A strong focus on home and family matters or your personal life continues this month, dear Sagittarius. As the month advances, you look increasingly outside of your circle for feedback, pleasure, and attention.

Mars in your solar second until March 30th helps you pace yourself. Even so, you're quick to stand your ground if you feel taken for granted. You may be putting more effort into making money, and there is great energy this month for financial projects and initiatives involving home and family, especially in the second half of March.

The 8-9 is a time for career news, releases, or announcements. Your feelings about a long-term goal or your "calling" can surface now. You may need to take charge or take the lead. Mercury ends its retrograde cycle at this time, and blocks or delays seem to lift. A real sense that you want to move on comes over you at this time. A partner feels more energetic and confident after the 9th. Good news or rewards on the job front can arrive.

The second half of March is an opportunity period for you regarding finances, work, health, and relationships. It's an excellent period for enterprising and creative ways to do business, as well as for exciting purchases or gifts.

You can feel particularly motivated to improve your life or to do something courageous, likely due to strong feelings about money, possessions, or business. You're thinking big! You could enjoy a push-through or sudden boost in business or with money. Certainly, you want to move forward and take action on a project or idea. Confidence runs high as you feel that you can achieve something independently, and you have a strong sense that you can make things happen. Family or home life can be strong motivators for you. The desire to share your happiness, joy, or good fortune with others is strong. Indulge your feelings of kindness towards someone special in your life, and take the time to do something similar for yourself.

Saturn begins transiting your communications sector on the 21st, where it will influence for much of the coming three years. This transit will challenge you to channel your energies more constructively. You might take up structured learning or bring more discipline to your work or studies. You tend to communicate with more authority, and with more focus and structure, you can become quite skilled at a particular subject. Some distancing yourself from others might occur with new interests and responsibilities, however. It's a supportive transit overall--one in which you're more able to meet your obligations. You're keeping your cool! Life feels more stable. It's a fine time for learning better concentration and the ability to listen and absorb lessons/information. You're developing mental discipline and organization.

Mars meets Saturn in this area of your chart on the last day of March, and news can arrive that prompts you to get serious about a matter, or conversations occur about important topics. You become aware of details that need your attention. Approach problems one at a time, and step by step for best results. During this heart-warming cycle, you would do best to allow yourself to explore your inner needs so that you can nurture yourself and others in a healthy, growth-oriented manner, in preparation for more outgoing times to come.

From March 20th forward:

The Sun illuminates your solar fifth house now. After a period of "nesting", you are coming out of your shell, ready to perform and to express yourself creatively. This is a very playful period of the year, when you are inspired creatively and emotionally. After a period of self-protectiveness, you are now more spontaneous and more willing to take risks. Our detailed monthly horoscopes are designed to reveal and interpret the current transits of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in your solar chart. Because these energies or transits do not unfold neatly into any given calendar month (many transits carry forward from one month to the next), you will find some of the energies continue from a previous month. For example, the Sun might transit the second house of your solar chart from June 21 to July 22, so that you will find a similar interpretation for this transit in both June and July’s horoscope. This is normal and expected. While new months can hold new energy, transits don’t abruptly change because the calendar month changes.

These monthly horoscopes also include an overview paragraph, as well as other energies specific to the month, such as retrogrades, eclipses, or major outer planet transits.

The Highlights section reveal lunar cycle dates. Lunar cycles repeat themselves approximately every 28 days, so it is normal to see the same lunar peaks, such as “Your Personal New Moon” and “Monthly career peak” repeat themselves from month to month, but with different dates. They serve as a helpful guide to cycle peaks in different areas of life, such as financial, career, romance, and partnership.

The horoscopes are divided into three groups or decanates, and the differences between the groups are subtle in parts and large in other parts. For those who prefer a whole sign approach to horoscopes (classic), simply read the first decanate regardless of your birthdate.
