Daily Trends
None of the four phases occur this calendar week, but late last week: The FIRST QUARTER MOON occurred on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at 6:49 PM EDT.
On Saturday evening last week, the 13th, a First Quarter Moon occurred when the Sun in Cancer formed a square with the Moon in Libra.
There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, and we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we become aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles.
With a First Quarter Moon, we may want to get something going, but we may not know the next step or the exact direction we want it/us to take. Most suitable activities now include taking action, pushing forward, making offers, researching more options, meeting new people, and gathering new/additional supplies you may need to further a project. It’s best to watch for overconfidence or overshooting the mark. We might use the stress generated now to make meaningful changes.
The chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 22 degrees and 1 minute of Libra, square the Sun at the same degree of Cancer, affecting people with personal planets and points at approximately 10 to 18 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly.
**Next Week: The FULL MOON will occur on Sunday, July 21st, 2024, at 6:17 AM EDT.
This will be the second Full Moon in Capricorn this year–a Full Moon occurred in early Capricorn on June 21st, and this one will occur in the last degree of Capricorn.

(Times are Eastern)
This week: The Sun is in Cancer; Mercury is in Leo; Venus is in Leo; Mars is in Taurus until July 20th, when it enters Gemini.
The Sun is in Cancer from June 20-July 22. We are self-protective and insular under this influence. Our attention turns to our nest–our families, homes, and anything that makes us feel “at home,” safe, and secure.
Nurturing and caring for our loved ones and pet projects come into focus. Emotions run deep, and we easily tune in to the world of feelings. Note that we are more in tune with the Moon while the Sun is in Cancer.
We may not want to grow up and face responsibilities or the outside world during the Sun-in-Cancer cycle. We should watch for dependence when we’d do better for ourselves otherwise. However, it’s a robust transit for recognizing our needs for comfort, safety, and familiarity. We’re inclined to form strong bonds and protect our loved ones.
Mercury is in Leo from July 2-25 and later, August 14-September 9 [Lengthier transit of Leo due to a Mercury retrograde period from August 5th to 28th, 2024]. When Mercury is in Leo, our thinking is more confident and grand. The focus is now on the goal–and the grander a goal the better! The details may not be quite as important now. We are more expressive, even theatrical and given to speech-giving and story-telling under this influence.
We are also more convincing and persuasive, as we exude confidence when we speak or write. With this transit, we may not listen as well as we normally do since we’re very focused on our own ideas.
We’re also strong about making decisions ourselves and letting our voices and input be heard. This is not a time when we’re content with letting others make all the moves or decisions–we need to be involved. We take the lead, manage, direct, and create while Mercury is in Leo. We need to relate to information or create stories about it to absorb it well. During this cycle, we should watch for being too inflexible, proud, or haughty to change course.
Venus is in Leo from July 11-August 4. Love is magnificent and grand while Venus is in Leo. We take pride in love, and we are generous with our money as well. This is a warmhearted, teasing, expressive, proud, and extravagant placement for Venus. Love is a bit of a game–a game that is perpetual, as Venus in Leo is forever stuck in the romance stage of a relationship. We feed on attention, acknowledgement, validation, and adoration.
Venus in Leo loves to be adored, pampered, and admired. Pride and passion are hallmarks of this cycle. We have a strong ego investment in our love lives during this period. The negative expression of this placement is overstating our feelings simply for the effect, as well as extravagance.
The Venus-in-Leo cycle can be a strong or profitable time for contests, lotteries, parties, recreation, drama, adornment, jewelry, costumes, art dealing, and all things golden. Generosity and warmth contribute to our ability to draw in the right resources. We can have a compelling desire to stand out, be remarkable, and feel special during this period.
Mars is in Taurus from June 9-July 20. During this cycle, we are determined, stubborn, and persistent. Mars in Taurus can be passive until provoked and is at its strongest when digging in its heels, outlasting, or defending something! In stark contrast to the impulsive Mars in Aries cycle, we tend to pursue our goals by plodding along patiently. We seek longevity and long-term satisfaction.
While Mars is in Taurus, we’re slow to change course or get started but persevering. Preferring methodical work over creative methods, we seek predictability and stability. We can be stubborn and resistant to change, and we’ll work the hardest for material security.
It’s not a time when we readily take risks. Instead, we seek concrete, long-lasting results. Our stamina is great, and our cravings and physical needs/desires are prominent, driving us towards our goals.
Mars is in Gemini from July 20-September 4. In Gemini, Mars is versatile and flexible but not especially determined or focused. We should watch for becoming so scattered that we’re ineffective. However, it’s an excellent period for diversifying our interests and understanding the power of our communications.
It’s an excellent time for strategizing and devising useful tactics to achieve our desires and goals. We’re resourceful and clever, and we know how to use words effectively.
Perhaps most notable during this period is our tactical skills. We know how to maneuver things to get our way. We use words to charm and express anger. We’re very talkative, and animatedly so, when passionate and enthusiastic about a topic.
.
Jupiter is in Gemini.
Jupiter began its transit of Gemini on May 24th, 2024, and continues its transit of the sign until June 9th, 2025. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Gemini.
Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Read about Saturn’s transit of Pisces. Saturn will enter Aries on May 24th, 2025.
Uranus is in Taurus.
Uranus transits Taurus from May 15, 2018, to November 6, 2018, and then from March 6th, 2019, until 2025/6. We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.
Pluto transitions from Capricorn to Aquarius in 2023 and 2024. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Pluto retrograded back into Capricorn, and was in Capricorn until January 20th, 2024. Pluto is in Aquarius from January 20th to September 1st, when it will retreat into Capricorn once again. Note: Pluto is slow-moving through the zodiac signs!
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Leo from July 11-August 4. Love is magnificent and grand!
This week: On Sunday, we’re reticent, not sure of our affections or more aware of the possibility that someone might not return our feelings. We can find several little things wrong with our relationships, or there can be some awkward energy in our interactions. We’re not very generous with our feelings (or money!), and insecurities can surface.
Love and relationships are exciting on Thursday and Friday, when Venus harmonizes with the Moon’s Nodes and forms a parallel with Mars and Uranus. These transits stimulate insistent feelings that want some form of release and boost our desire to merge and create. Relationships or connections are tremendous motivators now, and interactions are buzzing, feeling fresh. We want to move on, grow, and improve, and we may draw in situations that help us do just that.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Leo Romance becomes an end in itself as a new cycle begins for you. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth.
Venus opposition Pluto July 11-12. This is a period of intense feelings, as well as possible emotional distress and tension caused by romantic troubles or social manipulation. An experience of being used or abused physically, emotionally or sexually may cause us suffering or disappointment. Sexually driven emotions are likely now. Fears of betrayal may get the best of us.
Venus sesquiquadrate Saturn July 14. Feelings of isolation, of not getting what we really want, and of not being loved the way we want to be loved can get in the way of pleasant relations with our partners.
Venus parallel Mars July 18-19. Favors romantic and sexual relationships. Intense passions.
Venus trine North Node July 18-19. We are more concerned about harmonizing and tend to be agreeable and cooperative. We could feel lucky in love, and we could meet someone who is good for us. Fortunate connections might be made now.
Venus parallel Uranus July 19. There can be spontaneous meetings and forward movement in our relationships. We have good instincts for future trends. We embrace all that is new, unusual, and out-of-the-ordinary with regards to romantic involvements. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time. We are ready to experiment, but not necessarily ready to commit. Peculiar, sudden, or avant garde attractions. This is an exciting but unstable energy. Friendship in love relationships becomes more important.
Venus sextile Jupiter July 21. This aspect generates a happy, friendly, and optimistic attitude. People are a little more outgoing and sociable. Favors travel, education, and culture. Romantic opportunities. Harmony and good will.
Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune July 23. Romantic confusion as well as relationship ups and downs. Self-deceptions may come to light now.
Venus quincunx Saturn July 26. A feeling that we may not be able to express our affections, or that our affections will not be received well, can undermine us in our relationships. Fear of rejection, emotional distancing, and over-sensitivity.
Venus trine Chiron July 30. A commitment-friendly transit. Love can heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Saturday, July 13th, from 6:49 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to the Sun), until the Moon enters Scorpio on Sunday, July 14th, at 10:53 AM EDT.
VOC Moon on Tuesday, July 16th, from 9:11 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Neptune), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 9:25 PM EDT (a short VOC period).
VOC Moon on Friday, July 19th, from 3:59 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 4:15 AM EDT (another short VOC period).
July 2024:
Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, with exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, there are no windows of opportunity occurring again this week. The next short window will occur on Sunday, July 21st from approximately 7:00 AM to 7:20 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Capricorn.

This Week’s Calendar
This Week’s Aspects
Venus sesquiquadrate Saturn. There may be difficulties relating to others under this influence. People may be cool with their affections and emotionally distant. Avoid new financial undertakings, as they may prove to be “money pits” as time passes. There may be anxiety or troubles with regards to matters concerned with the feelings. Romantic disappointments, unrequited love, separations, and broken engagements are the more negative manifestations. We tend to lack social confidence at this time and adopt a shy, formal, or reserved social manner. This transit is best used for reflection.
Mercury quincunx Saturn. Communication challenges today make it hard to get a point across. Delays, “red tape”, and vague feelings of forgetting important details.
Sun square Chiron. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and through others is strong, but may be hampered by a lack of confidence or a fear of being different. We might experience a lack of faith in our own decisions. We could too easily follow others’ leads due to self-doubt, or simply to please them and out of fear of asserting our own desires.
Mars conjunct Uranus. A tendency to take risks, to feel restless, and to act on sudden impulses without considering consequences can take hold now. There may be changes in work schedules, or life’s circumstances could challenge us in such a way that we need to change our goals or actions. We are naturally bold and assertive, willing to experiment, and conscious of a need to act independently. Our ideas may be ground-breaking, or at the very least progressive. A strong desire to make things happen is with us now. The best way to harness this exciting but erratic energy is to act rather than react.
Sun sextile Uranus. We are willing to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. It’s a good time to join organizations and groups and to attend meetings or social events, as these can be enlightening. We can find creative solutions to problems now and effect positive changes. Flexibility is the key to success under this influence.
Mercury trine Chiron. This is an excellent period for opening up communications with others, as we are more sensitive than usual and more willing to listen. Getting our point across is easier, as it’s not only about which words we choose to communicate, we intuitively express the meaning and intention behind the words. We can effectively use words to heal and comfort just now. We are also more open to new ways of looking at problems or at life in general.
Sun semi-square Jupiter. We may feel vague restlessness and discontent with life as it is. We want more, but perhaps too much. Overestimation, wastefulness, and exaggeration. Elevated moods, but unstable ones, as they may not be based on reality.
Mars sextile Neptune. Inspiration might be found now, and our intuition is strong. This influence favors dancing, swimming, photography, arts, entertainment. There can be letting go of anger, or a softening of the disposition now.

JULY 14
The Moon continues its transit of respectful, relationship-oriented Libra today but moves into passionate, perceptive Scorpio at 10:53 AM EDT. The Scorpio Moon makes challenging aspects today, forming squares with Venus and Pluto as these bodies separate from an opposition. We can experience reverberations from the events of this recent aspect, delayed reactions, or resentments. Venus forms a sesquiquadrate with Saturn tonight, and there can be anxiety or troubles with matters concerned with feelings and affections until we get in touch with our true needs and wants.
The Moon continues its void period today until it enters Scorpio at 10:53 AM EDT.
JULY 15
The Sun’s square to Chiron this morning can pull up insecurities and areas of vulnerability, possibly disruptively. We could too easily follow others’ leads because of self-doubt, to please them, or out of fear of asserting our desires. Alternatively, we might go to great lengths to prove ourselves or assert our individuality when a better approach would be to recognize feelings of vulnerability that people or circumstances are stirring.
With Mercury’s quincunx to Saturn also in play this morning, mental anxiety can interfere with making good, practical choices. There can be communication challenges or mental blocks. Doubts might slow down our movements and initiatives.
While this can normally be a helpful process as we take a break from pushing ahead to check in with our objectives, something bigger is in play: a Mars-Uranus alignment can overshadow this energy with impulsivity. It’s the final alignment of Mars and Uranus during Uranus’ current transit of Taurus, and there can be abrupt changes, choices, or decisions with money, valuables, possessions, ownership, and income, leading to a reshuffling of priorities or values. On a psychological level, this can be about boundaries, self-worth, and matters of respect.
This transit occurs approximately every two years, not always in the same sign, and when it does, we can experience a sudden desire to make things happen. It’s a powerful time for letting in change and ridding ourselves of attachments weighing us down. We are bold and assertive, willing to experiment, and hyper-conscious of a need to act independently. The best way to harness this exciting but erratic energy is to act rather than react. However, it can be challenging to know whether our impulses come from genuine desire or if we are rebelling against restrictions. We should watch for rash decisions and impatience, which can lead to accidents or other missteps. With this transit, anger or rebellion can be sudden, unexpected, and erratic.
JULY 16
The Moon is in Scorpio until 9:25 PM EDT, encouraging us to get in touch with our feelings. There can be a boost to our intimate life and self-understanding. The Scorpio Moon harmonizes with Saturn, the Sun, and Neptune but challenges Mercury and the Mars-Uranus conjunction. We want to cooperate and harmonize, and our imagination and ability to empathize are enhanced. We are more inclined to trust our intuition but can feel torn between stubbornly resisting change and embracing it. The Sagittarius Moon from 9:25 PM forward craves more adventure and experience, and its sextile to Pluto tonight adds determination to our quest.
The Moon is void from 9:11 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Neptune), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 9:25 PM EDT.
JULY 17
Today’s Sagittarius Moon is spirited, enthusiastic, and confident. We’re especially interested in what’s true and just with the Sagittarius Moon. We’re optimistic and far-sighted. This transit encourages us to explore, seek, and discover. Bored with the mundane, anything that breaks the routine is appealing now. We’re more idealistic than usual, perhaps expecting much from our lives. Optimism is one of the positive traits of this position, but it’s important to be cautious as neglecting to see the essential details of a plan is a possible weakness. The Moon opposes Jupiter this evening, which brings ‘borrow from the future’ energy. We should be careful not to commit to something for which we don’t yet have the resources, reminding us to be aware of our potential for over-optimism.
JULY 18
Today, there’s strong, spirited, independent energy with us. With Mars, the planet of action, in a parallel alignment with Uranus, the planet of innovation (and with Venus set to join them in a parallel alignment tomorrow), we can expect a day of quick reactions, inventive thinking, and potentially explosive situations. The cosmic influence encourages us to seek out new, creative, original, and unique experiences.
The morning’s Sun-Uranus sextile brings a theme of progress. This transit stirs our willingness to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. Spirits are high, and we’re excited about change. Group connections can be enlightening, and we’ll do the best for ourselves if we embrace flexibility and innovation. We might arrive at creative solutions to problems and make improvements now. The Sun semi-square Jupiter tonight can point to some overestimation of our energy or motivation levels. We want to grow, improve, and expand, and it may be necessary to push some boundaries now, but it’s best to do so gently.
Fortunately, a Mercury-Chiron trine today opens our minds to learning from one another. This influence aids with communicating our feelings constructively. We’re relaying our messages in relatable, accessible ways. Good energy is with us for discussing or giving more thought to sensitive topics. We’re especially alert, observant, and willing to understand. It’s easier than usual to communicate our message now, although this is less about getting the exact wording right and more about conveying our intentions. We might discover new ways to approach problems. This potential for learning from one another can boost our sense of connection.
JULY 19
The Moon heads into practical, earthy Capricorn at 4:15 AM EDT. While we’re generally goal-oriented with this Moon transit, Mercury connects creatively with Jupiter and Neptune, which have just formed a quintile. These aspects open our minds to others’ struggles and are brilliant for strategic creative moves. We’re gracious and compassionate, giving one another the benefit of the doubt. Putting our faith in someone or something now can feel terrific, and we’re inclined to notice the spiritual dimensions or imaginative elements of our pursuits. We are more idealistic, spiritually aware, and sensitive. Boundaries dissolve, and we are disinclined to draw definite or firm conclusions.
Still, Venus forms parallels with both Mars and Uranus and a trine with the Moon’s North Node, and the atmosphere is electric. These transits stimulate insistent feelings that want some form of release and boost our desire to merge and create. Relationships or connections are tremendous motivators, and interactions are buzzing and fresh. We want to move on, grow, and improve and may draw in situations that help us do just that. There can be spontaneous meetings and forward movement in our relationships. We also have good instincts for future trends, and while we can be somewhat impulsive, we’re also harmonizing and cooperating.
The Moon is void from 3:59 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Neptune), until the Moon enters Capricorn at 4:15 AM EDT.
JULY 20
Mars leaves Taurus and enters Gemini today, but before it goes, it harmonizes with Neptune, encouraging an inspired or gentle approach to pursuing our desires. With this transit in force, we actively seek inspiration. Our intuitive guidance can be put to practical use, especially if it helps increase our sense of security. There can be the letting go of anger or a softening of the disposition now. We prefer to cooperate or go our own way than compete. We are also ready to act on our compassion, communicating our intentions through actions and gestures, and our intuition for making the right moves is strong. We might open up to unusual or alternative healing methods or the use of compassion and forgiveness for healing purposes. Creative arts can thrive.
Mars transits Gemini from today until September 4th. It’s a versatile and flexible influence but not especially determined or focused. We should watch for becoming so scattered that we’re ineffective and making hasty or nervous decisions. However, it’s an excellent period for diversifying our interests and understanding the power of our communications. We’re strategizing and devising useful tactics to achieve our desires and goals. We’re resourceful and clever and know how to use words effectively. Perhaps most notable during this period is our tactical skills. We know how to maneuver things to get our way. We use words to charm and express anger. When passionate about a topic, we’re very talkative and animated.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon in Sagittarius generally favors the following activities: Adventurous activities that involve "winging it", travel, higher education, starting publishing projects, advertising, sports, physical activity.
When the Moon is in Capricorn
We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. Achievement and manifestation are most important to us now. We are resourceful and don't want to waste time, energy, or resources. This can be a very sober influence--even a depressing one. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.
The Moon in Capricorn generally favors the following activities: Long-term activities that yield slow but steady results, practical undertakings, career issues, making a business plan, practical investments.
Upcoming Weeks: Calendars
THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Cancer Being more in touch with your emotional roots is a keynote of the cycle that now takes hold in your life. This has to do with feelings, but it’s more than that: it’s about making the things you feel and care about a reality. At some levels, this means a greater focus on family life – parents, children, relatives, the whole domestic scene. On a somewhat broader scale, you’re likely to find that houses and other real property take on greater significance for you. Nurturing is where it’s at in your life now: making things grow and taking care of them, planting seeds that will develop and survive far into the future – that’s what it’s all about.
Mercury in Leo The hallmark of the cycle you have just begun is thinking, learning and communicating with style. Intellectual creativity is highlighted, and your social connections have a certain flair of drama to them. Winning the admiration of others for the things you say or write (and the way you do it) takes on more importance in your life.
Venus in Leo Romance becomes an end in itself as a new cycle begins for you. It marks a time when love, creativity, and self-expression satisfy a deep yearning to be appreciated and admired – needed, even. A flashy, flirty, stylish splash of color and warmth.
Mars in Taurus Making the most of what you’ve got, striving for security and stability: that’s the impulse that stirs in you as a new cycle begins in your life. New frontiers? That’s kid’s stuff for you now! What you want is to build something that will last: a pyramid, a Great Wall – you know, that sort of thing. Steady, patient, solid: that’s your style now.
Mars in Gemini Learning, communicating, the exchange of ideas: these are the experiences you crave as a means to make your mark now, as a new phase begins in your life. You’re a person with something to say, and you realize that others have information that is essential to your goals. A time of much mental energy and initiative … perhaps with an element of conflict tossed in for good measure.
Jupiter in Gemini Facilitating the transfer of ideas and information takes on a special priority for you now. Writing, studying, and communicating play a bigger role in your life as a result. The belief that well-informed people will make the right decisions becomes an article of faith. Just remember: sometimes people know the right thing to do and STILL do something different!
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is Maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Pluto in Aquarius Reform, revolution, a rejection of the past and a focus on the future: these are the signatures of the new phase now beginning in your life. Tradition becomes irrelevant, and the conventional wisdom is revealed as dogma or outright nonsense – and what’s the difference, really? Radical changes in all things social and intellectual.
