The FULL MOON occurs on Thursday, December 12th, 2019, at 12:12 AM EST.
Very early Thursday, the Full Moon occurs as the Sun in Sagittarius forms an opposition to the Moon in Gemini.
The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity is a mental axis, where Gemini represents the “lower mind” and Sagittarius represents the “higher mind.” A Gemini Moon encourages us to think logically, while Sagittarius persuades us to think in a far broader manner. Sagittarius symbolizes the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the here and now. Gemini is quite comfortable in its immediate environment or neighborhood, while Sagittarius stimulates us to venture beyond. Gemini takes care to communicate tactfully and to extend friendly gestures, while Sagittarius can ignore these elements while seeking higher truths.
Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do. This Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and sense of adventure. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them.
The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional period–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our own lives. However, these feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems.
Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is not particularly rational as yet.
The Full Moon in Gemini is curious and hungry for ideas and information. It can bring sudden awareness to our lives and a rather urgent “need to know,” to get an important message across, to finish a communications project, or to make an announcement. Travel and communications are in sharp focus.
However, the Full Moon is square Neptune, and we may need to take a leap of faith. This is a somewhat problematic but intuitive and creative Full Moon with Mars applying to a trine to Neptune.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 19 degrees and 52 minutes of Gemini opposite the Sun at 19 degrees and 52 minutes of Sagittarius, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 16 to 24 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.

This week: The Sun is in Sagittarius; Mercury is in Scorpio until the 9th when it enters Sagittarius; Venus is in Capricorn; Mars is in Scorpio.
The Sun is in Sagittarius from November 22-December 21. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need for an intimate connection with a person and with ourselves, to the desire to reach out to the world and connect with something larger than ourselves. While the Sun moves through this fiery, mutable sign, we can take steps to increase our understanding and awareness of the world around us. We are more able to muster up the courage to expand our horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking. We can gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the “big picture” as we move away from our focus on the details of mundane existence. Although we may be prone to overdoing our expectations, we have the opportunity to nurture our faith, hope, and vision under this influence.
Mercury is in Scorpio from October 3-December 9. When Mercury is in Scorpio, our thoughts and communications are more probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and to arrive at fair solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover. We tend to probe, observe, and focus our thoughts under this influence. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. Our thoughts are profound. We throw away the superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations. Scorpio is extremely sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking is inclined to be one-track minded, focused, and even obsessive.
Mercury is in Sagittarius from December 9-28. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. Ideals are sought, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us most now. However, we are not always very precise under this influence.
Venus is in Capricorn from November 25-December 20. Getting serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence. Our talents for creating artistic structure and form are enhanced, and our ability to form connections with people who support our ambitions is increased. We value enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness. We take expressing our feelings seriously, and we take our time to warm up to others. We generally keep our “cool” in relationships.
Mars is in Scorpio from November 19, 2019-January 3, 2020. In Scorpio, Mars is driven and focused on getting what it wants. We are persevering, single-minded, and strong. The desire to experience our emotional depths, as well as the urge to penetrate the surface of life in order to explore deeper levels of existence, is powerful. We are fascinated with what others tend to repress, and are drawn to experiencing and understanding these things. We are less inclined to avoid important issues now. In some ways, we are attracted to crisis, as we see crisis as transformative and emotionally exciting. We would rather feel extreme emotions than nothing at all, as mediocrity or the “middle road” is felt to be unsatisfying.De
Jupiter entered Capricorn on December 2nd, 2019, and will transit the sign until December 19th, 2020. Read more about the Jupiter in Capricorn transit.
Saturn transits Capricorn until March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here.
Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus first transited Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and is now consistently in the sign (since March 6th, 2019) until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Capricorn from November 25 to December 20, 2019. Venus in Capricorn is a cycle in which security and stability in our relationships are paramount. We are more cautious with our emotions and somewhat skeptical of both our own feelings and others’ expressions of affection. Longevity is important to us under this influence. There is a formality to Capricorn that can make personal expressions seem awkward and forced. However, this cycle offers us the opportunity to consider some of the practical issues of our relations and to work on making our partnerships work in the real world. A dose of realism in our personal lives can help us to feel more grounded and secure in the long run.
This week: We are getting serious about love and/or pleasure this week. We might be solidifying a relationship or making a commitment. While there can be some realities and limitations to face in our relationships, this helps us grow and improve. We appreciate reliability and familiarity. Our desires are complex and deep on Thursday and Friday. We demand much from our relationships and pleasures, perhaps wanting to take them to a new level. We crave a sense that we’re growing and improving later in the week. Feelings are intense, insistent, and motivating.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Capricorn November 25-December 20. Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Venus sextile Mars December 2-3. This points to success and ease in close personal interactions. We are passionate and sexy. It is a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, romance, and pleasure. We are now able to take the initiative and to achieve harmony and sexual fulfillment. This influence brings satisfaction to the feelings. We may make permanent ties or relationships that prove to be fruitful and fortunate.
Venus sextile Neptune December 7-8. Unusual attractions that add imagination, inspiration and emotional “color” to our lives may occur now. We are attuned to the subtleties of human interaction, and we are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others. An imaginative, romantic time.
Venus conjunct Saturn December 10-11. Affections stabilize and mature. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. An air of formality is brought to personal and social relationships. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships comes now. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure for a cause or for a loved one; thus we may have to abstain from personal gratification for the time being. Problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet may surface now, and we are ready to face them. Dissatisfaction with loved ones becomes more glaring. Renewed ties to old friends or lovers are possible, or a new sense of responsibility in existing relationships.
Venus conjunct Pluto December 12-13. An extraordinarily passionate time for relationships. We are focused and confident. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–a lot from a partnership or friendship. Powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions. Relationships begun under this influence are intense and passionate, deep and far from superficial, and can be quite possessive as well.
Venus parallel Jupiter December 13-14. We are charitable with others and have a stronger desire than usual to find meaning in our relationships. There may be some overstating or overindulgence now, however.
Venus parallel Sun December 13-14. A strong desire for harmony and comfort fill us now. We may be moved to express our affections.
Venus semi-square Mercury December 14-15. Communications between lovers may feel superficial or unsatisfying, and perhaps awkward. We may be especially sensitive to what’s being communicated now.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Saturday, December 7th, from 10:02 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Taurus the next day, Sunday, December 8th, at 2:30 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Monday, December 9th, from 8:13 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Gemini the next day, Tuesday, December 10th, at 11:48 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Thursday, December 12th, from 12:13 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to the Sun), until the Moon enters Cancer at 6:23 PM EST.
VOC Moon on Saturday, December 14th, from 10:57 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Leo at 10:56 PM EST.

Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 12th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). After the Full Moon on the 12th, the Moon is waning and generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, again with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs on Monday, December 9th, from approximately 5:15 AM to 8:10 PM EST while the Moon is in Taurus.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Sun square Neptune. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on things that require straightforward, factual thinking today. It can be difficult knowing where or how to direct your willpower under this influence. It’s also a challenge knowing where you stand with others. Avoid such things as scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time.
Venus sextile Neptune. We are more imaginative and attuned to the world of beauty and romance today. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. A “magical” time on a romantic and social level is possible now.
Jupiter square Chiron. This can be a time when we are hungry for meaning and understanding, but it can be difficult to align ourselves with a personal philosophy or belief system that truly reflects our core. We might be led astray by beliefs and ideas now, or we might experience some form of crisis of faith. Something might happen that challenges our core beliefs. We might also feel alone in our opinions, visions, or plans for the future, as others don’t seem to understand our vision. Choices we’ve made in the past may no longer seem wise. It is important to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that doesn’t truly serve our purpose. New business endeavors may require a closer look before pushing forward.
Mercury trine Chiron. This is an excellent period for opening up communications with others, as we are more sensitive than usual and more willing to listen. Getting our point across is easier, as it’s not only about which words we choose to communicate, we intuitively express the meaning and intention behind the words. We can effectively use words to heal and comfort just now. We are also more open to new ways of looking at problems or at life in general.
Sun sesquiquadrate Uranus. During this transit, we feel the need for action, but if we don’t know where we’re headed, we might take the wrong turn. Unexpected changes in plans or events can test our patience, and we might feel a bit out of control. However, they could stimulate us to try new approaches and they certainly act to cut boredom. This transit could offer us the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being.
Venus conjunct Saturn. Affections stabilize and mature. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. An air of formality is brought to personal and social relationships. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships comes now. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure for a cause or for a loved one, or we may have to abstain from personal gratification for the time being. Financial discipline, realism, and maturity are possible now. We are more likely to be conservative when it comes to spending. Sound judgment may be exercised. Problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet may surface now, and we are ready to face them. Dissatisfaction with loved ones becomes more glaring. Support from older people or authority figures may come by way of solid advice or tangible help. Renewed ties to old friends are possible, or a new sense of responsibility in existing friendships.
Mercury quincunx Uranus. It is difficult to get a point across without rubbing people the wrong way or misrepresenting ourselves. Uncertainty reigns today. Avoid making hasty decisions that you will later regret. Impulsiveness, disorganization, unreceptive to practical advice and/or your ideas are not well-received.
Mercury semi-square Saturn. Red tape, re-doing tasks we thought we had finished, problems getting from point A to point B, delays in communication, negative thinking, hyper-sensitivity, and criticism–these are all potentials now. The energy is best used for focusing on fixing errors rather than harping on how irritating they are!
Mars trine Neptune. We act on our intuition now, sexual fantasies are strong, we strive towards all that is boundless, and our creative impulses are potent. We are less tense and driven, and more relaxed. “What will be, will be” is the attitude now. Inspiration can be found now. This transit favors dancing, swimming, photography, arts, and entertainment.
Venus conjunct Pluto. This is an “all or nothing” energy. We have the power of attraction at our disposal. Things shouldn’t be forced, even though the desire to sway, coerce, and manipulate others may be present. Passions are strong and intense. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–a lot from a partnership or friendship. This is a time when we can be focused and confident, especially when it comes to handling business and finances, as well as with regards to love and partnership.
Mercury semi-square Pluto. “Suspicious minds” characterize this transit, although if we harness the energy, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of any matter. Mistrust, investigations. Some level of mental stress, trouble, or pressure.
Mars sesquiquadrate Chiron. We can be easily offended under the influence of this transit. Touchiness. Difficulties expressing our anger or desires in a direct manner.
Note: Times given in the table/calendar above are Eastern Time (ET).

DECEMBER 8
We are looking for–and finding–the best in people with Venus sextile Neptune today. We’re especially attuned to the worlds of beauty and romance, and we tend to approach one another more gently than usual with this transit. A magical time on a romantic and social level is possible now, as we are inclined to see spiritual dimensions of our relationships and to approach others with increased compassion. This influence encourages us to open up and embrace loving feelings. It also detaches us just enough from our feelings that we’re less possessive. While it’s a good day for making connections, a Jupiter-Chiron square occurs now, and we may be struggling with what to believe. It can be a time when we are hungry for meaning and understanding, but it can be challenging to express ideas that truly reflect our core. We could feel alone in our opinions, visions, or plans for the future. It’s vital to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that doesn’t truly serve our purpose. New ventures may require a closer look before pushing forward. The Moon ends its transit at 2:30 AM when it enters Taurus. The Taurus Moon is content, comfortable, and sensual.
The void Moon ends when the Moon enters Taurus today at 2:30 AM EST.
DECEMBER 9
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Taurus, and we want to get comfortable. However, Mercury enters Sagittarius today, where it will transit until December 28th, inspiring an adventurous mindset. Mercury in Sagittarius is curious, questioning, and brave with thoughts and ideas. Our thinking is optimistic, and our faith increases. However, we are not always very precise or detail-oriented during this cycle. Today, Mercury is heading towards a trine to Chiron, opening our minds to learning from one another. We tend to focus on healing methods and holistic thinking. This influence helps us communicate our feelings in constructive ways. There is good energy for discussing or giving further thought to sensitive topics.
The void Moon occurs from 8:13 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Gemini the next day, Tuesday, December 10th, at 11:48 AM EST.
DECEMBER 10
The minor square between the Sun and Uranus early today suggests an urge for action, but we may not know where to begin or where to go with our intentions just for now. Unexpected changes in plans or events can test our patience, but they might also bring on new approaches, leading to useful, instructive, or interesting detours. The Moon continues its transit of Taurus until 11:48 AM EST, after which it journeys through Gemini. The Gemini Moon wants to diversify and keep things light and friendly. Nevertheless, as the day advances, we take one another more seriously. We’re approaching a Venus-Saturn alignment, and we are more thoughtful about our attachments and affections. When it comes to finances and relationships, we may need to limit a pleasure or indulgence or sacrifice a material benefit for a spiritual one (or vice versa). Extravagances have a way of catching up with us, and buckling down is necessary. Still, we’re inclined to feel good about making a mature choice now. We may be experiencing a new sense of realism in our relationships. This can also be a time for bonding more strongly with loved ones through the sharing of responsibility, concerns, or dilemmas.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Gemini at 11:48 AM EST.
DECEMBER 11
Venus and Saturn perfect their conjunction this morning. We may be facing reality about our finances, a personal belief, or a love/social matter. This influence can bring a strong sense of responsibility or realism to our lives and our relationships. Problems in a relationship can make themselves known now. A commitment may be made, or there can be a “test” of sorts to an existing commitment. A sense of duty towards someone we care about can be in focus. We may feel energized and motivated by our sense of loyalty and responsibility. A Mercury-Uranus quincunx also active today, on the other hand, can make it challenging to get a point across clearly. There can be unclear directions and instructions or mental disorganization to manage. The Moon spends the day in Gemini. The Moon is building towards full with a Full Moon set to occur early tomorrow, and emotions run high.
DECEMBER 12
The Full Moon in Gemini occurring at 12:12 AM EST brings information to light. This is a time to release, reveal, or announce something, particularly communications or learning-related, to which you want others to catch on. It’s not ideal, however, for revealing a matter that you want to downplay since whatever comes to light now is likely to have some fanfare surrounding it. There can be a lot of information coming in today. Take it in, but process everything before making important decisions. The coming days are powerful for new ideas, but they’re genuinely new and require more time to develop and mature. The Full Moon in Gemini is curious and hungry for ideas and information. It can bring sudden awareness to our lives and a rather urgent “need to know,” to get an important message across, to finish a communications project, or to make an announcement. Travel and communications are in sharp focus. Chiron stations and turns direct today after retrograde motion since July 8th, and we can experience some emotional vulnerability. Emotional truths about matters we’ve been avoiding or confused about begin to emerge now and in the coming weeks. These may not always be comfortable, but they serve to motivate us to take appropriate action. The Moon continues to transit Gemini until 6:23 PM EST when it enters Cancer. We’re heading toward a Mars-Neptune trine, and we can feel compelled to act on our intuition or a fantasy, take action towards fulfilling a dream, or bring more imagination to what we’re doing. We are not inclined to follow rigid rules, directions, and schedules, preferring to follow our intuition or inner guidance and gut feelings.
The Moon is void from 12:13 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to the Sun), until the Moon enters Cancer at 6:23 PM EST.
DECEMBER 13
This morning’s Mars-Neptune trine helps open us to alternative paths. This influence is good for feeling inspired, letting go of anger, and the softening of our dispositions. Creative arts, particularly physical ones, are favored. It’s better to wind down or act on our visions, dreams, or compassion now. The Moon taps into this energy later today, effectively extending it. Even so, Venus aligns with Pluto this morning, and our feelings are intense. We have the power of attraction at our disposal. There is a tendency to want–and to demand–more than usual from a partnership or friendship. It’s important to note that there can be quite a flair for drama today, although we should avoid a tendency to think in terms of conspiracies, especially with Mercury semi-square Pluto. It’s a time when we can be singularly focused and perhaps obsessed, especially when handling business and finances, as well as with love and partnership matters. The Moon spends the day in Cancer, and home, family, and familiar settings or situations appeal more than usual now.
DECEMBER 14
The Sun, Venus, and Jupiter form a parallel aspect today and tomorrow, and we are especially charitable. We have a stronger desire than usual to find meaning in our relationships. There may be some overstating or overindulgence now, but our intentions are generally good, and we promptly offer people the benefit of the doubt. We’re also inclined to take the high road, open ourselves up to new possibilities, and keep growth and discovery as priorities. We need to allow our loved ones some freedom and space to grow and improve. We’re making the best out of situations now. We’re likely to experience a strong desire for harmony and comfort, and we can be moved to express our affection. At the same time, we are taking more pride in our relationships or diplomacy, and we may be putting more effort into these things now. We prefer to attract than pursue and to compromise than fight. The Moon spends much of the day in the sign of protective Cancer, entering outgoing Leo at 10:56 PM EST.
The Moon is void from 10:57 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Venus), until the Moon enters Leo at 10:56 PM EST.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
When the Moon is in Taurus
We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses." Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.
While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.
When the Moon is in Gemini
Our basic instinct is to communicate, think, and learn under the influence of Moon in Gemini. We are motivated by a desire for variety and by an instinctive curiosity. The Moon in Gemini is light-hearted, breezy, spirited, and curious, but it can also be restless and fickle.
The Moon in Gemini generally favors the following activities: Mental and communicative actions, and more than one activity at once. Reading, learning, letters and emails, errands, writing, teaching, making connections, cafes, light and airy meetings, short trips.
When the Moon is in Cancer
The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence. The Moon feels right at home in the sign of Cancer, as it rules the sign. This Moon position has much healing potential. Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.
The Moon in Cancer generally favors the following activities: Domestic activities, those that involve awareness of personal needs. Home decor, family get-togethers.
When the Moon is in Leo
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Sagittarius You’re now embarking on a trek into a land of dreams – not passive daydreams, but vibrant visions of what may be. The time has come to stop looking at the world as it is and asking why. Now’s the time to imagine the world as it could be, and the question has become: “Why not?” You also cannot do everything you imagine now, but you cannot do anything you don’t KNOW you can do – so believe, and dare to make it happen! This means expanding your mind, your belief system, your whole base of knowledge and experience. Time’s a-wasting – let no grass grow between your toes!
Mercury in Scorpio A pronounced curiosity about taboos and mysteries plays a greater part in your life now. Your mind is on cutting through the nonessentials and penetrating to the core is where your mind is at now; you want to know who (or what) pulls the strings. Sex, taxes, investments, and others of life’s most compelling phenomena may captivate your interest more than ever before.
Mercury in Sagittarius A time of expanding your mental horizons is at hand. Religion, philosophy, law, and education are some of the things that may have special importance for you now. Being in touch with faraway people and places satisfies an intellectual yearning – curiosity will take you anywhere and maybe everywhere.
Venus in Capricorn Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Mars in Scorpio Tear it down and build it up again, reach in and pluck out the offending element: that’s what the new cycle you have entered is like. Power becomes a compelling idea, perhaps even an aphrodisiac – and you’ve got a stronger than usual supply of it now. Use it, don’t abuse it – or you might find that it’s a two-edged sword!
Jupiter in Capricorn Respect, status, and achievement are central goals for you as a new phase begins in your life. Creating a structure to empower and maintain your ideals and principles becomes a high priority, an article of faith. By taking on greater responsibilities of this kind, you become an inspiration to others. Ambition unlimited always ends in defeat.
Saturn in Capricorn Responsibility, hard work, ambition, and achievement: these are the foundations you need to build on now, as a new cycle dawns in your life. And yet, there is a tendency to be a little too hard, perhaps a bit cold, in your approach to these things. Let ambition take you to the top, but don’t let it lull you into thinking that the end justifies the means.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
