First Quarter Moon
The First Quarter MOON occurs on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, at 11:47 PM EST.
On Sunday night, the First Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Aquarius forms a square with the Moon in Taurus. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we are made aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error.
Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles. This can be a time of stress, clashing, and discord, but also of high energy, motivation, and growth.
The First Quarter Moon Chart:
This phase of the Moon occurs at 6 degrees and 14 minutes of Taurus square the Sun at the same degree of Aquarius, affecting planets at approximately 4 to 8 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) the most.
NEXT WEEK: The next Moon phase will occur on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at 5:09 PM EST, when a Full Moon will occur in the sign of Leo.

This week: The Sun is in Aquarius; Mercury is in Aquarius; Venus is in Aquarius; Mars is in Aquarius.
The Sun is in Aquarius from January 19-February 18. During this cycle, we are motivated by our hunger for knowledge, experience, and originality. Innovation is more important to us than convention. We become more aware of what is outdated in our lives, and strive to find new perspectives and new ways to do things. The class distinctions, structure, and order that Capricorn finds appealing now seem to be too rigid. The freedom of the individual becomes far more significant to us. We strive to free ourselves from some of the restrictions, inhibitions, and limitations that now feel constraining rather than safe.
We recognize those things that are obsolete or outdated, and we’re ready to change the world with new ideas and methods. We might often let our heads rule over our hearts during this cycle, preferring an objective, impersonal, and rational approach to life.
Mercury is in Aquarius from January 20-February 6. When Mercury is in Aquarius, we are hungry for knowledge and open to new and original ideas. We begin to think outside of the box, and our thinking becomes more progressive and objective. Our communication and thought patterns are spontaneous, somewhat fragmented, reasonable, objective, and liberal. This is a time when inventive thinking is at a peak.
We’re reasonable, finding it easier to separate intellect and emotion when assessing a situation. Although progressive-minded and receptive to new studies and information, we are not quick to sway from our ideas and beliefs.
During this cycle, we take more interest in thinking that’s daring or original. As we envision a better future, we can come up with truly interesting ideas and concepts.
Venus is in Aquarius from January 17-February 10. We move towards unconventionality, independence, and freedom as themes in our social relationships under this influence. Aquarius can be just as faithful as Capricorn, but it has to be on its own terms! Experimental relationships are more intriguing now.
Being friends as well as lovers is important to us during this cycle. Allowing one another freedom of expression, and treating others fairly, unselfishly, and impartially, are themes now.
We treat people as equals and take our friendships, causes, and interests seriously. We prize intellectual stimulation and companionship. Income boosts come through innovative ideas. We can remake traditions and approach things unconventionally. Being true to ourselves is of the utmost importance in our relationships. Venus-in-Aquarius is a friendly but aloof period.
Mars is in Aquarius from January 23-March 2. Dynamic yet erratic energy levels, achieving our goals through hit-or-miss tactics, and impersonal expressions of anger are characteristics of Mars in Aquarius. While we can be self-starters, we also believe in the team, cooperating, and reducing the emphasis on personal power.
During the Mars-in-Aquarius cycle, we are attracted to unconventional methods and tend to approach problems from an intellectual, detached perspective. We need space to get in touch with our own intuition and don’t appreciate being forced or coerced into going a certain way. This transit can be rebellious and obstinate if it feels constrained or labeled.
This is a cycle for inventing, reforming, and revolutionizing. We’re freeing ourselves from outdated patterns or traditions.

Jupiter is in Cancer.
Jupiter began its transit of Cancer on June 9th, 2025, and will continue its visit to the sign until June 30th, 2026. Read more about Jupiter’s transit of Cancer.

Saturn is in Pisces. Saturn was in Aries from May 24th, 2025 to September 1st, 2025, and will be in Aries again from February 13th, 2026, to April 12th, 2028. Read about Saturn’s transit of Aries. Saturn isn’t yet completely done with its transit of Pisces. Saturn transits Pisces from March 7th, 2023 until May 24th, 2025, and currently, from Sep 1st, 2025, to Feb 13th, 2026. Uranus has returned to Taurus.
Uranus is in Gemini from July 7th to November 7th, 2025, from April 25, 2026, to August 3, 2032, and then from December 12, 2032, to May 22, 2033. Read about Uranus in Gemini in its calendar page.
Uranus has more work to do in the sign of Taurus from November 7th, 2025, to April 25th, 2026. Uranus began in Taurus in 2018/2019. During this cycle, we approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn to free ourselves from certain material constraints. Innovative ways to make ourselves comfortable emerge. We’re less inhibited about expressing sensuality, self-love, body love, and pampering. Above all, we’re challenging what we previously valued during this cycle.
There can be abrupt changes with money, valuables, possessions, and income that lead to a reshuffling of priorities or values. Income might come from non-traditional sources or ventures. In general, we’re bringing progressive ideas to the world of business. New ways of doing business, as well as making, viewing, and handling money, are likely. Our income and the energy we put into making money can be variable.

Neptune enters Aries on January 26th. Neptune first transited Aries from March 30, 2025, to October 22, 2025, but it returned to Pisces. This week, Neptune enters Aries again, this time for the long haul. Neptune is in Aries from January 26, 2026, to May 21, 2038, and then October 21, 2038, to March 23, 2039. Read about Neptune’s transit of Aries.

Pluto is in Aquarius. Read about Pluto’s transit of Aquarius. Note that Pluto finally completed its journey through Capricorn on November 19th, 2024, from which time Pluto stays in Aquarius for many years to come.
Romance & Relationships
Venus is in Aquarius from January 17-February 10. While Venus was in Capricorn, we valued enduring connections, reliability, and faithfulness. We took expressing our feelings seriously, and we also took our sweet time warming up to others! Generally, we kept our “cool” in relationships. With Venus now in Aquarius, we still keep our “cool” in relationships, but in a detached and impersonal sort of way. Unconventional set-ups become more appealing.
Bringing the spirit of friendship into romantic relationships is a positive use of Venus in Aquarius energy. Relationships that fairly scream “alternative” appeal to us now. It’s all about being open-minded and somewhat detached with Aquarius energy dominating the love arena. With Venus in Aquarius, it may be better to approach dating casually, with no expectations and no strings. Melodrama and emotionalism are not in favor. We may also find ourselves attracted to–or attracting–people who are not our usual “type.”
This week: On Sunday, our strong desire for harmony and comfort dominates. We may be moved to express our affections.
Tuesday holds some tension, as we can find several little things wrong with our relationships, or there can be some awkward energy in our interactions. We’re not very generous with our feelings (or money!), and insecurities can rule.
However, on Wednesday and Thursday, we can talk things through and smooth things out. We’re communicative and inclined to analyze our feelings and relationships. However, there can be some vagueness or uncertainty involved.
On Saturday, our desire for the pleasures of life is strong, but we tend to overshoot. Troubles in relationships now are likely due to overblown expectations. It can be challenging to find a balance between responsibilities and pleasures.
Venus, the Goddess of Love: Highlights in the Coming Week:
Venus in Aquarius A love for the unusual, a distaste for stodgy old rules and conventions, a feeling that you’re above the petty bourgeois stuff and nonsense: that’s what a new cycle brings into your life now. (“I love humanity; it’s people I can’t stand!”) Unconventional romantic and social connections are likely at a time like this.
Venus contra-parallel Uranus January 23. Questions of freedom, change, specialness, and experimentation are raised in our relationships.
Venus parallel the Sun January 25. A strong desire for harmony and comfort fill us now. We may be moved to express our affections.
Venus semi-square Saturn January 27. Feelings of isolation, of not getting what we really want, and of not being loved the way we want to be loved can get in the way of pleasant relations with our partners.
Venus conjunct Mercury January 28-29. Favors playfulness in love and enhanced communication between partners.
Venus semi-square Neptune January 29. Romantic confusion as well as relationship ups and downs. Self-deceptions may come to light now.
Venus quincunx Jupiter January 31. A strong desire for the pleasures of life is with us now, although our eyes are often bigger than our stomachs. Troubles in relationships now are likely due to overblown expectations. It can be challenging to find a balance between responsibilities and the desire for self-gratification.
Venus parallel Mercury January 31-February 1. A congenial time when we appreciate diplomacy and socialize more readily.
Venus sextile Chiron February 4. Love has the power to heal old wounds. We are open to romantic feelings and more willing to act upon them.
Venus square Uranus February 7-8. We might have to deal with issues of freedom versus intimacy during this period. Peculiar or impulsive attractions are exciting, but unlikely to last very long. Treat them as passing fancies, and enjoy them while they last–but try to hold off on making any big decisions with regards to love today.
Venus semi-sextile Saturn February 9. We may feel somewhat reserved, not quite able to let our hair down without remembering our responsibilities. However, we’re capable of great balance and understanding.
Venus semi-sextile Neptune February 10. We may feel that our quest for pleasure, affection, love, or comfort is at odds with our dreams, romantic ideas, or ideals, which can lead to mild discontent. Seeking to fulfill these needs without doing so at the expense of the other makes sense, but it isn’t straightforward at this time.
The Moon & Timing
The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Strictures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
The Void-of-Course Moon this Week:
Void-of-course Moon on Saturday, January 24th, from 4:37 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Taurus the next day, Sunday, January 25th, at 1:06 PM EST.
VOC on Tuesday, January 27th, from 12:58 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Saturn), until the Moon enters Gemini at 3:55 PM EST.
VOC Moon on Thursday, January 29th, from 2:57 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Saturn), until the Moon enters Cancer at 5:32 PM EST.
VOC Moon on Saturday, January 31st, from 4:52 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Saturn), until the Moon enters Leo at 7:09 PM EST.

Timing with the Moon – Better Periods this Week for Electing New Initiatives
It’s important to note that there are more factors to consider in addition to the windows listed below. The following windows are starting points. For example, you generally don’t want to elect a new venture when a very challenging aspect is applying, and it’s preferable to elect a time when a particularly positive aspect hasn’t yet perfected (is applying rather than separating).
The Moon is waxing this week, which is generally considered favorable for new beginnings, but with some exceptions. (See Best Time to Start a Business for more details).
According to principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from Monday, January 26th, at approximately 1 PM EST, until Tuesday, January 27th, at approximately 12:55 PM EST, while the Moon is in Taurus. Another window occurs from approximately 6:45 PM EST on January 29th, until Saturday, January 31st, at approximately 4:50 PM EST, while the Moon is in Cancer.

This Week’s Aspects
![]()
![]()
Mars conjunct Pluto. This is a powerful aspect that helps us to focus on our goals, to take decisive action, and to go after what we want. We won’t take “no” for an answer. We might totally revise something, or we could be bent on getting rid of something in our lives in order to move forward. We might be too forceful or willful just now. We should also watch for overdoing to the point of exhaustion. This can be a compulsive time when power struggles are more likely. On the other hand, it can be a time when we enjoy a strong sense of purposefulness.
![]()
![]()
Venus semi-square Saturn. There may be difficulties relating to others under this influence. People may be cool with their affections and emotionally distant. Avoid new financial undertakings, as they may prove to be “money pits” as time passes. There may be anxiety or troubles with respect to matters concerned with the feelings. Romantic disappointments, unrequited love, separations, and broken engagements are the more difficult manifestations. We tend to lack social confidence at this time and adopt a shy, formal, or reserved social manner. It’s better to use this transit for reflection.
![]()
![]()
Mercury semi-square Saturn. Red tape, re-doing tasks we thought we had finished, problems getting from point A to point B, delays in communication, negative thinking, hyper-sensitivity and criticism–these are all potentials now. The energy is best used for focusing on fixing errors rather than harping on how irritating they are!
![]()
![]()
Mercury conjunct Venus. Lighthearted conversations, sociability, humor, cooperation. Good time for socializing and for communicating with ease, telling others how we feel, and negotiating. Mentally, we’re not as disciplined as usual, as we prefer to chat with others and to think about more “pleasant” things than work. Generally favorable for commerce.
![]()
![]()
Mercury semi-square Neptune. We are not thinking clearly, preferring to daydream. The tendency is to gloss over technical facts. There are better times to make a presentation, to ask for what you want, or to formalize agreements. It can be hard to find the words we need to express ourselves.
![]()
![]()
Venus semi-square Neptune. Happiness is addictive under this influence. We tend to see what we want to see. Glossing over the more realistic points, details, and flaws of circumstances and of people provides us with instant gratification. However, it’s wise to hold off on making important purchases, or natalizing a relationship until the veil lifts. Take care with legal, financial, and social involvements, contracts, or formal agreements under this dreamy influence.
![]()
![]()
Mercury quincunx (inconjunct) Jupiter. We may have big ideas under this influence, but we may also overestimate our abilities or underestimate the situation. Avoid jumping into something without planning ahead, as important details are too easy to overlook. Also, avoid making promises you may not be able to fulfill, and read the fine print!

Venus quincunx Jupiter. A strong desire for the pleasures of life is emphasized now, although our eyes are often bigger than our stomach. Challenges in relationships now are likely due to overblown expectations. It can be challenging to find a balance between responsibilities and the desire for self-gratification.

JANUARY 25
The Moon continues its transit of Aries until 1:06 PM EST, when it heads into Taurus. With the Taurus Moon, we crave simplicity, comfort, and predictability. The Sun forms a parallel to Venus, and we’re likely to experience a strong desire for harmony and comfort. We can be moved to express our affections. At the same time, we are taking more pride in our relationships and diplomacy skills, and we may be putting more effort into these areas now. We prefer to attract rather than pursue and to compromise rather than fight.
The First Quarter Moon occurs tonight at 11:47 PM, when the Sun in Aquarius forms a square with the Moon in Taurus. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. We become aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles. It can be a time of stress, clashing, and discord, but also high energy, motivation, and growth.
The Moon is void until the Moon enters Taurus today at 1:06 PM EST.
JANUARY 26
Neptune enters Aries today. While Neptune flirted with the sign in 2025, it will now transit the sign for many years (until 2038-2039). While Neptune is in Aries, we idealize independence, courage, bravery, freedom, and fresh starts. However, we may not see ourselves clearly, or we might struggle with defining ourselves and our boundaries during this period. We might also inflate our importance in times of insecurity, which can be quite detrimental. Presenting false images of ourselves that we end up identifying with can be especially tempting during this period. Other issues to watch for include impatience with things we don’t understand or intricate matters, and being caught off guard by competitors or by anger we failed to recognize. On the other hand, it can be a time of great wonder and impulse–we tend to boldly follow our intuition wherever it leads us. We have faith in our ability to innovate, lead, start anew, and win. We can be talented at inspiring others to action and promoting our beliefs, ideas, and missions.
Neptune was in Aries from March 30, 2025, to October 22, 2025, and is now in Aries from January 26, 2026, to May 21, 2038.
Today’s Moon in Taurus is harmony-oriented, comfortable, and stubborn. Stability and permanence satisfy a deep emotional need. While we’re not inclined to go out of our way, preferring to settle in, we enjoy some light interaction.
JANUARY 27
The Moon continues its transit of Taurus until 3:55 PM EST, and while we’re listening to our needs for change and innovation, we’re respecting the process and the need for patience. The Moon in Gemini from 3:55 PM forward is curious and communicative, making it a good time to look into new topics and handle several different tasks. While it’s not an ideal Moon transit for follow-through, tonight’s Moon-Pluto and Moon-Mar trines help us focus.
With Mars conjunct Pluto today, we can experience strong desires to take action on a matter, but impatience or pushiness could trip us up if we are not careful. We should also watch for buried resentments and anger driving our actions, as well as the tendency to ignore reason.
However, well channeled, this energy can bring increased focus and motivation. We dare to go after what we want and to take decisive action! We might entirely revise or rebuild something from the ground up, break something down to start anew, or we may be determined to put a difficult situation behind us so that we can move forward. Still, we might be too forceful or willful and should avoid overdoing it to the point of exhaustion. This can be a compulsive time when power struggles are more likely, and we are tested to the limit. Positively, we enjoy a strong sense of purposefulness.
A minor square between Venus and Saturn occurs tonight, and there can be some diffidence in our interactions. With this transit, we can be cool with our sentiments and emotionally distant. Some anxiety or troubles with our feelings and affections are likely.
The Moon is void today from 12:58 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Saturn), until the Moon enters Gemini at 3:55 PM EST.
JANUARY 28
Venus formed a semi-square with Saturn last night, and Mercury does the same this morning, as both bodies head into alignment. Early today, potential delays or miscommunications are possible. We may need to manage some inconveniences in our transportation or communications. Drawing on patience is essential, as minor edits can ultimately benefit us. However, as the day advances, these energies turn around, and we can feel pleasantly attached to others. We find nurturing and supporting people in our lives more natural, especially through conversation. Today’s Gemini Moon, in harmony with the Sun, Mercury, and Venus, reinforces this energy. As well, with the Sun’s conjunction to Vesta, we can be quite clear about where we want to direct our energies. We become caught up in our personal interests and projects, showing greater dedication and the ability to narrow our focus.
JANUARY 29
The Moon continues its transit of Gemini until 5:32 PM EST, when it heads into Cancer. With the Gemini Moon, we crave mental stimulation and a variety of interests and things to do or learn. We’re especially responsive and sensitive to what’s going on around us, and we’re more adaptive than usual. With the Cancer Moon from 5:32 PM onward, we strive to connect with our past in empowering ways, and we can be more protective and resourceful while trusting our intuition. The Cancer Moon is sensitive, cautious, shrewd, and receptive.
Mercury aligns with Venus this morning, encouraging us to intellectualize or analyze our feelings, leading us to hash things out, compliment one another, see the positives, and enjoy our exchanges. It’s an excellent time to reach agreements or negotiate with others.
This transit is a cooperative influence that stirs our desire for harmony and balance, which can mean we don’t dig too deeply.
Both planets form semi-squares to Neptune, however, which can be distracting. There can be a tendency to gloss over problems or see what we want to see, imagining the best or the worst. Of course, the truth is somewhere in between. We should watch for looking the other way in the face of critical flaws and details.
The Moon is void from 2:57 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Saturn), until the Moon enters Cancer at 5:32 PM EST.
JANUARY 30
Mercury forms a quincunx with Jupiter today, and Venus is heading toward the same aspect. We might waver, unable to reach a wholly satisfying decision or conclusion, in which case it’s better to reserve judgment. We may overestimate our abilities or underestimate the situation. We should avoid jumping into something without planning, as necessary details are too easy to overlook at the moment. The Moon’s alignment with Jupiter in Cancer supports good moods and intentions. We’re especially happy and generous with our care and time. This transit encourages a welcoming and accepting atmosphere, and we come alive in our circle. The Sun and Mercury are parallel today, so while there is a strong focus on our emotional lives, we also place quite a bit of importance on the mental plane. As well, with today’s Sun-Chiron quintile, we’re willing to grow, learn, and listen.
JANUARY 31
This morning, a Venus-Jupiter quincunx occurs, and while it’s a minor aspect, it can stir some restlessness and indecision about putting ourselves out there. A strong desire for life’s pleasures is emphasized, though our eyes can be bigger than our stomachs. Challenges in relationships now are likely due to overblown expectations. Finding a balance between what we want to do and what we think we should do can be challenging. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 7:09 PM EST, when it heads into Leo. With the Cancer Moon, we crave a strong sense of security, and the Moon’s connections help us discover ways to harmonize and express our needs for nurture. This Moon is sensitive, cautious, protective, and receptive. The Leo Moon from 7:09 PM onward stirs our need to express ourselves and create. We’re enthusiastic and take particular pride in our accomplishments. We can visualize what we want to do, and our sense of form is strong.
The Moon is void from 4:52 PM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Saturn), until the Moon enters Leo at 7:09 PM EST.

Moon Signs This Week:
When the Moon is in Aries
![]()
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to begin something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
People can be more self-motivated and also self-focused while the Moon is in Aries. It's a competitive rather than cooperative time. Accidents and tempers flaring are more likely than usual. This period is one of more personal courage.
The Moon in Aries generally favors the following activities: Quick actions that yield immediate results. Undertakings that involve the self and the personality. (Staying power may be lacking). Self-assertion, taking on challenges, beginning short-term projects.
When the Moon is in Taurus
![]()
We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses." Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.
While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.
When the Moon is in Gemini
![]()
Our basic instinct is to communicate, think, and learn under the influence of Moon in Gemini. We are motivated by a desire for variety and by an instinctive curiosity. The Moon in Gemini is light-hearted, breezy, spirited, and curious, but it can also be restless and fickle.
The Moon in Gemini generally favors the following activities: Mental and communicative actions, and more than one activity at once. Reading, learning, letters and emails, errands, writing, teaching, making connections, cafes, light and airy meetings, short trips.
When the Moon is in Cancer
![]()
The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence. The Moon feels right at home in the sign of Cancer, as it rules the sign. This Moon position has much healing potential. Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.
The Moon in Cancer generally favors the following activities: Domestic activities, those that involve awareness of personal needs. Home decor, family get-togethers.
When the Moon is in Leo
![]()
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.

THIS WEEK’S PLANETARY POSITIONS BY SIGN (General Trends):
Sun in Aquarius This is a time when your path of self-development and expression becomes more and more unusual – setting you apart from the crowd and from all that is traditional. The new, the futuristic, the high-tech are the hallmarks of your lifestyle as the cycle gets underway. Ideas and technologies that change the way people live – not just one person, but many – are a major new focus in your life. Involvement with ideals and idealistic groups enhances your sense of purpose and mission.
Mercury in Aquarius The tried and true doesn’t cut it anymore: it’s the new, the unique, and the original that catches and holds your interest now. Idealism, rationality, and critical thinking become more and more a part of your mental patterns and the way you communicate. You are inventive, original, high tech.
Mars in Aquarius The reformer, the inventor, the engineer, the revolutionary – these are important archetypes for you as a new cycle gets underway in your life. They are icons of the ambitions that stir you at a time like this. Independence, freedom from past patterns, and a daring readiness to innovate: such are the paths of achievement for you now.
Jupiter in Cancer Taking care of yourself and all that’s yours becomes a high priority in your life now. Security, setting down roots, establishing your ties with the past: these things are among the articles of faith that guide you. This is often a sign of growth in all things connected with family and property (such as real estate).
Saturn in Pisces Making peace with the past, coming to terms with karmic debts: these are some of the issues that confront you as a new phase begins in your life. Failure to face these things can cause setbacks and put obstacles in your path. Learn to look beyond the narrowly personal and selfish or you’ll get in over your head.
Uranus in Taurus Practicality and ingenuity combine as powerful drives in your life now that you have begun a new cycle. Taking innovative concepts and making them real and practical is your strong suit; getting stuck in the mud is to be avoided at all costs. Financial savvy, inventiveness, worldly genius.
Neptune in Pisces Things spiritual and psychic take the driver’s seat of your imagination as you begin a new cycle. The fine arts and all manner of fantasies assume a larger-than-life importance. Surrendering to fate, karma, and other powers greater than merely mortal may be seen as the ultimate liberation. If all is maya (illusion), what is the reality that gives rise to the world of appearances?
Neptune in Aries The frontier spirit is alive and well as a new cycle dawns in your life. Independence and originality take on a kind of primal importance for you; you tend to put these qualities on a pedestal, above all else. Fresh starts, new possibilities … these are the visions that light a spark in your soul. But what of the weak, the ones who aren’t free, the ones who get left behind?
Pluto in Aquarius Reform, revolution, a rejection of the past and a focus on the future: these are the signatures of the new phase now beginning in your life. Tradition becomes irrelevant, and the conventional wisdom is revealed as dogma or outright nonsense – and what’s the difference, really? Radical changes in all things social and intellectual.
