This year, Jupiter continues to transit curious Gemini until June 25th, and then moves through sentimental Cancer through to the end of the year. Electric Uranus continues to move through independent Aries. Serious Saturn continues its transit through passionate Scorpio all year. Neptune continues its transit of its own sign, Pisces, all year. Pluto continues its slow journey through Capricorn. Venus turns retrograde at the tail end of the year – Venus retrogrades in the sign of Capricorn from December 21st, 2013, to January 31, 2014.
Uranus in Aries continues to emphasize the value of independence. Uranus and Pluto square each other again in 2013, two times, in May and the end of October, and this can bring a strong feeling of pressure, especially to cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Saturn in Scorpio all year (until 2015) will challenge our feelings about intimacy, drawing up questions about whether we are connecting to others on a deep level. We might be more critical about the power dynamics and issues of control and sharing in our relationships. We might also be more selective about who we share ourselves with intimately.
Until June, Jupiter in Gemini suggests that we are likely to find joy in intellectual exchanges and in variety. We require more daily interaction and communication in our relationships. From June 25th forward, Jupiter in Cancer brings a sense of joy and abundance in primary bonding, family, comfort, and security. We tend to value these things strongly during this cycle that lasts until July, 2014.
Venus retrogrades in the sign of Capricorn at the tail end of 2013 and through the first month of January, 2014, bringing about a need to re-think or re-assess our personal relationships. Past lovers may re-appear and some relationships may end. Communication problems can be a hot topic. Old friends and lovers may re-appear, perhaps complicating current relationships. We are called upon to deal with relationship issues from the past. Events occur that seem fated or pre-destined. It can be a real challenge getting close to a lover during this period of time. Unorthodox, experimental, and non-intimate relationships may be favored. Those who have Capricorn strong in their charts may be more introspective, distant, or hard to reach during this cycle. They may not be in a very favorable light just for the time being.
