Our Review:
For those who want to delve a little deeper into their natal charts, this book is an extraordinarily accessible gem. Very readable and fun, Secrets is designed for those who want to explore Astrology in a lighthearted way. Although tailored for the “lazy person”, the interpretations are accurate and very useful.
Written with humor and insight, this book is enjoyable from cover to cover. It’s perfect for those weary from dry cookbook descriptions of the planets and signs. Kempton-Smith’s style is fun, and she gives examples of the charts of rock stars, actors and actresses, and even nations to help illustrate her points. Topics are plentiful, and include such things as food, sports, travel, health, horary astrology (the astrology of asking questions), money, void-of-course moon, and synastry in addition to the planets in signs and houses.
