Until May 9th:
The Sun continues to put a spotlight on your solar eleventh house. During this cycle, you are planting seeds for the future, dreaming up plans that you might begin to develop two months down the road, if they still seem viable then. You are more aware of the benefits of networking, and you might find some great ideas through others now. You might be working in a team now.
You could be questioning some of the rules you have been living by and you could be ready to try something totally new. You are more attracted to that which is progressive or unconventional during this cycle.
From May 10th forward:
The Sun travels through your twelfth house now, marking a time of retreat and regeneration. Think about the attachments you have--to things, people, and routines--and consider which ones are dragging you down. This is a time when competitive energies and the ego are on a bit of a break.
It's not the time to push ahead with brand new projects. Rather, it's a time of reflection, dreaming, and recharging your batteries. Situations that have naturally outgrown their usefulness in your life can now be put behind you. Endings of natural cycles may be part of the picture at this time of year. Your energy is largely applied to personal and private affairs now. Your disposition is introspective. Rest and reflect, and prepare for a more outgoing cycle when the Sun moves into your first house.

You could find it hard to deny yourself much of anything during this cycle! This is a time when you naturally let loose your softer, receptive side. Romantic matters, as well as pleasure-seeking activities, come to the fore now. You are more likely to pay closer attention to your physical appearance and mannerisms, aiming to improve and enhance your attractiveness. Others find you especially agreeable and cooperative. You are more gracious, well-behaved (superficial if you are not careful!), and likable now. Take advantage! It's a time when you turn heads, and it's also a period for extra attention to pleasures, pampering, and enjoyment.
Venus is retrograde from May 13th to June 25th Venus retrograde in general: As the planet of love and values, Venus retrograde periods are periods during which we re-assess what--and who--we value. It is a period that most astrologers consider inopportune for getting married or starting a new relationship. Major financial undertakings are not advised during this period as well. Venus retrograde cycles are good times for creating budgets and financial plans, and for re-thinking our personal relationships. Old friends and lovers may re-appear, perhaps complicating current relationships. We are called upon to deal with relationship issues from the past. Events occur that seem fated or predestined. It can be a real challenge getting close to a lover during this period of time. Unorthodox, experimental, and non-intimate relationships may be favored. Relationships that have been especially challenging may come to an end during this cycle. However, strong relationships will survive it, even if there are a few bumps and bruises along the way. For singles, this is a good time for "eyes wide open" or experimental dating. It is not a time when people recognize the need for another person to complete them, or some people may be questioning whether they are with partners who actually fulfill them. This period is good for re-evaluating our relationship needs; but, again, major love decisions are best saved for after the cycle ends.This Venus Retrograde cycle, for the most part, occurs in your first house, affecting your first house of personal appearance and mannerisms. This cycle will strongly influence the personal image you project to others. Others may misunderstand what you do and say, and misread your body language. Others may not be seeing you in the most favorable of light, and events may be such that you feel the need to rethink the way you present yourself. You may be coming across in a harsher, even militant manner without even realizing it. Try to keep things status quo with regards to your love life. Don't worry if a lover isn't quite "getting" you for the time being. Things will change once Venus turns direct. Also, take this time to review your instinctual responses to new things and the first impression your make on others in terms of how these things help or hinder you.
Because Venus rules your romance sector, don't jump to conclusions if a lover is acting a little distant. Wait it out. Venus also rules your twelfth house, and your desires from love and relationship may be hard to figure out for the time being.
Mercury this Month: Communications, Learning, Connections, Transportation

Mercury continues to journey through your solar eleventh house. This is a time when conversations with friends and various networking activities are much appreciated and offer learning experiences. Your ideas just now are especially progressive and unconventional, as you are questioning the rules you typically live by and entertaining some wild ideas.
Not all of these ideas are necessarily going to last or lead to new projects, but it's a time of dreaming up new possibilities and new possible solutions to problems. You are especially interested in spending time with people who are like-minded. Social interactions are more frequent, light, and fun during this cycle.
From May 7-21:
Your mind is focused on private matters and past issues while Mercury transits the twelfth house of your solar chart. This is a time when you are least likely to speak out of turn or to express yourself freely. You're searching behind the curtain, and examining the past for answers.
This is a good time for research, quiet contemplation, and meditation; but do avoid getting dragged down by issues that have outgrown their worth and purpose. You're frequently turning your attention to unresolved matters or the past until the last week of May when you're likely to feel more inspired and motivated to chase your dreams. The Sun in your sign from the 20th forward offers opportunities to make your mark.
