Mercury enters Scorpio today, and during this cycle, our thoughts and conversations are probing and intense. While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and reach reasonable solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows life isn’t always fair and adjusts accordingly.

Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all things hidden or undercover. It’s a time to probe, investigate, observe, and focus. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried, the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations.

Scorpio is exceptionally sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking tends to be one-track-minded and perhaps obsessive.

Mercury usually spends about three weeks in a sign. Still, due to its upcoming retrograde cycle (from October 24th to November 13th), Mercury will spend over two months in Scorpio–it transits Scorpio until December 6th.

The Moon continues its transit of Taurus until 1:27 PM EDT, when it heads into Gemini.

The Gemini Moon harmonizes with Mars, Neptune, and Pluto, and aligns with Uranus, creating rich opportunities to express ourselves and interact. We’re interested, adaptable, and curious. It’s a perfect time to explore new topics and tackle a variety of tasks. We’re taking the initiative and pursuing freedom in our thoughts and actions today.
