Romance & Relationship Report
Daily Trends
The FULL MOON occurs on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 10:53 AM EST.
On Tuesday morning, the Full Moon occurs in the sign of Virgo. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
With the Virgo-Pisces service axis involved, this Full Moon presses us to find a balance between day-to-day functions and routines, physical health, and the need for order (Virgo) and vision, spiritual health, disorder, and the infinite (Pisces). Virgo rules the tools and techniques that we use to deal with day-to-day life, while Pisces rules the tools that we use to deal with our spiritual selves. Some sort of crisis (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs within the context of the house polarity where the Full Moon occurs in our natal charts.
This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between work and service, practicality and impracticality, criticism and acceptance. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them. Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is not particularly rational as yet.
This is an eyes-wide-open time for our work, habits, health, and routines. We are likely to receive strong messages from our intuition, and these feelings may emerge from a feeling of being stuck in a frustrating situation.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 0 degrees and 42 minutes of Virgo opposite the Sun at 0 degrees and 42 minutes of Pisces, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 27 to 30 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) and 0 to 5 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.

(Times are Eastern)
This week: The Sun is in Aquarius until February 18th, after which the Sun is in Pisces; Mercury is in Pisces; Venus is in Capricorn; Mars is in Taurus.
The Sun is in Aquarius from January 20-February 18. During this cycle, we are motivated by our hunger for knowledge, experience, and originality. Innovation is more important to us than convention. We become more aware of what is outdated in our lives, and we strive to find new perspectives and new ways to do things. The class distinctions, structure, and order that Capricorn finds appealing now seem to be too rigid. The freedom of the individual becomes far more significant to us. We strive to free ourselves from some of the restrictions, inhibitions, and limitations that now feel constraining rather than safe.
The Sun is in Pisces from February 18-March 20. With the Sun in Pisces, we are guided by altruistic feelings. We are less motivated to do than we are to feel, imagine, and dream. A “what will be, will be” attitude reigns, and we are guided by a sense of universal correlations. Pisces rules empathy, selfless love, devotion, and wisdom. Its shadow side rules self-pity, a feeling of being victimized by life, passivity, and elusiveness.
Mercury is in Pisces from February 10-April 17. When Mercury is in Pisces, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors both our thoughts and our communication style. We guess well, express ourselves with imagery, and make decisions intuitively. We are more attracted to consciousness-raising information.
Venus is in Capricorn from February 3-March 1. Getting serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence. Our talents for creating artistic structure and form are enhanced, and our ability to form connections with people who support our ambitions is increased. We value enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness. We take expressing our feelings seriously, and we take our time to warm up to others. We generally keep our “cool” in relationships.
Mars is in Taurus from February 14-March 31. We are determined, stubborn, and resolute. Mars in Taurus can be passive, and is at its strongest when resisting or defending something! In stark contrast to the impulsive Mars in Aries cycle, we tend to pursue our goals by plodding along patiently. Our goals are longevity and long-term satisfaction.
Saturn transits Capricorn from December 19/20, 2017, to March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here.
Jupiter entered Sagittarius on November 8th, 2018, and transits the sign until December 2nd, 2019. Read more about the Jupiter in Sagittarius transit.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6, 2019, to 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Uranus returned to the sign of Aries on November 6th, 2018, for a four-month stay.
Uranus entered Aries on March 11th, 2011, and continued its transit of Aries until May 15, 2018, and then from November 6, 2018, to March 6, 2019. The urge to start fresh, to break free from restrictive attitudes or circumstances, to totally redesign an area of our lives (or even our personalities), and to gain freedom through independence is strong with Uranus in Aries.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Capricorn from February 3 to March 1, 2019. Venus in Capricorn is a cycle in which security and stability in our relationships are paramount. We are more cautious with our emotions and somewhat skeptical of both our own feelings and others’ expressions of affection. Longevity is important to us under this influence. There is a formality to Capricorn that can make personal expressions seem awkward and forced. However, this cycle offers us the opportunity to consider some of the practical issues of our relations and to work on making our partnerships work in the real world. A dose of realism in our personal lives can help us to feel more grounded and secure in the long run.
This week: Venus forms a sextile to Neptune and aligns with Saturn on Sunday and Monday, and we are especially imaginative and attuned to the world of beauty and romance. There could be magical times on a romantic and social level. We might idealize and expand a relationship through sensitive interactions and a more giving approach. We might also be solidifying a relationship or making a commitment. While there may be some realities and limitations to face in your relationships, this helps us grow and improve. Ideally with these aspects, we come to a nice balance between the practical and the imaginative in our love lives. Until Friday, however, we may feel a little stuck or limited, and there can be some relationship drama as we come to terms with our feelings. On Thursday and Friday, our desires are complex and deep. We demand much from our relationships and pleasures, perhaps wanting to take them to a new level.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Capricorn February 3-March 1. Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Venus square Chiron February 2-3. Not a commitment-friendly transit. We are somewhat fearful of investing ourselves emotionally in a relationship.
Venus sextile Neptune February 16-17. Unusual attractions that add imagination, inspiration, and emotional “color” to our lives may occur now. We are attuned to the subtleties of human interaction, and we are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others. An imaginative, romantic time.
Venus conjunct Saturn February 17-18. Affections stabilize and mature. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. An air of formality is brought to personal and social relationships. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships comes now. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure for a cause or for a loved one; thus we may have to abstain from personal gratification for the time being. Problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet may surface now, and we are ready to face them. Dissatisfaction with loved ones becomes more glaring. Renewed ties to old friends or lovers are possible, or a new sense of responsibility in existing relationships.
Venus conjunct Pluto February 21-22. An extraordinarily passionate time for relationships. We are focused and confident. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–a lot from a partnership or friendship. Powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions. Relationships begun under this influence are intense and passionate, deep and far from superficial, and can be quite possessive as well.
Venus opposition North Node February 24-26. This is a time for reviewing our attachments in terms of whether they are contributing to our growth.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, February 17th, from 9:18 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Uranus), until the Moon enters Leo at 10:21 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, February 19th, from 8:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo at 9:47 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, February 20th, from 8:51 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Thursday, February 21st, at 9:17 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Saturday, February 23rd, from 10:10 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Uranus), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 10:56 AM EST.
February 2019:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
This week, the Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 19th – a period that is generally considered favorable for new beginnings with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). From the Full Moon on the 19th forward, the Moon is waning — a period that is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, also with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from at least 3:00 PM EST on Sunday, February 17th, until approximately 8:50 AM EST on Tuesday, February 19th, while the Moon is in Leo. A shorter void period occurs on Wednesday, February 20th, from approximately 7:00 PM to 8:50 PM EST, while the Moon is in Virgo. No planets are retrograde again this week, which helps things flow along relatively smoothly.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Venus sextile Neptune. We are more imaginative and attuned to the world of beauty and romance today. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. A “magical” time on a romantic and social level is possible now.
Sun sextile Uranus. We are willing to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. It’s a good time to join organizations and groups and to attend meetings or social events, as these can be enlightening. We can find creative solutions to problems now and effect positive changes. Flexibility is the key to success under this influence.
Venus conjunct Saturn. Affections stabilize and mature. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. An air of formality is brought to personal and social relationships. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships comes now. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure for a cause or for a loved one; or we may have to abstain from personal gratification for the time being. Financial discipline, realism, and maturity are possible now. We are more likely to be conservative when it comes to spending. Sound judgment may be exercised. Problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet may surface now, and we are ready to face them. Dissatisfaction with loved ones becomes more glaring. Support from older people or authority figures may come by way of solid advice or tangible help. Renewed ties to old friends are possible, or a new sense of responsibility in existing friendships.
Mercury semi-square Uranus. We can have flashes of insight, but tend to be scatterbrained. Our ideas and communications may not be well-received because they don’t seem to others to carry weight. Our minds are not peaceful or harmonious under this influence, and irritable tempers, sarcastic speech, and dogmatism are negative expressions of this energy.
Mercury conjunct Neptune. Our intuitive creativity is stimulated under this influence. A very positive transit for artistic and literary endeavors. We get insights into our own minds. Conscious reasoning can be distorted by subconscious matter, so concentrating on cold hard facts can be challenging. Daydreaming, visualization, and prophecy are stimulated. Communications may be unclear, vague, or downright confused. We may be subject to deception. Avoid signing contracts under this influence.
Mercury sextile Saturn. A good time to get organized, to do detail work, and to prepare for the future. Decisions made now tend to be practical and well thought out. Work done now will have tangible results in the future.
Sun semi-square Saturn. It’s hard to satisfy the ego today. We feel blocked by circumstances or others. It’s too easy to feel discouraged, but discouragement is a time waster. Gratitude isn’t forthcoming right now, so it’s best to wait it out rather than waste energy letting it get to you.
Mercury semi-square Mars. We are quick-witted and ready to argue under this influence. We may be working under stressful or hectic conditions, as we feel pressure to get things done quickly. We are inclined to be snappy and irritable, and we may too easily interrupt others rather than listen. Conflicts of interest are likely.
Mercury square Jupiter. Information overload is possible today. It is all too easy to miss or neglect important details. We may exaggerate, have a hard time putting our ideas to practical use, or overstate under this influence. This is an unfavorable transit for travel. Our ideas and plans may be too grandiose just now. We could have a hard time convincing others of our point of view, and we could too easily jump to conclusions. There could be a lot of talk about nothing. Lack of clear mental focus, but we may make measurable progress if we can concentrate.
Venus conjunct Pluto. This is an “all or nothing” energy. We have the power of attraction at our disposal. Things shouldn’t be forced, even though the desire to sway, coerce, and manipulate others may be present. Passions are strong and intense. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–a lot from a partnership or friendship. This is a time when we can be focused and confident, especially when it comes to handling business and finances, as well as with regards to love and partnership.
Mars sesquiquadrate Jupiter. Although we may have much enthusiasm for life and for new projects, over-confidence and over-estimation of what we can do is likely. We are ready and willing to fight for our beliefs. We may be excitable and competitive. Jumping ahead without considering the consequences can be costly.
Mercury sextile Pluto. We possess more insight and psychological understanding than usual. We are willing to look beyond the surface of things and investigate further. Perhaps more importantly, we are more patient and strategic in our decision-making.

FEBRUARY 17
The Moon enters Leo this morning at 10:21 AM EST, and we’re especially playful, attentive, and self-aware. The Sun is heading towards a sextile to Uranus, exact early tomorrow, and this aspect serves to stimulate our willingness to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. Group connections can be enlightening. We might arrive at creative solutions to problems and make positive changes now. This is a time for flexibility, but at the same time, Venus is heading towards an alignment with Saturn, and we may be viewing or taking our attachments and affections a little more seriously. When it comes to finances and relationships, we may need to limit a pleasure or indulgence or sacrifice a material benefit for a spiritual one (or vice versa). Extravagances have a way of catching up with us and buckling down is necessary, but we generally feel good about making a mature choice now. We may be experiencing a new sense of realism in our relationships. This can also be a time for bonding more strongly with loved ones through the sharing of a responsibility, concern, or dilemma.
The Moon is void from 9:18 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Uranus), until the Moon enters Leo at 10:21 AM EST.
FEBRUARY 18
Chiron enters Aries today, where it will transit until 2026-2027. With this transit, we’re rebuilding our confidence, which is a particularly sensitive topic now. Personal and health problems or body image issues that have held us back come up for review. We’re learning to assert ourselves and focus on our needs (in healthy doses) without feeling guilty in the process. This transit emphasizes the concept that healing begins within oneself. Chiron entered Aries in April 2018 before returning to complete its transit of Pisces from September 25th, 2018, to today. The year 2019 features Uranus moving out of Aries (in just over two weeks from now) and Chiron’s move into the sign! As well today, the Sun enters Pisces where it will spend the coming month. During this cycle, we are guided by altruistic feelings. We are less motivated to do than we are to feel, imagine, and dream. A “what will be, will be” attitude reigns, and a sense of universal correlations guides us. Pisces rules empathy, selfless love, devotion, and wisdom. Its shadow side involves self-pity, a feeling of being victimized by life, passivity, and avoidance. This morning, the Venus-Saturn alignment perfects, and we may be facing reality about our finances, a personal belief, or a love/social matter. A commitment may be made, or there can be a “test” of sorts to an existing commitment. Renewed ties to old friends, ideas, and projects are possible, or a new sense of responsibility towards existing ones can emerge. As the day advances, however, we head towards a Mercury-Neptune alignment, which has an entirely different flavor! Daydreaming, visualization, and prophecy are stimulated. It’s possible to heal and inspire through our words. However, it’s not an ideal time for clarity and straightforward communications. We should avoid allowing wishful thinking to dictate our decisions. The Moon spends the day in Leo, and its harmony with Jupiter in Sagittarius this evening encourages us to grow, improve, and pursue our ideals or goals with confidence.
FEBRUARY 19
The Moon continues its transit of creative Leo until 9:47 AM EST when it moves into Virgo. Shortly after entering the sign, the Full Moon in Virgo occurs (at 10:54 AM). The Full Moon is an eyes-wide-open influence, particularly related to our health, work, services, habits, and routines. With the Sun in Pisces opposite the Virgo Moon, we’re called upon to balance our attention to work and rest, physical health and mental/emotional/spiritual health, and order and vision. If we’ve been avoiding certain chores, we’ll be called to task now. Mercury’s alignment with Neptune and sextile to Saturn today echo themes of the Virgo-Pisces polarity, helping us to integrate these energies and use them well–in balanced ways. Today, our intuition runs unusually high, and we can readily apply this increased sensitivity to our pursuits in practical ways. Advances in intellectual and mental pursuits are likely, as we make steady progress that has long-lasting results.
The Moon is void from 8:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo at 9:47 AM EST.
FEBRUARY 20
While we’re likely to be riding high on recent epiphanies, the Sun forms a semi-square to Saturn today, introducing some speed bumps. These can take the form of self-doubt and difficulties satisfying the ego. Gratitude may not be forthcoming right now, but this teaches us to look for the intrinsic rewards for our actions. The Moon continues its transit of Virgo all day, harmonizing with Saturn, Venus, and Pluto, all of which are currently in Capricorn. This is a good time for taking practical steps towards resolving problems. Our work ethic is strong now, and we have a good sense of what most needs our attention. We tend to focus on flaws–what isn’t working, and how to fix it. It’s an active period for taking care of details, organizing, editing, and analyzing.
The Moon is void from 8:51 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Thursday, February 21st, at 9:17 AM EST.
FEBRUARY 21
The Moon continues its transit of particular Virgo until 9:17 AM EST at which point it enters Libra. The Libra Moon attempts to strike a compromise and find a point of balance, but we can do some see-sawing in the process. As the day advances, there can be some nervous tension and perhaps argumentativeness. We may be working under stressful or hectic conditions, as we feel pressure to get things done quickly. There can be abrupt interruptions, snappiness, and irritability. Conflicts of interest are likely, but it’s our tense reaction to these that can be most challenging.
The Moon ends its void period when it enters Libra at 9:17 AM EST.
FEBRUARY 22
A square between Mercury and Jupiter today can incline us to exaggerate or blow things out of proportion. Information overload is possible now, and it’s all too easy to miss or neglect essential details. We may have a hard time putting our ideas to practical use, or we might overstate under this influence. Our thoughts and plans can be on the theatrical or grandiose side. We could have a hard time convincing others of our point of view, and we could too quickly jump to conclusions. There can be a lot of blowing off steam, talk about nothing, and a lack of clear mental focus, but we may make measurable progress if we can concentrate, and even if we can’t, our attitude is positive. A Venus-Pluto alignment suggests getting beyond an obstacle. Our feelings are intense, and we have the power of attraction at our disposal. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–more than usual from a partnership or friendship. It’s important to note that there can be quite a flair for drama today. However, the Moon spends the day in compromising, rational, and fair Libra, which can help bring some objectivity to our lives.
FEBRUARY 23
The Moon continues its transit of relationship-focused Libra until 10:56 AM EST, after which it transits discerning, passionate, and perceptive Scorpio. The Mercury-Pluto sextile is similarly intense in a productive way as it encourages us to get to the root of a problem. We are willing to look beyond the surface of things and investigate further. Deep insight happening now helps us to make better choices. Conversations are probing, investigative, and meaningful. Also today, a Mars-Jupiter sesqui-square suggests some agitation and competitive feelings that can either spur us on to make improvements or distract us. Enthusiasm and motivation can be wonderful now if we know where to channel excess energy, but over-confidence and over-estimation of what we are capable of doing may lead to poor decisions or regrettable actions.
The Moon is void from 10:10 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Uranus), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 10:56 AM EST.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Cancer
The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence. The Moon feels right at home in the sign of Cancer, as it rules the sign. This Moon position has much healing potential. Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.
The Moon in Cancer generally favors the following activities: Domestic activities, those that involve awareness of personal needs. Home decor, family get-togethers.
When the Moon is in Leo
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Aquarius This is a time when your path of self-development and expression becomes more and more unusual – setting you apart from the crowd and from all that is traditional. The new, the futuristic, the high-tech are the hallmarks of your lifestyle as the cycle gets underway. Ideas and technologies that change the way people live – not just one person, but many – are a major new focus in your life. Involvement with ideals and idealistic groups enhances your sense of purpose and mission.
Sun in Pisces The mystic, the martyr, the sinner, and the saint: these archetypes take on greater importance in your life at a time like this. Forgiveness, compassion, and understanding come naturally, when you look at life from an eternal perspective – and if anyone ever does know such things, you’ll probably come to understand them as this cycle unfolds. This can be a phase of sublime spiritual development, to be sure. But you should be aware of tendencies to believe too quickly, too deeply, or to become dependent on things or people that seem to offer quick and easy answers to life’s deepest yearnings.
Mercury in Pisces Knowing things without knowing how you know them is typical at a time like this. The mystical, the universal, the eternal: these are the things that stir your curiosity. Call it psychic, call it deja vu … it can be there when you call on it, whatever you call it. (Remembering the little things might become more difficult, however: it’s tough to remember if you paid the electric bill when you’re more interested in the eternal verities.)
Venus in Capricorn Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Mars in Taurus Making the most of what you’ve got, striving for security and stability: that’s the impulse that stirs in you as a new cycle begins in your life. New frontiers? That’s kid’s stuff for you now! What you want is to build something that will last: a pyramid, a Great Wall – you know, that sort of thing. Steady, patient, solid: that’s your style now.
Jupiter in Sagittarius Faith, optimism, and a yearning to explore all kinds of new horizons: these are some of the focal points in your life at this time. Travel, education, and other ways to stretch your horizons open new doors of opportunity. Religious, philosophical, and cultural matters are likely to have special appeal for you now; transmitting ideas on a broader scale brings gain.
Saturn in Capricorn Responsibility, hard work, ambition, and achievement: these are the foundations you need to build on now, as a new cycle dawns in your life. And yet, there is a tendency to be a little too hard, perhaps a bit cold, in your approach to these things. Let ambition take you to the top, but don’t let it lull you into thinking that the end justifies the means.
Uranus in Aries A clean break with the past in some respects is signaled by the cycle you have just begun. What YOU need, YOUR freedom and independence, shattering old molds: these are the things that energize you and take priority in your life. Uniqueness and originality set you apart.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
