The FIRST QUARTER MOON occurs on Monday, May 21st, 2018, at 11:49 PM EDT.
On Monday night, a First Quarter Moon occurs, when the Sun in Gemini forms a square with the Moon in Virgo. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we are made aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles.
This phase of the Moon occurs at 1 degree and 2 minutes of Virgo forming a square with the Sun at 1 degree and 2 minutes of Gemini, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 28 to 30 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) and approximately 0 to 4 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most significantly.
The NEW MOON occurred on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 7:48 AM EDT.
On Tuesday morning, a new cycle began. The Aries New Moon cycle ended and the Taurus New Moon cycle began.
The New Moon in Taurus is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Bull. It’s time to enjoy life’s simple and physical pleasures–savor good food and enjoy activities that bring us in touch with nature and with our bodies. It’s time to stop and smell the roses and to become more aware of what makes us feel comfortable and secure. This is a good cycle under which to re-evaluate our relationship to money and possessions, as well as to discover what truly makes us happy and fulfilled.
With this potent Taurus energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. It’s time to make some solid yet realistic plans and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our new beginnings, as little or big as they may be, in approximately two weeks’ time after the Full Moon occurs.
This New Moon occurs just before both Mars and Uranus change signs and form a square to one another. While Taurus seeks predictability and often resists change, this combination is dramatic, abrupt, and possibly disruptive. And, although Mars changes signs on average every two months, Uranus spends about seven years in a sign. Uranus enters Taurus on the same day of the New Moon. The New Moon also forms trines to Mars and Pluto, suggesting the need for long-term change. We can feel rushed into it, however! Or, we may feel life is moving ahead very quickly and we need to catch up.
This phase of the Moon occurred at 24 degrees and 36 minutes of Taurus, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 21 to 29 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.

(Times are Eastern)
The Sun is in Taurus until the 2oth, when it enters Gemini; Mercury is in Taurus; Venus is in Cancer; Mars is in Aquarius.
The Sun is in Taurus from April 19-May 20. In Taurus, the Sun is methodical, sensual, and receptive. The Sun in Taurus is most active when it is defending or resisting things! As the Sun moves through Taurus when plants take root, our determination and security needs are strong. Taurus is loyal to all that is familiar and values longevity. The shadow side of Taurus is possessiveness and bullheadedness.
The Sun is in Gemini from May 20-June 21. Knowledge and diversity motivate us with the Sun in Gemini. We are more sociable, intellectual, and insatiably curious under this influence. We tend to scatter our energies as a result of this curiosity and awareness of all of our options. We are more communicative and versatile, but we can also be unreliable.
Mercury is in Taurus from May 13-29. When Mercury is in Taurus, our thinking is down to earth, solid, and grounded. Common sense reigns over more fanciful thinking. We communicate more deliberately under this influence, and our minds are oriented to the world of the five senses. We prefer the tried and true rather than new ways of thinking. Attention to one thing at a time can simplify our lives, but we may be in danger of narrow, overly conservative, or rigid thinking.
Venus is in Cancer from May 19-June 13. In Cancer, Venus is nurturing, protective and self-protective, cautious, and fertile. We experience many emotional ups and downs in love under this influence due to increased sensitivity and impressionability. We are tender, romantic, and attached. Cancer love is dedicated, warm, and devoted. We show our love through our devotion, care, and concern. We are affectionate and cuddly, and are at our best when we feel safe and secure.
Mars is in Aquarius from May 16-August 12 and September 10-November 15. Dynamic yet erratic energy levels, achieving our goals through hit or miss tactics, and impersonal expression of anger are characteristics of Mars in Aquarius. We are team players–cooperative and less concerned about personal power. We are attracted to unconventional methods, and tend to approach problems from an intellectual, detached perspective.
Saturn transits Capricorn from December 19/20, 2017, to March 21, 2020; and then finishes up its transit from July 1 to December 17, 2020. Read about Saturn’s transit through Capricorn here.
Jupiter entered Scorpio on October 10th, 2017, and will remain in the sign until November 8th, 2018. Read about Jupiter in Scorpio transit here.
Uranus enters Taurus on May 15, 2018, and will transit Taurus until November 6, 2018, and then from March 6, 2019, to 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. We’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle. There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. We’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money are likely. Income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Uranus entered Aries on March 11th, 2011, and will transit Aries until May 15, 2018, and then from November 6, 2018, to March 6, 2019. The urge to start fresh, to break free from restrictive attitudes or circumstances, to totally redesign an area of our lives (or even our personalities), and to gain freedom through independence is strong with Uranus in Aries.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Gemini from April 24-May 19. Saying (or writing) it with style comes naturally now. A yen for variety is a hallmark of this phase, and this especially applies to romantic experience and artistic tastes. (The latter tends to focus on literature in general and poetry in particular.) A sociable, congenial, slightly frivolous orientation sets in.
This week: Sunday brings the need to make adjustments in our relationships or confusion with our feelings. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. As well, past wounds or pain in relationships can affect us in the present. The opposition between Venus and Saturn can be felt on Friday and Saturday and can point to the need to be mature in love. We are assessing our relationships from a practical standpoint. We may feel inhibited when it comes to expressing our feelings. This can be a time when May-December romances are prominent. We can also be especially sensitive to what’s being communicated now.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Cancer May 19-June 13. Mothering (or being mothered), sympathy, a yearning to put down roots, and a fondness for things that have stood the test of time – these are some of the hallmarks of the phase that now begins in your life. Romantic and social experiences, as well as artistic tastes, will show evidence of these factors.
Venus sextile Uranus May 18-19. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, and we happily embrace all that is new, unusual, and out-of-the-ordinary with regards to romantic involvements. We are ready to experiment, but not necessarily ready to commit.
Venus square Chiron May 20. Not a commitment-friendly transit. We are somewhat fearful of investing ourselves emotionally in a relationship.
Venus quincunx Mars May 20. When we attempt to be friendly, we seem to miss the mark. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. This is a less-than-ideal transit under which to begin a new relationship.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter May 20. We experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive. Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in your partnerships.
Venus opposition Saturn May 25-26. We keep others at arm’s length, unsure of whether we are loved or not. This is a somewhat inhibiting influence when it appears that people value utility over true love. An element of seriousness permeates our love relationships. We may feel criticized and inhibited, unloved and unsatisfied, but our worst enemies may be ourselves and our own fears of getting close to others.
Venus semi-square Mercury May 25-26. Communications between lovers may feel superficial or unsatisfying, and perhaps awkward. We may be especially sensitive to what’s being communicated now.
Venus trine Jupiter May 31-June 1. Harmony and good will reign under this influence. Expansive feelings in love, and a feeling that anything is possible if we set our sights high enough, are experienced now. We are friendly, big-hearted, sociable, and optimistic. It is easy to make social contacts under this influence. Cheerfulness, trust, and confidence in love and social matters.
Venus trine Neptune June 1-2. We perceive romantic situations as if they were “designed” just for us. A magical, romantic time. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. Romance is highly favored. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships.
Venus opposition Pluto June 5. This is a period of intense feelings, as well as possible emotional distress and tension caused by romantic troubles or social manipulation. An experience of being used or abused physically, emotionally or sexually may cause us suffering or disappointment. Sexually driven emotions are likely now. Fears of betrayal may get the best of us.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects. The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart for the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass. The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Sunday, May 20th, from 11:30 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Monday, May 21st, at 10:03 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, May 23rd, from 10:55 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Thursday, May 24th, at 2:52 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Friday, May 25th, from 5:04 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Saturday, May 26th, at 9:39 AM EDT.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Mars sextile Chiron. We may have the opportunity to take the lead, or to take action, regarding matters that lead to healing, cleansing, or teaching now. We can feel a sense of mission. There is likely to be a feeling of fearlessness when it comes to addressing problem areas, and self-confidence as well. There is a drive to take positive action, usually to defend or help others (or ourselves). It’s a strong period for cooperation and purposeful activity.
Venus square Chiron. Blocks to intimacy, learning from one another, and commitment can be experienced now. Insecurities on a social level can be magnified.
Venus quincunx Mars. When we try to be friendly, we seem to miss the mark. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result.
Venus sesquiquadrate Jupiter. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. Problems in our personal life likely won’t get resolved under this influence. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.
Sun sextile Chiron. An opportunity to find a sense of purpose or a “mission” arises now, increasing our confidence. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong. Problem-solving is favored.
Jupiter sesquiquadrate Chiron. This can be a time when we are hungry for meaning and understanding, but it can be difficult to align ourselves with a personal philosophy or belief system that truly reflects our core. We might be led astray by beliefs and ideas now, or we might experience some form of crisis of faith. It is important to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that doesn’t truly serve our purpose. New business endeavors may require a closer look before pushing forward.
Mercury sextile Neptune. Intuition runs high; we are more sensitive artistically; imagination is stirred, and we have an increased appreciation for subtleties. We are inspired and we are able to inspire others with our words.
Mercury opposition Jupiter. In an attempt to attach greater meaning to our thoughts and ideas, we may exaggerate, overstate, or overestimate. We strive to find both meaning and purpose to our lives. However, it is all too easy to miss or neglect important details. Our ideas and plans may be too grandiose just now. Lack of clear mental focus, but we may make measurable progress if we can focus.
Mercury semi-square Chiron. Communications may be careless, hurtful or perceived as hurtful under this influence. It can be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate now. There may be impatience with rules, worry or guilty feelings, and conflicting viewpoints now.
Sun trine Mars. Energy and vitality are strong. Natural confidence that doesn’t come across as offensive. A good time to take the initiative. Favors physical activity. Effective decision-making is possible now.
Jupiter trine Neptune. Idealistic and humanitarian goals or impulses surface now. Making connections with others from a different background may figure. Widening our minds through unusual or different experiences can be part of the picture. Practical considerations could take a back seat now. Generosity and compassion increases and our faith is boosted. We more easily make personal sacrifices for what we believe to be the better good.
Mercury trine Pluto. Our mental faculties are attuned to otherworldly impressions, offering us increased insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and focused attention.
Venus opposition Saturn. Not a good influence for financial endeavors. Burdens are magnified.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Saturn. Red tape, re-doing tasks you thought you finished, problems getting from point A to point B, delays in communication, negative thinking, hypersensitivity, and criticism.
Mercury semi-square Venus. Difficulties in social or romantic communication are possible today. On the other hand, we may make more efforts to be polite and to communicate. Hypersensitivity, and lack of mental discipline. Our minds wander.

MAY 20
The Moon is in Leo all day, encouraging our affectionate, expressive natures. However, Venus forms some picky aspects today, suggesting we may experience some awkward or unsatisfying moments in our relationships. This can also point to problems with money or a struggle with conflicting desires. There can be off-timing in our interactions, as we may miss the mark. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires may be at odds with one another. Blocks to intimacy, learning from one another, and commitment can be experienced now. Insecurities on a social level can be magnified. It’s important to avoid hasty or haughty decisions today! Even so, the Sun’s ingress into the sign of Gemini is a fresh influence. The Sun will transit Gemini until June 21st. Knowledge and diversity motivate us with the Sun in Gemini. We are more sociable, intellectual, and insatiably curious under this influence. We tend to scatter our energies as a result of this curiosity and awareness of all of our options. We are more communicative and versatile, although we can also be unreliable during this month-long cycle.
The Moon is void from 11:30 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Virgo the next day, Monday, May 21st, at 10:03 PM EDT.
MAY 21
The Moon spends most of the day in the creative, generous sign of Leo, entering Virgo at 10:03 PM EDT. The Moon is void up until its ingress into Virgo, suggesting it’s better not to take on brand-new endeavors. Tonight, at 11:50 PM, the First Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Gemini forms a square with the Moon in Virgo. We become aware of differences, and as such, it can be a time of stress, clashing, and discord, but also of high energy, motivation, and growth. This is a time when we want to get something going, but we may not know the next step or the exact direction we want it (or us) to take.
The Moon continues its void period until it enters Virgo at 10:03 PM EDT.
MAY 22
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Virgo, turning our attention to the details of our daily lives, health, routines, and work. The Sun’s sextile to Chiron can bring an opportunity to find a sense of purpose or a “mission,” increasing our confidence, possibly through our families, business, or projects. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and people in our lives is strong. Problem-solving is favored. A longer-term influence comes into exact aspect today: Jupiter sesquiquadrate Chiron, and this can be a time when we are hungry for meaning and understanding. However, it can be difficult to align ourselves with a personal philosophy or belief system that truly reflects our core. We might be led astray by beliefs and ideas now, or we might experience some form of crisis of faith. It’s important to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that doesn’t genuinely serve our purpose. Also tonight and very early tomorrow, Mercury opposes Jupiter, semi-squares Chiron, and sextiles Neptune. This combination further increases our desire for ideas, inspiration, or more meaning. We can miss or gloss over technical details and mundane facts and figures at this time. We’re stretching our minds now and this is an excellent mental exercise, but we should avoid making commitments until we’re clear.
MAY 23
The Moon spends another day in the sign of Virgo, again turning our keen attention to our work, health, and routines. Today, though, we’re likely to be more focused in our pursuits, and far less divided. A Sun-Mars trine is energizing, and we’re ready to take action, particularly on our ideas. This influence supports physical activity, initiative, and enterprise. Energy and vitality are strong. There is a stronger than usual desire to put plans into motion, to take the lead, and to keep busy. Enthusiasm and confidence both run high.
The Moon is void from 10:55 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Libra the next day, Thursday, May 24th, at 2:52 AM EDT.
MAY 24
The Moon continues its transit of Virgo until 2:52 AM EDT when it enters Libra. Creating order is the focus with a Libra Moon, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We’re more able to put aside our emotions if it helps us achieve the peace we crave. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation, and fear of losing others’ approval is another. Jupiter and Neptune are reaching a trine aspect, exact tomorrow morning, for the second time in a set of three perfections while Jupiter is in Scorpio, the first of which occurred in December 2017, and the final of which will happen in August 2018. Idealistic and humanitarian goals or impulses surface now. Widening our minds through unusual or different experiences can be in focus now. Generosity and compassion increase and our faith lifts up. We more readily make personal sacrifices for what we believe to be the greater good. However, we can also be oblivious to practical considerations under this influence.
The Void of Course Moon continues until the Moon enters Libra at 2:52 AM EDT.
MAY 25
Mercury forms a trine to Pluto this morning and can point to an opportunity to gain a mental advantage. Our mental faculties are attuned to otherworldly impressions, offering us increased insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and focused attention. We are drawn to looking for truths and to unexplored topics and ideas. This directed influence promotes developing strategies and plans and using our persuasive skills. We are especially good at solving problems and getting to the bottom line. The Moon is in Libra all day, encouraging us to seek out balance and harmony. However, we’re moving towards a Venus-Saturn opposition, exact early tomorrow, which suggests some negative feedback or blockage can slow us down. Ideally, this is only enough to pace ourselves or to adjust our expectations. We can come to a sobering realization today that could involve the need to totally redo something, restructure, tend to a responsibility, or let go of deadwood in our lives. We may feel criticized or unsatisfied. Financial limitations may make themselves known, or burdens of our debts or obligations to others are magnified. We may need to pay the piper, or if we’ve been overdoing pleasures, a reminder of our responsibilities comes now. Burdens, responsibilities, lack, limitations, and problems can loom larger than usual under the Venus-Saturn influence, particularly with regards to love, pleasure, and finances.
The Moon is void from 5:04 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Scorpio the next day, Saturday, May 26th, at 9:39 AM EDT.
MAY 26
Venus perfects its opposition to Saturn early today, and Mercury forms minor tense aspects with both bodies. This can be a day of harsher criticism than usual and a tendency to see things skeptically or negatively. We’re seeking clarity now, but we may be focusing too much on the practical side of relationships and emotions and failing to see the bigger picture as a result. We can be quite sensitive to what we perceive as rejection, which may only be awkwardness. The Moon finishes its transit of Libra at 9:39 AM EDT when it enters Scorpio. The Scorpio Moon is intense, tenacious, tough, and perceptive.
The Void of Course Moon continues until the Moon enters Scorpio at 9:39 AM EDT.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Leo
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.
The Moon in Virgo generally favors the following activities: Mental pursuits, work activities, services, and routines. Activities that would benefit from tending to details.
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Taurus The cycle now dawning in your life emphasizes stability, substance, practicality, and the concept of value – value in the material as well as psycho-spiritual sense. This marks a time of building to last, of appreciating the substantial rather than ephemeral. Consolidating past gains rather than focusing on radical new departures is likely to be a major theme for you during this cycle. Appreciating the finer things of life is another hallmark of this phase, which marks a time when you should be concentrating on “smelling the roses” rather than passing them by in such a hurry.
Sun in Gemini The cycle which begins for you now will be marked by a more intense focus on mental and communicative activity than you may ever have experienced before. It’s a time of more involvement with other people, a time for gathering information, and a time when you’re apt to be more on the go than ever. There is likely to be an emphasis on reading, writing, studying, and all forms of exchanging information with others in the years ahead – and it will all serve as a path for self-discovery and personal development.
Mercury in Taurus “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” – that’s the key to the way you think at a time like this. Practical, utilitarian ideas are the ones that make the most sense now – putting them to good use is a focus for you. Material things are foremost on your mind in many respects: an emphasis on the real rather than the ideal.
Venus in Cancer Mothering (or being mothered), sympathy, a yearning to put down roots, and a fondness for things that have stood the test of time – these are some of the hallmarks of the phase that now begins in your life. Romantic and social experiences, as well as artistic tastes, will show evidence of these factors.
Mars in Aquarius The reformer, the inventor, the engineer, the revolutionary – these are important archetypes for you as a new cycle gets underway in your life. They are icons of the ambitions that stir you at a time like this. Independence, freedom from past patterns, and a daring readiness to innovate: such are the paths of achievement for you now.
Jupiter in Scorpio The phase now beginning for you emphasizes fixing what is broken or unhealthy, thereby giving it a new lease on life. This is more than one person alone can handle, so the cooperation of others is essential. You give up something in order to get or create something, and you may not understand the reasons why at the time. Sex, money, power, and vitality become key issues.
Saturn in Capricorn Responsibility, hard work, ambition, and achievement: these are the foundations you need to build on now, as a new cycle dawns in your life. And yet, there is a tendency to be a little too hard, perhaps a bit cold, in your approach to these things. Let ambition take you to the top, but don’t let it lull you into thinking that the end justifies the means.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
