Neptune forms a sextile with Pluto, and this is the second perfection, and this is the second of many such aspects while Neptune is in Aries and Pluto is in Aquarius (the first was in July). In fact, Neptune will form a sextile with Pluto thirteen times, until the year 2032.

With this long-term influence, we are especially able to see the layers of a situation. We’re intrigued by what makes things work and by people’s motivations, as well as economics, natural resources, parapsychology, and politics. It’s a time of rich experiences and cultural movements, transformative scientific thought and advancement, and of paying more sensitive attention to human rights.

Psychic energy is intense but not overwhelmingly so during this phase of spiritual unclogging. We seek a sense of purpose or magic now, wanting to elevate what’s mundane or ordinary in our lives. We might work on deepening our intuition, imagination, or compassion, or we might feel more compelled to act on these things to make a change.

The Sun is parallel to Saturn, bringing a responsible and serious theme to the day. We’re measured and moderate in our approach.

With a Sun-Chiron biquintile also in play, we’re willing to grow, learn, and listen. We’re absorbing and sharing what we’ve learned from past experiences and mistakes. Holistic problem-solving is particularly rewarding and successful.
