The Sun enters Libra today and will transit the sign until October 23rd. In the month ahead, we focus on balancing our personal environments and relationships. It’s a time for considering alternatives and others’ needs, agendas, and desires. Meeting people halfway, compromising, and negotiating come under the rule of Libra.

Decision-making can be more challenging while the Sun is in Libra–we weigh both sides of any situation, and sometimes this process goes on too long! An inferior conjunction of Mercury and the Sun will occur very early tomorrow, influencing us today. This is a good time for processing recent events and ideas, and for beginning to look at problems or issues from a new perspective and understanding.

The beginning of significant new ideas occurs now and are likely to have real staying power or importance in our lives. What we say or write now has an impact, for better or worse. However, we may not have all the facts necessary to draw a conclusion, and we might later have to revise plans or decisions made now.
