Our Review:
This year’s edition of Susan Miller’s “The Year Ahead” series features the same warm and expressive style, constructive advice, and that made the previous years’ editions shine. The Year Ahead 2005 features a new layout and design that is as refreshing as the text.
Planning the “year ahead” is fun and easy with this authoritative guide. The bulk of the book, of course, is a sign-by-sign exploration of the planetary cycles and how they affect each sign. Areas of life covered include finances, romance, career, creativity, home and family, social life, appearance, relaxation, travel, higher education, and more.
A “Big Picture” is offered for each sign, as well as a detailed look at the year’s cycles and a list of the best dates for 2005.
Not to be missed are the introductory chapters, which include a general synopsis of the year ahead for all signs, a look at the eclipses of 2005, retrograde planets, and an introduction to the meanings of the planets and houses.
Once again, the author encourages readers to read the interpretative texts for both the sun sign and the rising sign (Ascendant). By blending the two, readers will get a better understanding of what to expect in the year ahead.
The Year Ahead 2005 is a wonderful read, brimming with useful advice and tools for both the beginner and for students of Astrology. Susan Miller writes horoscopes for Self and CosmoGirl magazines, the New York Daily News, and is the creator of AstrologyZone.com.
