Daily Trends
The FULL MOON will occur on Sunday, October 13th, 2019, at 5:08 PM EDT.
The First Quarter Moon occurred last week on October 5th, and the Full Moon will occur on Sunday, October 13th, early next week. The Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Libra forms an opposition to the Moon in Aries and is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents “self” and Libra represents “other.” Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. The energy of the Libra Sun is the awareness of the need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them–compromising, negotiating, graciousness, and balancing. The Aries Moon, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous.
This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and attending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. The Libra Sun is diplomatic, equality-minded, and fair-minded. The Aries Moon, however, values authenticity over tact and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict. Neglecting either end of the Aries-Libra axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do.
This Full Moon is about emotional declarations. Something has been building inside of us, likely of a personal nature, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this declaration means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them. The Full Moon illuminates the conflict between “me” and “you”, and between autonomy and sharing. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic illumination occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is new and not particularly rational as yet. With the Full Moon forming a square to Pluto (tightly) and Saturn, as well as a sextile to Jupiter (tightly), there can be pressures and a bit of paranoia attached to our realizations, but also a real sense that we can accomplish what we set out to do.
This lunation reminds us to consider how we are honoring ourselves in the context of our close relationships. New revelations can occur now, particularly in the areas of our physical bodies, leadership skills, our ability to initiate and begin new things, and our close partnerships. We can struggle with obstacles or what appear to be harsh realities, but we’re optimistic and resourceful.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 20 degrees and 14 minutes of Aries opposite the Sun at the same degree of Libra, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 16 to 24 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly.

(Times are Eastern)
This week: The Sun is in Libra; Mercury is in Scorpio; Venus is in Libra until the 8th, after which Venus is in Scorpio; Mars is in Libra.
The Sun is in Libra from September 23-October 23. Libra rules relationships with others as mirrors of ourselves. Meeting others halfway, compromise, and negotiation come under the rule of Libra. The focus is now on balance–finding balance and harmony through relationships with others and through art. Libra is the sign of the peacemaker. However, life is not always peaceful with Libra in its attempt to restore balance. Decision-making can be more challenging while the Sun is in Libra. Libra weighs both sides of any situation, and sometimes this process seems endless! In Libra, the Sun is concerned about not rocking the boat and not rubbing others the wrong way. Tactfulness, style, tolerance, and sociability are some of the keywords for Libra. On the shadow side, Libra can be self-serving, indecisive, passive-aggressive, and superficial.
Mercury is in Scorpio from October 3-December 9. When Mercury is in Scorpio, our thoughts and communications are more probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and to arrive at fair solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover. We tend to probe, observe, and focus our thoughts under this influence. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. Our thoughts are profound. We throw away the superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations. Scorpio is extremely sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking is inclined to be one-track minded, focused, and even obsessive.
Venus is in Libra from September 14-October 8. As this new cycle takes hold in your life, romance and social interaction take on greater importance for you. Harmonious ties to others are what you yearn for; refinement and elegance are what you seek. The ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty – these are some of the things that quicken your pulse now.
Venus is in Scorpio from October 8-November 1. Deeply passionate relations are in focus with Venus in the sign of Scorpio. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special–contact that breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. This is a highly emotional position for Venus. It is passionate, sensual, and intense energy. Our relationships are immensely important to us, and we may even feel that they consume us. In fact, we tend to want to be consumed by them! Our drive is toward intense closeness, but blind faith in our partners is extremely hard for us now. Fears of being too vulnerable or of giving up our own power to others are strong. Scorpio is an “all or nothing” energy, and relationships tend to be somewhat of a rollercoaster ride as a result. Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can compel us to create crises in order to feel alive and vital.
Mars is in Libra from October 4-November 19. We tend to use our charm as a means to an end under the influence of this cycle. Because we can see many different sides to an issue, we can be vacillating and indecisive about how to act. We don’t want to be the “bad guy”, and rarely resort to force. Instead, we attempt to win arguments with style. We are indirect in approach and inclined towards engaging in mental debates, yet we also attempt to make the opposition comfortable! Passive-aggressiveness is the shadow side of this energy.
Jupiter entered Sagittarius on November 8th, 2018, and transits the sign until December 2nd, 2019. Read more about the Jupiter in Sagittarius transit.
Saturn transits Capricorn from December 19/20, 2017, to March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here.
Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus first transited Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and is now consistently in the sign (since March 6th, 2019) until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Libra from September 14 to October 8, 2019. Venus rules Libra and thus is dignified in the sign. Venus feels right “at home” in Libra, where she seeks to balance and harmonize. With Venus in Libra, we can easily be in love with love. We are more comfortable with a close partner with whom we can seek to have a balanced relationship. We are more inclined to employ charm rather than aggressive behavior in order to get what we want. Although Venus in Libra virtually lives for relationships, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We are very obliging with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. We can be especially idealistic about love. We prefer things to be done the “right” way, and we’re turned off by aggressive or uncouth behavior. The shadow side of this position is dependence, inconsistency, and superficiality. In an attempt to avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to our partners but privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so!
Venus is in Scorpio from October 8 to November 1, 2019. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with Venus in Scorpio. If a relationship becomes too settled or predictable, we may crave more intensity and catalytic experience. Jealousies, fears of betrayal, and power games are the shadow side of Venus in Scorpio. We may easily become obsessed with a fear that our partners might be betraying us, or that they are not as consumed and dedicated to the relationship as us. This can lead us to try to uncover the “truth”, reading too many negative possibilities in our partners’ actions and words.
This week: On Wednesday and Thursday, we can feel on the fence or undecided. It’s not an ideal time for a full-on expression of feelings. On Friday and Saturday, we can feel torn between wanting our freedom and independence and craving company. We can be thrown off-center by feelings or revelations in our relationships.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Libra September 14-October 8.
Venus in Scorpio October 8-November 1. This is way beyond love, all the way to obsession – that’s the nature of the cycle that now takes hold in your life. We’re not talking just lukewarm WANT here; we’re talking red-hot got to have! Passion, jealousy, possession: these are the kinds of experiences that can flow from the intensity that courses through you at one level or another now – voracious.
Venus square Pluto September 30-October 1. Intense passions, but there’s a hidden agenda. Jealousy and possessiveness are high, in direct proportion to fear of losing partnership. Avoid starting a new relationship at this time, because it can be characterized by these energies.
Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune October 9. Romantic confusion as well as relationship ups and downs. Self-deceptions may come to light now.
Venus quincunx Chiron October 10. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Venus semi-square Jupiter October 11-12. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus opposition Uranus October 12. Not a good time to start relationships. Independence is the reigning need. Some fickleness. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness.
Venus trine North Node October 16-17. We are more concerned about harmonizing and tend to be agreeable and cooperative. We could feel lucky in love, and we could meet someone who is good for us. Fortunate connections might be made now.
Venus sextile Saturn October 19-20. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships. Relationships begun under this influence possess a distinctly practical theme, almost as if the partnership is a business endeavor.
Venus trine Neptune October 20-21. We perceive romantic situations as if they were “designed” just for us. A magical, romantic time. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. Romance is highly favored. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships.
Venus sesquiquadrate Chiron October 22. Love cannot be forced. This is not a commitment-friendly transit, as we may feel alienated for no apparent reason and unwilling to give of ourselves.
Venus sextile Pluto October 24-25. Subtly powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, October 6th, from 7:26 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Venus), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 11:42 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, October 8th, from 2:26 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Pisces the next day, October 9th, at 12:05 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, October 11th, from 5:55 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aries the next day, Saturday, October 12th, at 12:45 AM EDT.
October 2019:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
The Moon is waxing this week and is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs from approximately Monday, October 7th, at approximately 12:40 PM, until Tuesday, October 8th, at approximately 2:20 PM EDT, while the Moon is in Aquarius (although it’s better after 4:10 PM EDT on October 7th forward). A small window occurs on October 11th from 5:00 AM to 5:50 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Pisces.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Mercury opposition Uranus. We are distracted. Our communications get lost, are interrupted, or are misunderstood. Disagreements with others are quite possible. It’s not a good time to present an argument or an important idea.
Sun square Saturn. As we face obstacles to our goals, we begin to see the tools with which we have to overcome them. A heavy dose of realism seems forced upon us under this influence, but our efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately increase our confidence in our ability to be responsible for ourselves. This influence is a somber one.
Mars opposition Chiron. We are unlikely to be clear about how to go about getting what we want directly under this influence. We might feel rebellious when faced with others’ plans, but also unclear about our own direction. We may be defensive and touchy, and resentments or frustrations can surface now. Watch for self-righteous, superior, or rebellious attitudes when a gentler approach would work best.
Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune. Happiness is addictive under this influence. We tend to see what we want to see. Glossing over the more realistic points, details, and flaws of circumstances and of people provides us with instant gratification. However, it’s wise to hold off on making important purchases, or natalizing a relationship until the veil lifts. Take care with legal, financial, and social involvements, contracts, or formal agreements under this dreamy influence.
Sun quincunx Neptune. It can be difficult to concentrate and to formulate clear goals just now. Misconceptions abound. Fear of being ineffective can undermine our confidence when it comes to making clear or definite decisions, and for doing new things.
Venus quincunx Chiron. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Mars quincunx Uranus. Making adjustments to our goals may be necessary now, and this can temporarily drain our energy or make us feel restless and impatient.
Venus semi-square Jupiter. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. Problems in our personal life likely won’t get resolved under this influence. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.
Venus opposition Uranus. Sudden attractions that may not last come under this influence. Similarly, impulsive attractions to material items that later prove to be unappealing occur now. This is not a good time to start a new relationship nor for any significant financial undertaking. Values and tastes may clash, and group activities may suffer as a result. Impulsive attractions to both people and material goods can lead us astray. Avoid impulse buys at this time. Some instability, restlessness, and rebelliousness are probable in romantic relationships. We may not see eye to eye, and we might be taken off guard by unexpected events. This is not a favorable aspect for beauty treatments because they could have unexpected results. We may struggle with freedom versus intimacy issues at this time. It’s wise to hold off on decision-making with regard to finances and relationships. However, if we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might open ourselves up to new ways of dealing with others.

OCTOBER 6
The Moon continues its transit of Capricorn for most of the day–until 11:42 PM EDT when it enters Aquarius. We’re a little more ambitious and concerned with making things work under the influence of a Capricorn Moon. With Mercury and Uranus heading toward an opposition (exact early tomorrow), there can be some mental tension, miscommunication, or changes of mind or plans, and resistance to ideas today. These, however, can lead to new insights if we’re open to them. We can be confrontational or controversial now. It may not be the best time to present an argument or an important idea, but friction stimulated can challenge us to learn more about our minds and opinions. Epiphanies and unusual insights can occur now.
The void Moon occurs from 7:26 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Venus), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 11:42 PM EDT.
OCTOBER 7
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Aquarius, and we’re drawn to new and unique ways of approaching the world around us. The Sun’s square to Saturn today can have a restrictive effect on us, however. We may face obstacles to our goals, but through them, we can more clearly see the tools with which we have to overcome them. We need to consider the reality or practical side of a situation and may need to assume more responsibility now. We may be facing reality on a matter, and our efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately boost our confidence in our ability to be responsible for ourselves. This is a time for thinking about what’s best in the long term, and it may mean forgoing or limiting something in the present.
OCTOBER 8
The Moon spends the day in Aquarius, harmonizing with the Libra Sun and Jupiter in Sagittarius. There is good energy with us for a team effort, and some emotional detachment can be refreshing now. However, Venus enters Scorpio today for a stay until November 1st. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with this Venus transit. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special that breaks the norms, is intense, and is unforgettable. This is a highly emotional and passionate position for Venus. We look for projects, pleasures, and relationships that consume us. Fears of being too vulnerable or of giving up our power to others are intense. We’re especially adept at handling money and resources during this cycle. Today’s Mars-Chiron opposition can complicate our lives if we can’t see how to pursue our interests and desires in a direct, straightforward way. We can be defensive and touchy, and resentments or frustrations can surface now. Watch for self-righteous, superior, or rebellious attitudes when a gentler approach is preferable.
The void Moon occurs from 2:26 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Pisces the next day, October 9th, at 12:05 PM EDT.
OCTOBER 9
The Moon continues its transit of Aquarius until 12:05 PM, after which it moves into the sign of Pisces. Both the Sun and Venus are in minor challenging aspect with Neptune today, suggesting some adjustments to our expectations needed. Glossing over the more realistic points, details, and flaws of circumstances and people can provide us with instant gratification. However, it’s best to hold off on big decisions until the veil lifts. These influences call for some slowing down. There can be second-guessing or trouble effectively accessing our intuition now. It can be difficult to concentrate and to formulate clear goals, but there can be important reminders to connect with our needs for more imagination in our lives.
The Moon is void until 12:05 PM EDT when it enters Pisces.
OCTOBER 10
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Pisces and is a gentle, creative, and compassionate transit. This is a time for winding down and taking a break from the usual pace. The Pisces Moon understands that taking some downtime ultimately helps us to be more productive. Emotional or mental refreshment is useful for gaining perspective now. Perhaps most importantly, this is a time for making connections in our brains as we head into “diffuse mode” to process and digest rather than focus too intently on specific material. A quincunx forms between Venus and Chiron today, however, and insecurity might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly. There could be feelings of discontent in relationships or a difficult choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions.
OCTOBER 11
The Moon spends another day in the sign of Pisces, stimulating the need to wind down or mellow out. This transit can serve to heighten our awareness of our spiritual nature and needs. We can also be evasive, or we might shy away from conflict, especially confrontation. The Moon’s sextile to Pluto today, however, can help us stay present when appropriate. We head towards a Mars-Uranus quincunx, which may temporarily drain our energy or leave us feeling restless and impatient until we figure out what we’re missing or not yet processing. Making adjustments to our goals may be necessary now. If we’re not in touch with our need to make changes, we could feel a little tense.
The Moon is void from 5:55 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aries the next day, Saturday, October 12th, at 12:45 AM EDT.
OCTOBER 12
The Moon enters Aries shortly into the day, and we’re ready to go our own way, pioneer, and initiate. With Uranus strong and challenged today, there is an unpredictable or rebellious theme. Impulsive attractions to people, things, and even situations are likely now. Some instability, restlessness, and rebelliousness are probable in romantic relationships. We may not see eye to eye, and unexpected events or feelings may take us off guard. Our needs for comfort and togetherness appear to clash with the desire to be free and independent. If we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might open ourselves up to new ways of relating that accommodate our diverse needs. Venus is semi-square Jupiter today, and we may feel restless in our relationships or with entertainment and pleasures. When it comes to people and things, we should watch that we aren’t idealizing what we don’t have or something new and fresh rather than honoring what we already have. It can be a time of dramatic statements or impulsive purchases. The tendency to overdo is strong. However, we can also tap into a need for change and improvement and tame our impulses to go overboard.
The Moon is void until 12:45 AM EDT when it enters Aries.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
When the Moon is in Aquarius
Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal, under this influence. This is a time that promotes social gatherings, dealing with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and progressive changes. We are open to new methods of doing things and we have our eye on the future. It can be hard to stick to schedules now, as personal freedom is most important to us.
The Moon in Aquarius generally favors the following activities: Unusual or radical undertakings, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, joining a group.
When the Moon is in Pisces
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Libra Meeting yourself in another person is the keynote of a new cycle that begins for you now. Relationships – romantic, business, social – are the arena where this drama is played out. In coming to know the other person, forging ties that bind two people, you come to a better understanding of yourself. It’s easy in theory, but it’s only in practice that it comes to mean anything real – so practice until you get it right!
Mercury in Scorpio A pronounced curiosity about taboos and mysteries plays a greater part in your life now. Your mind is on cutting through the nonessentials and penetrating to the core is where your mind is at now; you want to know who (or what) pulls the strings. Sex, taxes, investments, and others of life’s most compelling phenomena may captivate your interest more than ever before.
Venus in Libra As this new cycle takes hold in your life, romance and social interaction take on greater importance for you. Harmonious ties to others are what you yearn for; refinement and elegance are what you seek. The ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty – these are some of the things that quicken your pulse now.
Venus in Scorpio This is way beyond love, all the way to obsession – that’s the nature of the cycle that now takes hold in your life. We’re not talking just lukewarm WANT here; we’re talking red-hot GOT TO HAVE! Passion, jealousy, possession: these are the kinds of experiences that can flow from the intensity that courses through you at one level or another now – voracious.
Mars in Libra “I’m giving you a definite maybe” – that’s the motto of the cycle you’re now entering. It’s a time of refinement and tact, of an urge to please others that is so strong as to make it hard to decide or act for fear of offending someone. You’ll quickly learn to balance this out, or you’ll discover that there is no peace in compromise – and this can be tough on close relationships. The trick is to find the win-win solution to the no-win situation – and if anyone’s ever up to it, you are now.
Jupiter in Sagittarius Faith, optimism, and a yearning to explore all kinds of new horizons: these are some of the focal points in your life at this time. Travel, education, and other ways to stretch your horizons open new doors of opportunity. Religious, philosophical, and cultural matters are likely to have special appeal for you now; transmitting ideas on a broader scale brings gain.
Saturn in Capricorn Responsibility, hard work, ambition, and achievement: these are the foundations you need to build on now, as a new cycle dawns in your life. And yet, there is a tendency to be a little too hard, perhaps a bit cold, in your approach to these things. Let ambition take you to the top, but don’t let it lull you into thinking that the end justifies the means.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
