The NEW MOON/SOLAR ECLIPSE occurs on Saturday, December 4th, 2021, at 2:43 AM EST.
Early Saturday, a total Solar Eclipse New Moon occurs in the sign of Sagittarius. It’s the final eclipse to fall along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis since the first in June 2020.
Eclipses have the power to set up themes for the coming six months. In the Jupiter-ruled sign of Sagittarius, matters related to faith, optimism, belief systems, philosophy, sharing ideas, and our sense of adventure become a strong focus on a personal level. This eclipse is about new beginnings regarding all of these matters.
Occurring in Sagittarius, we are called upon to:
- increase our understanding and awareness of the world around us;
- muster up the courage to expand our horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking
- gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the “big picture”
- transcend the details of mundane existence
- work on positive thinking as a way of life
- take an exam, apply for or begin a new higher learning course, or travel
- nurture faith, hope, and vision being careful to moderate our expectations.
We can too easily get lost in the details of mundane existence. With this potent Sagittarius energy, we might discover ways to transcend these details of day-to-day life and nurture our faith, hope, and vision. Because Sagittarius thinks in big terms, we may have a tendency to overdo our expectations or to assert ourselves too blindly, although its trine to Mars helps us assert ourselves with enthusiasm. It’s time to be a little more adventurous, and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our braveries, as little or big as they may be.
We should try to avoid jumping to conclusions and asserting ourselves without considering others’ feelings and reactions. There is a big difference between asserting ourselves from a place of healthy confidence, and asserting ourselves brashly and blindly which can give us a false sense of confidence or bravery when doing so respectfully is best.
With this potent Sagittarius energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives that will benefit us well beyond this Moon cycle. For some of us, circumstances are such that we need to pay more attention to these matters. It’s a time when we can focus on some of the constructive traits of the sign of the Archer–optimistic, enthusiastic, adventurous, honest, outspoken, independent–and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives.
Flaws in an important system in our lives are revealed around the time of the eclipse, prompting us to redo or to start fresh. Something ends in order for something else to start anew. We may be called to give up something in order to move forward into a new chapter in our lives. Although the “new” may be unrecognizable, it is important to allow the necessary surrender to the unknown.
An eclipse occurs close to the nodal axis, and this eclipse is closer to the South Node of the Moon. Eclipses closer to the South Node tend to “feel” a little more challenging than those conjunct or closer to the North Node, as we can concentrate too much on the idea that we might have to let something go. Those of us with planets and points strongly stimulated by this eclipse can feel especially drained and tired, both physically and emotionally. There is a need to let go, forgive, cleanse, and release.
Major developments in the personal areas ruled by Sagittarius in our charts are likely to occur over the course of the next 3-6 months. This is the final eclipse in a series falling along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis.
- Penumbral LUNAR Eclipse June 5th, 2020 at 15:12:15 at 15° Sagittarius 34′
- Penumbral LUNAR Eclipse November 30th, 2020 at 4:29:32 at 8° Gemini 38′
- Total SOLAR Eclipse December 14th, 2020 at 11:16:26 at 23° Sagittarius 08′
- Total LUNAR Eclipse May 26th, 2021 at 7:13:43 at 5° Sagittarius 26′
- Annular SOLAR Eclipse June 10th, 2021 at 6:52:29 at 19° Gemini 47′
- Total SOLAR Eclipse December 4th, 2021 at 2:42:51 at 12° Sagittarius 22′
Not everyone will feel the effect of the eclipse with the same intensity. Those whose personal planets are activated by the degree of the eclipse will most feel its effects on a personal level.
Solar eclipses occurred at approximately the same degree as this December 2021 eclipse on December 4, 1964, December 4, 1983, and December 4, 2002. It might help to think back to these periods and consider the themes that surrounded your life at those times (the period, not the precise date) in order to get a better understanding of what the current eclipse series might mean for you, if applicable. You might also think about issues that emerged in the previous year and a half, which can now re-emerge or continue to need attention.
The last time we had a set of Gemini-Sagittarius eclipses was December 2010 to May 2013, and this can also give clues as to life departments and themes that may have emerged or that will appear through this set of Gemini-Sagittarius eclipses.
Aligned with Mercury and sextile Saturn, our ideas are solid, and we might take them forward with us , applying them with success. We need to make changes in our thought patterns, particularly in terms of ridding ourselves of old habits.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 12 degrees and 22 minutes of Sagittarius, affecting people with personal planets and points at approximately 7 to 17 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.

(Times are Eastern)
This week: The Sun is in Sagittarius; Mercury is in Sagittarius; Venus is in Capricorn; Mars is in Scorpio.
The Sun is in Sagittarius from November 21-December 21. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need for an intimate connection with a person and with ourselves, to the desire to reach out to the world and connect with something larger than ourselves. While the Sun moves through this fiery, mutable sign, we can take steps to increase our understanding and awareness of the world around us. We are more able to muster up the courage to expand our horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking.
We can gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the “big picture” as we move away from our focus on the details of mundane existence. Although we may be prone to overdoing our expectations, we have the opportunity to nurture our faith, hope, and vision under this influence.
Mercury is in Sagittarius from November 24-December 13. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. We seek ideals, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us most now. However, we are not always very precise under this influence.
We’re more inclined to ask questions and seek answers during this forward-looking cycle. We might often wax philosophical, and we enjoy wrapping our minds around new concepts and ideas. Still, the details are not as interesting to us now, as we prefer to envision the big picture.
On the downside, we can be inconsistent and lack attention to details. While frank and open, we can also be tactless during this period. We’re generous with our communications and input, and we’re humorous and friendly at this time.
Venus is in Capricorn from November 5, 2021-March 6, 2022. [This is longer than usual due to the Venus retrograde, occurring entirely in the sign of Capricorn, from December 19, 2021-January 29, 2022.] Getting serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence. Our talents for creating artistic structure and form are enhanced, and our ability to form connections with people who support our ambitions increases.
We value enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness. We take expressing our feelings seriously, and we take our time to warm up to others. We generally keep our “cool” in relationships. We’re steadfast and seek genuine, perhaps old-fashioned connections. It’s not a time for PDA, and we can be somewhat guarded and reserved with expressing our feelings or revealing our relationships.
The underdog who works hard can have their time in the sun now. We value slow and steady effort and long-term prospects. Reliability in others is most attractive.
This cycle favors getting along well with higher-ups, conservative business goals and ventures, long-term investments, and matters related to pension.
Mars is in Scorpio from October 30-December 13. In Scorpio, Mars is driven and focused on getting what it wants. We are persevering, single-minded, and strong. The desire to experience our emotional depths, as well as the urge to penetrate the surface of life in order to explore deeper levels of existence, is powerful. We are fascinated with what others tend to repress, and are drawn to experiencing and understanding these things.
We are less inclined to avoid important issues now. In some ways, we are attracted to crisis, as we see crisis as transformative and emotionally exciting. We would rather feel extreme emotions than nothing at all, as mediocrity or the “middle road” is felt to be unsatisfying.
Jupiter is in Aquarius from December 19th, 2020, to May 13, 2021, and then from July 28 to December 28, 2021. Read more about the Jupiter in Aquarius transit. Jupiter is in Pisces from May 13th to July 28th, when it retreats into Aquarius. Jupiter returns to Pisces on December 28th, 2021. There will be another part to this 3-part act in 2022! Read more about the Jupiter in Pisces transit.
Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July 1, 2020, and from December 17th, 2020, until March 7, 2023. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aquarius.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Capricorn from November 5, 2021, to March 6, 2022. Venus in Capricorn is a cycle in which security and stability in our relationships are paramount. We are more cautious with our emotions and somewhat skeptical of both our own feelings and others’ expressions of affection. Longevity is important to us under this influence.
There is a formality to Capricorn that can make personal expressions seem awkward and forced. However, this cycle offers us the opportunity to consider some of the practical issues of our relations and to work on making our partnerships work in the real world. A dose of realism in our personal lives can help us to feel more grounded and secure in the long run.
This week: On Tuesday, we treat partners with more tenderness or we see them in a more sensitive, obliging light. We’re particularly open to romance, and we can be quite responsive or sensitive to others’ needs and backstories. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions, taking the pressure off in personal relationships.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Capricorn Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Venus semi-square Mercury November 25. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus sextile Neptune November 30. Unusual attractions that add imagination, inspiration, and emotional “color” to our lives may occur now. We are attuned to the subtleties of human interaction, and we are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others. An imaginative, romantic time.
Venus conjunct Pluto December 10-11. An extraordinarily passionate time for relationships. We are focused and confident. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–a lot from a partnership or friendship. Powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions. Relationships begun under this influence are intense and passionate, deep and far from superficial, and can be quite possessive as well.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, November 28th, from 7:02 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Monday, November 29th, at 3:55 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, November 30th, from 11:20 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Wednesday, December 1st, at 6:56 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Friday, December 3rd, from 12:23 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 7:14 AM EST.

Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waning most of the week (until the New Moon on the 4th), which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). The Moon is waxing after the New Moon early on December 4th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, also with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week briefly from approximately 11:00 PM to 11:15 PM on Tuesday, November 30th, while the Moon is in Libra. Another occurs on Saturday, December 4th, from approximately 4:00 PM, to Sunday, December 5th, at approximately 12:05 AM EST. Caveats: It’s generally not a good idea to schedule new beginnings in the days (or perhaps week) surrounding an eclipse, and the Solar Eclipse occurs early on the 4th. The second of these windows, especially, is too close to the New Moon/eclipse.
Note, the next window, occurring next week, will happen from Sunday, December 5th, at approximately 6:35 AM EST, until Monday, December 6th, at approximately 11:40 PM EST, while the Moon is in Capricorn.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Mercury conjunct Sun. We are especially sharp, communicative, and open at this time, as our wants are aligned with our thoughts. It’s a favorable time for solving problems. What we say or write now has impact, for better or for worse!
Mars trine Neptune. We act on our intuition now, sexual fantasies are strong, we strive towards all that is boundless, and our creative impulses are potent. We are less tense and driven, and more relaxed. “What will be, will be” is the attitude now. Inspiration can be found now. This transit favors dancing, swimming, photography, arts, and entertainment.
Mercury trine Chiron. This is an excellent period for opening up communications with others, as we are more sensitive than usual and more willing to listen. Getting our point across is easier, as it’s not only about which words we choose to communicate, we intuitively express the meaning and intention behind the words. We can effectively use words to heal and comfort just now. We are also more open to new ways of looking at problems or at life in general.
Mercury sextile Saturn. A good time to get organized, to do detail work, and to prepare for the future. Decisions made now tend to be practical and well thought out. Work done now will have tangible results in the future.
Sun trine Chiron. A sense of purpose or a “mission” is with us now, increasing our confidence. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong. Problem solving is favored.
Venus sextile Neptune. We are more imaginative and attuned to the world of beauty and romance today. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. A “magical” time on a romantic and social level is possible now.
Sun sextile Saturn. We feel grounded and stable. It’s easy to stick to a specific task and make headway. Productivity may be slow, but it’s steady. We are taking into account practical considerations and we are especially aware of the element of time. We are more able to discipline ourselves and put our egos aside in order to get the job done.
Mercury semi-square Pluto. “Suspicious minds” characterize this transit, although if we harness the energy, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of any matter. Mistrust, investigations. Some level of mental stress, trouble, or pressure.
Sun semi-square Pluto. A tendency to want to control our lives through some form of manipulation is strong during this influence. Meeting with obstacles in our paths, however, can force us into the position of using all of our resources to fight back, and we can discover resources we never knew we had in the process.
Mercury quincunx Uranus. It is difficult to get a point across without rubbing people the wrong way or misrepresenting ourselves. Uncertainty reigns today. Avoid making hasty decisions that you will later regret. Impulsiveness, disorganization, unreceptive to practical advice and/or your ideas are not well-received.
Sun quincunx Uranus. Surprise elements make us feel out of control of our lives or the direction we would like to take. Disrupted plans or schedules. Unexpected events or change of plans.
Mars sesquiquadrature Chiron. We can be easily offended under the influence of this transit. Touchiness. Difficulties expressing our anger or desires in a direct manner.

NOVEMBER 28
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Virgo. While we may need to refuel with inspiration this morning, we find ourselves quite happily productive and helpful as the Moon harmonizes with Venus, Mars, and Pluto. Tonight, the Sun aligns with Mercury in Sagittarius, offering us a nice window of opportunity to more clearly see our goals in the areas of exploration, education, faith, belief, optimism, sharing ideas, and publishing. This is a superior conjunction of Mercury and the Sun, which can stimulate an epiphany, illumination of a matter, or a clearing of the air. We are sharp, communicative, and open at this time, and what we say or write now has a strong impact, for better or for worse! An idea or plan can come to full bloom. While mentally stimulating, we may want to watch for intellectualizing issues that require sensitivity. With both the Sun and Mercury aligning with Vesta today, we can enjoy dedicating ourselves to a special interest or project.
The void Moon occurs from 7:02 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Monday, November 29th, at 3:55 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 29
The Moon completes its transit of Virgo at 3:55 AM EST when it enters Libra. The Libra Moon is conciliatory, accommodating, and willing to meet others halfway. Mars forms a trine to Neptune this morning, helping us to open to alternative paths. This transit is good for feeling inspired, letting go of anger, and softening our dispositions. Creative arts, particularly physical ones, are in favor. It’s better to wind down or act on our visions, dreams, and compassion. We’re looking for the meaning in our experiences and ready to believe that we can make our dreams happen. It’s a time for bringing more imagination to what we’re doing. We are not inclined to follow rigid rules, directions, and schedules, instead favoring following our intuition or inner guidance and gut feelings. Mercury forms a trine to Chiron tonight and moves toward a sextile to Saturn. It’s an excellent time for opening ourselves to learn, mainly through others’ experiences and wisdom. We’re also communicating constructively and relaying our messages in relatable, accessible ways. We’re especially alert, observant, and willing to understand. With a stronger desire for meaning and mental stimulation, we more readily recognize relevant patterns in our lives.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Libra today at 3:55 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 30
Today’s energies are complicated but in largely happy ways. Mercury’s sextile to Saturn very early today favors practical thoughts, discussions, and plans. It’s generally a time for speaking more spontaneously and directly with Mercury in Sagittarius. However, with today’s Mercury-Saturn transit, it’s easier to direct our mental energy into something constructive. This transit helps ground our thinking and expectations. We seek to be mentally prepared, desiring more order and organization in our lives. The Sun-Chiron trine this morning encourages a holistic approach to problem-solving. There can be opportunities to learn, grow, and improve, particularly through spontaneity, self-assertion, and courage. With less concern about who’s right or wrong, we’re open to learning and growing. Our egos don’t get in the way, helping us make real progress. Fortunately, we’re putting our respect in the right places. The chance to find a sense of purpose or a “mission” can arise now, increasing our confidence.
The Sun also harmonizes with Saturn, supporting our efforts to discipline ourselves to bring more purpose and practicality to our lives. This is a time of increased self-awareness that leads to realistic plans and goals. Taking into account practical considerations and time/energy limitations makes for better planning.
Yet another supportive transit occurs today: Venus sextile Neptune. This influence encourages us to open up and embrace loving, non-possessive feelings. We’re finding the best in people and our relationships or pleasures. We approach one another more gently and sensitively than usual with this transit. We are inclined to see the spiritual dimensions of our relationships and to treat others with increased compassion. Mercury’s semi-square to Pluto adds a certain edge to our thinking as the day advances. This transit can generate some tension or mental distress and worry. We’re inclined to obsess over an issue that we can’t control. If we harness the energy and use it for good, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of a matter. The Moon spends the day in balance-oriented Libra.
The void Moon occurs from 11:20 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Wednesday, December 1st, at 6:56 AM EST.
DECEMBER 1
The Moon continues its transit of Libra this morning, and we’re looking at things from a different perspective. The Moon’s transit of Scorpio from 6:56 AM forward stirs our interest in discovering deeper truths and motives. Neptune turns direct today after a retrograde phase since June 25th. Now and in the coming few weeks, confusing situations become more transparent. Our creativity soars, or at least, we are more confident about applying our imagination in the real world. Instead of thinking of this period as a time of disillusionment, we can see it as a time of illumination–when we increasingly see the light. We have more faith in our dreams and visions, in others, and in our belief systems. With this change of direction, we begin to seek inspiration from external sources. However, with Neptune at a station today, we may have difficulty focusing long enough to tackle a task adequately. A Sun-Pluto semi-square does suggest some struggle letting go. We might crave a sense of control over events, relationships, and circumstances, becoming frustrated at any sign that we don’t have it. Mercury forms a quincunx with Uranus today, which can find us feeling mentally unsettled. For now, it can be a challenge to gain others’ understanding. We should watch for poorly-considered decisions, impulsive communications, and disorganization leading to misunderstandings. We may be dealing with a lack of receptiveness to practical advice or unclear directions and instructions.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Scorpio today at 6:56 AM EST.
DECEMBER 2
We might commit to working through complex problems with a Chiron-Vesta trine this morning. It’s a strong time for tapping into our inner genius or personal potential and putting it to work for us. We can be determined to take better care of ourselves, and discoveries made now can fuel or reignite our motivation to pursue a particular path. The Moon spends the day in Scorpio, and we’re braver about facing emotional issues head-on. The Scorpio Moon aligns with Mars this evening, encouraging us to reach into our depths and get a little closer to understanding and exploring our needs and desires. This transit awakens emotional desire and stimulates some level of urgency.
DECEMBER 3
The Moon continues its transit of Scorpio until 7:14 AM EST, when it moves into Sagittarius, and we seek truth, knowledge, and experience. This morning, the Sun forms a quincunx to Uranus, and we could be dealing with minor changes of plans or a restless urge for change that interferes with the flow. With a Mars-Chiron minor challenging aspect tonight, there can be difficulties expressing anger or desires directly, and some touchiness is possible. Fear of being ineffective can undermine our confidence in taking new action or making clear decisions. In truth, it’s better to wind ourselves down than to start brand new ventures. Early tomorrow, a Solar Eclipse will occur, and today, the Moon is Balsamic. It’s an appropriate time to tie up loose ends and reflect on recent events.
The void Moon occurs from 12:23 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 7:14 AM EST.
DECEMBER 4
Early today, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Sagittarius, and it’s a total Solar Eclipse. This lunation can serve as a reset or desire/need to start fresh. We might focus on goals that will increase our understanding and awareness, give us the courage to expand our horizons, and gain confidence and optimism through a broader perspective. We can too quickly feel lost in the details of mundane existence. However, with this potent Sagittarius energy, we are now opening up to discover ways to transcend these details of day-to-day life and nurture our faith, hope, and vision. Because Sagittarius thinks in big terms, we might overdo our expectations. On the other hand, it’s an excellent time to be a little more adventurous, setting the stage for reaping the rewards from our braveries, whatever their magnitude, in the months ahead. We should watch for an inclination to fall back on distancing ourselves from problems and responsibilities. We need to make changes in our thought patterns, mainly through ridding ourselves of old habits. This is the final in a set of eclipses falling along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, the first of which occurred in June 2020. The Moon spends the day in spirited Sagittarius.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.

When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Sagittarius You’re now embarking on a trek into a land of dreams – not passive daydreams, but vibrant visions of what may be. The time has come to stop looking at the world as it is and asking why. Now’s the time to imagine the world as it could be, and the question has become: “Why not?” You also cannot do everything you imagine now, but you cannot do anything you don’t KNOW you can do – so believe, and dare to make it happen! This means expanding your mind, your belief system, your whole base of knowledge and experience. Time’s a wastin’ – let no grass grow between your toes!
Mercury in Sagittarius A time of expanding your mental horizons is at hand. Religion, philosophy, law, and education are some of the things that may have special importance for you now. Being in touch with faraway people and places satisfies an intellectual yearning – curiosity will take you anywhere and maybe everywhere.
Mars in Scorpio Tear it down and build it up again, reach in and pluck out the offending element: that’s what the new cycle you have entered is like. Power becomes a compelling idea, perhaps even an aphrodisiac – and you’ve got a stronger than usual supply of it now. Use it, don’t abuse it – or you might find that it’s a two-edged sword!
Jupiter in Aquarius Innovation, reform, and idealism are your paths to growth and gain now. New, futuristic ideas are part of this, but it’s much more than that: putting them into practice is essential because this is much more than empty idealism. A break from the past, a willingness to flaunt convention.
Saturn in Aquarius Ideals are in for a period of testing, as a new phase begins in your life. What are principles worth, unless they are put into practice? That’s an important question for you now. This could mean you may be disappointed by causes you believe in – but if you abandon your principles, you lose.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone, and everyone in their place…
