Until July 16, 2014, your connections to others, group associations, and friendships expand and grow. Through groups or friends, you might seek a sense of belonging and comfort. Family and friends can be interconnected in interesting ways during this period.
This is a time when you are filled with ideas about the future. You are planting seeds, so to speak, aiming to get started on projects that will reap rewards in the future. While this can be exciting, try not to take on more than you can handle. Your vision is quite optimistic, and you might over-estimate what you are capable of doing down the road! However, one or two projects can be inspiring and also quite innovative.
With more contact with others, whether it’s about an expanded in-person group of connections or online, you are sure to come up with new ideas and to become inspired. Others can point you in new directions. There can be a cause that you work towards enthusiastically, possibly related to family. Business income should increase.
Potential negatives: Over-emphasis on activities that take you away from your practical responsibilities, too often. There may be difficulties with a child or lover who is at odds with the energy and time you are pouring into your friendships and causes, particularly in January and April. Can too many social opportunities truly be a problem? Sometimes with Jupiter, we experience an embarrassment of riches, so to speak, and tough decisions need to be made as a result of too many choices or opportunities.
However, for the most part, you are likely to take advantage of this period in your life in order to expand your social life and friends base, and to dream up exciting new paths for the future. This is especially true in May, when some of you could enter into new partnerships or enhance existing ones; and others might enjoy a solid new communications job or project, finding a voice through group connections made this year.
This influence will be in effect until mid-July 2014.
From July 16th onward, your spiritual world, compassion, private life, and tolerance expand and grow. Matters from the past are magnified in your life now. You tend to sort through the attitudes that serve you well, and the behaviors that need to go in order for you to grow and improve – a cycle that runs until August 11, 2015.
This is generally a warm, protective cycle, although with Jupiter in the background in your chart, there may be some sense that you are not truly living or experiencing your life to the fullest. Your close personal relationships tend to be private and possibly involve some sacrifices. There could be complicated family matters to deal with. There can be a lot of energy poured into serving or supporting family members or into domestic chores. For some of you, there can be work on a project in relative solitude or privacy.
Potential negatives: Escapism. You might often be tempted to escape your everyday responsibilities and challenges, and should avoid reliance on drugs, drinking, or other “glamorous” forms of escape.
Jupiter’s influence is generally considered positive, and it is, ultimately. However, it acts to magnify the area of the chart that it affects, and at times it can be uncomfortable if you are having difficulties in this area. In your case, if you are lonely or if you feel helpless, and if you have troubles facing your past, then this influence can heighten these issues. Ultimately, it’s for the good. The area of your life that requires a “back to basics” approach is again this year the sector that rules communications, learning, and local transportation. There may be tests of sorts in these areas of life, as if the universe is checking that the foundations are strong. Things built on weak foundations may very well crack under the pressure of these tests. Those that are strong will endure and strengthen.
This influence began October 5th, 2012, and is with you off and on until September, 2015. It can be felt most strongly earlier or later in the cycle, depending on when you were born.
Challenges can come to your communications. You may feel pressure to produce ideas, and to make them work in the “real world”. A certain somberness in your outlook may be characteristic of this phase, as it may be a time of worry. It may seem like acquaintances and sometimes siblings are blocking your growth in some manner, and these relationships may be strained as a result. Although you have a desire to make contacts, you are now rather preoccupied with learning or other mental projects, and you may view idle chit-chat as a waste of time. Your intimate life and support systems from others are stimulated and opened. These areas of life can be the wild card area of life, but also highly stimulating and innovative. You may be far more experimental when it comes to opening up yourself on sexual and intimate levels. There can be some experimentation in your relationships for some of you; for others, there may be less interest in, or possibly some fear of, intimacy right now. You do need to watch for over-confidence with others who might squander your shared resources, however.
