Saturn has been moving through your sector of self-expression, fun, creativity, and romance, and will continue to do so all year. Until June, this planet of realism is in a wonderful trine relationship to your Sun (or Ascendant), offering you a real sense of overall stability. You feel like you can handle pretty much anything that comes your way–and you can! Saturn’s energy is a somewhat somber one. You, Aries, might translate it as “boring”, but you are sure to appreciate the confidence that it brings you. It’s not a flashy kind of “pick me!” confidence–it’s way more realistic than that. But support from Saturn gives you a quiet boost that is based on what is real. It’s easier at this time to face your responsibilities. People around you can rely upon you. You’re getting your act together, and you convey an almost tangible aura of responsibility and dignity that’s sure to earn you some sort of recognition. If you have a passion or creative hobby, this is the time to make something of it. For example, if you make jewelry as a pastime, you could turn it into a money-making venture during this period.

With Jupiter moving through your sector of joint finances, intimacy, and transformation, this is a power year for you on a financial level. Mind you, it’s unlikely to be a year when you see big windfalls. In fact, you may feel the need to buckle down. But with Saturn in your fifth, especially in the first half of the year when it supports your Sun (or Ascendant), it will be easier than ever to do so. This is an excellent year for tackling any form of addictions or problems with your daily health routines. Diets and plans to cut back on self-destructive habits are easier to implement this year. Disruptions on the work front are possible in March, when Mercury is retrograde and a lunar eclipse occurs in your work and health sector. Something isn’t working, and you’re going to have to work on fixing it. If it means changing your daily routine, it’ll be worth it in the long run. Watch for tensions in partnerships in September, when Mars (your ruler) moves through your relationship sector. Impulsive decisions or sharp words can cause all sorts of problems, and you may feel a bit out of control during this time. Flare-ups are likely to be temporary, so try to lay low. Neptune continues to sensitize you to groups and teamwork. Your natural tendency is to want to come out ahead on your own, but subtle lessons from Neptune help you to see the value of the group this year. With Uranus moving through your “hidden” sector, the world of your dreams is activated. New Year’s resolutions will be much easier to implement beginning in July this year with Saturn supporting your Sun (or Ascendant). A greater sense of your own worth, and confidence in expressing your creative self in a concrete manner, will help you to forge ahead slowly but surely. The second half of the year is a great time for you to tackle bad habits and to re-create a whole new routine or health regimen.

Jupiter begins its transit through your sector of joint finances and intimacy at the beginning of the year. Last year, you may have found that life was very much about your personal relationships. You may have gained a new partner or improved your love life considerably. This year, the focus is on increasing your satisfaction on an intimate level. It’s not about increasing the quantity of sexual and intimate activities. Rather, it’s all about quality and depth. Superficial connections simply won’t work for you anymore! Expect a pursuit of pleasure that touches the soul, and do what you can to derive true satisfaction from your connections. You may find that you will be released from debt or some form of dependency on someone else for support during this period. Alternatively, if you really need support in the form of loans or backing, this could be the time when you get what you need.

Last year, you may have found yourself focusing on building your nest and your sense of security. Your domestic life needed some restructuring, and your attention to this area of your life is strongest in May. This year, you continue to focus on stabilizing your family and home life, but your attention begins to turn to your own personal needs for self-expression approximately mid-year. Your love life may hit a few snags at the beginning of the year when retrograde Venus squares your Sun (or Ascendant), but Jupiter moving through your relationship sector most of the year should right any wrongs you encounter. You have been learning the true value of partnership, and continue to do so this year. Pluto has been working its transformative magic on your identity, infusing you with increased confidence in the unique way you express yourself to the world. Greater satisfaction from your job is likely, as you learn to identify what it is that actually makes you happy and feeds your ego.

Some major shake-ups in your daily routine could be in store for you this year. A lunar eclipse in March, and then a solar eclipse in September, both occur in your work and health sector. It’s probably time for a change. This doesn’t necessarily changing your job altogether, but it does suggest the need for changes to your routine. October marks a marked change in the way you meet the world. Your usual tendency is to jump first and think later. However, Saturn moving through the last decanate of Leo forms a trine to your Sun (or Ascendant), offering you some foresight. A new sense of what you can and cannot do, and more willingness to shoulder responsibilities, infuses you with a solid sense of accomplishment. You project a more grounded image to others, and while you may not jump ahead in leaps and bounds, you are sure to enjoy some quiet recognition for your efforts. New opportunities for expressing your creative self present themselves, and they are tangible, practical ones, not just flights of fancy.
