However, most notably when Pluto is working in harmony with other planets, it can also be a powerful period for communications, personal influence, and persuasion. You’re learning how to balance your interests with other life departments, and perhaps with a little less unhealthy obsession, and the result is magical!

Pluto is your modern planetary ruler, and Mars is your ancient ruler. Pluto is transitioning out of the sign of Capricorn and into Aquarius again this year, and you, too, can go through a personality transition. You’re becoming less guarded with what you say, for example. Still, any transition can come with some hiccups. It would be wise to be gentle with yourself.

Mars is retrograde this year, but only from December 6th forward (until February 23rd, 2025). It’s important that, during this period, you get the rest you need and that you avoid pushing yourself or your personal plans and ventures ahead. Observe, reflect, and be as patient as you can.

Note, too, that there’s a pre-retrograde shadow period in which it’s best not to push your affairs forward, and this shadow phase occurs from October 4th forward. Ideally, you’ll handle your bigger initiatives before this period.

While Mars is retrograde, it’s best to focus on reorientation and building up resources and energy.
