse is about communication, attitude, and our sense of adventure. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Later, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them.
A crisis of sorts (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack or discontent in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs within the context of the house polarity where the eclipse occurs in our natal charts. Relationships may be challenged, broken, or strengthened dramatically at this time. Our discovery is emotionally charged and dramatic. Epiphanies are likely at this time as we become acutely aware of our lack. This understanding can propel us into positive action, although there can be some level of chaos initially.
This eclipse is the first in a series of eclipses that fall along the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. It can be viewed as the first cosmic push regarding the themes it is stimulating. The final eclipse in this set of Gemini/Sagittarius eclipses will happen in December 2021.
This eclipse occurs at the inferior conjunction between the Sun and Venus, emphasizing awareness of dissatisfaction or discontent. The Sun and Moon are tightly square Mars and also square Neptune (Mars and Neptune are heading toward an alignment). Our feelings count, and we’ll see and feel their power now, paving the road for new directions. However, this can be an impulsive and misguided time for acting. Our disillusionment can certainly motivate us to make imporvements, but it’s better to observe, take in, and process before jumping into action.
This is a time to work on clearing up past patterns that have been holding us back from personal fulfillment, particularly those that are communication-centered or that revolve around our attitudes, expressions, gestures, studies, and mobility. There will be more work to come in these areas, but for now, we are experiencing a greater awareness of problems and especially lacks or flaws, and they’re significant. Our feelings about a lingering problem or matter can become very clear now.

This phase of the Moon occurs at 15 degrees and 34 minutes of Sagittarius, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 11 to 21 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.

This week: The Sun is in Gemini; Mercury is in Cancer; Venus is in Gemini; Mars is in Pisces.
The Sun is in Gemini from May 20-June 20. Knowledge and diversity motivate us with the Sun in Gemini. We are more sociable, intellectual, and insatiably curious under this influence. We tend to scatter our energies as a result of this curiosity and awareness of all of our options. We are more communicative and versatile, but we can also be unreliable.
Mercury is in Cancer from May 28-August 4. [This is longer than usual due to Mercury’s retrograde from June 18-July 12.] When Mercury is in Cancer, we move from the desire for quantity to the need for quality in terms of the information we are attracted to. We think, speak, and take in information on a deeper, more instinctive level now. We have less interest in what is universal, and more interest in what affects us personally and what affects the people around us. Our thoughts are colored by our emotions, so it is more challenging to be objective.
Venus is in Gemini from April 3-August 7. In Gemini, we have a finger in every pie. Curiosity motivates us on romantic and social levels. “Variety is the spice of life” is the attitude now. We are sociable, communicative, and interested. We can be animated and fun but may also keep our distance on an emotional level. Attractions now may begin with words, as we tend to bond more readily on a mental level with Venus in Gemini. The shadow side of Gemini is fickleness.
Mars is in Pisces from May 13-June 27. We tend to feel less motivated to go after traditional goals, and more motivated to pursue spiritual or emotional drives during this cycle. We dislike confrontation during this trend. Our output is variable rather than straightforward, and our energy is similarly up and down. We may put others’ needs ahead of our own, and our more idealistic side comes to the fore. During this cycle, going after what we want becomes less straightforward and more complicated!
Jupiter entered Capricorn on December 2nd, 2019, and will transit the sign until December 19th, 2020. Read more about the Jupiter in Capricorn transit.
In 2020, Saturn divides its time between the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius. Saturn transits Capricorn until March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here. Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July, 1, 2020, and then later, from December 17, 2020, to March 7, 2023.
Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus first transited Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and is consistently in the sign (since March 6th, 2019) until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Gemini from April 3-August 7. In Gemini, Venus is communicative, sociable but emotionally aloof, insatiably curious, and a little bit flighty. Fickleness with our affections is a strong possibility, but the desire for a meeting of minds is strong and the urge to socialize dominates. Some detachment from our emotions is likely, which may be a breath of fresh air for some. The lines of communication open, although we may only scratch the surface of things. Under this influence, love is playful and lighthearted. Fickleness is the shadow side of Venus in Gemini.
This week: Venus turned retrograde on May 13th, and things are changing. Venus-ruled endeavors, such as money, beauty, art, romance, and pleasure, become a little heavier, more prone to reassessment, review, and perhaps delay or a period of limbo. This Venus retrograde cycle lasts until June 25th, and is a period in which we reevaluate or review our love life as well as the manner in which we receive, reveal, and express our affections. Thoughts turn to the past so that we can lay to rest unhealthy habits in these areas of life.
With Venus retrograde in Gemini, we may question how much daily involvement and both the quality and quantity of our communications in our relationships. Read more about Venus retrograde in Gemini from May 13-June 25, 2020.
This week, retrograde Venus forms a square to Mars on Tuesday, the 2nd, and tensions rise, likely to do with old, long-standing issues. Our needs and desires seem to clash now, which can lead to some friction. Disagreements are possible with differences and contrasts standing out more than usual. There can be a real discrepancy between values and desires, and passions run high. Be wary of making impulse purchases and relationship decisions under these conditions. From Tuesday to Thursday, we see the past in a new light, particularly related to our relationships and pleasures. We can be symbolically in the dark when it comes to our feelings or relationships as a new cycle begins. This is a time for redefining what we want and need, particularly from intimate relationships but also related to our material affairs and goals. We are infinitely more invested in our ability to harmonize, love, connect, and relate.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Gemini Saying (or writing) it with style comes naturally now. A yen for variety is a hallmark of this phase, and this especially applies to romantic experience and artistic tastes. (The latter tends to focus on literature in general and poetry in particular.) A sociable, congenial, slightly frivolous orientation sets in.
Venus square Neptune May 3 and then May 20. Relationship ups and downs characterize this transit–a time when romantic mirages are more than likely. We see what we hope to see, rather than what really is. The “highs” of a relationship begun under this energy may be thrilling, but the accompanying “lows” are bound to set in, and they can be extremely draining. Be careful not to set yourself up for disappointment.
Venus conjunct Mercury May 21-22. Favors playfulness in love and enhanced communication between partners.
Venus parallel Mercury May 23-24. A congenial time when we appreciate diplomacy and socialize more readily.
Venus sesquiquadrate Saturn May 28-29. Feelings of isolation, of not getting what we really want, and of not being loved the way we want to be loved can get in the way of pleasant relations with our partners.
Venus square Mars June 2. Passions run high under this influence. Sexual tensions and competitiveness are possible, and there can be conflicts that arise from distinct differences between romantic and sexual needs. There is an air of competitiveness under this influence, which need not be difficult. It can be stimulating, creative, passionate, and invigorating.
Venus conjunct Sun June 2-3. Good relating is the focus, although some may find this energy superficial in that surface charm, diplomacy, and harmony is the goal. The pursuit of pleasure is emphasized.
Venus parallel Sun June 3-4. A strong desire for harmony and comfort fill us now. We may be moved to express our affections.
Venus contra-parallel Pluto June 5-6. Romantic intensity, a feeling of fatedness, possessiveness, fear of betrayal, and insecurity in relationships. Questions of trust can emerge in relationships. Looking for a commitment.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter June 6-7. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus contra-parallel Jupiter June 8-9. We’re optimistic and ready to take a chance or give someone or something the benefit of the doubt. We are able to make the best of a situation now. Watch for overextension. It’s best not to overstate or make big promises based only on the good mood of the moment.
Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto June 10. Tendencies to look for something wrong in a relationship. Jealousy raises its ugly head.
Venus sextile Chiron June 10-11. Love has the power to heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings and more willing to act upon them.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, May 31st, from 5:17 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Libra at 10:38 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, June 2nd, from 6:40 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 12:06 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Thursday, June 4th, from 7:37 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:18 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Saturday, June 6th, from 12:11 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 3:45 PM EDT.

Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 5th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). The Moon is waning this week after the Full Moon on the 5th, which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, also with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs from Saturday, May 30th, at approximately 8:15 PM EDT, until Sunday, May 31st, at approximately 5:15 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Virgo. The next window will start on June 3rd. Caveats: Venus is retrograde during these windows (Venus is retrograde until June 25th). Also, a Lunar Eclipse will occur on June 5th, and it is generally considered challenging for new beginnings in the week before an eclipse.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Sun sesquiquadrate Jupiter. We may feel vague restlessness and discontent with life as it is. We want more, but perhaps too much. Overestimation, wastefulness, and exaggeration. Elevated moods, but unstable ones, as they may not be based on reality.
Venus square Mars. Passions run high under this influence. Sexual tensions and competitiveness are possible, and there can be conflicts that arise from differences between romantic and sexual needs. Be wary of making impulse purchases. There is an air of competitiveness under this influence, which need not be difficult. It can be stimulating, creative, and invigorating.
Venus conjunct Sun. We are motivated by the desire to strike a balance in our relationships and in our environment. Smooth negotiations with others. Graciousness, diplomacy, charm, and some superficiality. This is a good period for social affairs, pleasure, amusement, and romance, all things considered.
Mercury sextile Uranus. This is an opportune time to attend meetings and other organized group activities, to communicate online, and to take part in activities involving computers, scientific projects, and metaphysics. Unexpected gains may be realized through such mediums. The intuition is strong, and insights seem to come from “out of the blue”. Original, creative ideas are easy to come by. We can take advantage of our ability to see things in a new light by breathing life into old projects or solving problems in new, creative ways. Varying our usual routine may be especially rewarding.
Mercury square Chiron. Communications may be strained, and possibly hurtful or perceived as such. Misunderstandings are more likely now. Decisions may also be hard to come by, as we tend to doubt ourselves or the effectiveness of our ability to solve problems. It can be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate now.
Mars semi-square Saturn. We are called upon to solve problems, or our plans and efforts meet with resistance. Circumstances seem to block our efforts to assert ourselves. Patience is necessary now, although frustration is very likely. It can feel like more effort than usual is required to complete tasks.
Sun sesquiquadrate Saturn. It’s hard to satisfy the ego today. We feel blocked by circumstances or others. It’s too easy to feel discouraged, but discouragement is a time waster. Gratitude isn’t forthcoming right now, so it’s best to wait it out rather than waste energy letting it get to you.
Sun square Mars. We have “spring fever” no matter what the season. Driven by a restless desire to do something, without a well-defined goal we tend towards impulsive actions and get ourselves into needless arguments. Our reactions tend to be defensive or competitive. We are not very willing to compromise or negotiate. We are more inclined to injury and accident. Energy output can run high if we choose to focus.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. Problems in our personal life likely won’t get resolved under this influence. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.

MAY 31
The Moon continues its transit of Virgo until 10:38 AM EDT. The Virgo Moon is particular, intelligent, and helpful. With the Moon in Libra from 10:38 AM forward, emotional satisfaction comes when we feel that our interactions and environment are balanced and harmonious. We tend to avoid or avert conflicts, and we aim to be fair and reasonable with this transit. The Moon harmonizes with Saturn, supporting a realistic, practical approach. However, the Moon’s square to Mercury can point to some misunderstandings despite our desire to keep the peace.
The void Moon occurs from 5:17 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Libra at 10:38 AM EDT.
JUNE 1
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Libra, and we seek balance and harmony. Jupiter forms a quintile with Chiron early today, helping us to gain perspective. This long-term transit first formed in March and will occur again in November, following along approximately the same timeline as the Jupiter-Neptune sextile and Jupiter-Pluto conjunction. It helps open our minds to others’ struggles and facilitates explaining our perspective to others. We’re more willing to learn and grow through our experiences. Holistic problem-solving is particularly rewarding and successful. We’re absorbing and sharing what we’ve learned from past experiences and mistakes. It’s time for listening to the wisdom of those who have the experience. The Sun-Jupiter aspect this afternoon does suggest a tendency to want more from our lives. Channeled well, this encourages us to make improvements, but otherwise can stir up restlessness and can lead to over-indulgence, immoderation, or exaggeration. We should watch for overestimating our capabilities now since we may feel we can take on more than is reasonable.
JUNE 2
The Moon continues its transit of relationship-focused Libra until 12:06 PM, after which it transits Scorpio. We tend to seek more depth to our experiences or a stronger connection to a project or person with the Scorpio Moon. Retrograde Venus forms a square to Mars today, awakening buried urges and desires, some of which may only be whims or distractions. We might reawaken uncomfortable topics from the past. Disagreements are possible with differences and contrasts standing out more than usual. We can be temperamental and sensitive. There can be a real discrepancy between values and desires, and passions run high. Be wary of making impulse purchases and relationship decisions under these conditions. A passive or soft approach may irritate, but an aggressive approach can be grating, too–timing is off. Disagreements may only be surface conflict as we see things differently temporarily. There is an air of competitiveness that can be challenging and/or refreshing. Discomfort with the status quo can lead to highly creative workarounds and improvements.
The void Moon occurs from 6:40 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 12:06 PM EDT.
JUNE 3
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Scorpio, harmonizing with Mars and Neptune. We’re perceptive and emotional. The Sun and retrograde Venus align in the sign Gemini, marking the middle of the Venus retrograde cycle and a new Sun-Venus cycle’s beginning. Relationship matters are in high focus and can feel fated, emphasizing issues and people of our past. We’re motivated by the desire to come to some semblance of balance in our relationships and environment. Our desire to impress, charm, smooth over differences, and satisfy others is enhanced with the Sun and Venus coming together. Still, we can be symbolically in the dark when it comes to our feelings or relationships as a new cycle begins. This is a time for redefining what we want and need from our connections, relationships, communications, and material affairs or goals.
JUNE 4
The Moon continues its transit of Scorpio until 1:18 PM EDT when it enters Sagittarius. The Scorpio Moon is observant, strategic, emotional, and intense, and the Sagittarius Moon is exploratory, philosophical, and spontaneous. While the Scorpio Moon encourages us to go within or go deep, the Sagittarius Moon spurs a direct approach to the world, at least on an emotional level. Our focus turns outward, and we set our sights high as the day advances. Optimism is one of the positive traits of this position; neglecting to see the essential details of a plan is a weakness. The Moon’s sextile to Saturn this afternoon can help us channel our inspiration into something concrete. Today’s Sun-Venus parallel promotes harmony and cooperation.
The void Moon occurs from 7:37 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:18 PM EDT.
JUNE 5
A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs today at 3:13 PM EDT in the sign of Sagittarius. This is the first eclipse falling along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, the last of which will occur in December 2021. A sense of discontent or a feeling of lack emerges into our awareness now. This Lunar Eclipse presses us to look more closely at our needs related to the balance between Gemini-ruled and Sagittarius-ruled areas of life. It’s about communication, attitude, and our sense of adventure. Epiphanies are likely at this time as we become acutely aware of what we’re missing. This understanding can propel us into affirmative action, although there can be some level of chaos initially. This eclipse can be viewed as the first cosmic push toward understanding how our communications and transportation systems are working for or against us. Our feelings count, and we’ll see and feel their power now, paving the road for new directions. However, this can be an impulsive and misguided time for acting. Our disillusionment can certainly motivate us to make improvements, but it’s better to observe, take in, and process before jumping into action. Our feelings about a lingering issue can become very clear now. Mercury forms a sextile to Uranus and a square to Chiron today, encouraging alternative approaches, new ideas, and technical thinking. Varying our usual routine may be especially rewarding. There can be some insecurity or strained, unnatural communications, however, and we can be a little more sensitive to criticism.
JUNE 6
It’s best to slow down in the face of obstacles this morning, as trying to move too fast can serve to create more resistance for ourselves. Resentments might surface if we feel that there’s inequality in terms of emotional give and take. The Sun forms a square to Mars today, and both bodies form minor squares to Saturn. These aspects can rile us up. We may have a hard time settling down, entertaining a strong urge to do something, to take action, and to make something happen, but we may not know how to direct this excess energy. We can feel blocked. We might feel the need for more challenges, enterprise, and initiative. Reactions tend to be defensive or competitive now, and we can be averse to negotiation or compromise or quite touchy. Energy output can run high if we choose to focus and exercise patience, however. As the day advances, we’re more imaginative, creative, and communicate warmly and considerately. It’s a good time for both teaching and learning. The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius until 3:45 PM EDT when it enters responsible and practical Capricorn.
The void Moon occurs from 12:11 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 3:45 PM EDT.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Gemini The cycle which begins for you now will be marked by a more intense focus on mental and communicative activity than you may ever have experienced before. It’s a time of more involvement with other people, a time for gathering information, and a time when you’re apt to be more on the go than ever. There is likely to be an emphasis on reading, writing, studying, and all forms of exchanging information with others in the years ahead – and it will all serve as a path for self-discovery and personal development.
Mercury in Cancer Gut-level is the way you think, speak, and perceive in the cycle you have just begun. You aren’t interested in the superficial; instead, you want to get right to the root of things. You don’t care about the universal, only about how things impact you and yours. Intellect and emotion mix to the point of inseparability.
Venus in Gemini Saying (or writing) it with style comes naturally now. A yen for variety is a hallmark of this phase, and this especially applies to romantic experience and artistic tastes. The latter tends to focus on literature in general and poetry in particular. A sociable, congenial, slightly frivolous orientation sets in.
Mars in Pisces There’s a martyr complex in the air, now that this new phase has begun in your life. How can you (or anyone) save the world? It’s a question you’ll probably ask yourself as this cycle continues. Defending the weak, undoing injustice, and tilting at windmills can be a big temptation. You might even win a few hands – but you’ll blister a couple if you’re not careful.
Jupiter in Capricorn Respect, status, and achievement are central goals for you as a new phase begins in your life. Creating a structure to empower and maintain your ideals and principles becomes a high priority, an article of faith. By taking on greater responsibilities of this kind, you become an inspiration to others. Ambition unlimited always ends in defeat.
Saturn in Aquarius Ideals are in for a period of testing, as a new phase begins in your life. What are principles worth, unless they are put into practice? That’s an important question for you now. This could mean you may be disappointed by causes you believe in – but if you abandon your principles, you lose.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
