2015: Pisces Horoscope: Love, Career, & General Trends
2015 Overview for all Pisces.
The year ahead holds opportunities to do the work you love and to connect with someone special, dear Pisces. It also brings brand new responsibilities. You’re continuing a trend in which work, service, and support are strong themes. You are, for the most part, enjoying your routines, breathing new life into your work, and paying more attention to nutrition and/or fitness. You’re often found in a supportive role this year, and this is mostly a happy place for you to be. At times, you can feel overloaded, but there can also be distinct periods of pure enjoyment of the process of your work, tasks, and duties.
Saturn has just recently moved into Sagittarius, which brings this planet of discipline in difficult aspect to your sign. Saturn will move back into Scorpio and your adventure/spirit sector for the summer months, but then return to Sagittarius in September, where it will stay until December 2017. This transit brings your responsibilities to the outside world to light, and at times, to the test. It’s a pivotal period for you, when you reach a peak of sorts, particularly when it comes to the structures you’ve built and your career or reputation. This can be a time of harvest on career fronts, achievement, recognition, and new responsibilities. Others are taking you more seriously, which can be rewarding, but at times stressful. It can also be a time when poor past decisions come to light. Pisces born February 19-March 1st and those with Pisces Ascendants from 0-10 degrees will feel this energy most directly in 2015; for the rest of you, this energy will play out more in 2016 and 2017. For all Pisces, beginning in November, it’s important to take better care of your health and body, as demands on your time and energy can take their toll on you.
You can be quite absorbed in your work and daily routines, particularly from April to June, enjoying new innovations or technologies that help further your interests. Health and wellness programs can prosper, particularly alternative ones. There is excitement in business, and possibly new money-making opportunities, particularly from the last week of February through to the Full Moon on March 5th, and then peaking in April. By mid-October, you may be ready to put your plans into motion. Helping you along is Jupiter’s transit of your solar seventh house. While this is largely an influence for improved relationships, the seventh house also rules income from work and services, which can increase and improve.
A Solar Eclipse occurs at the tail-end of your sign in mid-March, bringing a fresh start. This is a time for reinventing yourself, putting yourself out there, and major new beginnings. A new cycle has begun that will be with you for two years, and it’s all about learning to stand on your own two feet, as well as doing an important balancing act when it comes to close relationships. You are both finding yourself and discovering others, benefiting both your closest relationships and your own feeling of independence. Owning your own decisions is an important part of this process, but later in the year, you’re also challenged to make long-term commitments and to develop a stronger sense of proportion and balance in a partnership. You’ll be working on disciplining actions and considering consequences to acting on impulse. There can be some see-sawing, for certain, and the process has only just begun, but this is an important time for learning about what you need and want. Relationship energy builds to new heights in the latter part of the year.
The summer is a good time for finishing up what you’ve started, particularly on educational or communication levels. Some of you could be doing important work on a pending project that’s soon to be published. There is some backtracking to do, but important edits are happening now that will benefit you greatly. This is a time for mapping out your future, making plans, and replacing old ways of seeing life with new views, approaches, and visions. Your life can feel especially full with opportunities for both work and play in July.
September’s Solar Eclipse brings a solid push to the new cycle with you in the second half of the year that brings relationships and commitments to the forefront. This cycle can bring some good publicity as well. Work can involve more one-on-one activity. There can be a personal or business partnership forming that is mutually beneficial. Some Pisces will be getting married or otherwise merging with a significant other later in the year or in 2016. An existing partnership might grow and prosper. You may be struggling with whether or not to make a commitment, as your freedom has been especially important to you, but more and more, you’re finding creative ways to combine the two. There could be important and helpful alliances forming now, and connections with influential people who help you advance. Friendships enjoy less pressure, and as a result, you’re seeing far more value in networking and reaching out to others. Friendships tend to stabilize in 2015. Full overview.
2015 Details.
Until August 11th, Jupiter continues to move through your solar sixth house. During this cycle, you are likely to see benefits in the areas of work and health, as well as daily routines. This transit enhances your ability to handle the details required to do a good job, and others become more aware of your skills. Benefits may come through work itself, co-workers, or employees during this cycle. Any type of service that you may provide is likely to go well now, mainly because you are finding more joy in being of service. You are more successful in hiring good workers, if applicable, and improvements to your working environment are likely. You find more enjoyment in the work you do, and it is easier than usual to find employment now. You may get a new job during this cycle. Work tends to be very available to you–perhaps even too available in that you don’t know which one to choose. The best way to handle this transit is to take pride in and recognize your usefulness–this is bound to give you a great deal of joy, and you are likely to be rewarded as a result.
As well, the more integrity, directness, and honesty you bring to your services and work, the more “payback” you will receive. Health is likely to prosper now, and medical procedures or programs, if necessary, are more apt to be successful. There may be an inclination to put on some weight, however, if you don’t watch your appetite and/or choice of food. Some people get a new pet during this cycle, and this brings them much joy. These positive circumstances won’t necessarily fall into your lap, and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. Sometimes Jupiter brings too much of something, and this could mean taking on more work than you can handle, getting lost in the details and organization necessary to keep your daily life running smoothly, and so forth. Watch that overconfidence doesn’t lead you to overload your plate.
Because Jupiter rules your solar tenth house and it’s now transiting your solar sixth house, there can be a lot of focus on detail work and/or service in your career during this period. You may be assisting others during this cycle, and for some, health-related or healing professions can be attractive at this time. There can be a stronger sense of responsibility to your work or your co-workers. You may be in a management position.
You are bringing fresh and original ideas to the work you do and the services you offer, and this is especially so until June, when you are especially innovative. There can be breakthroughs, pleasant surprises, new technology that helps advance your work, and new methods that excite and motivate you.
The most favorable periods for these matters occur while Jupiter is in direct motion in your solar sixth house, from April 8th to August 11th.
From August 11th forward (until September 2016), Jupiter transits your solar seventh house. During this cycle, you may enjoy benefits through committed unions, marriage, serious partnerships, common-law partnerships, business partnerships, negotiations, and/or contractual agreements. This is a year in which you are more likely to establish a significant partnership; or you could be enhancing an existing relationship with a new spirit of openness and acceptance. It’s one of the better transits under which to get married. You can negotiate more successfully than usual, and, if applicable, you are more likely to win in legal matters or other forms of official negotiations.
Financial benefits could possibly come through partnerships. Payments for services and work done in the past can come in. Business partnerships may form that are mutually beneficial, at least for the time being.
For those of you who are already partnered, you are likely to find more joy in close relationships due to a more easygoing and tolerant attitude towards others and partnering in general. It’s especially important to be fair with one another and to share your ideas and ideals. Legal matters or challenging relationship problems from the past might more easily be resolved now, and more casual disputes are likely to be settled during this cycle.
The need for freedom in your social relationships is strong, however, and if it is not forthcoming, you could feel caged in and restless. You may find yourself taking on the role of consultant or advisor, or you could benefit from help from same. Good publicity may come your way. If your work involves the public, you can safely expect increased popularity now, or you might receive good reviews, feedback, or word-of-mouth opportunities. Relationships and partnerships benefit from expansive, warm energy, or successful new ones are entered into this year. These positive circumstances won’t necessarily fall into your lap, and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. Also, although Jupiter is generally considered a positive and happy energy, close relationships could end during this cycle, but if they do, it’s generally in order to move on to a happier, healthier, more tolerant relationship. A warm, open, and honest approach to others wins you positive new relationships, or enhances existing ones.
Jupiter rules your sector of career, reputation, social standing, and life-plan goals. Any of these things can be tied with partnerships during this period. Some of you could meet a partner through a career affiliation or through the pursuit of your ambitions. Existing partnerships can strengthen through sharing common goals and ambitions. There could be an increase in social standing through a relationship. Your career may involve counseling, relationships, negotiations, or one-on-one interactions. A boss could be considered a peer or equal in some cases. There could be increased work with the public. A romantic partnership could form through professional connections, or an existing partnership can strengthen through sharing of professional aspirations. This could also point to legalizing a relationship, or going public with a partnership. Some of you could be relying heavily on the support of a partner or mate in order to succeed in your career.
From October forward is a strong period for raising a relationship to a new level. There could be an increase in income from a business or career, possibly through a partnership. This is a time for going all out, expanding a business, attracting customers and developing important relationships with colleagues. There can be strong improvements to a relationship to the point that it barely resembles what it was before. For some, a new philosophy of life is forming, and there is a stronger sense of meaning. Travel or exposure to different cultures and personal belief systems may be part of this. Relationships with in-laws may even improve now.
The most favorable periods for these matters occur while Jupiter is in direct motion in your solar seventh house, from August 11, 2015 to January 7, 2016 and then May 9 to September 9, 2016. (This transit lasts until September 2016).
Jupiter transits opposition your Sun/Ascendant from August 11th to September 26th. You might fall victim to wasting opportunities, time, or resources when transiting Jupiter opposes your natal Sun. You may sometimes feel that others are expecting too much from you, particularly in mid-September. Generally, this transit is a “feel-good” transit. You are likely to be feeling quite powerful and optimistic. The problem with the transit, for some, is that you might over-reach as a result of these inflated feelings of importance. You may be attracted to impractical ventures or connections. This need not be the case at all. In fact, you might find that you receive a much-needed boost to your ego at this time, and this can be a period of growth or culmination of a personal project. Think in big terms, but keep your feet on the ground.
Saturn transits your solar tenth house until June 14th and then from September 17th forward (until December 2017). This transit began in December 2014 and runs until December 2017 (with the exception of this summer, June 14-September 17, 2015). It’s typically felt most strongly in the first year of its influence.
This cycle represents a time in your life in which you build a secure foundation in your professional and/or most public life. Your standing in society comes under Saturn’s scrutiny. You have found yourself in the spotlight, and what it is exactly that you have been building has come up for inspection. Some of you find yourself receiving recognition and career “rewards” at this time. If this transit occurs in early adulthood, it is a time when you truly begin to face your duties as a career person. Although the tenth house is a house of ambition, you do not focus on where you are going as much as you focus on where you stand. Saturn’s transit of the tenth house is an eye-opening onea time when you are working hard, taking on your fair share of duties and responsibilities, and either reaping some of the rewards of your hard work or facing the consequences of poor choices. You become aware of what you have and haven’t accomplished to date. You are now treated to a realistic look at what you have built and achieved. You no longer view your place in the world, your career, and your reputation with rose-colored glasses. At times you may feel exposed, publicly scrutinized, or under fire in your career. If this discomfort is great, it may be that you have been holding onto a false image of yourself. The more acute elements of this transit happen this year, after which you become a little more comfortable with this energy.
During this cycle, your career requires important decisions and choices. Important projects may come to fruition, and this can be a time for reaping their rewards, but there can be some disappointment now as well if you haven’t achieved what you wanted to achieve. You are certainly more accountable for what you have and haven’t done.
There can be more recognition of the efforts you put forth, as well as increased motivation for tackling tasks that you previously felt were monotonous or uninteresting.
You may acquire a higher position now, and you are likely to feel the weight of increased responsibilities that come with it. There can be issues to handle with a parent (more likely the father) or parent figure, or a boss/authority figure in your life. You may be bringing more unusual or advanced techniques to your business, incorporating more ideals into your life plan, and some of you could be friends with influential people.
There can be some feelings of being blocked or stalled, by circumstances or by others, while Saturn squares your Sun this year. It can be difficult to feel that you’re moving forward under this influence. In fact, you’re not moving backwards, and you are moving forward slowly but surely. Treat delays as chances to perfect what you’re doing, and you’ll be much better off emotionally.
As Saturn squares your Sun, distinct pressures can begin to build up. More responsibilities on your shoulders could weigh you down a little, and life slows down a tad. Dealing with Saturn squares involves recognizing the need to slow down, face reality, and humble yourself a little. Pressures from your professional life are likely, but needn’t be overwhelming. You are likely to have new or increased responsibilities, and it might take some time to get adjusted to them. Your ego may be a little frail at this point, and, as a result, you may be harder on yourself than you need be. Much can be accomplished during this period. Although you may not see immediate results for your efforts, important groundwork can be laid for the future.
Saturn finishes its transit of your solar ninth house from June 14-September 17. This transit that began in October 2012 ended in December 2014, but resumes and finishes up from June 2015 to September 2015.
This period in your life is generally dedicated to self-improvement. You are developing your ideals and your commitments. Ideals and spiritual goals that you may have taken for granted or worked with for many years seem superficial or not particularly useful to you now. You come face to face with your own self-defeating attitudes during this period of time, and important work can be done on coming to a more realistic state of mind.
Higher learning and travel might be areas of constriction or you might find that you’re attracted to especially practical studies and that you travel for business more than for pleasure. You are taking a closer look at, and re-assessing, your attitude and confidence. The blind faith or optimism that may have carried you to date comes up for inspection. Are your belief systems sound? What do you stand for? What kind of future are you working towards, and why? These are some of the questions this transit has stimulated. The spirit that drives you and motivates you to move out and beyond the everyday grind comes up for inspection. By the end of the transit, you will have a better understanding of what it is that offers you hope and optimism as well as that which fuels your drive. You will be one step closer to knowing where you are headed, and you will have re-built faith in yourself. Ideally, you adopt a more mature attitude towards adventure and facing the unknown. You let go of self-defeating attitudes that have been holding you back, you recognize exactly where you have been overdoing your expectations, and you find new ways to nurture faith, hope, and vision. This is truly a period of self-discovery.
This is a time for resolving these issues. Saturn won’t return to this area of your chart for another 29 years!
Uranus continues to transit your solar second house this year. This transit continues to bring about changes to your value system. Some of you are moving towards a less materialistic value system, and others may be encountering unexpected circumstances that bring about a fluctuating or uncertain income. There may be a trend towards Uranus-ruled areas as the major source of income in your life, such as through new technologies, science, computers, the Internet, or metaphysics. You are also inclined to take a few more risks with your finances, or unusual ways of making money could be in place during this cycle. The best advice for increasing your earning power now is to nurture your latent inventive or progressive, future-oriented talents.
Neptune begins or continues its lengthy transit through your solar first house this year. This influence sensitizes your mind, body, and soul to a higher energy. It can act to soften your disposition, as you become more attuned to subtleties in your environment and in everyday activities. You absorb the mood of those around you quite easily now, and your temperament is somewhat changeable as a result. This transit can add a mysterious aura to the way you project yourself to others. You tend to be less practical than you are idealistic, dreamy, and sensitive. Some of you may find the mundane concerns of life too boring to grab your attention! Some may feel less confident, as their direction in life is suddenly uncertain; others may attune themselves to a stronger spiritual purpose. Those born February 27 to March 1st or with a 7-10 degree Pisces Ascendant are feeling this transit more acutely as Neptune aligns with your Sun or Ascendant this year, while the rest of you have already experienced the acute elements of this transit before 2015. All of these things apply, except with less intensity.
Pluto continues its lengthy transit of your solar eleventh house this year. Attitudes towards friends and group involvements transform this year and beyond (this is a very long-term transit). Most of you will be taking your friendships and group connections more seriously this year and in years to come, and there can be some intense, possibly even manipulative energy at times, involved in your social life. Some of you may be dealing with betrayals that ultimately show you who your true friends are – and aren’t. This is also a time when your long-term dreams and hopes shift dramatically. While you may have been content with certain dreams before this transit, now you either want more or want something else entirely. Many of you are searching for greater meaning and purpose – you want to do something that truly makes an impact or a difference. You can experience a far greater attachment to your beliefs and ideals, and you might become especially devoted to a particular cause. People you meet during this cycle can introduce you to new ways of thinking and can even inspire deep changes in your outlook and long-term goals.
The North Node of the Moon is transiting your solar eighth house until October-November, and this suggests that some of the greatest joys – and challenges – come through your attachments to others, your own feelings of being empowered, and your ability to share yourself with others. The North Node transits your solar seventh house from October-November forward, and the challenge is to work on sensitizing yourself to the needs of others and to get over any fears of the demands a partner might make on you. Through partnership, and through cooperation with others, you will more likely achieve the inner balance necessary for you to achieve your goals.
Eclipses to come.
