Romance & Relationship Report
Daily Trends
The FULL MOON occurs on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 2:48 PM EDT.
On Sunday afternoon, the Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Aries forms an opposition to the Libra Moon. It’s a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of something begun at the New Moon. Heightened emotions, romance, fertilization, relationship drama, and epiphanies are themes.
The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents “self,” and Libra represents “other.” Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. With the Libra Moon, we’re especially aware of our need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them — compromising, negotiating, graciousness, and balancing. The Aries Sun, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous.
This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and attending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. The Libra Moon is diplomatic, equality-focused, and fair-minded. The Aries Sun values authenticity over tact and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict.
Relationship epiphanies occur now. We’re likely to experience revelations about our independence, need for others, and partnerships.
Venus aligns with the Sun in this lunation chart, and Venus rules the Libra Moon, making this configuration particularly useful for resolving conflicts. Saturn is trine the North Node, Mars is conjunct the North Node, and Saturn harmonizes with the Sun and Moon. There can be helpful interactions with superiors or with older or more experienced people, and benefits can come as a result. There can be a choice to structure, limit, or simplify our lives in a significant way that leads to major improvements. We’re a little more careful and conservative now, but we’re also up for a challenge if it means we’re growing and learning.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 8 degrees and 18 minutes of Libra, affecting people with personal planets and points at 4 to 12 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly.

This week: The Sun is in Aries; Mercury is in Pisces to April 3rd, after which Mercury is in Aries; Venus is in Aries; Mars is in Gemini.
The Sun is in Aries from March 20 to April 19. In Aries, the Sun is enthusiastic and spontaneous. We are motivated by the desire to conquer. We are more impulsive and have the urge to initiate. Aries is a sign that bounces back quickly–there is little shame with Aries. It is brave and pioneering, and somewhat innocent. We are direct and rather uncomplicated in our needs, but we can also be short-sighted and lack the desire to plan ahead.
Mercury is in Pisces from March 15 to April 3. When Mercury is in Pisces, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors both our thoughts and our communication style. We guess well, express ourselves with imagery, and make decisions intuitively. We are more attracted to consciousness-raising information.
Mercury is in Aries from April 3 to 19. When Mercury is in Aries, we are less concerned with objective viewpoints and explanations, and more concerned with reaching a decision…quickly! Our thoughts and ideas are pioneering, and we tend to speak more spontaneously and directly with the planet of communication in bold and assertive Aries.
Venus is in Aries from March 21 to April 14. In Aries, love is spontaneous and direct. The chase is exhilarating to us under this fiery influence. We are bold, fresh, and a little impatient with matters of the heart. We don’t look back with Aries energy. We are not interested in saying sorry or dwelling on the past. It’s a brand new day! It’s time to make things work right now. Aries is known for a love of the chase and the conquest, but Aries love can be longstanding if it remains fresh. Aries is blunt–there’s no sugar-coating, which can sting, but rarely is Aries energy mean or petty. Saying it “like it is” is vital to Aries. Desires are strong and expressed spontaneously, enthusiastically, and directly. Aries prefers to seduce rather than be seduced, to chase rather than be chased.
Mars is in Gemini from March 3 to April 23. In Gemini, Mars is considerably more versatile and flexible–and substantially less determined and focused! Our interests become more diversified, possibly to the point of going off on so many tangents that we are scattered and ineffective. It’s an excellent time for strategizing and devising useful tactics to achieve our desires and goals. We’re resourceful and clever, and we know how to use words effectively–possibly using words as weapons! We’re quick on our feet and intelligent with plans and strategy.
Jupiter is in Aquarius from December 19th, 2020, to May 13, 2021, and then from July 28 to December 28, 2021. Read more about the Jupiter in Aquarius transit.
Saturn transits Aquarius from March 21 to July 1, 2020, and from December 17th, 2020, until March 7, 2023. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aquarius.
Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Aries from March 21 to April 14. In Aries, love is spontaneous and direct. The chase is very exciting to us under this fiery influence. We are bold, fresh, and a little impatient with matters of the heart. We don’t look back with Aries energy. We are not interested in saying sorry or dwelling on the past. It’s a brand new day! It’s time to make things work right now.
Aries is known for a love of the chase and the conquest, but Aries love can be longstanding as long as it remains relatively fresh. Aries is blunt–there’s no sugar-coating with Aries. This can sting, but rarely is Aries energy mean or petty. Saying it “like it is” is vital to Aries. Desires are strong and expressed spontaneously, enthusiastically, and directly. Aries prefers to seduce rather than be seduced, to chase rather than be chased.
This week: On Sunday, the 28th, we have powerful energy with us for breaking through a problem area in relationships with the goal of repairing and healing. We are open to romantic feelings and more willing than usual to act upon them. This is a good time to make a resolution to repair, heal, and improve relationships.
From Monday to Wednesday, relationships stabilize and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. Realism and reasonable expectations boost our confidence. We are more obliging, respectful, and sociable.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Aries Romance at the drop of a hat is part and parcel of the cycle you have just begun. Winning the hearts of others can be a challenge you’re eager to accept – and the thrill of the chase might be most of the fun. Is it the pursuit of happiness – or the happiness of pursuit?
Venus conjunct the Sun March 25-26. Good relating is the focus, although some may find this energy superficial in that surface charm, diplomacy, and harmony is the goal. The pursuit of pleasure is emphasized.
Venus semi-square Jupiter March 26-27. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus conjunct Chiron March 27-28. Healing energy is brought to love relationships, and a new cycle begins. A commitment-friendly transit. Love can heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings, and more willing to act upon them. This is a good time to make a resolution to repair, heal, and improve relationships.
Venus sextile Saturn March 29-30. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships. Relationships begun under this influence possess a distinctly practical theme, almost as if the partnership is a business endeavor.
Venus sextile North Node March 30-31. There is a stronger desire to connect to and belong with others at this time. We are more obliging and sociable.
Venus parallel Chiron April 3 to 4. Healing energy is brought to love relationships, and a new cycle begins. A commitment-friendly transit. Love can heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings, and more willing to act upon them. This is a good time to make a resolution to repair, heal, and improve relationships.
Venus parallel the Sun April 5 to 6. A strong desire for harmony and comfort fill us now. We may be moved to express our affections.
Venus sextile Mars April 5 to 6. This points to success and ease in close personal interactions. We are passionate and sexy. It is a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, romance, and pleasure. We are now able to take the initiative and to achieve harmony and sexual fulfillment. This influence brings satisfaction to the feelings. We may make permanent ties or relationships that prove to be fruitful and fortunate.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Saturday, March 27th, from 7:49 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Sunday, March 28th, at 1:23 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Monday, March 29th, from 8:08 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Tuesday, March 30th, at 1:34 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, March 31st, from 8:29 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Sagittarius the next day, Thursday, April 1st, at 1:59 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Saturday, April 3rd, from 1:24 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Mercury), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 4:14 AM EDT.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Venus conjunct Chiron. We have the chance to heal our personal relationships now, as we are more open to intimacy and commitment, as well as to learning from one another. We more easily see beauty in human weaknesses, and are less inclined to see fault, or to concern ourselves with fault. It’s a strong time for building trust in relationships, and for seeing potential in one another, although the process might feel painful! Insecurities are revealed and, ideally, cleansed. A new cycle of healing in love begins now.
Sun conjunct Chiron. An opportunity to find a sense of purpose or a “mission” arises now, increasing our confidence. Alternatively, we might face life lessons that get us in touch with the insecurities that hold us back from feeling confident. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong. Problem solving is favored.
Mercury conjunct Neptune. Our intuitive creativity is stimulated under this influence. A very positive transit for artistic and literary endeavors. We get insights into our own minds. Conscious reasoning can be distorted by subconscious matter, so concentrating on cold hard facts can be challenging. Daydreaming, visualization, and prophecy are stimulated. Communications may be unclear, vague, or downright confused. We may be subject to deception. Avoid signing contracts under this influence.
Venus sextile Saturn. Affections stabilize and mature. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships comes now. Small advances can be made in business and in partnerships. Support from older people or authority figures may come by way of solid advice or tangible help. Renewed ties to old friends are possible, or a new sense of responsibility in existing friendships.
Mercury semi-square Uranus. We can have flashes of insight, but tend to be scatterbrained. Our ideas and communications may not be well-received because they don’t seem to others to carry weight. Our minds are not peaceful or harmonious under this influence, and irritable tempers, sarcastic speech, and dogmatism are negative expressions of this energy.
Sun sextile Saturn. We feel grounded and stable. It’s easy to stick to a specific task and make headway. Productivity may be slow, but it’s steady. We are taking into account practical considerations and we are especially aware of the element of time. We are more able to discipline ourselves and put our egos aside in order to get the job done.
Mercury semi-square Saturn. Red tape, re-doing tasks we thought we had finished, problems getting from point A to point B, delays in communication, negative thinking, hyper-sensitivity and criticism–these are all potentials now. The energy is best used for focusing on fixing errors rather than harping on how irritating they are!
Mercury sextile Pluto. We possess more insight and psychological understanding than usual. We are willing to look beyond the surface of things and investigate further. Perhaps more importantly, we are more patient and strategic in our decision-making.

MARCH 28
The Moon enters Libra early today and reaches Full at 2:49 PM EDT. The Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, and relationship epiphanies can happen now. We’re likely to experience revelations about our independence, need for others, and partnerships. Venus aligns with the Sun and Chiron, and Venus rules the Libra Moon, making this configuration particularly useful for resolving conflicts. Saturn is trine the North Node, Mars is conjunct the North Node, and Saturn harmonizes with the Sun and Moon in this lunation chart. There can be helpful interactions with superiors or older or more experienced people, and benefits can emerge as a result. There can be a choice to structure, limit, or simplify our lives in a significant way that leads to substantial improvements. We’re a little more careful and conservative now, but we’re also up for a challenge if it means we’re growing and learning. Today, Venus aligns with Chiron, and the Sun will do the same early tomorrow, and it’s a time to express compassion or forgiveness. We may feel drawn to problem areas so that we can repair them. We more readily see the beauty in human weaknesses and the pain of growing, healing, and repair. It’s a strong time to build trust in relationships and see each other’s potential, although the process might feel challenging at points.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Libra today at 1:23 AM EDT.
MARCH 29
The Sun and Chiron align in the sign of Aries this morning, and this can pull up an opportunity to find a sense of purpose, increasing our confidence. Still, we might face life lessons that get us in touch with the insecurities that undercut our confidence. In fact, the way to grow and succeed seems to be to face our fears. The desire to learn through experiences and others is active now, and problem-solving is favored. This can be a time of building faith or confidence in our skills and talents. Openness and self-honesty are vital now, and the focus may be on asserting ourselves and acknowledging our own needs in healthy doses so that we can bring our “whole selves” to our activities. Tonight, Mercury aligns with Neptune, and we can more effectively ease some tension or release mental blocks. It can be a day of interesting ideas, tastes, conversations, and musings. We’re more inclined to apply our intuition to everyday issues and problems. Communications can be inspired and inspirational, quite fanciful, or vague and unclear, and possibly deceptive. The Moon spends the day in balanced, gracious Libra.
The void Moon occurs from 8:08 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Tuesday, March 30th, at 1:34 AM EDT.
MARCH 30
The Moon continues its transit of Libra until it enters Scorpio at 1:34 AM EDT. The Moon in Scorpio is persistent, passionate, and perceptive. There can be some resistance to our needs and desires around the Moon-Saturn square. However, Venus forms a sextile to Saturn, helping us fill our commitments, particularly in our relationships–we feel stronger for it. We place a higher value on security, steadiness, and loyalty. This transit helps stabilize us and boosts the appeal of the ordinary and reliable. We appreciate longstanding alliances or tried-and-true pleasures. We are more responsible with others and with our own feelings and affections. Our judgment is sound, and we’re a little more conservative with money under this influence.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Scorpio at 1:34 AM EDT.
MARCH 31
The Moon spends the day in Scorpio, and we seek to probe deeply into topics and understand things rather than scratch the surface today. Mercury’s semi-square to Uranus can have us feeling a little wired. We may be rushing to complete something, share an idea, or communicate, but things may end up half-done if we’re impatient. We are quickly distracted and bored with routine with this aspect. However, this evening’s Sun-Saturn sextile helps with patience. It’s an excellent influence for getting prepared and attending to our practical affairs. We’re giving our priorities extra attention and our best efforts. This transit helps ground us, or at the least, provides us with a sense of rhythm and helps us pace ourselves. It has the most beautiful potential to teach us that humbling ourselves to accept constructive criticism and advice or to recognize areas that need strengthening can be beneficial. It supports disciplining ourselves to bring more purpose and practicality to our lives. Self-awareness leads to realistic plans and goals. We prefer and benefit from conservative, safe moves now.
The void Moon occurs from 8:29 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Sagittarius the next day, Thursday, April 1st, at 1:59 AM EDT.
APRIL 1
The Moon continues its transit of Scorpio only until 1:59 AM EDT when it enters Sagittarius. The Sagittarius Moon is direct, spontaneous, and brave. This Moon position blends well with the Aries Sun’s fiery energy, encouraging a “can do” attitude, and the Moon and the Sun form a trine tonight. We’re enthusiastic. The Sun forms a sextile with the True North Node of the Moon today, encouraging us to grow, improve, and rise to a challenge. A Mercury-Saturn semi-square tonight, however, points to potential delays or miscommunications. We may need to manage some inconveniences in our communications and transit. Mercury is approaching a sextile to Pluto, improving our ability to see more layers of a situation. We might discover new information that gives us an edge or finally “see” the truth of a matter that we’ve avoided.
The void Moon continues until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:59 AM EDT.
APRIL 2
Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto this morning, making it a powerful time to look more deeply into a matter. We benefit from being patient and strategic in our decision-making, and we’re willing to look beyond the surface of things. Conversations are probing, investigative, and meaningful, and we may come to an improved psychological understanding of our lives. We might arrive at valuable truths or insights. It’s a good time to let go of something that has kept us bound or stuck in a difficult position. The Moon spends the day in adventurous Sagittarius. The Sagittarius Moon’s opposition to Mars this morning is somewhat volatile, and its square to Neptune early afternoon is potentially disorienting. We should watch for difficulties with boundaries, rules, and limits or for attempts to take the easy way out. Otherwise, this Moon transit inspires us to expand our minds and interests.
APRIL 3
The Moon ends its transit of Sagittarius when it enters Capricorn at 4:14 AM EDT today, turning our attention to our goals and performance. Our responsibilities and practical priorities come into sharper focus. Still, today’s transits encourage pouring our hearts and special attention into a project, pursuit, or relationship. Mercury enters Aries tonight, and until the 19th, Mercury in Aries can feel refreshingly decisive and forward-looking. It can certainly be a time when we’re a bit impatient or terse, but it can feel good not to dwell or spend too much time arriving at conclusions in the weeks ahead. We’re less concerned with objective viewpoints and explanations during this cycle and more concerned with reaching a decision quickly. We want to pioneer and innovate now, or we want to be the first ones with the idea. It’s time to speak more spontaneously and directly with the planet of communication in bold and assertive Aries.
The void Moon occurs from 1:24 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Mercury), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 4:14 AM EDT.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Aries A new sense of self, a more assertive personal style, a more dynamic approach to life: these are the hallmarks of the cycle that begins for you now. Doubts fade into the background, and reserve is more and more a thing of the past. It’s time for action; your destiny is in your hands, rather than set apart. Full speed ahead (“and damn the torpedoes”) is your motto now, for better or for worse!
Mercury in Pisces Knowing things without knowing how you know them is typical at a time like this. The mystical, the universal, the eternal: these are the things that stir your curiosity. Call it psychic, call it deja vu … it can be there when you call on it, whatever you call it. (Remembering the little things might become more difficult, however: it’s tough to remember if you paid the electric bill when you’re more interested in the eternal verities.)
Mercury in Aries New ideas and an independent or pioneering mental orientation take on more importance in your life at this time. Teaching, learning, communicating, and social contact have a way of outlining new directions in your life now, and there is much activity and involvement with these kinds of issues.
Mars in Gemini Learning, communicating, the exchange of ideas: these are the experiences you crave as a means to make your mark now, as a new phase begins in your life. You’re a person with something to say, and you realize that others have information that is essential to your goals. A time of much mental energy and initiative … perhaps with an element of conflict tossed in for good measure.
Jupiter in Aquarius Innovation, reform, and idealism are your paths to growth and gain now. New, futuristic ideas are part of this, but it’s more than that: putting them into practice is essential because this is much more than empty idealism. A break from the past, a willingness to flaunt convention.
Saturn in Aquarius Ideals are in for a period of testing, as a new phase begins in your life. What are principles worth, unless they are put into practice? That’s an important question for you now. This could mean you may be disappointed by causes you believe in – but if you abandon your principles, you lose.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone, and everyone in their place…
