Saturn sextile Uranus in April. This is a time when original ideas take form or are developed successfully. There is an opportunity to combine stability and improvement or excitement with good results. The same can be true of innovation and tradition. We’re building our character and learning life lessons more readily. It’s a time of solid, meaningful progress.

For Sagittarius, while you experience essential life lessons, rules, or restrictions related to your home, family, and personal life, you’re finding fantastic outlets for releasing related stress or tension or creating a better sense of balance. Compartmentalizing and balancing work and home life can be the key, or your work and home life can combine in magical and practical ways.

Other influences and minor transits:

Mars is retrograde from December 6th, 2024, to February 23rd, 2025, in the signs of Leo and Cancer (pre-retrograde shadow begins October 4th). We can feel stuck on past relationships or situations, finding it difficult to move ahead.

Slowdowns, reparations, and reconsiderations were most significant for you with your outlook, adventurous spirit, studies, beliefs, legal or educational matters, and publishing or sharing in the 2024 portion of this retrograde cycle (until January 6th, 2025).

But in this 2025 portion of this Mars retrograde cycle, slowdowns and complications are most apparent with intimacy, finances, and sharing. Intimate matters may become more intense and complicated. Joint financial projects or initiatives may stall, or there’s some ambiguity with finances, particularly debts and shared money or resources.

Refocusing, backtracking, and review may be necessary. You could be exploring anger and assertion over profoundly buried matters, and learning to manage your life on an emotional level in better ways. Mars retrogrades tend to turn your attention to unresolved issues as you may be seeking closure or you may be looking to reopen something that ended a while ago. The steps you take now to reorganize will benefit you greatly down the road.

Keep in mind that pushing yourself during this cycle, particularly in these areas of life, will only lead to frustrations and slowdowns. It’s time to review and consider making changes to your approach to getting what you want in these areas.

Because Mars is the natural ruler of your solar fifth house, issues surrounding creativity, leisure, or romance may also (or instead) be subject to delays and reconsiderations or adjustments during this Mars retrograde period.
