While it’s in effect each year within this time frame, including in 2022, it’s sometimes more prominent through its outer planet connections/aspects or problematic. February is particularly strong for collaborating with a partner or strengthening or attracting a relationship with improved communication. Improving trust and emotional honesty can figure strongly. Mars is retrograde this year: from October 30th, 2022, to January 12th, 2023. It’s important that, during this period, you get the rest you need and that you avoid pushing yourself or your personal plans and ventures ahead. Observe, reflect, and be as patient as you can.

Note, too, that there’s a pre-retrograde shadow period in which it’s best not to push your affairs forward, and this shadow phase occurs this year from September 23rd to October 30th.
