Increased personal responsibilities are likely this year, dear Sagittarius, but also joy in meeting goals and others’ discovery of your talents. 2015 is a strong year for practical focus and determination, and getting finances sorted and on track. There’s also good energy for your romantic and social life, even if it has its ups and downs.
Saturn has moved into your sign, and more permanently from mid-September forward (until 2017). This move affects all Sagittarians energetically on some level, but more directly those born November 22-December 3 and those with a Sagittarius Ascendant of 0 to 11 degrees. This is a time for really sorting out your life and getting it into order. You’ll need to deal with problem areas where you may have slacked. There may be times when you feel others don’t truly “see” your personal struggles and leave you to your own resources. Neglected or unfinished areas need attention now, and while it’s not especially glamorous, tending to these matters will keep you honest and contribute to long-term success. In fact, the best way to mentally deal with some of the frustrations of this position is to focus on setting things right and reminding yourself that the work you do now will benefit you for years to come. This is not the time to be short-sighted. Saturn can be like having a personal trainer, perhaps uninvited, but reminding you to shape up. While it’s mostly about getting your affairs into order, this can also be a time to firm up physically. Excesses become glaring. Moderation is the lesson now.
Jupiter helps to lighten your load, mostly in the form of a positive attitude, with its transit of your sector of spirit until mid-August. Take advantage of any opportunity to learn, grow, and improve during this fortunate transit. Look for the silver lining, absorb your lessons, and move forward. There can be fortunate connections to others, either romantic or creative, or both. Some of you could get published. Students may do especially well. You may be connecting with good, helpful mentors and teachers or strong programs. April to June is an especially strong period for these things.
While Saturn in your sign generally means operating under a low profile, Jupiter’s movement into your career and reputation zone in mid-August will bring you recognition. Especially from October forward, you’re carrying yourself with more dignity, maturity, and competence, attracting respect and positive attention. You take more pride in your performance. Advancement in achieving an important goal can occur now. There can be positive relationships with parents and bosses. People tend to encourage you to reach your highest potential. Finances may be overhauled. A stronger sense of timing improves both money and business affairs.
March’s Solar Eclipse may stimulate a new direction with family, housing, and accommodations. However, this is the first in a set of eclipses that bring new energy to your life direction and family/home life, extending until February 2017. A move or change in career goals may be in the works, and this is the first push towards making changes. There may be draining family or home life events and shifts from November forward to deal with. Uncertainty here can force you to mature quickly, possibly as you take on more personal responsibilities.
You’re encouraged to share more of yourself with others and to join with friends and teams this year, even if you are feeling a little solitary from time to time. There are rewards and benefits for keeping in touch. In fact, friendships and networking efforts can be very supportive, offering a breather from some of the more serious focus and responsibilities. In many ways, you are in the position to lead in 2015, and there can be some loneliness as the result of this. You might seek out people who are not as personally involved – acquaintances, groups, casual friends – for encouragement and pleasant diversion.
Your passions are especially stimulated February 20th to mid-March, when your personal magnetism is powerful and you’re motivated to pursue your desires. April’s Lunar Eclipse can bring surprises in the world of romance or social life, an announcement, or epiphany related to love and friendship. A partner may be acting out or acting out of character April-June. Special attention to a partnership is required now.
From September forward, pay special attention to long-term goals. Draw upon the power of September’s eclipse to start fresh on this level, and to give it your all. Nurture your ambition, enjoy a feeling of accomplishment, and don’t neglect your home life in the process. This year brings new responsibilities and a strong need for more structure in your life, but also all the tools necessary to feel on top of it all.
