The aspects above are aspects Jupiter makes while in the sign of Libra. Jupiter’s major aspects during its transit of Libra are mostly challenging. During Jupiter’s quincunx to Neptune from October 2016 to July 2017, routine seems to be particularly unsatisfying. This is a time when we easily take a detour from a practical path. It can also be a time when we may be disillusioned by something (or someone). Spiritual inspiration is a potential, however, but we need to make real efforts to incorporate our spiritual and romantic needs, as well as compassion, into our goals and relationships. Jupiter also forms a quincunx with Chiron in Pisces, pulling up similar themes. We should be especially alert to the possibility that we may be tempted to go against our beliefs in order to please someone – this, of course, should be avoided as much as possible. It could lead to a gigantic “what was I thinking?!” moment down the line.

However, the biggest challenges, and also rewards, are likely to emerge through Jupiter’s opposition to Uranus and square to Pluto. While these are difficult aspects, they are necessary and welcome, as we need to come to some form of balance. In an overview sense, this can pull relationships into the picture, helping to balance out the excessive self-seeking energy, we’ve been dealing with in recent years. This is likely to be a struggle, but we’ll be seeing more and more cries for etiquette, graciousness, peacefulness, tact, fairness, and social justice.

We’ll also be wanting to see more people getting along, particularly those who we don’t typically see united. Jupiter’s one major aspect that’s flowing during its transit of Libra is a quick-pass transit, unfortunately, but it comes in August 2017 towards the end of the transit, helping to crystallize and lock down lessons learned and endeavors begun during the course of the transit.
