Daily Trends
The FIRST QUARTER MOON occurs on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, at 2:37 AM EDT.
Early Tuesday, the First Quarter Moon is exact, when the Sun in Scorpio forms a square with the Moon in Aquarius.
There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we are made aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles.
A First Quarter Moon can be a time of some stress, clashing, and discord, but also of great energy, motivation, and growth. We’re more ambitious and competitive. Things are beginning to take off or turn a corner. This is a time when we want to get something going, but we may not yet know the next step or the exact direction we want to take.
While we should probably watch for overconfidence or overshooting, it’s a good idea to use the stress generated now to make important changes.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 8 degrees and 49 minutes of Aquarius square the Sun at 8 degrees and 49 minutes of Scorpio, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 7 to 11 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.

This week: The Sun is in Scorpio; Mercury is in Scorpio; Venus is in Scorpio; Mars is in Gemini.
The Sun is in Scorpio from October 23-November 22. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire.” Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Superficiality simply will not do with the Sun in Scorpio–we want to get to the bottom of matters. Mediocrity does not satisfy either. All that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed interests us. In Libra, we strived towards equality and fairness. Scorpio, however, instinctively believes that life simply isn’t fair.
Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense. It can be an immensely healing and transformative energy. Jealousy, vindictiveness, beating a dead horse, and manipulative are some of the more negative expressions of Scorpio.
We are more likely to prosper through strategy and knowing the value of keeping some things to ourselves at the right times. Efforts to repurpose, recycle, salvage, and transform can be successful. We’re especially successful at organizing, researching, investigating, and analyzing.
While we can be quite controlled with effort, there is some inclination to extremism. We can be drawn to challenges and crises, and we feel compelled to heal, fix, and direct or manage.
Mercury is in Scorpio from October 29-November 17. When Mercury is in Scorpio, our thoughts and communications are more probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and arrive at reasonable solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover.
We tend to probe, observe, and focus our thoughts under this influence. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried, the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. Our thoughts are profound. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations.
Scorpio is exceptionally sharp, profound, and analytical yet also intuitive. Thinking is inclined to be one-track-minded, focused, and even obsessive.
Mercury-in-Scorpio isn’t shocked by much, or at least keeps its cool even if surprised. During this cycle, our approach is psychological when analyzing, deciding, and studying or observing. We’re not afraid to go places mentally. We get to the heart of a matter or to the bottom line very quickly, usually through instinct. Our resourcefulness and strategy stand out. We’re competitive.
We can be intrigued by motives and secrets or taboos. It’s not easy to take instruction or someone’s word for it–we have to experience it ourselves to draw conclusions. This position of Mercury is one of the most persuasive. It’s an excellent time to research, investigate, troubleshoot, and work on hunches. If left to observe on our own, we do our best thinking, seeking the hidden layers of a situation.
Venus is in Scorpio from October 23-November 16. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with Venus in Scorpio. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special–contact that breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. It’s a highly emotional position for Venus, and it’s passionate energy.
Our relationships are immensely important to us, and we may even feel that they consume us. In fact, we tend to want to be consumed by them! Our drive is toward intense closeness, but blind faith in our partners is extremely hard for us now. Fears of being too vulnerable or of giving up our own power to others are strong. Scorpio is an “all or nothing” energy, and relationships tend to be somewhat of a rollercoaster ride as a result. Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can compel us to create crises to feel alive and vital.
Similarly, during this Venus-in-Scorpio cycle, we seek or gravitate to absorbing, deeply engaging, dramatic pleasures, activities, projects, and art. Things that are profound, disturbing, mysterious, or unusual can be more appealing now.
This can be a good time for finances, especially when working with others’ talents or resources, whether as an agent, supporter, or partner.
Mars is in Gemini from August 20, 2022-March 25, 2023. [This is much longer than usual due to a Mars retrograde cycle from October 30, 2022-January 12, 2023.]
In Gemini, Mars is versatile and flexible but not especially determined or focused. We should watch for becoming so scattered that we’re ineffective. However, it’s an excellent period for diversifying our interests and understanding the power of our communications.
It’s an excellent time for strategizing and devising useful tactics to achieve our desires and goals. We’re resourceful and clever, and we know how to use words effectively.
Perhaps most notable during this period is our tactical skills. We know how to maneuver things to get our way. We use words to charm and express anger. We’re very talkative, and animatedly so, when passionate and enthusiastic about a topic.
Mars is retrograde from October 30, 2022, to January 12, 2023.
Jupiter is in Pisces.
Jupiter was in Aries from May 10 to October 28, 2022 before it retreated into Pisces. This was part one of two, with the second and final part upcoming–from December 20, 2022, to May 16, 2023. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Aries.
Jupiter returned to Pisces on October 28th, and will continue in Pisces until December 20, 2022–the final part of three in the Jupiter-in-Pisces transit. Read more about the Jupiter in Pisces transit.
Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July 1, 2020, and from December 17th, 2020, until March 7, 2023. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aquarius.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Scorpio from October 23-November 16. Deeply passionate relations are the focus with Venus in Scorpio. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not satisfy now, as we yearn for “body and soul” contact with someone special–contact that breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. This is a highly emotional position for Venus. It is a passionate, sensual, and intense energy.
Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can compel us to create crises in order to feel alive and vital. If a relationship becomes too settled or predictable, we may crave more intensity and catalytic experience. Jealousies, fears of betrayal, and power games are the shadow side of Venus in Scorpio.
We may easily become obsessed with a fear that our partners might be betraying us, or that they are not as consumed by and dedicated to the relationship as us. This can lead us to try to uncover the “truth”, reading too many negative possibilities in our partners’ actions and words.
This week: On Monday, the 31st, we’re investing more energy and pride in harmonizing and connecting. However, there are subtle aggravations and tensions as we try to connect with our conflicting wants and needs. Wednesday and Thursday feature some minor challenges: we can feel on the fence or undecided. It’s not an ideal time for a full-on expression of feelings. We could be seeking a little more meaning or excitement from our relationships, pastimes, and pleasures. Watch for a feeling that the grass may be greener elsewhere.
On Saturday, the 5th, things are complicated! We may want to lock something down yet also battle a feeling of being tied down–conflicting feelings are likely now. We can feel torn between wanting our freedom/independence and craving company. Feelings or revelations in our relationships can throw us off-center.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Scorpio This is way beyond love, all the way to obsession – that’s the nature of the cycle that now takes hold in your life. We’re not talking just lukewarm WANT here; we’re talking red-hot GOT TO HAVE! Passion, jealousy, possession: these are the kinds of experiences that can flow from the intensity that courses through you at one level or another now – voracious.
Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune October 29. Romantic confusion as well as relationship ups and downs. Self-deceptions may come to light now.
Venus sesquiquadrate Mars October 31. Tensions in relationships. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging.
Venus parallel the Sun October 31. A strong desire for harmony and comfort fill us now. We may be moved to express our affections.
Venus quincunx Chiron November 2. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Venus opposition North Node (Venus conjunct South Node) November 2. This is a time for reviewing our attachments in terms of whether they are contributing to our growth.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter November 3. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus opposition Uranus November 5. Not a good time to start relationships. Independence is the reigning need. Some fickleness. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness.
Venus parallel Saturn November 5. We may express our affection sparingly, but also responsibly and in practical ways. Relationships begun under this influence often feel burdensome over time, but they may last longer than most.
Venus contra-parallel Uranus November 6. Questions of freedom, change, specialness, and experimentation are raised in our relationships.
Venus square Saturn November 6-7. Feeling unsatisfied, isolated, and unloved. Personal relationships are likely to be strained as we express our affections cautiously and sparingly. If we believe we are not getting what we want in love, we attract negative situations and challenges in our relationships. This is not a good time to begin a new relationship–new ones begun now are likely to be stamped with themes of duty and restriction.
Venus trine Neptune November 9-10. We perceive romantic situations as if they were “designed” just for us. A magical, romantic time. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. Romance is highly favored. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Monday, October 31st, from 11:15 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 11:43 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 7:09 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces at 2:47 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, November 4th, from 6:06 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Aries at 7:08 PM EDT.

Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week. The waxing Moon is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, although with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity this week continues from Saturday, October 29th, at approximately 9:25 AM EDT, until Monday, October 31st, at approximately 11:10 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Capricorn. This window is better from 3:30 PM EDT forward on October 29th. Note also that Mars stations and turns retrograde during this window.
Another window occurs on Friday, November 4th, from approximately 1 PM to 6 PM EDT, while the Moon is in Pisces. However, note that Mars is retrograde during this window (Mars is retrograde until January 12th, 2023).

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Sun sesquiquadrate Neptune. Our willpower is low as we stray from our goals and temporarily lose focus. It’s difficult to formulate — or stick to — clear goals during this transit. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters that require straightforward, factual thinking today. It can be difficult knowing where or how to direct our willpower under this influence. It’s also a challenge knowing where we stand with others. Avoid such things as scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time.
Venus sesquiquadrate Mars. Potential tensions in relationships. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging. Be wary of making impulse purchases. There is an air of competitiveness under this influence, which need not be difficult. It can be stimulating and invigorating.
Venus quincunx Chiron. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Sun sesquiquadrate Mars. Circumstances spur us into action. Aggressiveness and conflicts are possible now. As long as we channel the excess energy constructively, instead of wasting our time arguing, we can accomplish much.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Neptune. We are not thinking clearly, preferring to daydream. Technical facts can be glossed over at this time. It’s not a good time to make a presentation, to ask for what you want, or to formalize agreements.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. Problems in our personal life likely won’t get resolved under this influence. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Mars. Impulsive communications and hasty decision-making. We can accomplish more if we are careful not to be too hasty and forget details. “Haste makes waste.”
Sun quincunx Chiron. Doubting ourselves and our effectiveness, as well as guilt for not facing important issues, can subtly undermine our confidence under this influence. Self-expression can be choppy and unnatural as a result.
Venus opposition Uranus. Sudden attractions that may not last come under this influence. Similarly, impulsive attractions to material items that later prove to be unappealing occur now. This is not a good time to start a new relationship nor for any significant financial undertaking. Values and tastes may clash, and group activities may suffer as a result. Impulsive attractions to both people and material goods can lead us astray. Avoid impulse buys at this time. Some instability, restlessness, and rebelliousness are probable in romantic relationships. We may not see eye to eye, and we might be taken off guard by unexpected events. This is not a favorable aspect for beauty treatments because they could have unexpected results. We may struggle with freedom versus intimacy issues at this time. It’s wise to hold off on decision-making with regards to finances and relationships. However, if we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might open ourselves up to new ways of dealing with others.

This week, there is an unusual number of sesquiquadrate aspects, and we can experience some mild but frequent aggravation, seemingly without reason. It makes Mars shifting directions (it turns retrograde on the 30th) even more irritating and problematic than usual. We should make a point of finding ways to detox and reduce stress.
OCTOBER 30
Mars stations and turns retrograde today, and there can be some difficulties knowing what we want as the shift occurs. During the Mars retrograde cycle itself, which spans from today until January 12th, 2023, we need to re-assess our current projects, our approach to getting what we want, and our desires. Rather than directly asserting what we want, we are more reflective and cautious. Mars in direct motion is straightforward, assertive, and even aggressive, but with Mars in retrograde motion, Mars energy is essentially turned inward – it’s internalized, intensified, personalized, and perhaps pressurized. We can be hesitant about taking action, second-guessing our instincts or natural impulses rather than acting upon them. This cycle affords us the chance to learn more about what we want and how we pursue our desires. With Mars retrograde in the Mercury-ruled sign of Gemini, passive-aggressive communications can be prominent. There can be some stalling of intellectual and mental initiatives. Today, we’re shifting gears, suggesting we might reserve judgment. The Moon spends the day in practical Capricorn, and we approach our day with common sense.
OCTOBER 31
The morning’s Sun-Neptune minor square suggests difficulties focusing on or defining our goals. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters requiring precise, factual thinking. We may struggle with waning willpower or some lack of direction. It makes sense to consider ways to create a better balance between our material and spiritual pursuits. Feelings of discontent can lead us along unexpected tangents. We can feel tense with regular or routine interactions as Venus and Mars form a sesquiquadrate this afternoon. This transit creates a tense and competitive or stimulating and invigorating environment, depending on our perspective! The differences in our approaches, desires, and needs seem to stand out more than our commonalities, and tensions in our relationships are likely. We might watch for impulsive moves, including purchases. This transit can whet our appetites or stir our ambitions. The Moon spends almost the first half of the day in organized Capricorn, and at 11:43 AM EDT, it moves into inventive Aquarius.
The void Moon occurs from 11:15 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 11:43 AM EDT.
NOVEMBER 1
Early today, the First Quarter Moon is exact with the Sun in Scorpio square to the Moon in Aquarius. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. There can be some trial and error or tension to manage now, although it can also help motivate us to make a move! Recent new beginnings may face their first obstacles. The Moon spends all day in Aquarius, encouraging us to seek intellectual stimulation and unusual or unconventional experiences. Friends, community, groups, causes, and happiness goals can be in stronger focus now. We can feel quite responsible for–or serious about–these matters with the Aquarius Moon conjunct Saturn and Mars trine Vesta in Aquarius.
NOVEMBER 2
With a quincunx between Venus and Chiron, insecurity might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly. There could be feelings of discontent temporarily. Venus also aligns with the South Node, and we might fall back on behaviors and indulgences that keep us distant from our true feelings and needs. The day also features a Sun-Mars sesquiquadrate, pointing to the potential for too-quick judgments and actions. We might be anxious to put something behind us, rushing decisions in the process. This transit adds instigating, tense, or impatient elements to the day. We might crave action but may not know where we want to direct this energy. Without a plan or direction, arguments or impatience can follow. The Moon continues its transit of Aquarius to 2:47 PM EDT, when it moves into Pisces.
The void Moon occurs from 7:09 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Mars), until the Moon enters Pisces at 2:47 PM EDT.
NOVEMBER 3
The Moon spends the day in Pisces, awakening our need for spiritual refreshment or escape. Ideally, this is a time for decompressing, winding down, and tapping into our intuition. With a sesquiquadrate between Mercury and Neptune this morning, we tend to perceive situations in an impractical or overly optimistic way. This transit further diffuses our concentration or focus. Adding a layer of restlessness to the day’s astrology is a Venus-Jupiter minor square. With this transit, we seek a little more from our pleasures, money, or relationships. Channeled well, this transit can encourage us to improve our situation but otherwise might lead to over-indulgence, immoderation, or exaggeration. High expectations can leave us vulnerable to ups and downs. It can be tempting to overreach if we’re not in touch with our feelings or are discontented. This influence can exaggerate our feelings, wants, and perceived needs. It’s best to manage impulsiveness and hastiness.
NOVEMBER 4
The Moon continues its transit of Pisces until 7:08 PM EDT, aligning with Jupiter shortly before it leaves the sign. Getting in touch with our imaginative, compassionate side can be pleasurable and rewarding today. Nevertheless, the Moon’s square and Mercury’s sesquiquadrate to retrograde Mars can point to impulsive, tense, or even aggressive communications and hasty decision-making. We can accomplish more if we’re careful to pace ourselves. Buried anger can bubble up and emerge in our communications unexpectedly. We should watch for rushing things, impatience in speech and movements, and abrupt or insensitive commentary. It’s best to put in the effort to respect and validate others when expressing what we need and want. Ideally, we can channel mental tension into something constructive.
The void Moon occurs from 6:06 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Aries at 7:08 PM EDT.
NOVEMBER 5
The Moon spends the day in the sign of straightforward, impulsive Aries. With the Sun’s alignment to the true South Node of the Moon today, we should watch for holding onto something that no longer supports our growth only because it’s comfortable or familiar. Unexpected events or feelings may take us off guard with Venus opposite Uranus today. Our feelings, attractions, or people in our lives can surprise us now. Some instability, restlessness, and rebelliousness are themes in our social interactions. Our needs for comfort and togetherness appear to clash with the desire to be free and independent. Indeed, we can experience sudden infatuations, whether with people or material items, that later prove less appealing. As such, it’s not a good time to start a significant financial undertaking or relationship — not until rebellious feelings pass and we gain a better sense of how we honestly feel. Falling back on old patterns of relating won’t work now. Still, if we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might open ourselves to new ways of relating that accommodate our diverse needs.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
When the Moon is in Aquarius
Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal, under this influence. This is a time that promotes social gatherings, dealing with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and progressive changes. We are open to new methods of doing things and we have our eye on the future. It can be hard to stick to schedules now, as personal freedom is most important to us.
The Moon in Aquarius generally favors the following activities: Unusual or radical undertakings, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, joining a group.
When the Moon is in Pisces
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Scorpio Who owes what, who owns what, and who decides these things: these are some of the major issues for you at the dawn of the cycle that now begins in your life. The only thing we really own is our consciousness; the only master who is never overthrown is oneself. These are lessons best learned early in this cycle. Master them, and you master everything. Dodge these issues, and the great strength that could be yours will remain just out of reach. Understanding inner motivations, seeing through to the core: that’s your real path of power and enlightenment now.
Mercury in Scorpio A pronounced curiosity about taboos and mysteries plays a greater part in your life now. Your mind is on cutting through the nonessentials and penetrating to the core is where your mind is at now; you want to know who (or what) pulls the strings. Sex, taxes, investments, and others of life’s most compelling phenomena may captivate your interest more than ever before.
Mars in Gemini Learning, communicating, the exchange of ideas: these are the experiences you crave as a means to make your mark now, as a new phase begins in your life. You’re a person with something to say, and you realize that others have information that is essential to your goals. A time of much mental energy and initiative … perhaps with an element of conflict tossed in for good measure.
Jupiter in Pisces Mysticism, sensitivity to the needs of others, and an awareness of karma (the link between the present and the past): these are your paths to spiritual growth now. Addressing these issues brings you gain and satisfaction at many levels. A tolerance for differences, an understanding of human frailties and shortcomings.
Saturn in Aquarius Ideals are in for a period of testing, as a new phase begins in your life. What are principles worth, unless they are put into practice? That’s an important question for you now. This could mean you may be disappointed by causes you believe in – but if you abandon your principles, you lose.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone, and everyone in their place…
