The FIRST QUARTER MOON occurs on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at 2:05 AM EDT.
Early Wednesday, the First Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Virgo forms a square to the Moon in Sagittarius. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we become aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error.
A project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles.
The First Quarter Moon Chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 19 degrees and 0 minutes of Sagittarius, square the Sun at the same degree of Virgo, and affecting planets at approximately 17 to 21 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) the most.

This week: The Sun is in Virgo; Mercury is in Leo until the 9th, when Mercury enters Virgo; Venus is in Libra; Mars is in Cancer.
The Sun is in Virgo from August 22-September 22. Our focus shifts to the puzzle pieces–the little details of our lives. It is now time to take care of practical concerns. Attending to the details of everyday life may not sound like loads of fun, but it can certainly free us from unnecessary stress that results from “collecting” odds and ends of unfinished business.
This is an ideal time to get organized, do detailed work, and improve communications on the job. We take more pride in our work, chores, and health efforts. We also want to be more organized and informed during the Sun-in-Virgo cycle.
We’re learning humility and the benefits of developing skills, some level of perfectionism, and the importance of attention to detail. It’s a time of down-to-earth practicality when we prefer to invest our time and energy in things with realistic potential. We’re not inclined to ambition or “going big.” Attracting prosperity involves honest, careful, and attentive work and dedication.
Mercury is in Leo from August 14-September 9. [Mercury was in Leo from July 2-25, entered Virgo, and due to a Mercury retrograde period from August 5th to 28th, 2024, returns to Leo]. When Mercury is in Leo, our thinking is more confident and grand. The focus is now on the goal–and the grander a goal the better! The details may not be quite as important now. We are more expressive, even theatrical and given to speech-giving and story-telling under this influence.
We are also more convincing and persuasive, as we exude confidence when we speak or write. With this transit, we may not listen as well as we normally do since we’re very focused on our own ideas.
We’re also strong about making decisions ourselves and letting our voices and input be heard. This is not a time when we’re content with letting others make all the moves or decisions–we need to be involved. We take the lead, manage, direct, and create while Mercury is in Leo. We need to relate to information or create stories about it to absorb it well. During this cycle, we should watch for being too inflexible, proud, or haughty to change course.
Mercury is in Virgo from September 9-26. When Mercury is in Virgo, precision in speech, thought, and process are more important to us. This is a time when we analyze and decide what is useful and what we deem to be impractical.
Mercury feels right at home in Virgo, one of the signs that it rules (Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo). Dealing with details is natural and easy now. We need to be careful that we don’t lose perspective if we find ourselves lost in details, however.
While Mercury is in Virgo, we should also be aware of the possibility of expressing ourselves in a too factual manner, so much so that we come across as dry, critical, or unimaginative.
We gravitate to useful information, and we can enjoy helping others with our knowledge. It’s a time for analyzing and dissecting, but we need other influences to put the pieces together or to see the bigger picture as our confidence in so doing is not strong at this time. It’s a time of conservative thinking and a strong tendency to want facts and certainties.
Venus is in Libra from August 29-September 22. We favor charm over assertiveness to get what we want during this cycle. Usually quite willing to negotiate and compromise, we can be very obliging with others. We’re also very idealistic about love, and we seek intellectual peers. Although Venus in Libra is very relationship-focused, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We prefer things are done the “right” way, and aggressive or uncouth behavior turns us off.
The shadow expression of this position includes over-dependence and superficiality. To avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to partners while privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so.
While Venus is in Libra, we are more artistically inclined or seek balance in our personal environment. This cycle is excellent for promoting cooperation, harmony, mutually beneficial connections, and fairness. We are gentle but firm, and we’re skilled at mediation.
We’re more likely to prosper during this cycle in partnership, through one-to-one associations, such as counseling, or in fields related to harmony, relationships, beauty, design, and the law. We’re not fond of out-and-out competition or aggressive pursuit, preferring win-win situations, hands down. We attract things to us and appeal to others gently and kindly. Equality and politeness are important now, and we despise hurting others’ feelings.
Mars is in Cancer from September 4-November 3, 2024, and then January 6-April 18, 2025. [Why so long and in two steps? Mars transits the full sign of Cancer from September 4th to November 3rd, when it moves on to Leo, but then turns retrograde in Leo on December 6th, 2024. While retrograde, Mars later returns to Cancer (on January 6th, 2025). Mars ends its retrograde on February 23rd, and later completes its transit of Cancer on April 18th, 2025.] We pursue our interests ardently, but we avoid a direct approach to going after we want while Mars transits Cancer. As well, our goals and plans are subject to mood swings and vacillations. We are defensive rather than overtly aggressive. Much of what we do depends on our current mood of the moment.
We’re also very intuitive and can be moved to take action to bring peace or comfort and safety to our lives during this period. We go to bat for our loved ones. In fact, we’re fiercely protective. It’s a powerful period for putting ego matters aside so that we can push our plans forward. Inner satisfaction and love are generally more important to us than outer achievements at this time. Personal and domestic goals are our priority during this phase.
.
Jupiter is in Gemini.
Jupiter began its transit of Gemini on May 24th, 2024, and continues its transit of the sign until June 9th, 2025. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Gemini.
Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Read about Saturn’s transit of Pisces. Saturn will enter Aries on May 24th, 2025.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Pluto transitions from Capricorn to Aquarius in 2023 and 2024. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Pluto retrograded back into Capricorn, and was in Capricorn until January 20th, 2024. Pluto is in Aquarius from January 20th to September 1st, when it retreats into Capricorn once again. Note: Pluto is slow-moving through the zodiac signs!
Note that Pluto returns to Capricorn for the final journey through the sign from September 1st to November 19th, 2024, from which time Pluto stays in Aquarius for many years to come.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Libra from August 29-September 22. We favor charm over assertiveness to get what we want during this cycle. Usually quite willing to negotiate and compromise, we can be very obliging with others. We’re also very idealistic about love, and we seek intellectual peers. Although Venus in Libra is very relationship-focused, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We prefer things are done the “right” way, and aggressive or uncouth behavior turns us off.

We’re not fond of out-and-out competition or aggressive pursuit, preferring win-win situations, hands down. We attract things to us and appeal to others gently and kindly. Equality and politeness are important now, and we despise hurting others’ feelings.
This week: On Monday, we’re somewhat detached from our affections and attachments. Of course, this can help us gain some perspective or free us up to try new things, but we can also end up making decisions that don’t fully represent us. Choose this time to open your mind to different possibilities, but not to make impactful decisions.
We can also disconnect from our hearts on Wednesday, the 11th, but in a different fashion. This can be a time of more frequent separations, at least on an emotional or affectional level. This disengagement is possibly only temporary and can be due to guilt, deprivation, loneliness, or insecurity, for instance. Because our confidence and, consequently, our timing can be off now, it’s best to choose this time to reflect rather than innovate, seal a deal, or otherwise move ahead. Even though it’s technically a minor aspect/influence, I would avoid beginning important projects and relationships (example, first meetings, first dates) under this influence.
Saturday, the 14th (and extending to the 15th), features warm, generous energy, but we’re not just looking for pleasure, we’re ready to lock things down, commit, or take one another seriously. We seek good company and offer support. It’s a time when we appreciate one another, friendly experiences, mind-expanding activities, beautiful and enriching environments, and different perspectives. It can be a happy, sociable, and optimistic time, but also rather balanced with realism and responsibility. We can be in control of our social graces.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Libra As this new cycle takes hold in your life, romance and social interaction take on a greater importance for you. Harmonious ties to others are what you yearn for; refinement and elegance are what you seek. The ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty – these are some of the things that quicken your pulse now.
Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus September 8. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness. A desire to experiment in the romance department may be fleeting and ultimately unsatisfying or frustrating.
Venus quincunx Saturn September 11. A feeling that we may not be able to express our affections, or that our affections will not be received well, can undermine us in our relationships. Fear of rejection, emotional distancing, and over-sensitivity.
Venus trine Jupiter September 14-15. Harmony and good will reign under this influence. Expansive feelings in love, and a feeling that anything is possible if we set our sights high enough, are experienced now. We are friendly, big-hearted, sociable, and optimistic. It is easy to make social contacts under this influence. Cheerfulness, trust, and confidence in love and social matters.
Venus parallel Saturn September 15. We may express our affection sparingly, but also responsibly and in practical ways. Relationships begun under this influence often feel burdensome over time, but they may last longer than most.
Venus opposite Chiron September 16. Love cannot be forced. This is not a commitment-friendly transit, as we may feel alienated for no apparent reason and unwilling to give of ourselves. Our relationships may open up some inner wound.
Venus contra-parallel Mercury September 16. We are voicing our feelings now, but we should be careful not to over-intellectualize our affections. We tend to analyze our feelings and relationships. Interactions between people bring up questions.
Venus contra-parallel Chiron September 19. Others, and especially partners and love interests, have something to teach us. This is a time for identifying vulnerable areas, perhaps through controversy or painful experiences and truths.
Venus inconjunct (quincunx) Uranus September 20. Impulsive spending, peculiar attractions, fear of commitment, freedom vs. intimacy issues. We might question whether we need more excitement in our relationships, or whether we need freedom from them; yet we don’t feel confident enough to rock the boat.
Venus quincunx Neptune September 21. Idealism and disappointments in love. Avoid becoming blinded by what you want to see, rather than what really is. Doubts about love.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Monday, September 9th, from 1:12 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:26 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Wednesday, September 11th, from 8:21 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 10:38 PM EDT.
VOC Moon on Saturday, September 14th, from 3:35 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 3:53 AM EDT.
September 2024:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, although with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week on Monday, September 9th, from approximately 9:00 AM to 1:10 PM EDT, while the Moon is in Scorpio.
Another window occurs from Friday, September 13th, at approximately 8:30 AM EDT, until Saturday, September 14th, at approximately 3:30 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Capricorn.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Sun opposition Saturn. Our confidence is undermined by feelings of doubt, pessimism, or feelings of guilt. Feeling blocked, encountering obstacles to progress, and inhibitions are prominent under this influence. A heavy dose of realism seems forced upon us under this influence, but our efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately increase our confidence in our ability to be responsible for ourselves. This influence is a somber one.
Mercury quincunx Neptune. There can be uncertainty and indecision now, as it can be difficult to draw upon intuition or to combine logic and intuition in a cohesive manner. Alternatively, the tendency to daydream can be high, and often at the expense of productivity and clear communication.
Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus. Unusual attractions (to people and things) can have us acting on a whim. We may deal with freedom versus closeness issues in our relationships. Relationships or finances can be unpredictable. Changes now can create fresh opportunities, however, that can add to our sense of joy and freedom.
Mercury quincunx Pluto. Something we write or say could trigger power struggles or hostility from others. We may be plagued with self-doubt in our attempts to make decisions. Decisions made now are unlikely to be objective. Re-assessing decisions we have made already, or adjusting our plans, may be in order. Second-guessing.
Venus quincunx Saturn. We are extra sensitive, but it can be difficult to know why. Anxiety may overcome us when we wish to express our affections or social urges, and this hesitation can express itself through inhibitions and emotional distancing.
Mercury sextile Mars. Mental alertness, enthusiasm, and energetic communications figure now. Quick decisions can be made. We are productive and take “busy-ness” in stride. We are alert and aware, and can easily turn ideas into workable projects.
Sun square Jupiter. We may feel vague restlessness and discontent with life as it is. We want more, but perhaps too much. Overestimation and exaggeration. Elevated moods, but unstable ones, as they may not be based on reality. Channeled well, this energy can represent creative power.
Mercury sesquiquadrate Chiron. Communications may be careless, hurtful or perceived as hurtful under this influence. It can be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate now. There may be impatience with rules, worry or guilty feelings, and conflicting viewpoints now.
Sun quincunx Chiron. Doubting ourselves and our effectiveness, as well as guilt for not facing important issues, can subtly undermine our confidence under this influence. Self-expression can be choppy and unnatural as a result.

SEPTEMBER 8
Venus forms a sesquisquare with Uranus today, and we can feel discontent with our current pleasures or pastimes. It’s best to tame restlessness or avoid abrupt moves but consider our needs for change and growth. Mercury will enter Virgo tomorrow, but before it leaves the sign, it forms a quincunx with Neptune and then Pluto, which can challenge our decision-making confidence. We might waver with uncertainty, or we’re inclined to daydream at the expense of productivity and clear communication. Instead, we can be too insistent on getting information, but our hearts may need more time. With these transits, we can have difficulties digesting or accepting a matter, getting our message across, or coming to a decision/conclusion that feels right. We might also trigger negative responses from others. Fortunately, we also have a Sun-Chiron biquintile in play today, and we’re willing to grow, learn, and listen. We’re absorbing and sharing what we’ve learned from past experiences and mistakes.
SEPTEMBER 9
The Moon continues its transit of perceptive, passionate Scorpio until 1:26 PM EDT, when it moves into Sagittarius and encourages our optimism and sense of adventure. We may take a more philosophical and less strategic approach to life now. However, Mercury enters Virgo today, where it will transit until the 26th. Mercury first transited Virgo from July 25th to August 14th, when it returned to the sign of Leo while retrograde. In the weeks ahead, we gravitate to useful information, and we can enjoy helping others with our knowledge. It’s a time for analyzing and dissecting, but we need other influences to put the pieces together or to see the bigger picture, as our confidence in so doing is not strong at this time. It’s a time of conservative thinking and a strong tendency to want facts and certainties. Dealing with details is natural and easy now. However, we need to be careful not to lose perspective if we find ourselves lost in details.
The Moon is void from 1:12 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:26 PM EDT.
SEPTEMBER 10
With a Mercury-Jupiter quintile aspect today, our ideas are particularly clever, and focusing on intellectual interests and problem-solving can be especially successful now. It’s subtle energy but good for rounding out our thinking. Plus, the Moon is in Jupiter’s sign, Sagittarius, all day, boosting our spirits. We’re looking for something a little more from our experiences. The Moon’s sextile to Venus in Libra improves our interpersonal skills this evening, but a Moon-Saturn square is somewhat stern. It can indicate disappointment or temporary questioning about whether we have the time or energy to explore our options.
SEPTEMBER 11
The First Quarter Moon occurs early today at 2:05 AM EDT, and our initiative is strong but tends to come from conflict or tension. It can be a time of stress, clashing, and discord, but also great energy, motivation, and growth. We may be feeling ambitious and competitive. However, it’s not yet straightforward where to go with these feelings. A Venus-Saturn quincunx this morning can lead to difficulties in seeing our responsibilities to others clearly, either under- or over-estimating them. It’s not an ideal time to make decisions about value, money, or relationship matters. The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius until 10:38 PM, when it enters Capricorn, encouraging us to pay attention to structures, rules, and goals. Tonight, Mercury forms a sextile with Mars, promoting mental alertness and quick decisions. This transit instills a sense of preparedness and confidence, as we are ready to see and act on opportunities. Communication may be frank or hurried but also refreshingly to the point. We find it rather easy to “walk the talk” and to put ideas into motion. A decision we found difficult last month can now feel straightforward.
The Moon is void from 8:21 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 10:38 PM EDT.
SEPTEMBER 12
The Sun forms a square to Jupiter this morning, and we can find ourselves eager to expand. While our ideas are big, we’re reminded of the limits of our capabilities and must adjust accordingly. There is an inclination to extravagance and overreaching. While the Sun’s square to Jupiter can stir much optimism and elevated moods, our state of mind is fragile as things are overblown or unrealistic. We can feel discontent, leading us to seek more meaning, growth, or change. While it’s a time to focus on personal growth and to be inspired and motivated to reach our full potential, we should watch for trying to reach too far on this quest, overestimating our energy levels or the time we might invest in a commitment. It’s best to remind ourselves that going bigger isn’t always in our best interests.
The day advances with more potential for successful strategies instead of reactions. Creative aspects incline us to want to pay special attention to a particular project or idea and develop it more fully. We can be pleasantly dedicated or attentive. We might gain an advantage or edge by focusing on something special to us and being willing to grow, learn, and think outside the box.
SEPTEMBER 13
Today’s Capricorn Moon is practical and earthy. It harmonizes with Saturn, the Sun, and Uranus, fostering a cautious yet open approach to progress and change. We pay special attention to structures, rules, and goals, which encourages clarity, and we’re also cooperative. We take pleasure in making small changes that benefit our projects, and our broader sense of responsibility leads us to naturally take an inventory of our priorities. However, Mercury’s minor square to Chiron may introduce some insecurity, making it awkward for us to express ourselves naturally. Communications don’t readily flow. This could lead to minor misunderstandings if we’re not grasping or reading the meaning behind the words. We may also find ourselves at odds with others on issues of independence and personal freedom.
SEPTEMBER 14
With the Sun’s quincunx to Chiron today, we’re not allowing ourselves to shine fully. Doubting our effectiveness can subtly undermine our confidence. We may doubt our inner guide and face situations that seem to test our vulnerabilities. Some indecision is possible, and self-expression can be choppy and unnatural in spots. We can also experience guilt about not dealing with problems head-on. However, our attempts to manage doubt and guilt today can help clear the path for opportunities later.
Very early tomorrow, Venus harmonizes with Jupiter, and this aspect influences today, especially later today. This beneficial transit boosts our desire to give one another the benefit of the doubt and increases our interest in others, culture, different pastimes and pleasures, and unusual or supplemental activities. We want to trust and put our faith in people or situations. We also want to learn, grow, expand, and enjoy ourselves.
The Moon is void from 3:35 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 3:53 AM EDT.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
When the Moon is in Aquarius
Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal, under this influence. This is a time that promotes social gatherings, dealing with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and progressive changes. We are open to new methods of doing things and we have our eye on the future. It can be hard to stick to schedules now, as personal freedom is most important to us.
The Moon in Aquarius generally favors the following activities: Unusual or radical undertakings, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, joining a group.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Virgo You’re coming into a new cycle centered on taking what you know and what you’ve got and then making the most of it in the real world. Assimilating information and experience, learning lessons and putting them into practice – that’s the focus as this cycle unfolds. It’s a time for prudence and stewardship, a time to tend to the details. You probably already have the grand ideals and visions: now you must get your hands dirty with the bricks and mortar and your mind busy with putting it all together.
Mercury in Leo The hallmark of the cycle you have just begun is thinking, learning and communicating with style. Intellectual creativity is highlighted, and your social connections have a certain flair of drama to them. Winning the admiration of others for the things you say or write (and the way you do it) takes on more importance in your life.
Mercury in Virgo Mental discipline and patience are keynoted as you enter into a new cycle. Thinking things through, accounting for all the details, making careful measurements: these and similar experiences keep your mind active and involved. An interest in health and work may come to the fore.
Mars in Cancer Defensive, aren’t we? With this new cycle getting underway, protecting and preserving you and yours takes on a higher than usual priority. A sensitivity to the needs and wants of others and an appreciation for their frailties (as well as your own) makes you more cautious and conservative … you pick your battles with care.
Jupiter in Gemini Facilitating the transfer of ideas and information takes on a special priority for you now. Writing, studying, and communicating play a bigger role in your life as a result. The belief that well-informed people will make the right decisions becomes an article of faith. Just remember: sometimes people know the right thing to do and STILL do something different!
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small, but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
