Romance & Relationship Report
Daily Trends
The FULL MOON occurs on Thursday, August 11th, 2022, at 9:36 PM EDT.
On Thursday night, the Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Leo forms an opposition to the Moon in Aquarius at 9:36 PM EDT. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
The Leo Sun is proud and intensely individual–not content with simply being just one of the team. The Aquarius Moon, while individualistic as well, values independence and the team, community, and group spirit. In essence, the Full Moon illuminates this conflict.
When a Full Moon occurs, we can suddenly burst forth with proclamations and outpours that seem fresh and new, simply because they are not yet rationalized. In fact, a Full Moon illuminates feelings, attitudes, and circumstances that are already in existence.
This is a time of awakening to the need for others or to answer to humanitarian impulses.
This lunation connects with Saturn and is square Uranus, suggesting some stop-and-go energy connected to our realizations and epiphanies. Whether to stick with what’s familiar and tried-and-true or to innovate can be a dilemma now.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 19 degrees and 21 minutes of Aquarius, opposite the Sun at the same degree of Leo, and affecting planets at approximately 15 to 23 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) the most.

This week: The Sun is in Leo; Mercury is in Virgo; Venus is in Cancer until August 11th, when it enters Leo; Mars is in Taurus.
The Sun is in Leo from July 22-August 22. In Leo, the Sun is proud, outgoing, and playful. The Leo Sun is intensely individual—not content with simply being just one of the team. It’s time to shine, add a touch of color and drama to our lives, and perform.
We’re blossoming–it’s a time when we want to enjoy ourselves and express ourselves. We are more generous and grand in our gestures and attitudes. On the shadow side, we can also be self-centered and vain.
While the Sun is in Leo, we take the high road, and we’re very often motivated by the idea of gaining respect and affection. We more naturally express joy, humor, and warmth during the Sun-in-Leo cycle. We also tend to take the lead or become the center of attention and activity.
Mercury is in Virgo from August 4-25. [Later, during Mercury’s retrograde, Mercury will return to Virgo from September 23-October 10, 2022.] When Mercury is in Virgo, precision in speech, thought, and process are more important to us. This is a time when we analyze and decide what is useful and what we deem to be impractical.
Mercury feels right at home in Virgo, one of the signs that it rules (Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo). Dealing with details is natural and easy now. We need to be careful that we don’t lose perspective if we find ourselves lost in details, however.
While Mercury is in Virgo, we should also be aware of the possibility of expressing ourselves in a too factual manner, so much so that we come across as dry, critical, or unimaginative.
We gravitate to useful information, and we can enjoy helping others with our knowledge. It’s a time for analyzing and dissecting, but we need other influences to put the pieces together or to see the bigger picture as our confidence in so doing is not strong at this time. It’s a time of conservative thinking and a strong tendency to want facts and certainties.
Venus is in Cancer from July 17-August 11. In Cancer, Venus is nurturing, protective and self-protective, cautious, and fertile. We experience many emotional ups and downs in love under this influence due to our increased sensitivity and impressionability. We are tender, romantic, and attached. We could be clingy or sulky during this period.
Cancer love is dedicated, warm, and devoted. We show our love through our devotion, care, and concern. We are affectionate and cuddly, and are at our best when we feel safe and secure. We also want to make our loved ones feel safe and comfortable.
It’s a good cycle for collecting and money related to real estate, accommodation, food, coins, silver, or antiques. We enjoy homey, familiar pastimes and art and simple pleasures.
Cautious with our feelings, we are not always confident about boldly trying or sharing new things during this cycle. However, we do whatever we can to make our loved ones feel special. Our memories are long, and we can be very sentimental.
Venus is in Leo from August 11-September 5. Love is magnificent and grand while Venus is in Leo. We take pride in love, and we are generous with our money as well. This is a warmhearted, teasing, expressive, proud, and extravagant placement for Venus. Love is a bit of a game–a game that is perpetual, as Venus in Leo is forever stuck in the romance stage of a relationship. We feed on attention, acknowledgement, validation, and adoration.
Venus in Leo loves to be adored, pampered, and admired. Pride and passion are hallmarks of this cycle. We have a strong ego investment in our love lives during this period. The negative expression of this placement is overstating our feelings simply for the effect, as well as extravagance.
The Venus-in-Leo cycle can be a strong or profitable time for contests, lotteries, parties, recreation, drama, adornment, jewelry, costumes, art dealing, and all things golden. Generosity and warmth contribute to our ability to draw in the right resources. We can have a compelling desire to stand out, be remarkable, and feel special during this period.
Mars is in Taurus from July 5-August 20. During this cycle, we are determined, stubborn, and resolute. Mars in Taurus can be passive until provoked, and is at its strongest when digging in its heels, outlasting, or defending something! In stark contrast to the impulsive Mars in Aries cycle, we tend to pursue our goals by plodding along patiently. We seek longevity and long-term satisfaction.
While Mars is in Taurus, we’re slow to change course or get started but persevering. Preferring methodical work over creative methods, we seek predictability and stability. We can be stubborn and resistant to change, and we’ll work hardest for material security. It’s not a time when we readily take risks. Instead, we seek concrete, long-lasting results. Our stamina is great, and our cravings and physical needs/desires are prominent.
Jupiter is in Aries.
Jupiter is in Aries from May 10 to October 28, 2022. This is part one of two, with the second and final part occurring from December 20, 2022, to May 16, 2023. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Aries.
Jupiter will head back into Pisces from October 28 to December 20, 2022–the final part of three in the Jupiter-in-Pisces transit. Read more about the Jupiter in Pisces transit.
Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July 1, 2020, and from December 17th, 2020, until March 7, 2023. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aquarius.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Cancer from July 17-August 11. We treat lovers with sympathy and tenderness, providing the emotional nurturing that they need. We tend to “play it safe” when it comes to relationships. Love and devotion are most important to us, and provide us with a sense of inner security. We seek a deep love in which we can merge souls and personalities with our lover. We are quite devoted to our partners, and we seek such devotion in return.
However, we could also become possessive, manipulative, and stifling. Familiarity is more important to us now. Our fear of rejection is overdeveloped, and we offer our hearts cautiously as a result. We pay more attention to our lovers’ feelings than their words. We feel threatened if a lover acts in an impersonal, overly independent, or detached manner. Safe and solid relationships are more appealing. Romantic and emotional hurts are very hard to forget.
In Cancer, Venus is nurturing, protective and self-protective, cautious, and fertile. We experience many emotional ups and downs in love under this influence due to increased sensitivity and impressionability. We are tender, romantic, and attached. Cancer love is dedicated, warm, and devoted. We show our love through our devotion, care, and concern. We are affectionate and cuddly, and are at our best when we feel safe and secure.
Venus is in Leo from August 11-September 5. Love is magnificent and grand!
This week: On Sunday, the 7th, we treat lovers with more tenderness or we see them in a more sensitive, obliging light. We’re particularly open to romance, and we can be quite sensitive to others’ needs and backstories. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions, taking the pressure off in personal relationships.
On Monday and Tuesday, envy, jealousy, and possessiveness can enter the picture if we let fear drive our behavior. Buried fears and resentments in our relationships can bubble up and demand attention. It’s a period of intense feelings, as well as possible emotional distress and tension caused by romantic troubles or social manipulation. Fears of betrayal may get the best of us.
However, it’s a strong time for getting in touch with problem areas that may have been undermining us and our relationships. Although this can be purging, troubles can emerge in disruptive ways and mindfulness can help. It might be difficult to get close to one another under these conditions, but with self-honesty, it can be a good time to get in touch with our vulnerability.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Cancer Mothering (or being mothered), sympathy, a yearning to put down roots, and a fondness for things that have stood the test of time – these are some of the hallmarks of the phase that now begins in your life. Romantic and social experiences, as well as artistic tastes, will show evidence of these factors.
Venus in Leo Romance becomes an end in itself as a new cycle begins for you. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth.
Venus quincunx Saturn August 5. A feeling that we may not be able to express our affections, or that our affections will not be received well, can undermine us in our relationships. Fear of rejection, emotional distancing, and over-sensitivity.
Venus trine Neptune August 6-7. We perceive romantic situations as if they were “designed” just for us. A magical, romantic time. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. Romance is highly favored. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships.
Venus opposition Pluto August 8-9. This is a period of intense feelings, as well as possible emotional distress and tension caused by romantic troubles or social manipulation. An experience of being used or abused physically, emotionally or sexually may cause us suffering or disappointment. Sexually driven emotions are likely now. Fears of betrayal may get the best of us.
Venus trine Jupiter August 17-18. Harmony and good will reign under this influence. Expansive feelings in love, and a feeling that anything is possible if we set our sights high enough, are experienced now. We are friendly, big-hearted, sociable, and optimistic. It is easy to make social contacts under this influence. Cheerfulness, trust, and confidence in love and social matters.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Monday, August 8th, from 6:31 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 2:39 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, August 10th, from 12:40 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 2:46 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, August 12th, from 7:08 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces at 2:46 PM EDT.
August 2022:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 11th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). After the Full Moon on the 11th, the Moon is waning, which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, also with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs on Saturday, August 13th, from approximately 4:05 PM EDT, until Sunday, August 14th, at approximately 11:05 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Pisces.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Venus trine Neptune. We are more attuned to the world of beauty, the arts, and the imagination. Compassion, harmony, kindness, and openness characterize this transit. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. This can be a “magical” time on a romantic and social level. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships. Romance is highly favored.
Mars square Saturn. Frustrations, smoldering anger, and a feeling of being blocked when we are attempting to go after what we want characterize this transit. Our desire to take action and to constructively express our aggressive urges feels thwarted or blocked. It can feel like more effort than usual is required to complete tasks.
Sun trine Chiron. A sense of purpose or a “mission” is with us now, increasing our confidence. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong. Problem solving is favored.
Venus opposition Pluto. An intense emotional or sexual attraction, a very revealing, intimate encounter, or a powerful desire to be close to and share our deepest feelings with someone is very likely now. Emotions and issues in a close relationship that have been brewing beneath the surface for quite awhile come to the surface at this time, possibly in a very disruptive way. All of our relationships intensify and we need to be aware of a tendency to act in a rather compulsive, demanding way towards others. This is an “all or nothing” energy. Manipulative behavior, fear of betrayal, and power struggles are possible.
Mercury quincunx (inconjunct) Jupiter. We may have big ideas under this influence, but we may also overestimate our abilities or underestimate the situation. Avoid jumping into something without planning ahead, as important details are too easy to overlook. Also, avoid making promises you may not be able to fulfill, and read the fine print!
Mars semi-square Jupiter. Although we may have much enthusiasm for life and for new projects, over-confidence and over-estimation of what we can do is likely. We are ready and willing to fight for our beliefs. We may be excitable and competitive. Jumping ahead without considering the consequences can be costly.
Sun square Uranus. We can’t expect much of anything when the Sun squares Uranus, except the unexpected! Disrupted routines and plans are in order, which help to stimulate the adoption of new approaches. During this transit, we feel the need for action, but if we don’t know where we’re headed, we might take the wrong turn. Unexpected changes in plans or events can test our patience, and we might feel a bit out of control. However, they could stimulate us to try new approaches and they certainly act to cut boredom. This transit could offer us the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Pluto. “Suspicious minds” characterize this transit, although if we harness the energy, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of any matter. Mistrust, investigations. Some level of mental stress and pressure. A troubled mind.
Mars sextile Neptune. Inspiration might be found now, and our intuition is strong. This influence favors dancing, swimming, photography, arts, entertainment. There can be letting go of anger, or a softening of the disposition now.

AUGUST 7
Venus forms a trine to Neptune midday, and we trust others first before judging, preferring to cooperate, not compete. We see the very best in people now, taking the pressure off personal relationships. We’re also inclined to glamorize objects, situations, and pleasures. We prioritize spiritual and emotional concerns over material ones at this time. It’s easier to tap into our inner spiritual wisdom and draw on compassion. We’re also more attuned to the world of beauty, the arts, and the imagination. However, Mars forms a square to Saturn this afternoon, and energies shift considerably. Ambitions and accomplishments are strong on our minds. There can be obstacles to surmount, and we could feel blocked from asserting ourselves or pursuing our desires. It’s a time to slow down and make adjustments and edits, as we may encounter resistance if we push ahead. It can seem like more effort than usual is required to complete tasks. We might deal with disapproval or a dip in confidence, and we should draw on patience and aim to develop our endurance. It’s a better time for maintenance than it is for moving forward. We might recognize some of our limits and adjust our speed accordingly.
AUGUST 8
The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius until 2:39 PM EDT, when it heads into Capricorn. While the Sagittarius Moon is exploratory, we can be quite determined, resolved, and goal-oriented with the Moon in Capricorn. We seek order and structure in our lives. Still, the Sun forms a trine to Chiron, encouraging a holistic approach to problem-solving. There can be opportunities to learn, grow, and improve, mainly through spontaneity, self-assertion, and courage. With less concern about who’s right or wrong, we’re open to learning and growing. Our egos don’t get in the way, helping us make real progress. Fortunately, we’re putting our respect in the right places. The chance to find a sense of purpose or a “mission” can arise now, increasing our confidence.
However, as the day advances, we head toward a Venus-Pluto opposition, exact very early tomorrow. With this tense transit, we’re confronting areas of our lives where we might be holding onto something too tightly for fear of losing it. There can be confrontations or events that bring complicated feelings and fears to a head. It’s possible we make uncomfortable discoveries now, and while some of these can ultimately help us, we may be pushing too far for answers. We should watch for manipulative behavior that can arise from insecurities or fear of betrayal.
The void Moon occurs from 6:31 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 2:39 PM EDT.
AUGUST 9
Mercury forms a quincunx and Mars a semi-square to Jupiter today, and our estimates can be off. We might waver, unable to reach a wholly satisfying decision or conclusion, making it better to reserve judgment. It’s too easy to overestimate our abilities or underestimate the situation, or we might see-saw between alternatives. Whatever the case, it may be best to avoid jumping into something without planning, as necessary details are too easy to overlook at the moment. The competitive feelings we might experience now can be stimulating and invigorating, but we may not get the timing or estimation of our capabilities right. It’s best to wait out sudden urges since they may not hold weight over time and make it a goal to manage disorganization. Helping with this is the Moon in Capricorn (all day). This transit favors order and structure.
AUGUST 10
The Moon continues to move through the sign of Capricorn until 2:46 PM EDT, when it enters Aquarius. The Aquarius Moon is fair-minded–we see all sides on a matter and can be more invested in our friendships, connections, and happiness goals. New techniques or options can emerge. The Sun forms a square to the North Node of the Moon today and to Uranus tomorrow morning, pointing to some dissatisfaction and disagreement. We could be moving in directions counter to our growth, perhaps allowing matters of ego to work against us. Circumstances may take us out of our comfort zone with a jolt that feels disruptive and counter-productive at first glance.
The void Moon occurs from 12:40 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 2:46 PM EDT.
AUGUST 11
It’s an astrologically busy day. The Sun-Uranus square this morning can destabilize some parts of our lives temporarily, or it can highlight problem areas that already exist. Our strong desire for independence or to break the rules could impair our judgment. Changes we make now may feel out of character or abrupt. Disrupted routines and plans are likely, and while they can be unsettling at first, they can also encourage new approaches. Disruptions can pull up buried frustrations, which we should examine more closely. It can be a time to learn something new about ourselves. Nevertheless, we should watch for being irresponsible in our rebellions and guard against temperamental behavior and decision-making. A Mercury-Pluto challenge can complicate communications.
On the other hand, a Mars-Neptune sextile this afternoon encourages a more inspired or gentle approach to pursuing our desires. With this transit in force, we actively seek inspiration. Our intuitive guidance can be put to practical use, especially if it helps increase our sense of security. There can be the letting go of anger or a softening of the disposition now. We prefer to cooperate or go our own way than compete. We are also ready to act on our compassion, communicating our intentions through actions and gestures, and our intuition for making the right moves is strong. We might open up to unusual or alternative healing methods or the use of compassion and forgiveness for healing purposes. Creative arts can thrive.
Venus enters Leo today, and it will transit the sign until September 5th. During this transit, we take pride in love, and we’re generous with our money. It’s a warm-hearted, playful, expressive, and proud placement for Venus. During this transit, we tend to feed on attention, acknowledgment, validation, and adoration. We can have a high ego investment in our money, love life, children, or pastimes. It’s best to watch for extravagance and overstating our feelings only for effect.
A Full Moon occurs in Aquarius at 9:36 PM EDT, and it’s a time of culmination. The Leo Sun is proud and intensely individual–not content with only being one of the team. While also individualistic, the Aquarius Moon values independence and the team, community, and group spirit. With the Leo Sun in opposition to the Aquarius Moon, the Full Moon illuminates this conflict. When a Full Moon occurs, there can be proclamations and outpours that can be raw. It also brings light to feelings, attitudes, and circumstances that have been buried or overlooked. It’s a time to awaken to the need for others or to answer to humanitarian impulses.
AUGUST 12
The Moon continues its transit of Aquarius until 2:46 PM EDT. While we’re generally more objective with an Aquarius Moon, the Moon’s square to Mars this morning fires up our feelings and stirs up our need for action, activity, and challenges. With Venus quintile Uranus, we’re noticing and appreciating the more unique elements of people, situations, and projects today. The Pisces Moon from 2:46 PM forward encourages us to connect with our imaginative, compassionate side. We might avoid confrontations or challenging situations with this Moon transit.
The void Moon occurs from 7:08 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces at 2:46 PM EDT.
AUGUST 13
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Pisces, and it’s a time to ease up just a little. The Pisces Moon is compassionate and spiritual and favors winding down and connecting with our intuition. Even so, there can be some disconnect between our emotions and intellect with the Moon’s opposition to Mercury this afternoon. Minor disagreements, especially about sensitivity to feelings, are more likely now. The Moon’s sextile to Uranus tonight helps us go with the flow, but we’re heading toward a Sun-Saturn opposition, exact tomorrow, and feeling restricted or blocked can figure strongly. While this tense energy doesn’t overrule the Moon-Uranus sextile, it can certainly overshadow it.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
When the Moon is in Aquarius
Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal, under this influence. This is a time that promotes social gatherings, dealing with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and progressive changes. We are open to new methods of doing things and we have our eye on the future. It can be hard to stick to schedules now, as personal freedom is most important to us.
The Moon in Aquarius generally favors the following activities: Unusual or radical undertakings, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, joining a group.
When the Moon is in Pisces
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Leo “This I do for me” is your motto at a time like this. This is your time to shine, like a swirl of star-stuff that has finally reached critical mass and suddenly starts to give off more light than it receives. Issues of pride, mastery, and appreciation become more and more central to your life-stream as this cycle progresses, as does a very important lesson: it’s not what you do so much as how you do it, not who you are so much as how you make others feel about themselves. If it doesn’t come from the heart, it shouldn’t matter now.
Mercury in Virgo Mental discipline and patience are keynoted as you enter into a new cycle. Thinking things through, accounting for all the details, making careful measurements: these and similar experiences keep your mind active and involved. An interest in health and work may come to the fore.
Mars in Taurus Making the most of what you’ve got, striving for security and stability: that’s the impulse that stirs in you as a new cycle begins in your life. New frontiers? That’s kid’s stuff for you now! What you want is to build something that will last: a pyramid, a Great Wall – you know, that sort of thing. Steady, patient, solid: that’s your style now.
Jupiter in Aries Faith in yourself and your future is emphasized as you begin this new cycle. A feeling that anything is possible leads to new ventures, a clean break from the past. At its best, this is a very positive and optimistic new cycle in your life, but at times, overconfidence can border on foolhardy bravery. Don’t burn your bridges behind you!
Saturn in Aquarius Ideals are in for a period of testing, as a new phase begins in your life. What are principles worth, unless they are put into practice? That’s an important question for you now. This could mean you may be disappointed by causes you believe in – but if you abandon your principles, you lose.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone, and everyone in their place…
