The FULL MOON occurs on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 4:28 PM EST.
On Friday afternoon, a Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Scorpio forms an opposition to the Moon in Taurus. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional event – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
Full Moons always pit opposite signs of the zodiac against each other. They also invite us to work to achieve a balance between the opposing energies.
With this lunation, the contrast between earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus and emotional, transformative, crisis-oriented Scorpio comes full bloom. The Moon in Taurus wants us to find emotional fulfillment through the simple, tangible things in life, while the Scorpio Sun draws our attention to complexities, intangibles, and mysteries.
The Full Moon illuminates this conflict between form (Taurus) and transformation (Scorpio), and between collecting (Taurus) and sharing (Scorpio).
This is a passionate and creative Full Moon, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences. Intimate relationship matters, such as personal comfort levels and values and sexuality, figure prominently now.
The Moon aligns very tightly with Uranus at the time of this lunation, adding an element of surprise to our feelings and revelations. The desire to experience something new, exciting, and bold can figure strongly.
There can be a strong urge–or need–to break free from old patterns in our relationships.
This Full Moon harmonizes with Neptune and Pluto, suggesting a strong sense of mission is with us as we discover, explore, and embrace our feelings.
The Full Moon Chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 24 degrees and 1 minute of Taurus opposite the Sun at the same degree of Scorpio, affecting planets at approximately 20 to 28 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) the most.
This second chart wheel features some additional points, such as Chiron, the four major asteroids, and Eris.

This week: The Sun is in Scorpio; Mercury is in Sagittarius; Venus is in Sagittarius until the 11th, when it enters Capricorn; Mars is in Leo.
The Sun is in Scorpio from October 22-November 21. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire.” Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Superficiality simply will not do with the Sun in Scorpio–we want to get to the bottom of matters. Mediocrity does not satisfy either. All that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed interests us. In Libra, we strived towards equality and fairness. Scorpio, however, instinctively believes that life simply isn’t fair.
Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense. It can be an immensely healing and transformative energy. Jealousy, vindictiveness, beating a dead horse, and manipulative are some of the more negative expressions of Scorpio.
We are more likely to prosper through strategy and knowing the value of keeping some things to ourselves at the right times. Efforts to repurpose, recycle, salvage, and transform can be successful. We’re especially successful at organizing, researching, investigating, and analyzing.
While we can be quite controlled with effort, there is some inclination to extremism. We can be drawn to challenges and crises, and we feel compelled to heal, fix, and direct or manage.
Mercury is in Sagittarius from November 2, 2024-January 8, 2025 [Lengthier than usual due to a Mercury retrograde cycle that occurs entirely in the sign of Sagittarius from November 25th to December 15th]. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. We seek ideals, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us most now. However, we are not always very precise under this influence.
We’re more inclined to ask questions and seek answers during this forward-looking cycle. We might often wax philosophical, and we enjoy wrapping our minds around new concepts and ideas. Still, the details are not as interesting to us now, as we prefer to envision the big picture.
On the downside, we can be inconsistent and lack attention to details. While frank and open, we can also be tactless during this period. We’re generous with our communications and input, and we’re humorous and friendly at this time.
Venus is in Sagittarius from October 17-November 11. Romantic energy shifts from intense to buoyant. Sagittarius, of course, has its intense moments, considering it is a fire sign. However, its energy is considerably less focused; and, while Scorpio is most concerned with intimacy with a specific person, Sagittarius’ love is of a more universal kind.
Romantic adventures and a straightforward–even blunt–approach to love are on the agenda. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of Venus in Scorpio. Truth and higher meaning are the priorities with Venus in Sagittarius.
We’re idealistic in our relationships during this cycle. It’s more critical than usual that our partners and companions support our dreams, goals, freedom needs, beliefs, and vision. We value intellectual rapport more than usual during this period.
Openness with our feelings can sometimes backfire, but for the most part, it can be refreshing. We tend to more spontaneously enjoy ourselves or throw ourselves into pleasure, art, cultural interests, and special interest topics at this time. We can especially enjoy travel, learning, the outdoors, or animals.
With money, we can be a little reckless or careless, but also faithful and optimistic. Some element of luck or good karma can be involved with our finances. Benefits, whether material or spiritual, can come through publishing, foreign or religious connections, travel, education, or legal matters.
Venus is in Capricorn from November 11- December 7. Getting serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence. Our talents for creating artistic structure and form are enhanced, and our ability to form connections with people who support our ambitions increases.
We value enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness. We take expressing our feelings seriously, and we take our time to warm up to others. We generally keep our “cool” in relationships. We’re steadfast and seek genuine, perhaps old-fashioned connections. It’s not a time for PDA, and we can be somewhat guarded and reserved with expressing our feelings or revealing our relationships.
The underdog who works hard can have their time in the sun now. We value slow and steady effort and long-term prospects. Reliability in others is most attractive.
This cycle favors getting along well with higher-ups, conservative business goals and ventures, long-term investments, and matters related to pension.
Mars is in Leo from November 3, 2024, to January 6, 2025, and then April 18-June 17, 2025. [Why so long and in two steps? Mars transits Leo, but then turns retrograde on December 6th, 2024. While retrograde, Mars returns to Cancer (on January 6th, 2025). Mars turns direct on February 23rd and then enters Leo again on April 18th.] In Leo, Mars is proud, self-confident, and grand. We are spirited and have grand goals. We go after what we want in a direct, self-assured manner, desiring dramatic results. We prefer not to worry about details, and take the least complicated route to our goals. The sex drive is strong, and passion for life is high.
Mars in Leo can awaken a competitive spirit or drive. We’re more willing to take risks to get what we want. We also tend to make a splash, and we want to be in the driver’s seat. This transit is passionate, ardent, and dramatic. We seek to appear strong and prefer to be in the lead or the center of attention. We can be particularly angry if we feel disrespected or in an undignified position.
Jupiter is in Gemini.
Jupiter began its transit of Gemini on May 24th, 2024, and continues its transit of the sign until June 9th, 2025. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Gemini.
Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Read about Saturn’s transit of Pisces. Saturn will enter Aries on May 24th, 2025.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Pluto transitions from Capricorn to Aquarius in 2023 and 2024. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Pluto retrograded back into Capricorn, and was in Capricorn until January 20th, 2024. Pluto was in Aquarius from January 20th to September 1st, when it retreated into Capricorn once again. Note: Pluto is slow-moving through the zodiac signs!
Note that Pluto is now in Capricorn for the final journey through the sign from September 1st to November 19th, 2024, from which time Pluto stays in Aquarius for many years to come.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Sagittarius from October 17-November 11. As Venus moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius, romantic energy changes from intense to buoyant. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of the Venus-in-Scorpio phase. Truth and higher meaning are focal points for Sagittarius.
Venus in Sagittarius is forward-looking, not very specific, outgoing, and energetic. Freedom is most important in our love relationships now. We take a happy and enthusiastic approach to love, and we might find too much intensity or seriousness depressing. We have a taste for the exotic as well as for adventure with Venus in Sagittarius.
This position’s shadow side is restlessness, the inability to “settle down,” and endless searching for something bigger and “better.”
Venus is in Capricorn from November 11-December 7. Venus in Capricorn is a cycle in which security and stability in our relationships are paramount. We are more cautious with our emotions and somewhat skeptical of both our own feelings and others’ expressions of affection. Longevity is important to us under this influence.
There is a formality to Capricorn that can make personal expressions seem awkward and forced. However, this cycle offers us the opportunity to consider some of the practical issues of our relations and to work on making our partnerships work in the real world. A dose of realism in our personal lives can help us to feel more grounded and secure in the long run.
This week: On Wednesday and Thursday, there can be some awkwardness as our needs and desires don’t seem to mesh. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. While it’s usually a small hiccup in an established relationship, this is a less-than-ideal transit under which to begin a new relationship.
On Friday and Saturday, social niceties go by the wayside, and we may be working at cross-purposes with our relationships or relationship goals. There can be a lack of agreement, dissatisfaction stirred up, and a sense that our relationships are preventing our growth.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Sagittarius A yearning for adventure and far horizons stirs in you now. To roam, to wander and wonder, to seek freedom and go where no one has gone before – these things are deep and powerful longings. A time of romantic crusades, a universal love that might not be too particular.
Venus in Capricorn Marry for money and then learn to love ’em: that’s what your heart tells you now, as a new cycle gets underway in your life. Does that sound cynical? Maybe so – but it does reflect the yearning you feel for security and stability now, and it suggests the kind of compromises you may be willing to make to accomplish these objectives.
Venus square Neptune November 8-9. Relationship ups and downs characterize this transit–a time when romantic mirages are more than likely. We see what we hope to see, rather than what really is. The “highs” of a relationship begun under this energy may be thrilling, but the accompanying “lows” are bound to set in, and they can be extremely draining. Be careful not to set yourself up for disappointment.
Venus quincunx Mars November 13-14. When we attempt to be friendly, we seem to miss the mark. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. This is a less-than-ideal transit under which to begin a new relationship.
Venus square North Node November 15-16. Social niceties go by the wayside, and we may be working at cross-purposes with our relationships or relationship goals. There can be a lack of agreement, dissatisfaction stirred up, and a sense that our relationships are preventing our growth.
Venus parallel Mercury November 17-18. A friendly time when we appreciate diplomacy and we communicate, connect, and socialize more readily.
Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus November 19-20. Uncertainty about the desire to be close to someone. Freedom versus closeness. A desire to experiment in the romance department may be fleeting and ultimately unsatisfying or frustrating.
Venus sextile Saturn November 21-22. Relationships are stabilized and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly. A new sense of realism in existing partnerships. Relationships begun under this influence possess a distinctly practical theme, almost as if the partnership is a business endeavor.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Tuesday, November 12th, from 1:14 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aries at 1:27 AM EST.
VOC Moon on Thursday, November 14th, from 1:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Taurus at 2:00 AM EST (a brief void period).
VOC Moon on Saturday, November 16th, from 2:03 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Gemini at 2:09 AM EST (a very brief void period).
November 2024:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week until the Full Moon on the 15th, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, although with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details). The Moon is waning after the Full Moon on the 15th, which is generally considered unfavorable for new beginnings, also with some exceptions.
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from Monday, November 11th, at approximately 9:10 AM EST, until Tuesday, November 12th, at approximately 1:10 AM EST, while the Moon is in Pisces (although this window is better after Venus changes signs).
Another window occurs from Friday, November 15th, at approximately 7:30 PM EST, until Saturday, November 16th, at approximately 2:00 AM EST, while the Moon is in Taurus.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Sun inconjunct (quincunx) Jupiter. The desire to experience something new or for more freedom to explore can amount to restlessness if we don’t know what it is we want. This is a time of adjustments, and perhaps of letting go of old habits, so that we can free ourselves up for different experiences.
Sun quincunx Chiron. Doubting ourselves and our effectiveness, as well as guilt for not facing important issues, can subtly undermine our confidence under this influence. Self-expression can be choppy and unnatural as a result.
Mercury square Saturn. Getting from point A to point B can be a challenge during this transit due to obstacles. Communications may be blocked or delayed, and negative thinking could dominate at this time. Projects we thought were complete may need revision, and others could appear overly critical, insensitive, or sarcastic. It’s difficult to trust our instincts, and we second-guess things automatically under this influence. Avoid signing on the dotted line at this time.
Venus quincunx Mars. When we try to be friendly, we seem to miss the mark. Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs simultaneously can be challenging. Our romantic sensibilities and our desires are at odds with one another, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result.
Mercury semi-square Pluto. “Suspicious minds” characterize this transit, although if we harness the energy, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of any matter. Mistrust, investigations. Some level of mental stress, trouble, or pressure.
Sun opposition Uranus. We want freedom, and we refuse to conform. Our wants are somewhat unstable and changeable. Sudden changes of plans are likely, and could stimulate us to try new approaches and they certainly act to cut boredom. This transit could offer us the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being.

NOVEMBER 10
The Moon spends the day in Pisces, creating a gentle and kind atmosphere. Our focus is on our inner worlds, empathy, spirituality, and downtime. The Pisces Moon, at its best, is a source of wisdom but can also be evasive when faced with challenges. This is free-form and meandering energy, but the Moon’s alignment with Saturn brings a serious or responsible tone to afternoon and evening. This influence is particularly useful for situations that require us to keep a cool head, as it prevents us from being too easily swept away by our emotions. We’re more inclined to buckle down and work, organize, and plan. This practical approach extends to our mental health and need for unwinding and decompressing.
NOVEMBER 11
The Sun forms a quincunx with Jupiter and then Chiron today, forming a yod, and we can feel restless, seeking answers, but we can be quite indecisive. There can be a wavering of confidence, and it’s all too easy to be in stalemate situations. We may doubt our inner guide and face situations that test our vulnerabilities. Self-expression can be choppy and unnatural in spots. We can also experience guilt about not dealing with problems head-on. Minor health issues could be the result of neglect or excess. We might feel torn between ideas or drives, perhaps see-sawing between alternatives. It can be challenging to arrive at satisfying conclusions. It’s a time of adjustments and possibly letting go of old habits to free ourselves up for different experiences. Ideally, our attempts to manage doubt and guilt can help clear the path for opportunities.
Venus enters Capricorn today, where it will transit until December 7th. Getting serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence. Our talents for creating artistic structure and form are enhanced, and our ability to form connections with people who support our ambitions increases. Enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness are most appealing during this cycle. We take expressing our feelings seriously and take our time to warm up to others. We’re steadfast and seek genuine, perhaps old-fashioned connections. Reliability in others is most attractive. We value slow and steady effort and long-term prospects during this cycle.
NOVEMBER 12
This morning, Mercury forms a square with Saturn, and we’re serious and focusing on what’s accurate and precise. However, there can be misunderstandings, information lags, criticism, or a lack of direction/instruction to manage. We could be preoccupied with weighty issues. There can be difficulties getting our message across or physically getting somewhere. Temporarily, it’s challenging to trust our instincts. It may be best to seek the motivation to make changes rather than focus too heavily on flaws and limitations. Editing and improving make sense now, as we may encounter resistance if we push ahead. We might deal with disapproval or criticism, and we should draw on patience. Ideally, we recognize some of our limits and adjust our speed accordingly–it’s a better time for maintenance than for moving forward.
Still, Venus forms creative aspects to Saturn and Uranus, and we’re inclined to maneuver and plan tastefully. As we look for ways to improve our relationships, we have our feet on the ground. We may be showcasing and standing out for our reliability and loyalty.
The Moon is void from 1:14 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Pluto), until the Moon enters Aries at 1:27 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 13
The Moon spends the day in Aries, a pioneering, action-oriented sign. With its alignment with Chiron and harmony with Jupiter this morning, we find it natural to gravitate toward satisfying, healing activities. We’re asserting our needs more easily than usual today. While we’re generally independent with the Moon in Aries, Venus and Mars are heading toward a quincunx, exact very early tomorrow but influencing later today, and our timing may be slightly off. There can be a dilemma or difficulty in feeling entirely at ease with others and making satisfying choices for entertainment or pleasure. Our romantic sensibilities and desires may be at odds, and problems (especially misunderstandings) in romantic and sexual relationships may result. Conflicts are likely between desires for independence and the need for nurturing or to nurture.
NOVEMBER 14
Venus forms a quincunx with Mars and Mercury forms a semi-square with Pluto this morning, and we can be mildly skeptical and off in our timing. These transits excite some tension or mental distress and worry. We tend to obsess over an issue that we can’t control. We’re somewhat mistrustful, although if we harness the energy and use it for good, we can develop strategies to get to the bottom of a matter. The Moon leaves Aries and enters Taurus at 2:00 AM EST today, and we become more aware of our need to enjoy the sensual pleasures of life–eating, drinking, enjoying music, and so forth. Our emotions are steady, and common sense rules when handling domestic matters, money, and work. We tend to resist change and fall back on old habits and patterns, and we can be stubborn. The Taurus Moon encourages us to slow down, cultivate patience, and simplify our lives.
The Moon is void from 1:51 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Pluto), until the Moon enters Taurus at 2:00 AM EST.
NOVEMBER 15
Today’s Full Moon is in the sign of Taurus. Full Moons always pit opposite zodiac signs against each other and invite us to balance the opposing energies. The contrast between earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus and emotional, transformative, crisis-oriented Scorpio comes in full bloom now. It’s a passionate and creative Full Moon, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences. Intimate relationship matters, personal comfort levels, sexuality, and values figure prominently now. Our feelings about a lingering problem or issue can become very clear now. While there can be a tug-of-war between closeness and independence, we might discover ways to interact while honoring both needs. We may need to deal with distractions and feelings of discontent that can lead us along unexpected tangents.
The Full Moon in Taurus awakens us to our feelings or a new approach to enjoying ourselves. Surprises about money, valuables, belongings, and investments are likely now. As it ties into the Sun-Uranus opposition, there can be surprise or abrupt elements to our epiphanies. Certainly, the desire to experience something new, exciting, and bold can figure strongly. There can also be a strong urge (or need) to break free from old patterns in our relationships. We reach a point of full exposure, especially about autonomy, innovation, and independence. This Full Moon harmonizes with Neptune and Pluto, suggesting a strong sense of mission is with us as we discover, explore, and embrace our feelings.
Also today, Saturn stations and turns direct after retrograde motion since June 29th, and this change in direction reminds us to take care of our obligations and bring our goals down to earth. With Saturn’s direct turn, our responsibilities, and perhaps our limitations, tend to magnify. Gradually, our long-term goals and plans will be clarified. We become more aware of rules, limits, and boundaries in our lives.
NOVEMBER 16
The Moon heads into Gemini early today, intensifying our desire to connect and engage our minds. However, Venus forms a square to the North Node of the Moon this morning, indicating a possibility of a general lack of agreement, dissatisfaction, or a sense that our relationships are working counter to our growth. As such, it can be challenging to make a decision that we can be content with early today. Tonight, the Sun opposes Uranus, highlighting our differences. This energy is rebellious, charged, and touchy, especially if we feel constrained, yet also erratic. It’s a yearly influence that can pull up the need to review our appetite for more freedom. Issues of autonomy, innovation, and independence are at the forefront. Sudden changes in plans are likely, which could stimulate us to try new approaches. The drive to do something new is with us, but we may not have a direction or purpose yet, and it’s best to avoid making hasty decisions. We may act out of character under the influence of this transit.
The Moon is void from 2:03 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Gemini at 2:09 AM EST (a very brief void period).

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Pisces
We may not want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It's a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.
The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
When the Moon is in Taurus
We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses." Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.
While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.
When the Moon is in Gemini

The Moon in Gemini generally favors the following activities: Mental and communicative actions, and more than one activity at once. Reading, learning, letters and emails, errands, writing, teaching, making connections, cafes, light and airy meetings, short trips.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Scorpio Who owes what, who owns what, and who decides these things: these are some of the major issues for you at the dawn of the cycle that now begins in your life. The only thing we really own is our consciousness; the only master who is never overthrown is oneself. These are lessons best learned early in this cycle. Master them, and you master everything. Dodge these issues, and the great strength that could be yours will remain just out of reach. Understanding inner motivations, seeing through to the core: that’s your real path of power and enlightenment now.
Mercury in Sagittarius A time of expanding your mental horizons is at hand. Religion, philosophy, law, and education are some of the things that may have special importance for you now. Being in touch with faraway people and places satisfies an intellectual yearning – curiosity will take you anywhere and maybe everywhere.
Mars in Leo The thrill of the chase, the smell of the greasepaint, the roar of the crowd: that’s what gets your juices flowing now that you’ve entered a new cycle. To be appreciated, to be admired (adored, even) – that’s what you crave. It’s a time of creativity, drama, and passion; a time when grabbing the spotlight and stealing the scene gives you a thrill. Is winning everything? No – but it’s way ahead of whatever comes in second!
Jupiter in Gemini Facilitating the transfer of ideas and information takes on a special priority for you now. Writing, studying, and communicating play a bigger role in your life as a result. The belief that well-informed people will make the right decisions becomes an article of faith. Just remember: sometimes people know the right thing to do and STILL do something different!
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Capricorn As this new phase dawns for you, the pursuit of social/political power and status has a way of seeming necessary and inevitable – and let nothing stand in its way. It starts out small, but has bigger consequences than you’d think. Ambition, responsibility, a place for everyone and everyone in their place…
