This aspect is often found in the charts of people who stand out in their field or have an especially compelling, unique personality and aura. People with this aspect may gain a reputation for being unique or special and intriguing. With this aspect in your birth chart, others notice you for your uniquely-defined individuality or style.
With this natal chart feature, there is an ability to maneuver and fabricate, although this aspect alone doesn’t define whether this skill is used for good or bad. In other words, it doesn’t speak to the moral character. For example, it can make a person especially talented at acting, investigating, doing mathematics, making plans, and so forth. This doesn’t mean that individual will maneuver in their personal relationships or all areas of life.
You particularly appreciate cleverness, innovation, and originality in your games, jokes, and pastimes as pleasant and refreshing diversions from the routine or mundane. What is a Quintile aspect?
The quintile is a minor aspect (as opposed to major aspect) that occurs when we divide a circle by the number 5. It’s 72 degrees. A biquintile is twice that, weighing in at 144 degrees.
In other words, if two planets or points are 72 degrees apart from one another, they form an exact quintile. In practice, points are rarely precisely 72 degrees apart, but astrologers allow an orb, which is often one or possibly 2 degrees for the quintile. This orb defines which aspects can be “counted” as quintiles. As such, if an astrologer allows a 1-degree orb for an aspect to get the label of quintile, then planets and points that are anywhere from 71 to 73 degrees apart will form a quintile with one another.
Note that the orb for minor aspects is typically smaller than those assigned to the major aspects.
The quintile is a powerful aspect for creative manifestation. It bestows a highly sophisticated, poised, and polished quality to the chart and the nature. With this aspect between planets and/or points, we demonstrate exceptional adaptability. Those influenced by the quintile and biquintile possess a remarkable versatility and ingenuity. They have a strong affinity for balance, patterns, and design, making them dynamic and flexible in their approach.
A quintile is one-fifth of a circle and a biquintile is two-fifths of a circle.
