The NEW MOON occurs on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 1:30 AM EDT.
Early Wednesday, the New Moon occurs as the Moon aligns with the Sun in the sign of Virgo.
A time of new beginnings, this New Moon presents an excellent opportunity for us to formulate some goals regarding “all things Virgo.”
We’d do well to concentrate on new ways to get our day-to-day life organized. We might think about the keywords for this particular and earthy sign — such things as analytical, intelligent, reserved, critical, helpful, conscientious — and consider ways to incorporate these traits into our personalities. The New Moon in Virgo is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Virgin. These include building our powers of healthy, constructive discrimination; rolling up our sleeves and getting down to some serious work; beginning a new project that requires attention to details; making lists, actively ticking off completed activities, and taking pride in our “little” accomplishments; starting a health regime, researching nutrition and nourishment, and paying attention to our diet; setting up specific routines that will help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways; and handling the finer details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion so that we can free our minds of clutter.
This New Moon occurs as Jupiter and Uranus move towards an opposition — an atmosphere that is a little too risky, disorganized, or chaotic for Virgo’s tastes — and the quincunx from Uranus to the New Moon emphasizes this awkward relationship.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 27 degrees and 27 minutes of Virgo conjunct the Sun, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 24 to 30 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.

(Times are Eastern)
The Sun is in Virgo until Friday, September 22nd, when it enters Libra; Mercury is in Virgo; Venus is in Leo until Tuesday, the 19th, when it enters Virgo; Mars is in Virgo.
The Sun is in Virgo from August 22-September 22. Our focus shifts to the pieces of the puzzle–the little details of our lives. It is now time to take care of practical concerns. Tending to the details of everyday life may not sound like loads of fun, but it can certainly free us from unnecessary stress that results from “collecting” odds and ends of unfinished business. This is an ideal time to get organized, to do detail work, and to improve communications on the job.
The Sun is in Libra from September 22-October 23. Libra rules relationships with others as mirrors of ourselves. Meeting others halfway, compromise, and negotiation come under the rule of Libra. The focus is now on balance–finding balance and harmony through relationships with others and through art. Libra is the sign of the peacemaker. However, life is not always peaceful with Libra in its attempt to restore balance. Decision-making can be more challenging while the Sun is in Libra. Libra weighs both sides of any situation, and sometimes this process seems endless! In Libra, the Sun is concerned about not rocking the boat and not rubbing others the wrong way. Tactfulness, style, tolerance, and sociability are some of the keywords for Libra. On the shadow side, Libra can be self-serving, indecisive, passive-aggressive, and superficial.
Mercury is in Virgo from July 25-August 31 and then September 9-29. When Mercury is in Virgo, precision in speech, thought, and process is now important to us. This is a time when we analyze and decide what is useful and what we deem to be impractical. Mercury feels right at home in Virgo, one of the signs that it rules. Dealing with details is natural and easy now. We need to be careful that we don’t lose perspective if we find ourselves lost in details. We should also be aware of the possibility of expressing ourselves in a too factual manner, so much so that we come across as dry, critical, or unimaginative.
Venus is in Leo from August 26-September 19. Love is magnificent and grand. We take pride in love, and we are generous with our money as well. This is a warm-hearted, teasing, expressive, proud, and extravagant placement for Venus. Love is a bit of a game–a game that is perpetual, as Venus in Leo is forever stuck in the romance stage of a relationship. We feed on attention, acknowledgment, validation, and adoration. Venus in Leo loves to be adored, pampered, and admired. Pride and passion are hallmarks of this cycle. We have a strong ego investment in our love lives during this period. The negative expression of this placement is overstating our feelings simply for the effect, as well as extravagance.
Venus is in Virgo from September 19-October 14. This is a time when we express our love through practical means and gestures–running errands, doing detail work, or just being there for our lovers. Love needs to make sense and have a purpose with Venus in Virgo. Virgo is an Earth sign, which is sensual but also quite practical. Besides our romantic natures, what we decide to buy and the types of entertainment we enjoy during this cycle is ruled by whether or not things make sense. We could easily feel guilty if we are too self-indulgent at this time. Rendering services to others can fill a need and can be an expression of love. The shadow side of this position is being overly critical of our partners, picky, or worrisome.
Mars is in Virgo from September 5-October 22. In Virgo, Mars is somewhat of a workhorse. We have a passion for details, as well as a need to do the right thing at just the right time under this influence. The satisfaction of a job well done is one of your greatest incentives now. We are more precise and concerned about performance.
Saturn transits Sagittarius from December 23, 2014, to June 14, 2015, and then from September 17, 2015, to December 20, 2017. Read about Saturn’s transit through Sagittarius here.
Jupiter entered Libra on September 9th, 2016, and will transit Libra until October 10, 2017, after which Jupiter will be in Scorpio. Read about Jupiter in Libra here. Read about the upcoming Jupiter in Scorpio transit here.
Uranus entered Aries on March 11th, 2011 and will transit Aries until May 15, 2018, and then from November 6, 2018, to March 6, 2019. The urge to start fresh, to break free from restrictive attitudes or circumstances, to totally redesign an area of our lives (or even our personalities), and to gain freedom through independence is strong with Uranus in Aries.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Leo from August 26-September 19. Romance becomes an end in itself during this cycle. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth characterizes this cycle. Love is magnificent and grand!
This is a time when we express our love through practical means and gestures–running errands, doing detail work, or just “being there” for our lovers. Essentially, we fuss over our partners, sometimes a little too much! Our availability and accessibility is a sign of love. Love needs to make sense and have a purpose with Venus in Virgo. Virgo is an Earth sign, which is sensual but also quite practical. We could easily feel guilty if we are too self-indulgent during this cycle. We can be a little shy and prone to worry. We pick up on many different cues, attempting to analyze every detail of our lovers’ reactions and responses. We could worry ourselves sick agonizing over details! In the process, we can miss out on the bigger and perhaps more meaningful cues. As well, Virgo is a sign that can live very much in the mind in the middle of an experience, failing to enjoy the moment. Self-consciousness can get in the way of enjoyment. Rendering services to others can fill a need, nd can be an expression of love. The shadow side of this position is being overly critical of our partners, picky, or worrisome.
This week: Sunday is good for introducing change into a relationship or for taking a chance on a social level. There can be some underlying tensions and perhaps jealousy or resentment working against us on Wednesday and Thursday.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Leo August 26-September 19. Romance becomes an end in itself as a new cycle begins for you. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth.
Venus in Virgo September 19-October 14. If it makes sense you love it, and if it doesn’t you feel guilty about it: that’s what it’s like now. A loving attention to details and a sense of satisfaction in doing what is right (especially with respect to your health) are some of the qualities that come to the fore at a time like this.
Venus sextile Jupiter September 15. This aspect generates a happy, friendly, and optimistic attitude. People are a little more outgoing and sociable than usual. Favors travel, education, and culture. Romantic opportunities. Harmony and good will.
Venus quincunx Chiron September 16-17. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Venus trine Uranus September 17-18. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, and we happily embrace all that is new, unusual, and out-of-the-ordinary with regards to romantic involvements. We are ready to experiment, but not necessarily ready to commit.
Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto September 20-21. Tendencies to look for something wrong in a relationship. Jealousy raises its ugly head.
Venus parallel Uranus September 24-25. We embrace all that is new, unusual, and out-of-the-ordinary with regards to romantic involvements. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time. We are ready to experiment, but not necessarily ready to commit. Peculiar, sudden, or avant-garde attractions. This is an exciting but unstable energy. Friendship in love relationships becomes more important.
Venus opposition Neptune September 29. Not a good time to start a new relationship, which could be characterized by disappointments, and the tendency to feel emotionally (and sometimes financially) drained by the partner. Uncertainties about existing love.
Venus trine Pluto October 3. Powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships. New insights into relationships and love. Strong attractions. Relationships are intense and deep, but not draining.
Venus parallel Mars October 5-6. Favors romantic and sexual relationships. Intense passions.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, September 17th, from 8:55 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Monday, September 18th, at 12:53 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, September 20th, from 1:30 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to the Sun), until the Moon enters Libra at 6:06 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, September 22nd, from 9:05 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Uranus), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 1:41 PM EDT.
Void of Course Moon – September 2017
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
The Moon is waning this week until the New Moon on the 20th — a period that is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). After the New Moon on the 20th, the Moon is waxing — a period that is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, again with exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from Friday, September 15th, at approximately 9:10 PM EDT, until Sunday, September 17th, at approximately 8:50 PM EDT (better before 8:30 PM), while the Moon is in Leo. Another window occurs around the Cazimi Moon on Wednesday, September 20th, from approximately 5:35 to 6:35 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Virgo. Another window occurs from Friday, September 22nd, from approximately 1:45 PM EDT, until Sunday, September 24th, at approximately 3:30 AM EDT (although this occurs at the time of an approaching Mars-Neptune opposition).

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Venus quincunx Chiron. There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships; or a choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or flowingly.
Venus trine Uranus. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, and we happily embrace all that is new, unusual, and out-of-the-ordinary with regards to romantic involvements as well as financial undertakings. We are ready to experiment, but not ready to commit. Creative inspiration can be had. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize. A good time for financial undertakings involving electronics, technology, the internet, metaphysics, and the arts, as well as group activities.
Mercury semi-square Jupiter. We experience information overload, and we neglect to consider details. People tend to exaggerate today. Monotonous mental tasks are harder to take under this influence. Our minds are restless.
Sun opposition Chiron. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong but may be hampered by a lack of confidence or a fear of being different. We may not be seeing eye to eye with others, and lack of faith in our own decisions is likely as well. We might also be so concerned with keeping others happy that we are afraid to assert our own desires.
Mercury opposition Neptune. We are mentally lazy, finding that our minds wander when presented with technical facts. It’s hard to get solid answers from others, and we can too easily misrepresent ourselves. Avoid signing contracts or formalizing agreements. There can be misunderstandings, misinformation, wishful thinking, confusion, some depression, carelessness, and deception. Our thinking may be self-defeating.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Uranus. We can have flashes of insight, but tend to be scatterbrained. Our ideas and communications may not be well-received because they don’t seem to others to carry weight. Our minds are not peaceful or harmonious under this influence, and irritable tempers, sarcastic speech, and dogmatism are negative expressions of this energy. However, fresh and creative ideas may come to us now.
Sun quincunx Uranus. Surprise elements make us feel out of control of our lives or the direction we would like to take. Disrupted plans or schedules. Unexpected events or change of plans.
Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto. This influence can point to some underlying tensions in social interactions (looking for an ulterior motive and suspiciousness) and relationships (possible jealousies). Passions run hot, but there’s a hidden agenda. Feelings of jealousy and possessiveness can be brewing just under the surface of things, and they are in direct proportion to our fear of losing something or someone dear to us.
Mercury trine Pluto. Our mental faculties are attuned to otherworldly impressions, offering us increased insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and focused attention.
Mars semi-square Jupiter. Although we may have much enthusiasm for life and for new projects, over-confidence and over-estimation of what we can do are likely. We are ready and willing to fight for our beliefs. We may be excitable and competitive. Jumping ahead without considering the consequences can be costly.
Jupiter quincunx Chiron. There can be a questioning of our goals, or possibly our beliefs and faith, as doubt and uncertainty are likely now. We may feel a little lost and susceptible to influence. If we are not self-aware, we might push impractical ideas and projects ahead, only to face obstacles. Circumstances are such that we need to make adjustments to our plans and goals. We may need to tame expectations of ourselves and of others if they are unreasonably high.

SEPTEMBER 17
Socially, while we can hold some of ourselves back, we have a pleasant, offbeat attitude to others today with a Venus-Uranus trine and a Venus-Chiron quincunx. We can feel creatively inspired, celebrate the avant-garde, and entertain unusual cravings. We are a little more open-minded in our relationships, business, and pleasures or entertainment, and this can open up new opportunities to us. We could be a little commitment-shy today, however, and we need to watch for a tendency to put ourselves into situations that we may not be ready for at this time. However, particularly as the day advances and the Moon also plays into the Venus-Uranus trine, engaging our emotions, we’re open to explore and experiment as we feel a need to break away from our usual choices. We’re intrigued by our differences. The Moon is in creative, affectionate, and proud Leo all day.
The Moon is void from 8:55 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Uranus), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Monday, September 18th, at 12:53 AM EDT.
SEPTEMBER 18
The Moon continues its transit of Leo only until 12:53 AM EDT when it enters Virgo. The Virgo Moon stimulates our helpful, practical side. However, a Mercury-Jupiter semisquare active today can point to information overload or a problem with keeping the facts straight. Exaggeration is likely with this aspect. We have little patience with menial or monotonous tasks as we hunger for more on a mental level. We’re also moving towards an opposition between the Sun and Chiron, exact early tomorrow but strongly influencing today. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and others is strong but may be hampered by a lack of confidence or a fear of being different. We may not be seeing eye to eye with others, and lack of faith in our own decisions is possible as well. We might also be so concerned with keeping others happy that we are afraid to assert our desires. However, this is also a time for seeing something important about ourselves through our interactions with others.
The Moon is void until 12:53 AM EDT when it enters Virgo.
SEPTEMBER 19
The Moon spends the day in Virgo, but as fact-focused and organized Virgo aims to be, there can be difficulties on these fronts today. Mercury’s opposition to Neptune can blur our perceptions. We may be seeing others in an unrealistic light and discrepancies can emerge today to challenge our thinking. Concentrating on technical facts can be difficult. If our minds are wandering, it may be that we have neglected to “feed” our imaginations recently. We should watch for misrepresenting ourselves, overlooking important practical details, and thinking that’s self-defeating. There can be misunderstandings, misinformation, confusion, carelessness, and deception. We may be feeling temporarily demotivated. However, this can be a good time for stretching our thinking so that we can dream up possibilities we might miss on a regular day. As well, the Moon is Balsamic, and it’s better to wind down than wind up. Also today, Venus enters Virgo, where it will transit until October 14th. With this move, we now have the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in the sign! Today, the Moon is in Virgo as well, and early tomorrow, the New Moon occurs. Love needs to make sense and have a purpose with Venus in Virgo. Virgo is an Earth sign, which is sensual but also quite practical. Rendering services to others can fill a need and can be an expression of love during this cycle. We might enjoy our work or routines more than usual now. Mercury leaves its post-retrograde shadow today.
SEPTEMBER 20
At 1:30 AM EDT today, the New Moon occurs as the Moon aligns with the Sun in the sign of Virgo. A time of new beginnings, this New Moon presents an excellent opportunity for us to formulate some goals regarding “all things Virgo.” We’d do well to concentrate on new ways to get our day-to-day life organized. We might think about the keywords for this particular and earthy sign — such things as analytical, intelligent, reserved, critical, helpful, conscientious — and consider ways to incorporate these traits into our personalities. The New Moon in Virgo is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Virgin, such as building our powers of healthy, constructive discrimination, beginning a new project that requires attention to details, starting a health regime, setting up specific routines that will help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways, and handling the finer details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion so that we can free our minds of clutter. This New Moon occurs as Jupiter and Uranus move towards an opposition — an atmosphere that is a little too risky, disorganized, or chaotic for Virgo’s tastes — and the quincunx from Uranus to the New Moon emphasizes this awkward relationship. However, we’ll do best if we allow for some surprise elements now. Fortunately, Virgo is an adaptable sign. Striving for perfection can be a wonderful challenge, as long as we don’t allow ourselves to become overly focused on flaws and feel guilty or stressed about them. The Moon continues its transit of Virgo only until 6:06 AM EDT when it enters relationship-focused, gracious Libra.
A void of course Moon occurs from 1:30 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to the Sun), until the Moon enters Libra at 6:06 AM EDT.
SEPTEMBER 21
The Moon spends the day in balance-oriented Libra, and we seek to harmonize in our interactions and environments. While we typically sidestep conflict under this influence, we’re inclined to look for it on an entirely different level. With Venus in dynamic aspect to Pluto, we’re taking our relationships, social life, pastimes, and possessions a little more seriously, possibly also fearing their loss or loss of power or control. This influence can point to some underlying tensions, doubts, or jealousies in our interactions.
SEPTEMBER 22
The Moon transits Libra until 1:41 PM EDT, after which the Moon is in Scorpio. A trine between Mercury and Pluto today pairs particularly well with the perceptive Scorpio Moon. Our mental faculties are attuned to otherworldly impressions, offering us increased insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and focused attention. We seek out the hidden message now. Also today, the Sun enters Libra, where it will transit until October 23rd.
A void of course Moon occurs from 9:05 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Uranus), until the Moon enters Scorpio at 1:41 PM EDT.
SEPTEMBER 23
Mars and Jupiter form a semi-square early today, and we should watch for over-confidence and over-estimation of what we can do. This influence is competitive, excitable, combative, enthusiastic, and impulsive. A longer-term influence comes exact this morning: Jupiter quincunx Chiron. This aspect first formed on the last day of 2016, was exact again in February, and now forms for the final time in this set. We may need to tame expectations of ourselves and others if they are unreasonably high. The Moon spends the day in Scorpio.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Leo
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Virgo You’re coming into a new cycle centered on taking what you know and what you’ve got and then making the most of it in the real world. Assimilating information and experience, learning lessons and putting them into practice – that’s the focus as this cycle unfolds. It’s a time for prudence and stewardship, a time to tend to the details. You probably already have the grand ideals and visions: now you must get your hands dirty with the bricks and mortar and your mind busy with putting it all together.
Sun in Libra Meeting yourself in another person is the keynote of a new cycle which begins for you now. Relationships – romantic, business, social – are the arena where this drama is played out. In coming to know the other person, forging ties that bind two people, you come to a better understanding of yourself. It’s easy in theory, but it’s only in practice that it comes to mean anything real – so practice until you get it right!
Mercury in Virgo Mental discipline and patience are keynoted as you enter into a new cycle. Thinking things through, accounting for all the details, making careful measurements: these and similar experiences keep your mind active and involved. An interest in health and work may come to the fore.
Venus in Leo Romance becomes an end in itself as a new cycle begins for you. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth.
Venus in Virgo If it makes sense you love it, and if it doesn’t you feel guilty about it: that’s what it’s like now. A loving attention to details and a sense of satisfaction in doing what is right (especially with respect to your health) are some of the qualities that come to the fore at a time like this.
Mars in Virgo As a new cycle dawns in your life, there arises a passion for details, a need to do just the right thing at just the right time, and a burning desire to have a place for everything and everything in its place. This can be hard on the digestion if taken to extremes! The satisfaction of a job well done is one of your greatest incentives now.
Jupiter in Libra The ties that bind, the harmonious integration of opposites, the perfect balance: these are the keys to your greatest opportunities now. Marriage and other close personal relationships tend to offer bright prospects, and you have a deep yearning to experience the fulfillment they can bring.
Saturn in Sagittarius The new phase now beginning in your life brings a need to break out of narrow concepts and legalistic philosophical or religious ideas. Remember: “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds.” Opportunities to broaden your mental horizons may not come with ease, but they are essential if you are to avoid a kind of spiritual stagnation.
Uranus in Aries A clean break with the past in some respects is signaled by the cycle you have just begun. What YOU need, YOUR freedom and independence, shattering old molds: these are the things that energize you and take priority in your life. Uniqueness and originality set you apart.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
