There are four CD-ROMs in this inexpensive package:
- Birth Horoscope Interpreter
- Oracle of Changes
- Tarot Magic
- The Art of Palmistry
The Astrology CD-ROM, Birth Horoscope Interpreter, features some excellent, professionally-written interpretations for a natal chart. This software program was originally published by World of Wisdom. An interactive natal chart is available onscreen, and interpretations of the positions of planets and luminaries by sign and house are given. Also, the ascendant, planetary aspects, and more, are explored on an individual level, as well as in a general sense. The reports and charts can be printed.
The Oracle of Changes is a wonderful CD-ROM. It’s based on the I-Ching, and users cast coins in order to read possible solutions to their problems. The artwork is beautiful, and the interpretations are symbolic and intriguing.
Tarot Magic features 10 Tarot decks and 10 possible spreads to select from. Stand-alone interpretations the individual cards are given as well as their relative positions in the spread. Essays on the history and use of the Tarot are included. This program is decent and makes use of multimedia well.
The Art of Palmistry, on the other hand, is not as dazzling on a multimedia level. The subject matter simply doesn’t lend itself well to this medium. However, the CD-ROM has a lot of information to offer, and a simulation of a palm is featured. A glossary is included, and descriptions of the meanings of the various lines, mounts, and other relevant markings on the hand are offered.
Altogether, this is a nice package that is also inexpensive (retails for about $30 US, but you can get it for less by clicking on the link below). We recommend it!
